Posted 12 years agoSo I have this friend, who is more of a best friend, and they will know who they are... I can honestly say he is one of the kindest, friendliest, funniest, most brilliant and caring guy I know... Hell he even worries when I go out because he is a sea away and he isn't there to help me if I'm in trouble... But to you my friend I say this... Thank you, for absolutely everything. I will never be able to repay you for everything you have ever done. You kept me company on lonely nights and made me talk when I really didn't want to but that's the guy he is... And I'd be screwed without him...
So to you my friend, if you see this and blush like you probably will, I can honestly say I will never regret the day I met you, though you may regret the day you met me!

Posted 12 years agoSo I work for this shop selling soap, skincare and that sort of stuff... Today in store a teenager a little younger than me walks in looking to hand his CV in for a job when I recognised him from a few months ago... He came in then for something to get rid of his acne as it was affecting his confidence... Having cleared up from the products I recommended, he grinned widely when I recognised him and said "You helped me get rid of it and helped boost my confidence... Thank you so much! I hope I get this job so i can help people!"
I think i smiled for about the next four hours... I know it sounds stupid... But this is why i work in that shop... To help people to help themselves and get rid of those little insecurities :)

Posted 12 years agoI think most of you won't look at this at all or ignore so that's fine... but i can't rest easy until this is off my chest.
Firstly, to Jack. You probably won't see this either, because you're never on this anymore and right now we're... not in good ways. Jack, you know I am a melodramatic, a parnoid and self conscious idiot. I could never thank you enough for everything you have done for me these last few months. I met you out of nowhere, as a complete stranger, and now I would welcome you with open arms. I could never ask for a better friend, scratch that, a best friend. I treat you like a brother and I always will, and though now you may not see that, please know it. You sometimes say you understand the way you've helped me, but fuck that. You won't know the breath of fresh air you were to me and what you still are. Sure we argue a lot more than we should, but it brought us closer in the end. And hey... remember? We can call each other whatever and be fine bitchtits... just this time I was the one to overreact. I love you buddy.
Secondly, to Brandon. He probably won't see this either because he's polishing the metal off his new car. But Brandon, I love you too man. Like Jack, you were a stranger who became as close as family. You came into my life when I lost a close friend, and you were a comfort to me. I can't sit back and be a hypocrite about what was said this morning. But I would make sacrifices for our friendship. Thank you for everything.
Thirdly, to Seany... you're one of the funniest furs I've ever met and I will always love you, you crazy Aussie. You cheer me up when everything looks grey and your delightful optimism never fails to make this grumpy Pommie smile. Like the other two (though you don't know them), you were once a complete stranger, now you are like a brother. We've not had any emotional ties or bonding experiences really... which I'm kinda glad about because to make an Aussie cry is oh so rare... I'm just glad you're wackiness is always there to brighten up my day.
I'm not here to make arguments... I hate confrontation. I'm on this Earth to get by, and if you don't like it, then you can just walk on by. There are many other great friends I have, but these three are just.... three of the nicest people I have ever had to pleasure to talk with. I will love you lot forever, believe me. No matter what I say, or what I do. I will be there for you... forever and always.
