APPARENTLY GOOD IDEA WAS GOOD!

I will be opening for the “pelts” that I mentioned earlier made from faux fur. There seems to be enough interest.
They will be ranging in any size which means they can range in price as well.
I will also be opening for the tail keychains.
I can’t give definite prices for the pelts right now, so if you’re interested, feel free to note me.
As for the tail key chains, they’ll be 10$ a piece + 2$ shipping.
Feel free to comment here or note me to take a spot.
For the pelts, a deposit will need to be paid before any work will be done.
I’ll be opening for ten spots right now, for either or. The spot just puts you on my list, so if you want a pelt and a tail, or multiples of each, you’re more than welcome to it, it won’t require more than one spot.

So while picking up and putting away some fur today, I got this crazy idea.
I’ve noticed that taxidermy had taken a rise in popularity, myself? I’m intrigued.
Anyway, while putting away some faux fur and what not, I got a giggly idea of what a Dezu pelt would look like.
And then I got curious even more so...
Right now it’s just out of curiosity, if someone were to offer “pelts” of any shape or size of our fursona out of faux fur, would there be interest?
Also, I’m thinking about making little tails for commission. Little tail keychains, kinda like the style of the rabbits feet...but...not rabbits feet XD

I really regret to be the one to say this, but enough is enough and I’m putting my paw down.
Anyone who has ordered a commission from me, if it is not paid in full by the end of August, I’m sorry but I will have to cancel it as there are several commissions that have been in limbo.
This doesn’t mean I’m not going to finish the commissions that I have and that have been paid for. Those are in the works. And I do apologize for the wait.
Also, I seem to have come to a problem when it comes to requests and gift art.
Yes I do have quite the list and have been working on pieces here and there, but I hate to be the one to say this, but a request is a request, a gift art is a gift. There never will be set deadlines for these and I’m doing them out of the kindness of my own heart. PLEASE do not pester me about these ANYMORE as I’m working on them in my spare time which I have very little of now a days.
So once again, I really regret saying this, but the next person to hassle me about when their gift art/request will be done and why it isn’t done yet, will ruin it for everyone and I will shut down requests indefinitely.
I know it may seem like I’m coming off as a complete bitch, but theres been enough hassle and harassment about these kind of things that I’ve been tempted to leave teh fandom several times. I have priorities and this is the order they go in:
COMMISSIONS
TRADES
REQUESTS AND GIFTS
A commission will always come first when it comes down to it because it’s been paid for. While gift art may pop up in between commissions and what not, that is so I can take a break and continue to give the commissioner my best work without burning myself out over the picture and ending up rushing it.
Trades will always come second because it’s a service being traded for a service. They are giving me a piece of art work in exchange for a piece of mine. So once again, these will take priority over gift art and requests because it is a trade. Once again, gift art may pop up in between these so I can take a break and continue to give the trade my best work without burning myself out over the picture and ending up rushing it.
REQUESTS AND GIFT ARTS ARE DONE ON MY OWN SPARE TIME! THEY WILL NEVER HAVE PRIORITY! I’m sorry how harsh that sounds, but understand, I have a job. I take care of 5 rescue animals and one that is my mates. And I would like to socialize with friends and spend time with my mate.
ALSO, if I say NO to a commission, I mean no. Do not assume that I’m joking and continue to pester me about it.
I have another topic to bring up with you.
Yes, I am a furry, but please understand that that doesn’t mean I’m open to any and every sort of physical contact. There are a lot of things that are reserved for my mate and mate only due to social anxieties I have.
Please ask before you do something that you think may or may not bother or offend me.

Scar on my elbow. I have leg problems in my right leg and when something heightens stress of a situation, the muscles tense in that leg, and it just gives out (ie: nervousness, stress, anything like that in excess causes it) and I decided to pounce a friend, leg gave out and hit the cobblestone. Looks more like a bruise (thats been there for months now) than a scar.

