caught a baby raccoon going to keep it as a pet.

the other night at fire training we were taught how to do vehical extracation. some people donated us a couple of old cars and we got to tear them apart. i got to use the jaws of life to rip the doors off the henges and let me tell you the jaws of life is a bad ass piece of equpiment. i got to bust out windows and just beat the holly hell out of these cars with a sedge hamer, it was so cool.

it was a dark setting it looked like what you would imagine the vally of death to look like. there was a large deap black canyon, it was the buttcrack of dawn the sun was just barely peaking over the horizen the sky had a dark purplish tint to it and the ground was dark brown, black, and purplish. far off in the distance you could see a rain bow streatching from one side of the canyon to the other with the lucky charms guy running across it. up close in the for ground the was a pink and purple stript, bipedal, winged, pegasis zebra with devil horns and a halo, fireing a mini gun at a hord of undead suicide bombing ninja zombies that was on the other side of the canyon and as the were being mowed down and blown up from the explosives that were strapped to them from the impact of the bullets and the other explosions that were close and the were falling to there second deaths as they would walk off the edge and be blown off by nearby explosions. body parts flying every where, explosions every where, empty shell caseings spread all over the groung. mass destruction of epic proportions, kayos every where, tensions high, and then i woke up and got ready foe school.

just got back from fire training its like 12 something, started at 6. todays training was search and rescue in a structure fire. we had to get in full gear paints, jacket, helmit, gloves, nomax, scba mask (self contained breathing aperatis), and air pack. they set up senarios get in locate victum and extricate out of the building. they put up obslicals you had to navigte through tables, chairs, and ropes. then they turn the lights out and on top of that you have to turn your nomax around backwards so you absolutly can not see. when you start you get down on your hands and knees and you are crawling around on the floor trying to find your way through to the victum which you have no ideal where they are at in the dark. im getting me and my partner through the obsticals pretty good and someone decides to drop a big fucking table on me and then jump on it, that wasn't enough to stop me i just kept crawling with them and the table on my back. got close to the end they seperated me and my partner had to go back and find him he simulated being uncontious so i had to turn around and drag his heavey ass back the way i came through the obsticals adn i was almost out with him when there like the building is colapsing leave him get out i didn't i kept draging him then they all grabed ahold of him so i couldn't get him out i had to leave him to die in the imaginary burning building. it was fun. no one had a hard of a course as me because i had to set up the senario for the fire chef and his partner who were talking pretty big about being able to do it so i put together a very hard course that they weren't able to complete and it compleatly gutted them so they came up with one twice as hard as mine i knew they would anyways so i had my fun with them will i could and on yop of all that i compleated the one they gave me and i asked for more. i was like i thought you said you were going to make it hard, im only getting started.

at one point i think there were more then one of them on my back trying to put me down so i couldn't move and i keep crawling with them there. they tryed and couldn't stop mr no matter what they did.

i almost died a while ago i was fighting a house fire. i was on the outside of the house giving support for another fire fighter when the whole side of the building fell, the top of the wall hit me in the face and the arm pinning me against a fence. the other guy with me was underneath the burning wall, i lifted the entire wall off me and him. i found him face down in the fire, i thought about his safety before myself my first reaction was to get him out, i grabbed the back of his pants and the collar of this jacket, lifted him up and threw him out the gate away from the fire and then i got out. he sustained a good number of blisters. it busted my nose i was bleeding like a stuck pig and it put a knot the size of a baseball on my arm where it hit me. me and the other fireman are okay. it just hurt alot.

today my human anotomy and phisiology class went to the cadaver lab. they had 4 bodys in the lab that had alredy been disected they had been put back together for us to take apart and study. the bodys are layed out on these big metal tables, they're layed there compleatly skined so you can see all the muscles and stuff which looked pretty cool. the main body that i studied was the body of a female. the first thing i done was remove her rib cage and pull apart the muscles of the abdome to show all the organs. i then removed her heart to study it closer thats when i said to myself holy crap i'm holding a human heart in my hands not very many people have ever done this, this is awesome. i noticed she had a pacemaker in her chest and there were the veins on the heart that weren't supose to be there so i asked the instructor what they were, he said that she had a triple bypass surgery, you could see all three of them on it and where they were attached with little blue threads. i studied her body further and i eventuly found the vien in her leg where they took from to do the bypass surgery whitch was neat. they had her right leg removed at the knee cap so you could see the joint and stuff that was pretty cool. i noticed she was missing a big toe on her left foot she had lost it in some way, i was the only person that even noticed that. one thing i was kind of disapointed with was that they hadn't done the heads of the cadaver yet. i really wanted to hold and study a human brain. the only thing that sucked about it was the very strong smell of fermaldahide. when thet opened the door and you got the first wiff of it, it would almost knock you on your ass. the smell of fermaldahide is still stuck to my clothes. it was all a very good learning experience.
