Pearl Harbor, 07:48 hawiian time local. Japan's imperal navy fighters attacked the U.S. Navy port. The U.S. navy carriers were elsewhere at the time, but the battle ships were there and in neat rows. This made it eazy for the japanese forces to cripple the fleet. For months before the attack, Japan had been taking islands and attacking the northern coast line of north america. Though these incidents were minor, it wasn't enough to pull the United States into the war completely. After the attack, America declared war on japan and Germany. It was the greatest single act of destruction on american lives and property. This was the 9/11 of the time. Today is the 77th anniversary of that day. With the passing of George H.W. Bush, who flew in combat in the pacific Theater during the war, we are reminded that the veterans who fought to preserve peace and freedom from a truly evil force, are passing away, and soon WWII will no longer be a living memory. Those who fought and lived in those times, who survived the great depression and the wars and everything else, they are said to be the greatest generation of modern times. Looking out at the current generations, I can't help but agree, and find sorrow that save for another war like such, we will never against have such a great generation.

The United States fought against Communism and the death and destruction it has done to the world during the cold war. Now, the Main Stream Media and their supporters use Soviet style propaganda to influence and force us to accept Communism.

Well, maybe not noisy a lot, but I do make a lot of noise then go away for a while, be it of my own volition, or forced because I don't fit the narrative of others. In any-case, I've been a bit of a busy bird the past month.

First off, as some know, I'm a truck driver that is Over the Road and drive the "western 11". So I'm out for weeks at a time, coming home for a few days then back out. I do have a gaming laptop and internet access, but its nothing like being at home. So whats new with me is I got a crown put in for one of my top front teeth. Not the very front, but one near. Funny thing was I went in on July 2nd, right after finding my car had been hit on the 1st, for a dental appointment cause I was having tooth pain. So that day they examined and performed a root canal and prepped the tooth for a crown. The numbed me up correctly thankfully and didn't hurt at all. I left with a temp crown, that I broke about a week later. I was scheduled for the perm crown on the 20th of July, and when I went, the ortho dentist had called in sick, so i was rescheduled, but had another temp made, which fell out the next day. No problem, I just avoided biting anything with that area or tooth.

Meanwhile on the front of my car front, I had ordered all the parts needed to replace the damaged ones, as well as new of the other side that wasn't damaged cause lets be real, new and old lopsided look sucks. In all, I think I spent a total of $600 on parts with shipping and taxes included. I had everything shipped to my folks place cause I could work on my car there with ease, and could rely on my folks, as apposed to the people I'm living with. Anyways, I called around and found a place that could do paint and install of the bumper all for $500. Cool. So Thursday August 9th, I was back home and got the crown installed, then went to my folks and took the bumper tot he paint and body shop to gt painted. Came back to my folks and started stripping off the old bumper and parts and installing the new stuff.

It was actually a nice feeling to be working on my car. I found some things that needed to be tightened and re-secured from years of just road traveling. Tighten a bolt here, put in a retaining clip there, straighten a cover, that stuff. So next morning, I go to the body shop, get the bumper put on, and they knocked 50 off the estimated cost. So yay! Front end looks all shiny and new! WITNESS!

SO yeah, been busy with tooth and car and other minor stuff. Been playing Assassin's creed Origins. Fun, but doesn't feel like an AC game as I knew it. In other news, I got a small window AC unit for my room finally. It is a god send. Helps so much, especially with this year. My swamp cooler just couldn't do the job cause it was weirdly humid this summer. This AC unit is nice though. it has all kinds of settings and a remote.


One last thing.

