Weekly Update 09/14/2025
Posted a month agoHey there, everyone. How’s it poppin’?
I admit that I’ve been slacking on providing these weekly updates lately. Part of that is due to laziness, part to sickness, and part to exhaustion. Heck, I’m rather tired at this moment because of yesterday’s work and have gotten some sunburn on my arms and neck, despite my physical work being minimal. So, I’ll do my best to explain what’s been going on.
A couple of weeks ago, my dad, sister, and I attended a homestead expo to learn how to live off the land. We attended a variety of talks that taught us, from how to grow food best and preserve it, to maintaining livestock like cows or rabbits, to even how to kill and prepare a pig. Yes, a guy brought a pig to be killed so we could learn how to prepare it for food. Honestly, it was not seeing the animal getting killed that was not disturbing, but seeing its death throes for a couple of minutes after getting shot.
It was an interesting expo all around. I admit that I couldn’t do my favorite thing for the expo and cons, which was to wander around and even pick up an odd item from the sellers. It was always nice to hang out with those guys, but my dad and sister came to learn from them. I didn’t blame them, though, since that was the entire point of coming to Arkansas: to live out on the land. I just wish we could use the time between shows to check out the shops.
Oh, well.
Speaking of living out on the land, we finally made some progress on building a house here. After several months of delay in building the concrete base, we finally completed it. With that part out of the way, yesterday my dad and I moved the metal house kit from a fellow who allowed us to set it on his land to our own. He was kind enough even to use a couple of trucks with flatbeds to take them there.
Of course, there were some issues, which were natural given that they had been sitting in place for a few years. For starters, the wide OSB box held together by chunks of lumber and iron bands was falling apart. We had to use several steel chains, all covered in rust, to ensure they stay together long enough. It was a lot of work, let me tell you. It also did not help that, while driving the roof and siding up to the property, the roofing part almost slid off the truck, thanks to part of the flat bed’s lumber buckling. It remained thanks to the thick straps keeping the load in place.
It took most of the day to get everything on the property, which meant that we could not send the forklift rental truck back in time (the place closed at noon). At least the guy who let us set the steel house kit in his place allowed the truck to remain there until Monday (the place is also closed on Sunday). Still, we were exhausted, and we still needed to assemble it.
Honestly, I wish I could do more to help out financially. The problem is that my work is still part-time, with no clear opportunity for a full-time position with the same responsibilities. As a result, my pay rate is inconsistent and thus not as reliable. I also don’t really get many donations or even patrons (heck, I LOSE more money than I GAIN from Patreon). The only time I earned a significant amount of money was through the writing drives. It’s always tough being a writer.
Speaking of writing, I’ve FINALLY begun work on The Pokémon Prometheus 3. It took around a year after I finished the outlines for this story, during which I wrote short stories and longer stories, such as Behemoth – The Beginning of the World, and so on. It also had a delay on the week when I planned to start it, thanks to a nasty cold, an inconvenient meeting at work, and not wanting to push myself. It was also the week when I attended the expo, so I only had one day out of six writing days to write it.
It was not a good week on the writing side.
That’s all I got for today. I’m tired, and I want to get back to playing Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition. I do have an extra copy of the game, though. What should I do with it?
Either way, I hope you all have a good day!

Weekly Update 03/1/2025 Birthday Edition
Posted 7 months agoHey there, everyone.
Before you ask, I know I didn’t write anything for last week. Partly so I could leave the birthday post warning in case anyone missed it. Another reason is that I’m thinking about doing more exclusive Patreon content, this one that shows more on the world-building and backstories of the Legend of the Fox’s casts. I only got one down, but I plan on writing more.
And yes, today is my birthday. Right now, I’m 33 years old. To think that years fly by faster as an adult. I also thought I might be selling novels by this point. Then again, it might be best not to rush things. Besides, I’m still catching up on the lost time.
Regardless, I’ll be sharing stuff I’ve gotten as gifts. I’m sure you’ll see or read two when you read this post. I hope that you love them just as much as I do.
On the writing side, I have two rough drafts ready for final drafts. The first one, which I intend on getting posted on Lycanroc Day on March 18th, I should be working on either today or tomorrow. As for the other story, I have no idea when I’ll finish it. It depends on outside factors.
Finally, to finish this post, here’s a story I recommend—Reaper Man by Terry Pratchett.
The Discworld is a flat planet carried by four elephants on the back of a gigantic space-turtle. It is fantasy world that acts as a reflection of our Roundworld. And there, Death is forced under retirement by Auditors of Reality for growing too attached to humans. So, he decides to spend the time he has left on the world as a hired farmer.
Meanwhile, as new personifications of Death form, the Discworld becomes wonky. Well, wonkier than usual because Death is not there to guide the decease.
Terry Pratchett was one of the great writers of our times, and I don’t say that lightly. He was a man who could write meaningful, thoughtful stories while being hilarious at the same time. And while he did not write as many stories involving Death (unironically one of my favorite characters), I feel they are among his best work.
“In the Ramtop village where they dance the real Morris dance, for example, they believe that no one is finally dead until the ripples they cause in the world die away—until the clock he wound up winds down, until the wine she made has finished its ferment, until the crop they planted is harvested. The span of someone’s life, they say, is only the core of their actual existence.”
-Reaper Man
In any case, take it easy out there!

