On that day we were united as one to seek answers and retribution against those who attacked us. Sadly the government used the tragedy as an opportunity to exert more power of the populous and restrict freedoms in the name of protection. A little diddy known as the "Patriot Act" was created and the Department of Homeland Security was born. This also gave a little monkey an excuse to invade the middle east and try to one up daddy with no exit plan in site, causing the deaths of millions over the course of 20 years, only for it to be botched by an equally, if not far more incompetent retard and add the United States to the list of failures who screwed with Afghanistan and lost (Russians, British, ect).

In the twenty years since, and more so within the last five, the united states has become more split and divided due to ideology and forced propaganda. where once we saw clearly how Islamic extremists are terrorist, we now call people who don't what to get a covid vaccine terrorist. Were we would call out the destruction of monuments and statues by Islamic extremist, we now celebrate those who destroy American statues and monuments and call those who fight to preserve terrorist and supremist. Where we would denounce the destruction of neighborhoods by extremist who used fire and bombs, we now let them do the same in our cities and call it, "Mostly peaceful protest" while whole blocks burn in the background and make shift bombs are being thrown whole local leaders stop the police from stopping the acts of violence.

What the terrorist aimed to do on that fateful day has come to frutation and now they down even have to lift a finger, because we are not only living in terror, but we are destroying our selves.

This weekend is memorial day weekend in which we as Americans celebrate, remember, and honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to ensure that we as Americans can have the great freedoms, rights, and liberties that so many today in ignorance take advantage of that others in the world can only dream of having a fraction of. Service men and women who fought for not just our nation, but for other nations as well, to stand up against tyrannical and oppressive rule and great evils to bring freedom and ensure those continued freedoms for generations to come. They gave their lives so we would have the right to speech, free thought and ideas, free movement to go where we wanted, and so many more freedoms we forget we have, at least, until others try to take those rights and freedoms from us.

Take the time to think about those who gave all before for what you have today and give thanks.

If FA was to be fair and balanced, they would be banning Antifa and BLM for the months of destruction and deaths brought on by those groups in cities int he past year. To be clear, I do not agree completely with the storming of the Capital and the deaths that resulted. Violence no matter who does it is wrong and hurts their cause. That being said it was not a surprise to see the actions taken by those who have been censored, silenced, attacked, and called horrible things for so long.

To add to what FA is doing, Twitter and facebook are also going full draconian with their purges of anyone who is right-wing, conservative, republican, and even leftist who do not follow the set narrative. Social media has adopted many censorship and restrictive policies that are one sided. This is not free speech, this is not free thought. this is forceful removal of those that have a differing opinion and are deemed enemies of the narrative.

Finally, Main stream media has for the last two plus decades become the propaganda wing of the establishment and those of the leftist narrative. For the last four years MSM has been screaming "Orange Man Bad" and censoring differening opinions while protecting those they side with and doing all they could to smear and slander the President and his supporters. They would praise and endorse the violence that BLM and Antifa unleashed on many cities while demonizing right wing protest and rallies. Hypocrisy is the name of the game for the main stream media.

The purge of others based on their beliefs and ideas is upon us. This is how you destroy the freedoms that America has been founded and built on and destroy freedom of speech. Those that side with the current narrative WILL eventually find their selves on the otherside and WILL be purged just like those before them.

Thankfully there are many, especially when it comes to the sheriffs, they will no enforce these unconstitutional lock-downs. I do expect to see continued violence and destruction from the communist leftist and more of the right taking a stand against a corrupt government. I also expect to see a new Great Depression brought to you by the Biden then Harris Administration, if Trump and Pence doesn't somehow pull a rabbit out of their hat in a few days. This is why we have the statues of those who have struggled to overcome what was truly difficult. this is why we dedicate memorials to those that rose up and made a mark on history, so we will remember and never forget.

So aside from the awesomeness that is Beastars on Netflix, I was also introduced to another anthro anime called BNA (Brand New Animal). Its in traditional anime style instead of the 3d like that was used for Beastars. It features a human girl who was turned into a Tanuki shortly after her close friend was turned into a fox/ kitsumi. In this world Beastmen and humans exist and there is a city named Anima City, a city built for beastmen to be able to live peacefully as themselves. Lots of fun stuff and an interesting story line with surprises and slight twist. One of the characters, the mayor of Anima City, named Barbaray Rose, is a naked molerat beastman, and she looks exactly like Tilda Swinton. So kind of fun bit there.

If you haven't seen it yet, i do highly recommend it. its a fun watch and exploration into an anthro world.

We as a nation were warned during the end of the cold war about how the communist/ socialist would try to take over the United States. Often the term "Useful Idiots" is used to describe the far left and those who push for communism / socialism in the U.S. What many don't know is that when the goals of the left are achieved, the useful idiots are removed, most often sent to gulags, executed, ect. * The social justice advocates begin agitating for new rules for the entire community to protect the "victims" of these disagreements.
* Community leaders who resist are browbeaten into compliance through smearing them as "racist", "misogynists", "homophobes", ect if they do not comply.
* Community leaders cave from their desire to be good people and fear for their reputation, and start implementing the changes demanded.
* The community at large find these changes to be repressive and object en-mass.
* Having successfully politicized and gained control of the community, social justice advocates proceed to ostracism their opponents.
* Bystanders in the community decide this community no longer serves their interest as hobbyists and leave.
* the community cohesion disintegrates as the main focus has shifted away from the original purpose of the group and onto identity politics.
* Over time as people leave out of distaste for the new atmosphere of the community.

This is how social justice advocates co-opt and destroy popular communities on the internet. The larger and less-centralized the community is, the more difficult and time-consuming the process of co-option becomes.

