Posted 11 years agoHad lots of fun at FWA this year. Hung out with a lot of friends I don't see to often, and even a little with friends I see locally time to time!
Had lots of fun running around in my new partial, Sloane the malamute around the hotel and the streets of Atlanta. Even the people at Trader Vic's under the Hilton loved him as can be seen in this pic www.foxdude.net/tvicsfursuit.jpg Drunk birthday girls are awesome!

JaxFurs Picnic April 11th-12th!

The event has become to large for the park, and is now hosted at the Seahorse Inn at the beach, including a private gate that leads directly to the beach!
Fursuit bowling will happen Friday evening. The grilling will happen at the Seahorse Inn starting at noon on Saturday which will also be the big party night!

Posted 12 years agoHad a lot of fun. Was nice hanging out with friends I haven't seen in a while, and making some new ones. Also! Big thanks to 
kittystarpaw for letting me wear her Leo fursuit. I love fursuiting and it's definitely high up on my list of upcoming purchases after putting it off for so many years of being in the fandom. The pools were nice, using saline rather than chlorine. The rooms were basic, but clean.
The cleaning ladies were awesome! I was on a rollout bed, and if I had anything on the bed that was mine, they placed it nearly identically where it was after making the bed! Definitely mindful and non-intrusive if you are in the room while they do their duty.
High Tide Harry's! That was a requirement! Their service and food was awesome!

Looking for MFF room spot
Posted 12 years agoAnyone going to MFF that has a spot in the room of the main hotel? Rollaway bed is fine, I'd be there Friday morning till Monday early morning.

Posted 12 years agoI'd like to make it clear that nothing Paradox ever did was without my permission. There may be some small things that I felt should have had my blessing, but was nothing that I hadn't done myself in the past... No one should hold against him what they think he has done, and if they do have questions, should come to me first.
DO NOT trust third party info as not everyone remembers exactly what they were told or even heard it in a way I meant for. And a number of times it's likely you were told by people I trusted not to repeat what was said...
I'll leave it simple as this. Treat him as you would, as if you never heard any details between he and I, those are between him and I. If you feel you need to know or they would affect your judgement of either of us, ask us both and get both sides of the story so that you can make your own assumption based off of what you have heard.

FWA 2013 Recap
Posted 12 years agoOverall I'd say that this year was pretty fun. Ended up nabbing a last minute suite and had parties in it all three nights. 
Carwyn and 
TriggerFox ended up hosting Friday night. That party was probably the most bumping thing besides the Dance floor itself with 4 DJ's through the night and a system powerful enough to get us multiple complaints and shut down by 11:20pm.
I'd call that a success! Saturday night was a lot more mild with the fursuit dance comp going on but still had it's pro's. Sunday had about as much attendance as Friday, but without the loud music, thus wasn't shut down till
Crexon decided it was time to end it.
Can't complain! Saw many friends I have not seen in quite some time, met a few new ones and others I haven't met in person before. The suite kept me so busy I didn't get to hang out with as many people as I had hoped. So not sure I'll be doing it again Unless I can truly fill it out with roomies (That's 8 peoples tops btw).

FWA St. Patrick's Day Lunch meet!

FWA Suite Party update!
Posted 12 years agoLooks like a couple people are willing to give up their spaces in one of the two rooms adjoining the suite! If two to four people want the King Bedroom side of the suite and want to help host a big Saturday party let me know!
If two people want to share the room with Mercutio and have their own second bed, let me know! If you know Mercutio (aka Merc) from FloridaFurs and wouldn't mind sharing one of the queen beds with him, please please let me know again. :P

Posted 13 years agoYou draw arts? I want arts. Looking for at least two pieces. One of which will have two characters and a detailed background. Looking for something semi-realistic, or very realistic if you're good at breaking the 4th wall.

Going to start off the weekend right with some exercise. I haven't biked in forever and want to make use of the hotels trails. Will probably do some of that on Friday.
Who all is going?? I expect to have people with me for the many activities I'll be participating in this weekend.

Elliott's Winter Carnival
Posted 13 years agoHad a load of fun. Being staff meant lots of work though too! Really glad we were able to get another amp so that we could actually get some bass this event. Having painted walls and carpet/tile throughout made sure there was no dust sticking to everything.
Although I didn't try the icee machine, the coffee machine was a life saver! I also thoroughly enjoyed serving food to people though it got a little tough keeping up with the number of people coming by lol.
Getting that balcony up and the room upstairs done was a large project that all of the workers got involved in at some point. You'd be amazed at what you can accomplish when numerous minds with expertise on various things get together.
Was great seeing everyone and hope everyone enjoyed the event! Can't wait for the hotel event, keep an eye out on my Journal as the date gets closer as I have a feeling there might be a party or two somewhere around. ;)