Weekly Update 03/02/2025
Posted 7 months agoHey there, everyone.
Sorry for not updating you all last week. I under-slept last Sunday, so I was not in the right mindset to write a journal/update. I’m doing OK right now.
OK. Now for the medical update, since I know some of you are worried about it. As you can see, I’m still all right. I still have that lump in my neck, though it shrank in the past week. I also went to a doctor for it under Dad’s suggestion. Well, two doctors. The first place decided that they didn’t know what it was and gave me antibiotics. So, we went to a specialist place a week later, who injected a type of steroid in the lump. It worked, though I’ll have to put an improvised ice pack on it to help it more.
In writing news, I finally finished a new TF story after sitting on it for a while. A TF artist, Toshabi, inspires this one! I’m sure you’ve seen some of his works, which are great. I especially love the Dusk Lycanroc TF comic he did years ago. It was great, especially the last page, since the page before it acted like the finale.
I have more stories planned, like a new Conall story. For now, I should do a macro-themed story. I know I did a bunch of them. It’s Macro March, and I’m in a mood for macro goodness. I have an idea of what to write about. I hope you all will see it soon.
Next, as I am sure you know by now, March 16th is my birthday. It’s only a couple of weeks away. So, if any of you want to gift me anything, here is my Amazon wishlist. This is if you wish to get me something, however. I have no desire to force anyone to gift me anything in either art, story, or a nice product/game. Again, this is if you wish to be nice and gift me something.
I had a couple of takers last year. You know who you are, and I’m forever grateful for it.
Finally, I’ll share one of my favorite books of all time: Black and Blue Magic by Zilpha Keatley Snyder.
“You’d think that someone with a name like Harry Houdini Marco would be deft and skillful, but Harry could only occasionally catch even an easy fly ball without making some dumb error. On top of that, most of his friends’ families were moving to the suburbs. It would have been a long, dreary summer, but then a Mr. Mazeeck showed up and turned out to be more than he seemed.”
-Goodreads
While it is a children’s book, it is a much more mature story than it seems. It’s an urban fantasy type, though light on the magic part. The cast here is colorful and fun; the plot never felt like it was going too fast or too slow; and it respects the reader by not spelling things out. It showed how possibilities abound even in what seemed to be a dreary summer and how good bursts out of mistakes. I urge you all to check it out. It’s completely worth it.
Anyway, take it easy.

Weekly Update 02/16/2025
Posted 8 months agoHey there, everyone. Here’s another weekly update, with this one going everywhere instead of staying in my Patreon or Ko-Fi. There is a reason for that. It’s related to my sickness and why I didn’t post an update last week. Some of you already know what I’m talking about. I want to clarify to everyone who only got hints and whatnot.
Back sometime on the night of the 5th of February to the 6th the same night, I felt something like a needle pierce into the left side of my neck. At least, I thought I dreamed of something like that. If I had investigated further, perhaps I wouldn’t have been in the position since then. I was tired, the lights were off, and I didn’t question this ‘dream’ and that I pulled something off after that piercing.
When I woke up on the 6th, I felt miserable. And I do mean it. It felt like I suffered from a flu of some kind. After trying to stay up for half the day, I decided to lay on the couch, where I lay there. There, I drifted from sleep to wakefulness and back again. During the first two times I stood up that evening, I vomited not too long afterward. I drank Gatorade after Gatorade, so I had some fluids, salt, and sugar.
I should’ve thought more about the strange mark on my neck. Instead, I rationalized it, thinking it was nothing more than an odd-looking pimple, like how I rationalized being sick with the flu since my dad had just gone through one himself. Hindsight, as ever, is clearer than foresight. It was not until the 7th of February that I began to question the mark, especially when it took on a blackish shade.
On the 7th, I finally showed that mark to my dad, who was befuddled by it. He researched and even chatted with my aunt (a retired doctor) about it. From there, we discovered the truth of my sickness. Namely, this mark was a sign of a spider bite; specifically, it was done by a brown recluse spider.
I’m sure some of you are typing in the comments, asking if I went to the hospital, telling me to go there ASAP, and more. I understand why. For those who don’t know, a brown recluse spider carries a nasty venom that kills nearby cells. It can even cause necrosis. So, I understand the reason for your concern.
To answer those questions, I didn’t go to the hospital. At least, not yet. The reason is that there is no antivenom prescribed for that specific spider in the United States and, even if we do have one, it had passed the cutoff date. It’s a type of venom that needs antivenom to fight against it within the first several hours. So, because I didn’t check it after I got bitten, I was screwed when I opened up about it up to 30 hours later. At that stage, the only thing doctors could do is offer antibiotics.
Fortunately, my dad kept a fair amount of antibiotics just in case of these events. I’ve also been taking various medications meant to boost my immune system (like elderberry gummies). So far, I’m all right. My neck on that side of the body is no longer burning. There seems to be swelling again, so going to the hospital is not off the table. It had slowed since it began and might even go away independently. I’ll at least apply the antibiotic ointment on it so that it might recover faster. If not, well, we’ll need to shell out a lot of money for it.
Yay.
Otherwise, I’m feeling fine. The most I can complain about right now is that I have difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep, even with melatonin. It hasn’t been as bad as it was at the beginning, where it seems like a minor miracle that I didn’t end up like a sleep-deprived zombie. I even returned to work for the past couple of days and had little issues. If you still wish to help, well, here’s my Ko-Fi. I’m not begging at the moment, nor do I expect any money. This is if you wish to help in any way you can.
Again, only do it if you wish to help.
While I would usually end it by talking about works I find to be good to great or ones that I find to be overrated, this post is going much longer than it should. All I’ll say is: screw that spider for making me miss Absol Day.
And yes, we confirmed it was from a brown recluse spider. I found its dead body on the 8th.
Anyway, take it easy.

Weekly Update 01/01/2025 PLUS Year in Review 2024
Posted 9 months agoHey there, everyone!
This will be a fusion of a Patreon/Ko-Fi weekly update and a journal. If you wish to check on my weekly updates, please follow me on Patreon or Ko-Fi here: https://www.patreon.com/c/foxgamer01 https://ko-fi.com/foxgamer01
I must say that 2024 has been an interesting year for me. It has some up moments and some down moments. It was the year when my Patreon received the most support since opening it. Heck, there was a time when supporters took both of my Patreon commission slots. It was hectic, and it did not help that two of the stories are still waiting to be posted and awaiting a response, coughcough.
As a result, I devoted 2024 mainly to short stories. However, a few stretch the definition of short stories, going up to 15k words on a couple. I did not start on The Pokémon Prometheus 3 as I hoped. I have written the outline down, so I know how it will go. I also can guess how long it would be, at most 300k.
I expect it to be a massive project, taking much of the year to write the rough draft at my pace.
I’ve also written many short stories and even some novel ideas. I wrote many outlines, though I only worked on a few, thanks to devoting my time to writing commissions. I do wish to work on them, though some sooner than others. I also wish I wrote a lot more than I did, with some weeks I’ve been slacking on. I hope to make 2025 a major writing year, but there are no promises.
As for my living status, I’m still at this rental home with my family. It’s been a few years since we moved here, and we still don’t have the property built yet. My dad still hopes to get it done and even hired a guy who would make the cement base for the house. Dad set it up months ago, but the guy’s wife had to go to the hospital. It was too cold for cement when she recovered, so we are now waiting for spring.
There’s always something going wrong.
Getting back to my Patreon, I’m going to implement some changes. For starters, I’ll be closing my Patreon Commission tier (I have no one taking them, so it’s not an issue). I’m doing this to focus on working on The Pokémon Prometheus 3. Before starting on it, I’ll work on some short stories, mostly to tie some stuff off for now. I might bring it back once I finish The Pokémon Prometheus 3. I’ll have to think about it, especially since I have other major projects I want to do.
The next thing I’ll do is change my $5 tier. Instead of being a glorified tip jar, it’ll ask people to vote on either a short story or a chapter of a novel for me to work on. I’ll give those in that tier the option to vote for. It’s something that I’ve been thinking of, though I doubt it’ll disrupt the writing progress for The Pokémon Prometheus 3.
Finally, I’ll add a $10 tier to my Patreon. For that one, people on that tier could suggest voting options for those in the $5 and $10 tiers. They could suggest a specific animal TF or macro theme or even continue a particular series. It’ll have to be a series I’m interested in, however.
Yes, I have significant changes waiting for this year.
I have no writing advice for this week. Instead, I wish you all a Happy New Year. May 2025 be a better year than 2024.
Music of the week: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=np5UlZ-Ho-4
The story/series that I recommend is The Hundred and One Dalmatians by Dodie Smith https://www.amazon.com/101-Dalmatians-Dodie-Smith-ebook/dp/B002UZDTD8 https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/511614.The_101_Dalmatians