As seen from my previous postings, I have a few political views that are not part of the left or current liberl's ideology. Infact, because I have a moderate/ libertarian with a slight conservative leaving view and vocal about it, I've suffered the loss of friendships, being removed from chats, and just out right ignored. Fortunately, it is no where as sever as it has been for many others. I know I somehow fly under the radar for the most part, and I know if I was to become far more vocal and stand out, I would be attacked viciously by the leftist mob mentality. Just for the fact that I am a white male I am already deemed super ultra double triple hitler nazi racist facist sexist homophobe transphobe Islamophobe and everything else they pull out of their asses to blame me for doing. While this would be, and to a point is a bother and annoyance, I would like to point out that the Nazis were a leftist socialist party and ideology, which shares many ideas and values the left and most democrats share and express today. The point I'm wanting to make is that despite one's political views and siding, what bothers me the most isn't the name calling, the devaluing of words, or the extreme tribalism, its the blatant hypocrisy and double standards being presented by the extremes, though most overtly and disproportionately by the leftist and democrats. For the last few years, especially in the past 2 to 4 years, many people within the furry fandom have lost touch and sight of just what exactly the furry fandom is about. These days many are using their political ideology and such to push agendas and redefine what the furry fandom is about. I would argue on of the more recent examples of this was displayed all over Anthro Con this year with a certain badge ribbon. In any case, this hate and vitriol thrown about so freely has alienated so very many, and polarized many more. Forceful ignorance has taken over open mindless and reserving judgement till proper investigating and information is found. Lies told over and over again to make it truth, accusations simply because one does not share the same ideology and views or condemn what the others blindly hates, and other tactics to cause division and resentment. These are all very real things happening in a fandom that once was accepting and kind and open to all of any and all backgrounds and thoughts and views. Civil discussion between those who have opposing views or ides that ended in pleasantries and a better understanding, has given way to fighting and name calling, diluting and redefining the definition of the words and names used. Misguided allegiances with those who would do you harm normally and causing further confusion. There is even the calling for genocide simply because of the color of one's skin and the sex they were born as. I've even heard how furry is somehow a representative of the gay alphabet and straights have no place in furry. This is not the fandom I so joyfully joined back in 2002.

I want everyone, no matter what or who or why you do or believe, to simply remember where this fandom started from. Why people came together in celebration of anthropomorphic animals. To remember how accepting we were of everyone else and forgiving for honest mistakes. That the furry fandom is unique in how it encompasses all things anthropomorphic animal and the worlds such creatures came from, be it beloved cartoons and scifi/ fantasy stories, or creations of one's own imagination. How humanity has always had a history of praising or creating anthro animals in their culture and stories. How the fandom can be a place of spiritual awareness and awakening, and how ti can be a community for those who don't quite fit elsewhere.

Please, take the hate and ideology and political division and leave it far away from the furry fandom. Don't try to claim all of the furry fandom is one way or the other to fit someone else's narrative or ideology. Enjoy furry for what it was created to be, a place for fans of anthropomorphic animals to share their interest.

I am a truck driver now for the last couple of years for those that still don't know. The home terminal for me is in Bloominton, CA. So here in socal. Its an hour and half drive away from home here in Lancaster, so i drive there and back when not on the road driving the big trucks all over the western 11+ states. Anyways, Sometime within the last two weeks, my car, which is parked at the terminal with all the other cars and small vehicles, was struck by a trailer or possibly a truck making a turn going down the rows of trailers. The Damage was to the front end which included tearing and scraping the bumper, destroying the right side grill, breaking the front lense off the right turn signal, breaking the right side head light at the adjuster making it droop, breaking the emblem on the bumper, and causing the bumper to tear at the attachment points. There was debris from the turn signal a few feet away. I took a lot of pictures of the damage and included pictures showing the other cars in relation and where the debris was at. Being that it is sunday as of this discover and posting, there isn't anyone to get in contact with to inquire how to handle this issue financially. When I got home I got online and ordered all the parts plus replacements for the left side because if going to be new, need it to match. After shipping everything came to $530. The damaged parts, not including painting, was about $230 before shipping. I figure the bumper getting painted will be about 200 at most. hopefully much less. I'm having it shipped to my parents place because I trust them far more than where I live and there is room to work and tools there. I'm just going to have to find a place that can do the painting and quickly so i don't have to worry about taking a month to get it.

In other news, Monday I'm going to go see a dentist for the first time in decades. The last time I had anyone look at my teeth was in 2011 while I was in jail, but before that I think it was maybe 20 years ago now? I know it was when I was in my teens. I've got a front tooth that hurts when I bite into something or drink something cool. So its pretty annoying.