Lessons Learned.
General | Posted 16 years agoSo I learned something this past weekend.
Something wonderful actually. Where I am happiest.
As many of you know, I packed up and disappeared for four days, taking up a temporary residence in the room of LucifurFox.
There were a few speculations from friends how much fun I’d be able to have with him working most of the weekend, but speculations are just that. A speculation.
I had an amazing weekend. Everything was still there that I’ve felt every time that I’m at his side. A fantastic feeling that floats with my blood through every vein. A feeling of belonging, a feeling of pure happiness, pure joy. These feelings that I used to only feel a flicker of now are a constant when I’m at his side.
I would spend most of my time while he was at work dozing, cat napping and playing about on the internet. Because then I could be awake and attentive when he was around.
I’ve learned there’s no better wake up than then feeling of a warm hand on your back.
I’ve learned there’s no better lullaby for sleep then to be in the arms of the one you love, listening to their heart beat and their soft breathing.
There’s not better pain reliever than to just be in those arms. Hidden away from the world, being exactly where you know you’re safe and loved.
There’s no better anti-depressant that to look into the eyes of the one you love as they say those words “I love you” and to see that sparkle, to know that it’s meant.
There’s no better reassurance than just looking into those eyes, not a word needs to be said.
There’s no better self-esteem raiser then to feel their hand on your cheek, to tell you all the sweet things you find so hard to believe, but they keep saying it until you think maybe it could be true.
You know you belong at their side when you come home, look at your own empty room and just shake your head.
When you roll over in the middle of the night expecting your fingertips to feel their warm skin.
When you’re at the video store and your find yourself almost asking what they’d like to see.
When you hear mention of their name/nickname and you haven’t been paying attention to the conversation, yet that one simple word catches your attention immediately, you perk and bite your tongue as “Where” almost slips out.

Something wonderful actually. Where I am happiest.
As many of you know, I packed up and disappeared for four days, taking up a temporary residence in the room of LucifurFox.
There were a few speculations from friends how much fun I’d be able to have with him working most of the weekend, but speculations are just that. A speculation.
I had an amazing weekend. Everything was still there that I’ve felt every time that I’m at his side. A fantastic feeling that floats with my blood through every vein. A feeling of belonging, a feeling of pure happiness, pure joy. These feelings that I used to only feel a flicker of now are a constant when I’m at his side.
I would spend most of my time while he was at work dozing, cat napping and playing about on the internet. Because then I could be awake and attentive when he was around.
I’ve learned there’s no better wake up than then feeling of a warm hand on your back.
I’ve learned there’s no better lullaby for sleep then to be in the arms of the one you love, listening to their heart beat and their soft breathing.
There’s not better pain reliever than to just be in those arms. Hidden away from the world, being exactly where you know you’re safe and loved.
There’s no better anti-depressant that to look into the eyes of the one you love as they say those words “I love you” and to see that sparkle, to know that it’s meant.
There’s no better reassurance than just looking into those eyes, not a word needs to be said.
There’s no better self-esteem raiser then to feel their hand on your cheek, to tell you all the sweet things you find so hard to believe, but they keep saying it until you think maybe it could be true.
You know you belong at their side when you come home, look at your own empty room and just shake your head.
When you roll over in the middle of the night expecting your fingertips to feel their warm skin.
When you’re at the video store and your find yourself almost asking what they’d like to see.
When you hear mention of their name/nickname and you haven’t been paying attention to the conversation, yet that one simple word catches your attention immediately, you perk and bite your tongue as “Where” almost slips out.

So, I fell off the face of the Earth briefly XD
General | Posted 16 years agoHey everyone, it’s been awhile since my last little update.
I can’t really tell off the top of my head but, I’m pretty sure I haven’t been all to active once again.
No worries though. Life has been great! Just very busy. Very very busy.
This pandafox has been traveling lots, but keeping out of trouble. (For the most part.)
Don’t worry, I do plan on being much more active in the near future (that is if time permits it). And I’m not going anywhere. Just very busy.
My hours have been picking up at work. And it’s mostly during the night, a time in which I’m most active. I’m nocturnal, what can I say.
Also, my animal count has jumped up one new member to the clan. While I love my babies, this one is pretty new and exciting. I’m not used to handling reptiles, being more a rodent fan but I hope to be able to take as good of care of him as I do my own babies.
Speaking of my own babies, they’re pretty fascinated by him. Both Kink and Pie just stare at the tank XD
The count is now at six, the clan now consisting of Pie the Chinchilla, Kink the Gerbil, WiL the Guinea Pig, Honey the Dachshund, Toto the Siamese/Russian Blue cross, and the latest , but temporary member, Twiggy the Bearded Dragon.
So between work and pets, and traveling to visit friends and what not, my time is pretty eaten up.
But I do hope to be posting a bit more in the next few weeks when I manage to sit down and pull something together that I’m proud of XD.