Weekly Update 12/08/2024
Posted 10 months agoHey there, everyone.
Rather than just posting this on Patreon or Ko-Fi (here are my sites if you’re curious: https://www.patreon.com/c/foxgamer01 https://ko-fi.com/foxgamer01 ), I’m posting this on all three of my art accounts. Not FurryNetwork, though. It had some troubles to the point where I gave up on it.
Yeah, this is an excuse to eliminate the old journals that have been here since March. That and give you a taste of what I’ve been doing on Patreon and Ko-Fi.
So far, the writing part is going well. I’ve completed the rough draft of my Secret Santa gift, which I’m in on a Discord server. I hope that the fellow loves the story I wrote. I might write the final draft today, but no promises. I’ll also start writing a Patreon commission story tomorrow. Speaking of Patreon commissions, I’ve finally given the green light to post a Patreon commission. It’ll be released a week early on Patreon, so if you want to read it before the public does, join my Patreon. You can support me for as little as $1 to read stories a week early and my rough drafts.
I’ve also been plotting a story’s background, which is so far a short story but might end up as a bigger story.
In other news, Christmas time is here. I’ve made an Amazon wish list for Christmas, which you can see here. Now, this is entirely optional. You don’t HAVE to send me a gift. This is something for those who WANT to send me a gift. Again, I’m not begging, urging, or demanding any gifts. If you do, I’ll be very thankful.
Again, please send me a gift only if you WANT to do it.
Now for the weekly writing advice, which will touch upon previous topics I’ve discussed. When you’re writing a story (whether it’s a short, a novel, or a series), there will be those who won’t like what you wrote. Perhaps they felt that a character was poorly written. Or they thought that the ending sucks, whether it’s too meanspirited, dark, depressing, etc. The temptation is there to write out a message to your readers, calling them fools for it.
My advice: don’t. Sure, you may feel that your readers missed the point in your character. Maybe they missed the entire tone you’re going for, which they only realized at the end and reacted badly to it. Regardless of your feelings, insulting, demeaning, or dismissing your readers for it’s not a good idea. All it would do is make it less likely for them to follow your future work since you angered them that much.
Besides, perhaps what you wrote did have that flaw; all you did was double down on it.
Have a good day, everyone!

Some Updates + Incoming Birthday
Posted a year agoHey there, everyone. How are you all doing so far? Me? Well, I had one of the worst February in a while.
For those who don’t know, February has been a sick month for me. Starting on February 6th, I had a nasty bout of a cold. I felt weak, along with blowing out a ton of snot out my nose. To explain how bad it got, I emptied the equivalent of a tissue box during the next few days and filled up two grocery bags. And here’s the thing with me and cold: even when I’m better, the cold effects still lingered on for a while.
Still, I got better by the end of that week.
And then I fell sick on Monday evening (26th). Again.
If you’re wondering, yes, this is why I’ve been slow on getting any writing done back in February. In fact, I planned from the 7th to the 10th to be significant writing days, but because I was sick, I could not get any done. And just when I got the ball rolling again, I fell into another sickness.
Forgive me for venting here. It’s just that, for days when I planned to do a massive bout of writing, something happens that cripples it or prevents it from occurring. One prominent example is where I get an odd bout of insomnia. Basically, I would fall asleep with a plan of sleeping in since work is either evening or I’m off, only for me to wake up after four hours of sleeping. And then, during the middle of the day, my mind finally demands that I take the other half of sleeping.
Before you worry, I’ve been taking Melatonin to combat it. It’s working OK, but I can’t say anything conclusive until I’m finally over all these sicknesses.
Moving on, I plan on making March my catchup month. I hope to make good progress in February, but, well, you know. As a result, I won’t be able to do a Macro March Writing Drive this year. It’s disappointing, I know. I want to do it again this year, but I just couldn’t prepare for it.
I must say, being sick as an adult really put things in perspective.
Also, for a while now, I’ve been streaming on Picarto. There’s no consistent schedule, I should add. Mostly, it’s to write down a final draft of the stories. If you want to, you can follow me there. I don’t do voice chats; the only entertainment is videos on the side. If you want to watch this dumb writer write stories, be my guest. https://picarto.tv/Foxgamer01
Or poke fun at a random typo. That happens a lot.
Another thing I’ve been doing is making a new character. I can already guess some of your thoughts here. “Hey, you already got a fair number of characters. Heck, you brought some for a fair amount. Why create a new one now?” Honestly, I wasn’t originally planning to. And then I saw this: https://twitter.com/tsitra360/status/1755458250282344576
That made me want to create an Umbreon character for myself.
I’ve been working on creating a new one. This one will be female and, in many ways, will act as a foil to Saria the Absol. It does make a fair amount of sense, especially if she is going to be Alolan A-Ninetales’s companion. If you’re curious, here are the rough details of her character. https://tinyurl.com/muas3mvn https://tinyurl.com/ydcfddpa https://tinyurl.com/ywx2zaxa
Finally, my birthday is coming soon. March 16th, to be exact. I will be 32 years old at that point. Boy, where does the time fly?
Feel free to give me a story or a picture if you guys are willing to gift me. If you feel it might be somewhat edgy, let me know, and I’ll tell you if it’s good or not. For those who want to know what I’m interested in, here are the scraps of the artwork I got over the years. I think this would help. https://www.furaffinity.net/scraps/foxgamer01/
This isn’t a demand or anything like that. In fact, I’m more used to not getting anything from online friends. This is only if you wish to be nice.
If you want to give me something for my birthday but can’t finish a story or picture on time, here is another option. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2VD0B58IUHJYE?ref_=wl_share
I should emphasize. This is ONLY if you wish to be friendly and want to gift me something, not a demand or anything like that. It won’t end the world if I don’t get a new Kindle.
That should be everything. Thank you for listening to this long-winded journal.