Also tomorrow, I plan on getting my car smogged and registration done, which is going to run me a total of $250. 50 for the smog, 200 for the reg. Thanks a lot California Democrats for raising the gas tax and reg fee's by up to 400%

Ug. Just sucks. I was planing on getting a 2tb SSD for my laptop, but that's going to have to wait.

SO saturday, the 26th, was my 38th birthday. I spent it with my parents with a nice breakfast, then we went to see Deadpool 2 and had a great time, then had a nice dinner and home made birthday carrot cake. After we watched the new Jumanji at home. It wasn't excessive and it was relaxing. Also, I've been sleeping a lot this weekend. Kind of bummed that I'm as tired as I am, kind of nice to get to just pass out safely without stress.

Last weekend in Berkeley, Calif., a group of neo-communist antifa — “anti-fascist” — thugs attacked peaceful protesters at a “No to Marxism in America” rally, wielding sticks and pepper spray, and beating people with homemade shields that read (I kid you not) “No Hate.” The Post reports how one peaceful protester “was attacked by five black-clad antifa members, each windmilling kicks and punches into a man desperately trying to protect himself.” Members of the Berkeley College Republicans were then stalked by antifa goons who followed them to a gas station and demanded they “get the [expletive] out” of their car, warning, “We are real hungry for supremacists and there is more of us.”


Need I go on? The proof is in the pudding, as the saying goes. Antifa is a hate group, yet is allowed to get away with the hate it causes and brings and is protected here on Fur Affinity. It is obvious that the top people of the site are either supporters and sympathizers, or are active members, causing hate and violence against anyone that isn't left of Marxism. That's right kiddies! May the 5th is a very VERY minor holiday in Mexico that's celebrated by only the people of Puebla for the Battle of Puebla of 1867, where in the locals formed a militia and beat back the French. It was celebrated the following couple of years, then just remembered at most. Fast Forward to the 80's and american beer companies wanted to get the legals and illegals to suck down their beer. How do they do that? By marketing and making it a big deal to celebrate a non-holiday with fuck tons of beer and getting wasted.

And that kiddies, is the story of Drunk Mexican Day.

As many may already know, Califur is currently looking for a new venue to host due to the previous venue canceling and refusing to host this year while only a few months away. The reasons are most likely due to last year's threats against the hotel by the same furry groups that caused RMFC to be shut down. While Califur was able to continue last year with the added stipulations, and there was no incidents in relation to the threats, and the PETA protest was directed only at a Bar-B-Que event completely unrelated to the convention and in an area far from the con, the hotel may have felt it was not worth the trouble to host Califur with possibly more threats and negative activities to come if they should decide to host another year. As a staff member, I can say there were talks about looking for a new venue last year after the convention that would be more appealing location wise to the general furry population and would offer more options within a shorter range. As for any official word on this matter, I would direct everyone to contact califur through official channels.

At this time of writing, Califur, as to my and most others knowledge, does not have a venue for this year, and may be looking at having to skip this year. If so, it is my hope, as well as many others whom I've talked with, that the heads of staff who operate Califur use this opportunity to do a reassessment, possible restructure, and reinvigorate the convention, of which would be to reevaluate some of the long term concerns the attendees have been bringing up each year at the "scritch and bitch". I do ask folks to remember that, no matter what views, ideology, or associations you may have, Califur is first and foremost, a furry convention that is family friendly and welcomes all to take a step into the fandom and enjoy it, whether its the first time, or 20th time and you just want to have fun, Califur is about the fandom of furry.

First, I want to say thank you to all who commented. It helped to open my eyes as it where and put things into better perspective. I was just not meant to be around those who have decided to become shallow and hyper sensitive to things that others have a different opinion on, and ignore all the other things good or likable about someone. This morning while going through submissions, I found I was blocked by someone and couldn't fav a piece of art. I was confused at first, then looking more closely, noticed what it was, it was someone who was offended at what I had to say about there being a lot of folks becoming trans because its the new fad and in thing to do. Though my discussion was involved and more about differences and problems caused by this new fad, it caused me to be banned permanently from the burdcrew telegram chat. Mind you I have been kicked out before because of things I said and did that, while not completely vulgar, was taken as too extreme and annoying for those who are overly sensitive. I had been behaving and keeping it civil, but this last bit cause too many who are overly sensitive and easily offended to cry and have me removed.

