Absence and Updates
Posted 9 years agoI've kind of disappeared for a bit and I'm so sorry!
Art has not stopped on my end. I've gotten some work into a gallery show, done a festival teaching people to use printing presses, entered a couple of more shows that I haven't heard back from yet, and have been working diligently at a letterpress lab organizing all of their picture cuts (if you don't know what a letterpress lab is, think posters done old school).
I've made some nice little pen and ink drawings of some desert animals for a series I'm doing and I've completely fell in love with kangaroo rats. I mean their legs and eyes, YES. That's all I've been doodling.
I intend to mess around with making some printing plates myself and creating a couple images of my favorite animals.
Also! Once I get a little bit better pictures of things I've made I'm going to be posting those up soon.
Can you believe that Arizona Furcon is coming up so much sooner?! I'm so excited I might piss myself! Definitely send me a message if you intend to go!

Life Update
Posted 9 years agoSchool starts back up soon and this will (hopefully) be my last semester.
My schedule is packed beyond normal this time around and as of the 13th all commissions will be closed until school ends and graduation is complete! I can't wait to really be working and living off of my art and I can't wait to complete my illustration degree.
My work is going to be more focused on plumping up my portfolio for the time being. That's not to say that furry art will stop. I'll just not be producing as much of it during this next semester.
I'm very excited!

Car Update
Posted 9 years agoI got a new car!
More that it was passed down to me after my mom bought a new one. So new-old car.
I've had it for a day and I've already had it broken into and had the insurance papers stolen out of it. Fantastic really.
I have the best luck.
I get to talk to the apartment office and file a police report and try to lock all my credit, maybe talk to my bank. Then the insurance guy. He's going to love me. I literally just got his insurance and I come back saying my car got broken into.
Anyway. Small update. I have shitty luck. And I mean shitty luck. All this stuff was locked in my glove box and they broke the lock to get it. And there was nothing to "tempt" them to steal anything. It was all cleaned out because i had literally just got it.
Let this be a lesson: Don't put your insurance cards and registration in your car, carry them on you in your bag or wallet.

I will be open for tail and fursuit head commissions for the foreseeable future as well as Illustration commissions to save up for a car. I will update later today with information on illustrations commissions and produce samples of all that will be for sale.

Posted 10 years agoI'm thinking about posting some older anthro art on my account. I don't really have them all in one place and a lot of them are still up to standard of what I am doing now.
So I think as I'm cleaning out my computer I'm going to be posting a couple of them a week.

Christmas Wish List 2015

~Step 1~
Make a post in your journal containing your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple to really big. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
If you wish for real-life things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where folks could get in touch with you.

Surf around other lists to see who has posted their list. If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. 6. Send me a Christmas card, I love them but rarely does anyone do them.
7. Furry stuff
8. One of those 5lb containers of polyfil.
9. Kind of a silly one but, I want to throw a Christmas party for my friends and make a bunch of frosted sugar cookies.
10. I want everyone to have a great Christmas time. :)

Posted 10 years agoI'm feeling better now but I got sick again this past week. I had tonsillitis and one night I had my throat almost swell shut. I was breathing through a pea sized hole and kept drinking water which was extremely painful to keep it open until urgent care opened up in a couple of hours because there was no way in hell I was going to the ER. Well It was viral and I essentially just had to wait it out. but the next day started to feel a lot better anyway.
I was told not to talk a lot until I felt better again. Two days later I feel like I can talk again and I can eat and swallow and BREATHE.
I feel fantastic now. I'm still not 100% but I'm way better than I was a couple nights ago.

Fall
Posted 10 years agoI spent my entire day cleaning my suit.
I had all my windows open too. It's so cool out right now. I love it. It's definitely starting to feel like fall again.

AZ Fur Con 2015
Posted 10 years agoJust got back from Arizona Fur Con 2015 and it was amazing!
I got a lot of stuff this year. I got a beanie from Dragonclaw Creations and a some art from DanjiIsthmus. Plus their grab bags were awesome.
I loved how everything was set up this year. My only complaint is that our hotel room was kinda far from events but that couldn't really be changed. The headless lounge was great and they had GIANT straws this year! I could drink the water in suit!
Speaking of suits, I was wearing Slick this year. I somehow managed to forget to make my badge, which is ridiculous because I had several pages of ideas in my sketchbook about it. Dx I just arrived and realized my mistake almost as soon as my foot touched the ground. So I doubt many people knew who I was. That's fine there's always next year!
The rave on Saturday night was great! I got to dance with so many people and I love you all. I realized I should have exchanged contact info with everyone but I forgot about that too. Dx TepidDreamer had a great panel on fursuit making. I learned a lot of little things about casting that I didn't really consider before that should make casting easier the next time I attempt it, which will hopefully be soon. I want to make a partial wolf to sell on furbuy.
It was a great con, I can't wait for next year, anyone who was there and finds me: definitely say hi! I would love to stay in contact with all of you!