Story Commissions Closed
Posted a year agoHey there, everyone. Just as the journal said, I'm opening story commissions.
Unlike last time, I'm just going to open for four slots. That is because the last one is reserved for A HailFire Change 3. Yes, there will be a third one, along with a fourth one.
Here is the ToS: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9527702/
As a reminder, I did a couple of updates to the ToS, which I'll list here.
I must receive a $20 down payment before I start on a paid commission. My short stories are usually 4-5K words, so it should be fair. I have trouble getting money from commissioners (I’m far too nice), so this should make them more honest about their financials and ability to pay.
I’ll be honest when I say grammar is one of my weak points in writing. If I get fixing suggestions, I’ll be happy to receive them. If it gets super nitpicky, that’s when I’ll call it. Again, I don’t mind criticism or suggestions. If you get to that point, I’ll do my best to warn you.
OK. Here are the slots.
1.
Alephgon
2.
B424
3.
Tofubread
4.
TyVulpine
5. [reserved for A HailFire Change 3]
First come, first serve.
I hope that you all have a wonderful day!

Year in Review 2023
Posted 2 years agoI know I’m late on this one. I got lazy and had work the last couple of days. Plus, I was finishing the Frostborn book series by Jonathan Moeller. I mentioned this author before when I once recommended books to read; he was the one who wrote the Silent Order series. I also recommended the Frostborn series. It’ll be rough and episodic at first, but it improves with each book.
Plus, there aren’t enough books involving Christianity as a good force. >.|.>
In any case, what are my thoughts on 2023? To be honest, I’m still not sure. This year wasn’t as bad as the start of the 2020s. I also can’t call it good; in fact, I feel as though it’s like a frog slowly getting boiled to death. In many ways, I fear that’s what will happen for the next decade unless something drastic happens. Even then, it would likely not be a good thing.
But I’m getting ahead of myself.
Overall, I feel as though I become stagnant. It’s not as though I haven’t been pushing myself in writing since I wrote stuff that drives me. More like my various accounts’ growth has stalled with little way to kickstart the engine. Of course, I have no one else to blame but myself for the extended hiatus. I bet I would be further along if I had been consistently writing and posting stuff during that period. My Patreon account felt it, finally surpassing the $2 a month I’ve been getting since March 2022.
My family still lives in the rental home instead of at the property. The contractors are so backed up that my dad still hasn’t been on a list. He’s also been looking for a job for the last few months, though no luck yet. I hope he gets a job soon; money isn’t infinite, no matter how much Tom Fawkes tells you. In a way, that doesn’t help with the feeling of stagnation.
Work has been alright so far. Some annoying parts, though it was early last year. Much like last year, I also won the Employee of the Month for December. I find that to be hilarious and kind of sad since, even now, I still don’t feel like I’m at that quality.
Yes. I’m aware of the irony. I felt stagnant regarding my online writing side’s growth and got annoyed, yet I feel undeserving for winning Employee of the Month three out of four December. XD;
My mind is funny like that.
As for future plans, I will make some changes to my Patreon account. I believe its slow growth is because it feels unneeded. After all, people want to get early access stuff, which I haven’t been doing. In fact, I posted the final drafts on Patreon at the same time as on my regular accounts. The reason why I do so is because I feel doing early access stuff is somewhat passive-aggressive. Given that I’ve been told I have a passive-aggressive problem, it was something I wanted to avoid.
Still, if it helps get me new supporters, I’ll try it.
I’m also planning on cutting out the shorties option for my Patreon. It’s a shame since I like writing them and had plenty of practice thanks to the two writing drives. At the same time, I do want to focus on writing the usual short stories. Besides, I doubt they’ll be missed. XD
For commission work, I’m going to make a couple of changes.
One is that I must receive a $20 down payment before I start on a paid commission. My short stories are usually 4-5K words, so it should be fair. I have trouble getting money from commissioners (I’m far too nice), so this should make them more honest about their financials and ability to pay.
Another change is with the final editing. I’ll be honest when I say grammar is one of my weak points in writing. If I get fixing suggestions, I’ll be happy to receive them. If it gets super nitpicky, that’s when I’ll call it. Again, I don’t mind criticism or suggestions. If you get to that point, I’ll do my best to warn you all.
Then again, I’m a super nice guy. XD;
That’s basically it. I hope the property gets built this year, even if it means leaving the store I work in. I hope my dad gets a job, even if it means I do the cooking. I hope my accounts get a considerable boost for this year. And I hope that you all have a wonderful year.
P.S.
To those on Twitter/X who didn’t see me post something for #MacroMonday or #TFTuesday, this is what I have to say. I basically ran out of material. XD
As a result, I’m not doing that this year. I hope you all don’t mind.

Happy Halloween + Macro Writing Drive
Posted 2 years agoHey there. Happy late Halloween. Or Howlween. I hope that you all had a lot of fun.
Still, that is not the main point of this journal. The main point is that I am doing another Macro Writing Drive. This time, it’s:
Macro March Adventure with A-Ninetales!!!
This time, I am going to do something a little different. While it will still count for Twitter/X and Blue Sky (also, I have a Blue Sky account and three invite codes), I will also post each part here. Outside of today, each part will be posted on the fifth, tenth, fifteenth, etc. Each one will show him growing. By how much is what you, the viewers, can decide.
The premise of this Macro Writing Drive is that A-Ninetales has worn himself down, though he tries to hide it. So, Saria recruits Glaurung and Glorfindel to help him relax through the one thing he loves most: growing. Glorfindel helps hide them while Glaurung brings Flame Orbs made to explode upon A-Ninetales touching them.
Much like the last writing drive, this one will have A-Ninetales’s starting growth to be 500 feet. For every like, he will gain 10 feet; for every repost, he will gain 20 feet; for every dollar, he will gain 100 feet. Starting on the tenth, it will work under the multiplication table, with him growing at least double his previous height. For every like, it will add .1; for every repost, it will add .5; and for every dollar, it will add 1.
As for why I am doing this now, well, it is pretty simple. While the last Macro Writing Drive ended with me donating the money to CancerCare, this one will be more selfish. Truth be told, my writing laptop has been struggling lately. Updates take hours to complete; when it is updating, everything goes sluggish, and it may get sluggish when turning on, forcing me to reset it multiple times. So, I am planning on getting a replacement one. It does not need to be powerful; it just needs to work well enough to write.
Much like last time, I do not expect to get much (heck, I am still surprised by how much I did get). Still, I hope it will be just as fun as last time. I know that money is tight for various reasons. Just know that, with every dollar everyone donates, I will get closer to a new writing laptop and, thus a new writing experience.
Thank you all for listening to this dumb guy’s talking.
Here are the donation links.