General | Posted 16 years agoHey everyone. It would seem I’m very off and on with my appearances here and there. But it seems that for awhile I’ll be settled here at home and should be around quite a bit more.
I’ve been traveling quite a bit, not very far mind you, but enough to keep me busy. Visiting friends and figuring out alot of things and learning some difficult but necessary lessons through many conversations.
So you’ll see me a whole lot more now. It’s good to be around again.
So I’ve been to and from Otafest and the Calgary meet. Both were alot of fun but far to hot for suiting. And I’ve been to and from the zoo quite a bit.

I got to hand feed and pet a red panda. That’s right!
One of my favorite animals, and I got to be that close to it. It meant the absolute world to me.
I’ve been having a rough, very rough month and Lucifur decided to be the awesome friend that I needed and somehow managed to fanangle a meeting for me with these beautiful creatures.
They were sweethearts. The one I got to be around the most just munched grapes from my hand and licked my fingers and nuzzled against my hand. It was such an uplifting experience. It really eased and took my mind of alot of things.

As you can tell, I've REALLY revamped my front page info. Hopefully it's more useful now then the garble I had up there.
So I did end up attending Otafest. And as many of you saw, I debuted my suit which got an amazing reception. It was alot of fun even if I did get very sick from the whole adventure.
One of the funny things though is when we (We being Kin, Maestro and myself) brought her around Sherwood Park, she got even more attention! Tis a shame she will be packed away for awhile. I’ll be switching to a new partial (pretty quick , I know).
I will be attending the Calgary furmeet, along with fuzzy ferret Mr.Maestro (He’s my ride. XD I dibs out on driving for awhile. To sick.) and am looking forward to seeing alot of old faces and meeting some new.
Beyond that, I’m not sure what the rest of my plans are for the summer. It’s odd, I normally have everything planned and the only outstanding even so far seems to be Animethon.
So here’s a brief list of planned and confirmed and debating.
Animethon - Confirmed and paid for. No backing out now xD
Rainfurrest- Starting to waver a bit on this idea, some aspects make it seem a little less appealing then it had seemed originally.
Calgary Furmeet - Confirmed and paid for. I’ve got a ride and a place to stay. I’ll be there sick or not.
Edmonton Furmeet - When I know whats going on, I’ll probably be there to.
Cosplay Picnic - I’ve been invited as a vendor wtf! So still wavery on this one. I’ll have to see.
And so on and so forth. There’s more mini events then large ones but they are always good for a blast of fun.
That and I seem to be stepping outside of my comfort zone quite a bit more as of late.
Which will be good because then important barriers will be put up. And perchance I won’t feel so hurt by friends and family as much. I sense hurt feelings, but it’s time I did something for myself for once.
And really, I should get some pictures up on my own profile of my suits and partials...Just other people posting pics makes it so easy to slack off.

It’s been awhile, no?
I figured I felt the need to update the general public on the goings on with my life.
I’m doing a lot better for those of you who have been wondering. WONDERS better actually. Taking a lot of steps in the right direction, and even listening to a few furs that it’s time I be a bit selfish and do some things for myself.
Quite a bit has taken place, and it seems like the month of May got engulfed by it all.
Work has been on and off, new people getting hired, old people getting fired, some are even getting promoted. -casually stands underneath a neon arrow-.
That is right, I’m actually being interviewed for a role that comes with much more authority. I asked for it last year and it seemed to be thrown out the window, and as of today I now have an interview sometime next week. And with that being said, I apparently got a raise as well. Really hoping that goes through right away.
What else is new, hmm... Oh yes.
Dezu is getting her next body modification on the 12th of May. It’s going to be a tribal-esque fox going down my side. Depending on demand, there may be pictures. I know there seems to be quite a few furs who are coming to my town (it’s like it’s own event!)
I’ll also be debuting my suit (finally and hopefully) at Otafest this next weekend! So keep an eye out for a Dezu prancing about.
And I’ll be at the Calgary meet, though I probably won’t be in suit that much for that one. But I’m usually pretty easy to pick from a crowd.
And apparently I’m going to Rainfurrest as well.
And Animethon as well! Dezus all booked up.

