Just looking at the money and thinking about the return on investment I just don't believe that it'd be a good idea for me to make the trip this year. Dealing with my anxiety, stress and depression(which only seemed to get really bad this year) has also left me dreadfully under-prepared.

So. Yeah. Will have to miss out this time around. But, hopefully I'll be able to see you guys next year.

Hey all!

I'll be taking in-stream sketch commissions throughout the week. They'll go for $15 USD or $25 if you want it colored. $10 for an additional character, limiting these to only 2. These sketch streams will take place at 7pm EST starting today, May 11th; until Friday, May 15th. Each stream will probably last somewhere between 2-4 hours depending on the amount of takers.

I have an original fat (model 1001) PSP that I only recently 'hacked' and am attempting to run emulators on. I've heard good things about the PSP and emulators but I'm experiencing mixed results. N64 games are somewhat sluggish at best with some sound issues. SNES games have text overlay problems and loading save states crash the game. NES games run perfectly, but I'm bummed that I can't put the unit on standby and back without crashing.

If anyone has some suggestions let me know!

I can see why people don't typically use the note system here. I tend to recheck conversations for details about a comm and I'm finding myself desperately scrolling up and down to find anything. I found a kinda sorta way to keep things tidy but it makes replying tedious since the reply box tends to jumble things around in an odd way. If the message convos would just thread it would be infinitely better.

Hey guys, I am sorry I haven't been very active the past couple of weeks. I have a sinus infection that still hasn't gone away and I can't hear out one of my ears due to it. As far as my car goes we are getting it replaced. When I tried to get it fixed the shop said that we should get the engine replaced. With that being said the person who was going to pay for the repairs decided to instead help us get a "new" used car. So I just need to raise a little more to finally be done with this whole car mess. We are behind on the heat and rent and I still have one last final rental car payment left so thus the below fund raising options...

Since I saw that some artist were inspired by the Target Reindeer displays it gave me an idea, so I thought some of you might like to own your very own display. Great news!!! My car is getting fixed!!!!! An amazing person at my daughter's school is taking care of it! I still have the raffle going on just so I caught up on all of the bills that will not be getting paid (rent, gas, electric, insurance) at the end of the month due to the almost $800 rental car payment coming out next week. But at least we will finally be treading water instead of drowning in it like we have been these past couple of months! Thanks for all of your support, prayers, thoughts, and shares! So, after some comments caused me to do some research yesterday I thought it would be best if I explain my thoughts on the subject and how that will affect my presence on FA.

1. Why I decided to create the account in the first place:

I am using Patreon as a vehicle to help me achieve my dreams and goals for my life. With enough support I would be able to finally do what I have always wanted to ever since I was a little boy; illustrate my own comics and cartoons. Although I do have tons of support here. (I honestly appreciate every single friend, commissioner, watcher, and comment-er.) Doing commissions and having auctions only provides me money when I do those things. And I do this full time so I can help support my family but in doing these, I don't have time to work on my own projects.

I have some really great ideas that I think you all would enjoy but I haven't been able to create them nor do I feel motivated or inspired to create my own work when I have spent all day creating others ideas. With your support on Patreon I will still get paid to create my own ideas. (I will continue to take commissions on here no matter what!) That's more beneficial for you in the long run because who doesn't want to read a comic about amazingly sexy vixens who are assassins, or watch how a romance between friends unfolds in a weekly comic? There is so much I am involved in that I want to create for you guys, but I just don't have the time due to financial reasons.

Besides the reasons above, ultimately I want to work with the woman who quit being a stay at home mom to help me live my dream. My wife works so hard at a job she can't stand because she wants to see me happy. With your support she will be able to quit and work with me full time so we can create even more amazing content for you and travel to more conventions so we can meet you. She writes for me, colors for me, and does a whole lot of other stuff for my business when she is not at work. I really want to see her happy and finally have her home with me, I see Patreon as a way for that to happen.

2. Will you stop posting and taking commissions on here?

NO! If you look at my Patreon goals I state the amount of exclusive works that will be created. I will always open up for work on here. You guys are like my family and I would never just abandon you because I get paid more to do what I love. Would I like your support on Patreon? Yes, because it gives me hope that I can be an inspiration to others when they enjoy what I have created. But I will still post my creations on here, and be active on here.

3. What if I want to support you but can't afford it?

You can pledge as little as $1 per month to support me and be able to view the Patreon exclusive items. (for example my comic, although some of it will be on here to view the whole thing you will have to sign up.)

If you can't or won't support me on Patreon, I understand. You can support me other ways, constructive criticism, faves, comments, and shares are also much appreciated!

A local radio station's morning show mentioned MFF this morning and brought up details that what was first thought to be a gas leak was indeed an intentional attack. What followed was the hosts discussing what they thought a 'furry' was. Dissapointing. After so many years after that bullshit MTV thing the general idea of a furry from an outsiders perspective is still just the yiffing crowd.

Yes. Sexuality is present in this fandom, just like it is in others. But, it's not what it's all about. People get into it for different reasons and it's not always about sex.

I dunno. Do any of you guys have an opinion on this? I'd love to hear it.