Future of this Site
Posted 2 years agoI am sure that you all know what I am talking about here: The new rules that will be implemented by tomorrow.
Personally, I believe I am on the 'safer' side of things, at least on this account (and maybe on this account:
The_Amazing_Foxball ). I rarely get or do NSFW content, particularly on the sexual side (outside of a couple of accidents). So, I should be OK.
On the other hand, I do not know what they will flag and what they will not. So, in case something bad happened, here are where I am active at the moment.
DA: https://www.deviantart.com/foxgamer01 (Yes, I still use DA. Silly, I know)
Weasyl: https://www.weasyl.com/~foxgamer01 (Not a whole lot of traffic there, but it is fine)
FurryNetwork: https://furrynetwork.com/foxgamer01/ (. . . OK. I do not know why I am still there. I barely get any traffic there)
Twitter: https://twitter.com/foxgamer01 (Yes, I still use Twatter)
If you have any advice or other accounts that I should try, please do so.

Q&A
Posted 2 years agoI know I am a bit late in posting this. And by a bit, I mean I planned on posting at least two hours after Prologue. I admit that I got lazy.
In any case, here is where you can ask me questions. While I like the main focus to be on Once Upon a Time in England and The Werewolf Connection, I am opening this for everything regarding my stories and characters. I do have a couple of rules, however.
One is no sexual-related questions. Even after entering my thirties, I am still shy about it and still have my filters up. If you like it, that is fine. I am just one of those guys who does not like seeing people nude (yet thinks big-breasted people are OK). The most you guys can ask about is shipping-related stuff.
Two is regarding spoilers, which will be a tricky one. To explain, I am willing to share spoilers, particularly those on projects that went nowhere or so off the writing table that it could take years until I write them, if that. I admit that my ‘saga,’ The Legend of the Fox, is way too ambitious for one guy to do. Heck, much of the current stuff I am writing involving Daren Crevan and the others these days is in the third arc, which I dub ‘He’s Counting Down.’ So, I am willing to share plans regarding my saga. Just know that I will not share spoilers for some of the projects I am certain to write (The Pokémon Prometheus 3).
Those are the rules. I may add more, but that depends on the questions I will get.
In any case, ask away!

Story Commissions Closed and Important Update
Posted 2 years agoMusic for the Day
Hey there, everyone. Once again, I am opening for story commissions. However, I had not intended it to be near the day I last opened. That last story (which I had not posted yet by the posting of this journal) took longer than I expected to write.
In any case, much like last time, I am opening for five slots.
My ToS: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9527702/
My prices are $10 per 1,000 words until it reaches 5,000 words, which will be $5 per 1,000 words onward.

3.

5.

This is first come, first serve. Also, while I have written longer short stories for the last few times, I wish for a more reasonable length of around 5,000 words since I want to get through them faster.
Next, here is an important update.
The story, The Werewolf Connection, has finally finished the editor review. Thus, after reviewing everything, that story and Once Upon a Time in England will begin posting tomorrow. The current plan is that, at around 10 AM CDT, I will post Once Upon a Time in England, and around 10 PM CDT, I will post The Werewolf Connection. The exception will be Thursday, May 25th, at 11 AM and PM instead. I hope you guys will enjoy those stories.
The editors are:
Mdowns2 for Once Upon a Time in England.
Justtrans4mme for The Werewolf Connection.
I hope you guys have a wonderful day.

Macro March Drive
Posted 2 years agoMusic for the Day
For Macro March, I decided to do something a little special. It's:
Macro March Adventure with Daren Crevan!!!
https://twitter.com/foxgamer01/stat.....53625135505409
For March, I’ll do a Macro March donation drive involving Daren Crevan on Twatter. Here’s how it’ll go.
Each Friday, including this Friday, I’ll write a new part for the growth drive depending on how much he grows. How much? That’ll depend on how much support I’ll get for this event. That doesn’t mean that it won’t go for silly sizes.
The potion, under normal circumstances, will grow him up to 500 feet tall for the first spurt the coming Friday. But YOU, the reader, can add to how much he grows. For every like, he gains ten feet; for every retweet, he gains twenty feet; and for every dollar donated, he gains a hundred feet. I do apologize if that seems much and I don’t sound faithful in its success. I wish for a strong start and a way to combine all parts into one story (abet a silly one). Plus, it’s only a few days, and I doubt it’ll gain that much support quickly.
After this Friday, I’ll change it into a multiplication system since there’ll be more time to gain traction afterward. Under normal circumstances, Daren will double in height, but YOU, the reader, can still add on how much he grows. For every like, it increases by .1; for every retweet, it increases by .5; and for every dollar donated, it’ll increase by 1 (e.g., five likes, one retweet, and two dollars will multiply his size by x5).
On the 17th, that’ll be when the side effect of the potion takes effect. What side effects? That, I’ll let YOU, the reader will decide. Once that part gets posted, I’ll upload a poll where you’ll vote on what he’ll transform into. What? You expect me, a TF writer, to NOT write something involving TF in it?
I hope to receive plenty of support over it! If not, I’ll at least have a lot of fun!