Questions, Confusion, and a Lack of Understanding.
General | Posted 16 years agoThere are plenty of times in life where ones mouth remains shut and things just pent up.
There are plenty of times when ones mouth should remain shut, yet by the grace of the twenty-first century, our mouths may remain shut while those emotions that were mentioned early can flow freely from heart to fingertip, and from fingertip to the keys of a key board. In which causes said emotions to somehow make it on the world wide web for the judgmental eyes of those who use this, for the most part, useful tool which is, said inter-web.
Now, it is easy to assume after reading that little quip, you’re now sitting and scratching your head and asking yourself a series of questions.
If she knows this, then why would she do this.
Is this journal going anywhere.
And finally,
What sort of drama is she hoping to stir up.
I can answer all those questions in a quick quip before I do what I had mentioned before.
I’m doing this in hopes of useful input on every bit of personal feelings, emotions, and information that I’m about to spew forth.
It’s up to you to interpret if this journal was a waste of your time.
And I’m not looking to cause any sort of drama. I’m looking for useful input simply because, DezuKite has little in friends in her home town.
As I begin this awful tale, I’m full of shame that I’ve resorted to the internet for help, but as aforementioned, I’m very much lacking in the department of support around me. Near by and at easy access.
The closest I have is friends who are hours away from me, currently working on hard on pushing through exams and Im’ not about to burden them with this horrible information. But I suppose at the same time, it’s only a matter of hours to day tills they stumble across this anyway.
And the closest support I had is now gone, he’s seems to be done pulling out his hair to get across to me what a fool I’m being.
Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not suicidal. I’m not about to end my life. My life isn’t horrible. I don’t hate my parents/guardians. I’m not going to resort to drugs or alcohol. I’m simply just verbalizing what I wish I could call simple teenage angst. So you, as the reader, now have no obligation to continue reading if, say, you didn’t want to anymore.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve made some decisions, both good and bad, that have sent my hyper mania (for those of you who don’t know what this is, it’s a mental disorder that goes in hand with several others that I’m not about to disclose at this time which causes my system to run on over drive. It clutters my mind with several thoughts to the point that I either have to verbalize or write them down. And several times to get them fully out and ease headaches and emotional angst, I’ll write and then read.) through the roof.
And a lot of these decisions have dragged up quite a bit from my past.
What I’ve seem to have realized is that I tend to wear my heart on my left sleeve, while I try to help people with my right hand. I have a serious problem with hurting feelings, but if pinned in a corner I snap. And once I do hurt feelings, it’s as if a mirror was held up and the victims pain is reflected back to me.
I’ve lost many dear friends in the past simply helping one or another. And I made the bad decision of even dipping a paw in certain situations.
I’ve lost friends by joining the fur fandom. Yet I’ve made so many new.
It seems we’re living in a world where to give life, you must take life as well.
To give joy, you must bear sadness.
To heal, you must be wounded.
So on, and so forth.
Now to explain that mild ramble.
I lost my best friend in grade 11, saving the life of another. Yet as I pulled away from that friendship, I was able to breathe and see the world anew.
By joining the fur fandom. I lost almost every friend I had growing up. Yet several new friendships sprouted forth.
I’ve sat and taken the pain, the blame, the consequences, the emotional angst. So a friend could breathe again.
I have even let a friend take a blade to me, so they wouldn’t mar their flesh again.
Now don’t begin to point fingers and say that I’m trying to say I’m better then the world. Because I’m far from a sacrificial lamb. I’m sure you’ve all done one thing or another for someone you hold dear. I’ve just happen to be one who will clip their wings and let drastic things happen to them in order to see a smile.
Experimentation is one of my worst qualities. I’ve dabbled here and there in things I should have never touched in order for damaged people to feel they can connect with someone.
Perhaps I’ve given all I can give though. It seems everything I have has been promised away. Could it be that I’m at the point where I’m simply fooling myself? I wouldn’t doubt for a second that I’m at the point where I’m living in a delusion.
What other reason would I have for giving myself away in trust with the hope for mild affection.
What other reason could I have to put myself in a situation of absolute heartache that kills me a little more each day, bringing tears each time. Why do I let that poison continue to see through my veins.
What other reason would I have for throwing caution to the wind and traveling just to be by someone I know has sat and cried every night to hold them for the night when I know both of us would be in the deepest trouble yet if caught.
I don’t believe that I’m what has been called a Fallen Angel. But I do believe I’ve been sent here with a purpose. Some nights I question if I’m even human. How much abuse and pain can a human withstand? Can they take as much as I’ve had?
And yet I can stand up in the morning and face it all again. Take it all again. Grab at life, pull on a sweater, some jeans and step out into the world and give everything I have. From animals to people.
Am I the only one that questions if they truly are human? I just can’t comprehend if I am, and if I am how I’ve survived this long.
There has been so many times where I feel surreal.
I was a raised a therian. I have the spirit of a fox inside me. Could it be there is more to my fox and that it (be it a he or a she, or genderless) is starting to consume my human form. That its taking over me?
Or could I actually be losing my mind and have become obsessed with this notion that I’ve let it consume me.
There has been many the time that I’ve had people look at me and swear they see something more. And there is things that I know and understand that does, and there is so much about humanity that I can’t grasp.
There’s so much I have yet to learn about myself and about others. About what I am and what I’m meant to be.