Why I bring this to attention is not to ask forgiveness or support or for those to defend me. I ask all who may feel that way to not do so as it will do no good and wouldn't matter anyways. This has become more of an insight to me about the current state of the furry fandom and the way people are in general currently. Its a fight against SJW's, Political Correctness, Overly sensitive special snowflakes, and people that can't take a joke or understand context. Its a fight I can't keep on battling or facing. Its something that I am not.

People that know me, know I am a kind hearted guy, stand up for whats truly right and against the wrong. Defend those that really need to be defended, and encourage others to stand for their selves. I also come off as being blunt, straight forward, crude, very politically incorrect, can be cold when blunt and forward, and not afraid to say whats on my mind. I have many times been tactless and direct. I call out bullshit when I see it. These are the things about me that make up who I am. At times, I wonder if I've become more callous, or if society as become more thin skinned and unable to brush off and move on from these things. It's like you can't say anything without someone being greatly offended and wanting someone punished for them being offended.

So, with all that said, I feel that there is no room within the furry fandom as it is in its current state for someone like me. I feel I just don't belong anywhere anymore with anyone. Maybe once I did, but too many I know have moved on and become less involved. I guess its my turn now.

Yes folks, what everyone has been telling you for the past year is true, antifa is a domestic terrorists group. They have been harassing, attacking, beating, and destroying and are not the good guys. They are racist, sexist, and fascist towards anyone they disagree with. As far as they are concerned, everyone that is not them is a nazi. Never mind that what they are doing is not too far off from the nazi party actions in the 20's and early 30's in Germany. Hell, antifa burned down parts of Hamburg Germany not too long ago. The only thing that does separate anitfa from nazis is that nazis were national socialist. Antifa has more in common with the communist party, which is just as bad, if not worse than what the nazi's ever did or were.

Now, this isn't to say Nazi's or neo nazi's or other such are off the hook. Those groups are terrible and destructive in their own ways, but the facts are that right now, its antifa that are going all over the nation and world and causing violence and impeding on free speech of others, coming prepared to fight and cause harm and destruction, and go about causing terror on the public at large.

Anyone that is part of or die hard defends antifa, are terrorist just as well, as is the same for those that support and preach for ISIS and other islamic extremist terrorist groups.

A week or so ago, there was a journal post I responded. The journal was, for all intents and proposes, a knee-jerk reaction to the events at Charlottesville. It was made with bias and ignorance towards only one side instead of calling out all sides that contributed to and caused the violence. It called for actions against others within the fandom who may even vaguely be considered connected. So much for peace and tolerance. And while I agree with some of the statements which said such hate and violence has no place, and the actual ideology that mentioned groups have and promote should be fought against and I have no love or agreement for, I wont stand for protecting other violent hate groups and absolving them of their crimes and destruction and hate and violation of free speech on others.

So what happened? I called the posted out, telling them to include the other groups that were there inciting violence and hate and destruction, and how those associated with said groups should too be removed as they too have no place within the fandom with their violence and hate.

So what happens then? I got a response typical of those siding with ideology of said hate groups and was then blocked from commenting further, making any further discussion and rebuttal impossible.

I had thought the poster was above such things. I thought they were a good person who just got swept up into the moment. I was wrong. They had become part of the ideology and showed the stereotypical response to those that show logic and counter points that don't coincide with their own. And whats worse, another friend who I think highly of and know to be intelligent and logical and not part of the ideology of any of these groups, may have black listed me because of my response to the journal.


I don't know what to say except that it saddens me that this is what the fandom and even the nation is becoming. A Social civil war where free speech is being fought against by fascist who claim to be against fascism, claiming to be against racism yet are being racist, and claim to be against sexism yet are being sexist.

I wanted to get this off my chest. Take it for what you will.

With the socal civil war exploding, government officials letting riots happen, news media editing the facts to fit their political agenda, history being destroyed , and history repeating it's self, one song comes to mind as I watch and read all of these events:




All of it makes me angry that this is where we are in our nation. It also makes me sad and want to just hide away and watch ponies to feel better.