Help and Suggestions Please
Posted 2 years agoMusic of the Day
This will be a more severe and personal journal that I want advice on. It goes beyond the future of my accounts here and elsewhere; to when I start my career as an author. I've been thinking about it as of late, primarily after I've written (but not yet posted at the time of this journal posting) Once Upon a Time in England and The Werewolf Connection.
Point one: Editorial help.
I don't just mean the kind of help where they check for misspellings and grammar corrections. I mean the kind where they check the prose and see if it flows well, if the word choice is clunky, etc. That's the type of help I want since, by my admittance, I'm not always a good wordsmith. My word choice can be dry, clunky, and incorrect, something I'm aware of and wish to seek assistance with.
At this time, my 'editor,' if you can call him that, is my dad. Yes, my dad reads and help fix the story I've written (though not all of them, especially the more over-the-top kind of stories), which I appreciate. However, I'm also aware that he won't always be around for me, and I don't want to put too much pressure on him, especially since he's been planning to construct a new home here.
So, my concern is finding an editor, perhaps even hiring one, to help me with my writing. I'm willing to offer payment for their services, maybe not for the short stories commissions, but definitely for the larger ones like the stories I've mentioned above. So, if anyone here can offer their services or point me to someone who does this stuff, please do so.
Point two: Growing the accounts.
While my watch counts have been ticking up, I feel it's been stagnant for some time. Of course, part of that is because I haven't been posting much for a while (partly because I've been waiting for certain people to read my stories before posting them, partly because I've been waiting for them to be edited), which I hope to improve upon in this new year. The new writing system I have shown that I write faster than before, which I'm pleased with.
At the same time, I feel bothered by the lack of progress on how much the accounts have grown, though I'm not just talking about here. I'm talking about Patreon and Ko-Fi. Yet, despite everything, my two most essential accounts have been dead and, despite my efforts to promote and update them, have remained dead. It's to the point where I wondered if I should kill them since if they will not gain the support they need, why keep them?
Despite that, I like to hear advice on how to grow both of them so that they have the support they need. I'm doing something wrong here, and I don't know what to do to make it right. For example, should I make my Patreon commissions cheaper? Should I forgo shortie commissions? Should I make it into a scrap note tip jar? Should I make more weekly Twitter posts about them? Should I make more posts in general? Maybe previews?
Any advice you give, I'll listen to them.

Year in Review 2022
Posted 3 years agoMusic of the day: The Weight of Life
Another year is over, and a new one will begin shortly for me. So, what do I think of the year?
It has its ups and downs.
On the downside, moving here from Arizona was stressful. Heck, on the very first stage of the journey, I accidentally overheated the car engine because of the steep path and overworking it. But at least I learned about it and avoided the same mistake. Plus, having to leave a bunch of stuff that I want to keep or forgot about hurts, not to mention leaving behind so many memories.
On the health since, it wasn’t too great either. Even as I type this, I’m suffering from a cold (though at least I’m getting over it even though I still have to call out work again). The new environment does that, especially since it’s colder than I’m used to (it doesn’t snow where I live in Arizona). I do hope that my body will adapt to the environment.
As for some plans, some didn’t work out as my family had hoped. My dad was hoping that, over the summer, we could get some contractors to build a house in the land he purchased. However, because so many have the same plan and even have homes built before selling them, my dad wasn’t even able to end up on the list; at most, a physical review of the land. It doesn’t help that several pieces for the property (namely the house exterior and the solar panels) came before the house was built, so they’re taking up space. Hopefully, it’ll be done next year. Hopefully.
Another thing that I’m disappointed about is the lack of growth in Patreon since, after opening up Patreon commission slots and having someone have it for a few months before dropping out, there haven’t been any new Patreon supporters there. Part of me even wonders if it’s even worth having a Patreon account or not. Of course, it doesn’t help that the string of journals that I did at my dad’s suggestion didn’t help with any of my accounts’ growth and that I decided to drop doing them. Besides, I’m here to entertain, not talk or rant people’s ears out.
On the positive side, I’ve done much more writing than ever before. I used to write in a notebook before typing my story on a computer while revisioning them, but I find that typing it down and retyping it is much faster. The two stories I’ve been working on are comparable to The Pokémon Prometheus 2 in combined length. If it wasn’t for this cold and another real-life event (to explain in brief, the license plate on the car got so worn out that I got pulled over by the police back on November 26th; no ticket, just a warning that I should get a new one and a new driver license for the Arkansas state. While I eventually got a new driver’s license, the plate is still pending for a few reasons: 1) the car is still registered in my deceased grandparents’ names, and my dad couldn’t get it to change before the move, 2) the original certificate got water destroyed long ago, and we need a new one before it can get sold to me, 3) despite the court battle over the grandparents’ property and such, they demanded death certificates for both of them before recognizing my dad as one of the executors of their estate, 4) they also demand my dad’s birth certificate as proof that he is their son, and 5) my dad was born in California, which has notoriously long waiting time before they ship out the birth certificate. Needless to say, I haven’t been driving to the library that much because of that), I would’ve finished them by now. Not to mention that there are a couple of stories I've done and haven't posted yet because some people haven't been reading and giving me their thoughts about them. Still, I hope you all will like them, especially the werewolf one. Though maybe the shark one will interest you folks as well.
Another positive is that, since transferring to this Home Depot, the employees there have liked having me. In fact, for the second time in my life, I’ve been given the Employee of the Month reward. I haven’t been boastful about my achievements, if only because I’m all too aware of my flaws and screwups, and I don’t like boasting stuff like that. It doesn’t help that, sometimes, I wonder if I deserve all of these awards.
Plus, despite the stressful changes in my life, it looks beautiful here. Though there have been unwelcome pests (like the Asian lady beetles in this room before killing them all), there is so much greenery that it doesn’t matter. And the people here have been friendly. I believe that I’ll enjoy living here once the property gets built.
It feels like I have so much to say, but I don’t want to ramble all of your ears out. So, instead, I’ll share some of my gaming experiences with you. Like Vampire Survivors, an awesome game you should all check out. Pokémon Legends: Arceus is also a good one, and while I haven’t got too far into Pokémon Scarlet, I’m enjoying it. I also love Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and while I haven’t touched Splatoon 3 that much, I’ve also enjoyed what little I’ve played it (it helps that I’m so sneaky and ignorable, allowing me to raid the other side with ease).
So, here’s to 2023 and though I doubt it’ll get better, let’s hope it’ll be an improvement over 2022! Especially since my New Year’s Resolution is to improve my writing.