And I need something to occupy my time, so I’m reopening my commission status with a whoping ten slots.

It will never fill.
I have a ridiculous amount of time on my hands.
And finally
It’s a social experiment for my own curiosity.

Sketch of up to a max of two Characters: 5$ (note me and we can probably make a deal if there are extras characters, depending on size and detail. As I said, lots of time on my hands.)
Inked: 10$ (Basically a sketch that you’re adding ink to, and no matter how many characters you’ve added to the original sketch, this is a flat rate for inked commissions.)
Single Character Colour: $15
Double Character Colour: $20
*Talk to me about additional characters being coloured. We can work something out*
Badges: 10$ (includes lamination and hole for lanyard)
Colouring adds a very basic background.

Today the world lost a sweet little soul, young Yukito. He was hardly three months old.
As many of you know, Yukito was a young semi-albino ferret that I had fallen in love with and swept away from the lonely life of a caged pet store pet. I fell in love, he was and always will be my little one.
Friday evening, my kit was just fine. A little sleepy but fine. Romping and excited with how many people showed up in my house at once.
Saturday evening he had gotten more lethargic and was drinking a large amount of water. Enough to make himself sick. Haero and I held him for a good few hours, making sure my little one didn’t make himself to ill. When we put him back in his hammock, he was still licking up spilled water from the second level of his cages floor.
It was this morning that Kin-Inu and I checked on him, he had burrowed down in his blanket on the bottom, I thought he was fine. Haero and I went in later to ensure he had adjusted to the new water dish fine and Yuktio could barely lift his head.
A rushed trip to an Emergency Vet ended with tragic results. A three hour wait had brought nothing but painful, horribly painful news. Kin-Inu, Squirrelstar, and V-R Virus had to take the news. I had broken into sobs, unable to hold my head or do much but curl as Haero held me. Yukito was gone. From what I understand, he had gotten a cancer of some sort and it had spread, ravaging his tiny body of all weight, vitamins, and water. Everything his tiny organs needed for survival. That he hadn’t stood a chance. The moment they had tried to put a catheter in, his tiny body had just given out.
Bringing my tiny one to me. I sat and stroked his fur for hours, begging for his powerful spirit to come back. Tears still haven’t ceased to stream down my face.
He will be cremated and remembered, forever a part of my life.
From the moment I met you little one, you had tugged at my heart strings and stolen my love. From the very first lick I knew you had to be mine. From the very first moment I held you so sweetly in my arms I knew you had to come home with me. That you and I were destined to be family.
There are so many memories in this small square we called a room. All the things you’ve hidden. All the cuddles we shared. I miss you so much furbaby. I miss you. All these little reminders. Every toy I’ve brushed with my foot. Every glance at your cage. It tears me apart inside. But I know you’re better now. For the short while I had you, you changed my life. You saved it. Ever time you licked and batted away a tear. Every time you wrestled my hand against your harness. Every trip to work we took. You had me at first snuggle.
Kitsu and I miss you so much furbaby. Please play safe wherever you are.
Sleep sweet, sweet Prince. For you are remembered fondly.