Today is once again my birthday and I'm now 40. Sadly I'm celebrating it by being at the DMV all day. I spend about 3 hours in the sun in a line that wrapped the building. Have to renew my commercial drivers licence and do the real I.D. thing too. I wanted to get it done months ago but China had different plans for all of us. Afterwards I'm planning to go shopping for stuff for the truck then get back on the road for a short bit.

I've become pretty recluse to the fandom due to the authoritarians taking over and making it miserable. I've lost friend due to destructive and hateful ideology forced onto the fandom. At best im still able to enjoy the art, but doing anything social is a no go for me.

SOmething I grew up watching back in the 1980's

last night (01/15/2020) I was out getting hygiene and home supplies and a new HP printer cause my old one was fubar. In my car as I was shifting to reverse, it acted like it wasn't in gear but then went into gear. i thought it was just I didn't shift all the way and nothing else. Get home and try to set up new printer. nope. all kinds of issues with not catching the paper and other things. Contact HP about it. Do their voodoo dance to try to fix it and nothing works, so get set up for a new replacement to be sent out.

This morning (01/16/2020) I head off to work and all seems fine, then as I'm down the road and try shifting to 5th, it wont engage. I push the shifter and it wants to grind. I fidget with it and it slips into gear. It does this the rest of the way to the truck terminal (I'm a truck driver for those that didn't know). When I get there I test out the reverse (its below 5th gear) and it doesn't engage and instead wants to grind as I let off the clutch. Great. If I want to back up i have to push my car now.

Check in with my drive manager and go look for my truck as it was in the shop for service and repairs. Jump in and the DEF gauge (Diesel Exhaust Fuel. It filters the exhaust and makes diesels very clean and non polluting) was reading empty. I add some in and it still shows empty. I tell the shop and they pull the truck in to figure out what they did and fix it.

Meanwhile, I look around online for a transmission shop near home and get referred to one in Lancaster. I call them up and tell them the issue. After checking I'm told $1800 and 3 to 5 days to fix it. Issue is not the linkage but a barring and of course worn parts. Its basically a rebuild and would have a warranty. They send me a link to a financing company to help with covering the cost and making payments. Going to apply and hope I'm approved. Talked to my folks and they toss some options and offer to help. Right now I just want to get out on the road and build up some funds to cover the majority or full cost of the repair when I can setup to get it into the shop and have the time off to do it with. After which I'm going to look into getting a new car and trade in/sell my old car once I get caught back up on things.

I'm just trying to keep calm and not panic about all this happening all of a sudden.

Nine years. Nine long years of friendship and magic and technicolor miniature anthropomorphic horses. Lessons of friendship that we as children once had been taught or should have been taught, reminded to us as adults. A cartoon show originally aimed at little girls somehow found its way into every person no matter their age. We watched these characters come to life on the television screen every Saturday morning, showing us their life stories. Stories that told of joy and sorrow, good times and hard, success and failures, and just every day slice of life. Sometimes they went on adventures to save the land or journey to the unexplored. We were shown the importance of the elements of friendship that helps to bind us and guide us and even protect our selves. With personal growth, we watch three young fillies finally achieve their goal of gaining their "cutie mark" and learning how to find new goals to help others. We see a self employed business mare expand her business and achieve her life goals. A top flying pegasus achieved her life long dream of joining the top areal group in the land and prove to be one of the best flyers in the land and the responsibility it brought with it. We learned of the families of these characters and understood how relatable each one was to our own lives.

I personally hope it has helped to make myself and many others better people for having watched and followed for so long. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic was the show we needed when it came out, and in these times, I'd say its the show we still need to help us to find a way to come together to put aside our differences and find that commonality that brings us together so we can celebrate what makes us unique and different but still able to share together in something great and wonderful.

on this day 75 years ago, the Allies launched the largest amphibious assault in human history to invade occupied France and mainland Europe to combat the Nazi War Machine and to liberate the world from true evil. Early morning aerial assults of decoys drew many forces away from the Normandy coast line. Mis-dropped bombs missed the beach head targets, paratroopers were scattered and many drowned in now flooded fields in an attempt to have a force behind enemy lines to help take the beaches. As light began to over take the night, landing craft hurried towards their assigned beaches. The British would take the beaches Sword and Gold. The Canadians took Juno. And the Americans would take Utah and Omaha. To support the troops landing were specially modified sherman tanks called Duplex Drive tanks. Sadly because of the high seas, only two tanks out of the set sent to Omaha were able to make it and they didn't last long. For those in the landing craft, many never got off the boat the moment the door dropped. those that could bailed over the sides. Many drowned due to the deep water and heavy get holding them under. What was suppose to have been done within a few short hours took 12 hours to complete. None the less, through shear will and bravery along with strong leadership, the allies pushed through and took the beaches, securing an entrance into Europe and the eventual total defeat of the Nazi Regime.

We must never forget the sacrifice these men, many who were between 18 and 23 years old, had given to protect the freedoms we take for granted every day. It is thanks to the greatest generation that we can wake up and be free to live our lives, to make our own way in life, to be able to bitch and whine over petty nuances and fight amongst each other over trivial matters. To not be in fear of being sent to labor camps for our opinion or how we were born as. To be able to speak our own language and not be forced to speak a different one. These are the freedoms those men fought for and died for.

On this day I ask that we all take a moment to honor those that gave all so we may can live in a world that is more free that ever in our remembered history.

Hey there fuzz heads. Just as the title says, I'm on the road working for the holidays. I don't mind too much as I just did some home time the weekend before Christmas.