Major Update
Posted 3 years agoMusic for the Day
If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been making a journal once a day for nearly a month until it was broken back on Sunday. I’ve been doing it under the advice of my dad, who suggested that having a journal once a day would help bring in more readers. It’s hard to tell if it does bring in new readers or not since it’s still too early to say, but at least it kept my writing polished.
As for the sudden break, do you folks remember the move I mentioned in a few journals? Long story short, it finally happened. I’m typing this in the room that I’ll be living in until at least September, which is when dad hopes the new house will be built by then. Of course, not everything was brought from my home, such as one of my drawers, since there was limited space in the trailer, and it would rain by the time we got there. In fact, it’s somewhat sprinkling now. But I mainly brought what I wanted from my old home.
It honestly feels strange moving out of a house for the first time. I thought it would involve getting a job with a pay enough to sustain me and a home, but I find that the economy in recent decades no longer favors that kind of tactic. Honestly, it’s a shame since I do wish to spread my wings out (figuratively speaking) and live independently, yet due to one reason or another, I cannot. Heck, because of legal issues that I alluded to, I cannot legally claim the old home since they belong to my three elder sisters due to them being of age when mom died.
But don’t worry about me. I’ll manage one way or another.
Part of me wants to give a detailed breakdown of how we got from Arizona to Arkansas since that was quite an adventure. Yet, I don’t want to make this journal too long like a couple of them, and I’m not sure if you folks are interested. If you are, let me know, and I’ll make a journal about it tomorrow. Otherwise, it’ll be some kind of random stuff, like how I began writing once more after taking a break to focus on the move.
Books That I Recommend: Iron Hand
Posted 3 years agoMusic for the Day
I will freely admit that much of my influences in writing came from older books decades past. Because of that, I will also admit that I don’t read many modern books these days. It isn’t because I think older is better, because that is just as often false as it is true, but because I tend to follow what my dad suggests that I read, and he reads a lot of older books. Because of that, I will offer a book and, to an extent, a series written within the last five years to read.
Silent Order: Iron Hand by Jonathan Moeller
In the future (as in hundreds of thousands of years into the future), humanity joined with extraterrestrials in space, and at least five human empires have risen and fallen during the time. In the ashes of the old fifth empire, two interstellar nations are locked in a war, cold or hot: the Kingdom of Calaskar and Final Consciousness. The Final Consciousness, an expansionist and collective hive mind of humanity, has been conquering various human nations, sometimes as a fuel source and others as agents, but always as some kind of slaves. Yet, the Kingdom of Calaskar has proven itself to be the most resistant to its propaganda and warfare.
Even as it locks into a cold war between the two nations, it is still fought in the shadows between their agents. One such agent is the Kingdom of Calaskar’s Jack March, an agent of the Silent Order. March, a former Iron Hand agent and slave of the Final Consciousness, has freed himself more than a decade ago and has since worked for the Silent Order as their alpha operative under the guise of a privateer. And after an attack by a Final Consciousness agent, March was sent on a mission to the very edge of the Kingdom of Calaskar’s territory, an old space station, to rescue the twin siblings of a noble.
And there, the plot deepens.
While I wouldn’t say that Moeller isn’t the most excellent science fiction writer, especially since he is more versed in fantasy writings, it is still a well-done job. The biggest gripe I have with it and all of Moeller’s writings is that they aren’t as polished as they could have been. But, of course, when you pump out a book a month (the dude has written over 250 books within the last decade), some things do end up unpolished.
There are currently ten books in the Silent Order series, and it is still ongoing. Plus, the first book is free on any kind of ebook. So if you like science fiction, I suggest that you read the series or at least the first one.

Writing Advice: Discuss Your Ideas and Plans
Posted 3 years agoMusic for the Day
It may be a simple one, but it’s one that I personally found to be invaluable. After all, as I said in a previous journal, I am not a perfect guy. I have a lot of flaws in my personality and my thoughts, though I do my best to work them out. Because of that, I can be blind to the writing flaws, whether it’s grammar (as if that ever happens to me *ahem*), story structure, and even the plot itself, until it’s pointed out to me.
In fact, when you let yourself be immune to criticism, you’ll often find yourself growing worse and worse since no one is helping you spot your flaws. After all, writers who get immunity from editors find themselves falling flat with their next project for that reason. Usually. And while it’s well known that editors, publishers, producers, etc., would destroy a piece of work a writer did, it’s just as often, if not more often, that a writer would produce terrible stuff without their help. So, in short, it should be a team effort rather than one is more important than the other. After all, the golden age of science fiction was the way it was because of editors helping to build up writers and their works to be the best they can be and writers learning from the experience.
An excellent thing that fellow writers should do is discuss stories, plans, ideas, and whatnot when appropriate. Through bouncing ideas with each other, the flaws in a story can be ground away in time. And though you may not always be happy with the results, or you find the group or person you’re discussing your story with not understanding it, it’s always best to understand and listen instead of dismissing it offhand.

A Delay in Plans
Posted 3 years agoMusic for the Day
There has been a slight delay in the moving plan. In a previous journal, the move was initially supposed to happen on Friday, April 15. But my dad and I weren’t feeling all too well, and it took us until midday until we felt well enough to work on the heavy stuff. As such, dad decided to reschedule the move to Saturday, April 16.
It’s not that bad. Besides, it’ll be on a Thursday when work starts next week, so there is plenty of time. I am somewhat disappointed in myself for not feeling as well as I should have on this day, but that’s nothing that I can fix without rest. Besides, I’ll be doing the longest drive in my life so far. Even with a decent car like I have, my feet will be killing me by the end, so I need all the strength that I can get.
As for the house renovation update, they have set up the new base cement with rebars sticking up on top. I’m sure that, in the coming days, they’ll be stacking the blocks up, though it’ll have to be until the cement is cured. So far, nothing has changed on the inside, though I’m sure that will change as soon as we leave.
Pray for my family that we’ll move out well, and wish us luck.

