I acquired the name 'foxkin' back in 2005ish, and it wasn't even a name I came up with lol

Skipsy is something I came up with in 2008 when I made a typo of Skippy peanut butter. Not the most exciting origin story but whatever lol, just realized I can change my display name on FA though :>

Created a simple raw content dump to post whatever! Mostly finished art, WIP's, screenshots, technical stuff, informational posts and whatever else that I can't exactly post to FA or Twitter~

Today is my FA accounts 15 year anniversary! I don't have much to say other than it's been an interesting 15 years!

Started with photography in my late teens, that was my goal in life at the time with something to get good at. Then just 3 years later I decided to try my hand at digital artwork, used some birthday money to buy a tablet on my 20th birthday, and right in the new year of 2010 started my first drawings. 2020 rolls around and I haven't stopped drawing, been making a living off of it by this point! Now in the 2020s I'm 3D modelling and selling models for VR games and doing animations, it's all been an interesting ride, and here's to more!

I am obviously aware of what happened my old and dead deviantart account. Since I haven't looked at it or signed into it in over 4 years, I decided it was easier to recover the password and just delete the account. Thanks for all your concerns, sorry if just deleting the account left whatever the hacker uploaded in your submissions, I thought deleting the account would remove any new submissions!

I am aware of the user taking, poorly editing and uploading my drawing. I cannot address every note I've received in the last few hours so I am saying thank you to all of you who notified me once again here.

I have a previous ticket with the moderation staff that I will be re-opening to take appropriate action against this user.

I'll be at FC2020 next week! Uhh...not much else to say, other than I'll be there haha, I'll post my badge once I make one so you can look out for it!

I love doing commissions, being able to live off what I love doing is something I've always dreamed of!

Though unfortunately despite being able to get a queue done in a relatively short time, they aren't that viable and savings are basically nonexistent. I would love to keep working on commissions as my primary source of income, so I feel like I might be due for a small price adjustment. Nothing drastic, but likely a 10-15% increase, just so I can hopefully start building a positive income!

Just announcing that I've finally opened my Patreon page after holding onto the account for nearly 2 years.

I was hesitant to open one because I'm not really a paywall type person, but I figured it could be more of a tip jar type setup! A few small perks will exist however, little things like original res images, sketches, process videos, wallpaper versions possibly!

I don't have much to give specifically for Patreon now, but it'll be a side-by-side posting location with a donation option with the intention of eventually hopefully having enough patrons to be able to do more personal and fan art works that patrons can suggest through polls and whatnot.

Kidding! But there isn't much I have on my plate for this year. I've been slowly getting my car back to highway worthy status, all that's left is to replace an outer tie-rod end and subsequently get an alignment done. I look forward to taking my car out of the city after nearly a year of just being stuck to city driving!

In just a few months I'll be attending my local convention Fur-Eh and have a table setup to sell some stuff! If you're planning on attending come check out the table I'm sharing with my roommate :3

I may be going to the somewhat local furry camping trip later this summer as well. I can't plan too many trips/events because my commission income is basically just enough to cover bills and general living without much saving, but at least I'm enjoying it!

I think I'm also going to start dabbling more frequently into 3D modelling work, my regular hang out crowd is mostly 3D artists, animators and developers, so I have access to plenty of specific knowledge if I ever need it. I'd feel pretty confident in giving it another shot! Hopefully I can keep this idea going and have something to show for it in the coming months <3

Hey, some of you might know that my car was stolen earlier in 2018 and I haven't been able to afford the repairs insurance refused, there's more details in the link but I figured I'd share it here too:

UPDATE: The entire amount was e-transferred to my bank account by a very generous person, so the gofundme is closed, much thanks is to be had <3

To catch you guys up to present day over the last 32 days:

-Car/phone/wallet were stolen in May
-Car was recovered and is at dealership getting repairs
-Got refunded for fraud charges on my credit cards soon after
-Car is still at dealership after 32 days, and will still be for another 7-10 business days
-Rental car got a cracked windshield while I had it, so I have to pay out of pocket for a new window.
-I’m moving in July and have all those expenses
This is probably gonna be my most expensive summer ever. lol

This brings us to today. The power went out while drawing, and while I have a UPS, it’s battery is old and didn’t hold a charge to keep things on. Which unfortunately seems to have killed my Cintiq’s pen input. After a lot of testing on multiple PC’s, it doesn’t seem like it’s coming back, RIP Cintiq 2012-2018. So I guess I’m looking for a Cintiq alternative, I currently have a 21UX, so keeping things in the 18″ to 22″ range would be preferred, but I don’t have the money for another Wacom. lol

Hey, just making a quick post to keep you guys in the loop!

Last weekend I went swimming with some friends at a leisure center, and when I came out I saw my locker was broken into. They had stolen my wallet, brand new phone, car keys and even my watch and clothes. So I went outside to check and they took my car as well. I’ll write some good news/bad news bullet points:

Good news:

-The car was recovered the next day and in relatively good shape, across the street and behind a building from where it was stolen.
-Insurance covers everything with the car for new keys/locks, to any damage and hopefully an interior detailing.
-My wallet was recovered a few days later with everything except gift cards and cash of course.
-My phone was also recovered with my wallet in another stolen car by police.
-This hopefully means identity theft is a lesser worry now, but I still have to take precautions.

Bad news:

-There’s damage inside the car where the guy destroyed the e-brake handle.
-I had to change locks at my apartment because keys weren't recovered and the thief had my address from my ID.
-My credit and debit cards were both used for about $350 worth of purchases (but good news is I get refunded by the bank theft protection)
-The phone has factory reset protection on and it’s refusing to accept my PIN, account or phone number so I have to try and work with google to get it working again.
-Again the gift cards and cash were stolen, maybe $120 worth.
-My clothes are still missing with my only good pair of shorts :v
-My $15 walmart watch wasn’t recovered, but I couldn’t care less lol

There is video of the car theft, unfortunately it’s an open investigation so I can’t share anything I have, but I have insight into what happened. The guy stole my car, didn’t realise my e-brake was on, likely panicked and pulled too hard on the handle breaking the release tab, so he drove at less than 5mph for about 800 feet dragging the back wheels and then ditched the car, so at least it wasn’t driven through fields or used in crimes.

I'll be picking 4 from the submitted list tonight! If you don't hear from me by tomorrow it probably means I had to make the tough decision to skip you this time. You can try again next time I open another set! <3

It's been a little while coming, but I made it to 5000 followers last night, yay!

My job's busy season is about to pick up soon, so that means I'll be out of town for a month or two at a time until later in the fall. Which of course means art is gonna drop off for long stretches at a time, but I'll do what I can between projects at work. :)

I believe I’ll be able to open commissions this Friday!

There will be some changes to the commission process, instead of a first come first serve basis, it’ll be a random name selection process from a list. I’ll update the commission sheet for the opening. Thanks to some advice from regular commissioners I think it could be a bit more of a fair process for people from different time zones.