Self-Reflection: Personal Flaws
Posted 3 years agoMusic for the Day
I will not deny that I have a lot of flaws. After all, plenty of people called me out on many occasions. So, for example, I can act salty when I lose a game or get screwed over, often to sore loser territory. And while there are videos where this is entertaining, I will admit that I am not one of them. In fact, I believe that’s a massive part of why I don’t get invited to play games with others anymore. And to be honest, that’s fair, even if I have been working on curving my wrath and such. After all, losing is a part of life.
I will also admit that I do have some envious issues. Specifically, when I witness whenever someone in a group gets preferential treatment. I know that it’s childish of me. After all, the world doesn’t revolve around me, and I don’t know what this person did that let them gain such treatment in the first place. Perhaps they were super generous and helpful, or they were that charismatic. Regardless of the reason, I know it’s wrong, so I do my best to prevent myself from expressing it, though it does leak out as jokes and sarcasm.
I also felt that when it comes to people working together on a commission, artwork, or story. I confess that I hate it when I feel cut out from a group, and to see people joining up around me rather than with me felt disheartening. Really, it felt like people joined up with me out of pity rather than a desire to collaborate. But regardless, I shouldn’t feel any resentment since those people create fantastic stuff that I can only dream of.
Another issue I have, which I touched upon, is resentment. I cannot help but be upset whenever I do my best to work, whether it’s an artwork I commission or stories I write or planned to write, only to be brushed aside as meaningless. Even worse if I get called ungrateful and claim that I don’t join in the middle. This isn’t to say that my feelings weren’t unjustified all the time. But, at the same time, I should know better that, as I said before, it’s not about me and no one should devote their time, money, or work just because I was friendly or am planning a nice thing.
And finally, I feel upset whenever people decide to vent their issues in a stream chat. It’s not the venting that I’m upset about; after all, it would be hypocritical of me to complain about such when I have been using my journal as a vent post these days. It’s that there is an impression of a double standard. Namely, others can complain about their lives, the people they deal with, and such, yet I’m often told to shut up about my issues in the same chat if they are addressed. Again, I know that it’s not about me, and I should never make it so, yet I feel like I have to bottle up my feelings, thoughts, and interests in such places while others have that freedom. I know why that happens; there are specific nuances that I don’t fully understand, and not everyone follows the same topics I do. And to be a part of that chat, I need to set aside my interests and join up with theirs, even if it means bottling up my vents.
I have many more flaws, but I don’t wish to make this journal too long. I only wish that I, with God’s help, can improve upon them in time.

Move Date Is Decided
Posted 3 years agoMusic for the Day
I have confirmation on when everyone in this house is moving. Friday, April 15, is the starting date. We will be getting to the rental place in Arkansas on Sunday, April 17. We have already moved one of the big wooden boxes and wood cutting tools into the trailer, so that’s one of the heaviest jobs done.
I’ll be honest. Even after having a few extra weeks on this move, I’m still stressed out over it. It’ll be a completely different place than what I’m used to. Not to mention colder since it snows and, as someone who has lived in a desert until that point, it’s very different. Still, I’ll deal with it.
Already, the new homeowners have made multiple changes to the house, specifically the backyard. Much of the ground and grass have been uprooted, making it like a mini-dust storm. The wooden and chain-link fences are also removed, with the stone underneath them ripped off the ground. Soon, they’ll put up a new stone wall, put in fake grass, and set up gravel stones around it. Not to mention finally replaced that leaky pipe there.
It’s different, looking outside, I mean. So much has changed, even before you consider the renovations. There were a pair of massive shrubberies, one with purplish flowers and the other with orange buds, which died out as the years went by. There were also a bunch of grape plants on the chain-link fence, a peach tree that lasted a few years, and an early attempt at a veggie garden on the right side of the house. I remember a mini playground set back there, and when it broke, it was replaced by a giant trampoline. So much fun, hopping on that trampoline up until I became an adult, though I doubt that anyone would think of using a golf club while jumping on it safe, even if I was the only one there.
Where has all that time gone? Regardless, it’s best not to reminisce too much about the past. Instead, it’s best to keep moving forward.

Been Playing AC:NH
Posted 3 years agoMusic for the Day
As the title says, I’ve been playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons for a couple of years now. I play it almost daily now, with only a few missed days since I started. And, if I’m going to be honest with you all, I’ve been feeling burnt out on playing it.
As an autistic guy, it’s challenging to keep my interest high. If I was in the classroom, I would be looking at the glass window because it’s hard for me to keep my focus, especially if it’s on a dry topic or talked about dryly. But, if it’s something that I’m passionate about and told interestingly, I would be sinking my hours into it. I’m nearly a hundred hours on Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and I don’t feel as fatigued.
But if it becomes a chore, a routine, then it becomes increasingly more challenging for me to do it unless needed. And video games are a luxury, not a necessity. Plus, if I have a backlog of stuff that I do want to do, that I want to play, then my ability to keep playing on it becomes even more difficult.
It’s a problem that I foresaw when I purchased this game. It’s why I brought it as a digital download instead of a physical copy since it’s easier to swap between games. Heck, as beloved as Animal Crossing: New Leaf was, I couldn’t get into it because I got a physical copy. That and I play it on evenings/nights when all the stores are closed.
I don’t think of it as an empty game, though that’s because it’s my first proper Animal Crossing game that I haven’t dropped after a few hours or so. So I have no reference to how packed the previous games were. And I enjoyed the villagers I got (Bones, Buck, Elise, Huck, Knox, Midge, Nibbles, Peaches, Tammy, and Winnie) to the point that I haven’t traded or allowed a villager to leave.
At the same time, I cannot deny that I’m burning out on the game and that I’ll need to stop playing it. As such, I have a personal vow. At the very least, I will get all of the remaining paintings/statues from Redd. Here is the link for everything that I still need from Redd. https://www.dropbox.com/s/go49k3h6kzjxby8/Redd%20Arts.txt?dl=0
I don’t have every bug, fish, or deep-sea creature, but I’m not as concerned about getting them. I’m also confident that I don’t have every DIY recipe, which I’m also not worried about. All I wish for is to get every last painting and statue. I’m just hoping to get them within the next few months.
So, wish me luck!

General Updates

The first thing to get out of the way. My dad managed to get back home after his trip to California. To explain, he went there to visit some relatives and to receive some wood cutting machines. Given that we’ll likely be cutting a lot of wood in the progress of making some cabins, it makes sense to get them while we still can
As for myself, I’m doing OK for the most part. Still stressed since we should be making the final move sometime this week. At least, I hope so. There is still a lot to go over, pack and repack, and whatnot. Plus, while I have done a fair amount of driving, this will be a first where I’ll be driving for several hours at least per day. While I don’t think of myself as a terrible driver, it is still a long way to go, and I’m hoping that I wouldn’t be too sore from the trip. And before you ask, my car does have cruise control, but it doesn’t do well in the heat.
In other news, I brought a case that can be used to make an internal hard drive into an external hard drive. That way, I can check to make sure that both HDD and SDD are alright, and they seem to be. The tricky part is accessing the users since it gives me endless loading. Plus, it seemed to really drain the laptop battery. At least, I think so. Even after disconnecting it, the battery was still getting drained until it was under 2/3rd full before it started to charge up again. I may try again later and hopefully find a way to access the user’s data.
Regardless, I hope that your month is going well for you.
