So I'm back in socal for the week on vacation from work and have been semi busy with things. I dug out my Princess Luna stuff to take back with me to North Dakota, got a new phone and tablet (Samsung galaxy S6 and Tab 4), and took my mate to dinner at red lobster and to the movies. Then today (the 18th) took my mate to Knott's berry farm and Medieval Times. For an anniversery, that was a hell of a lot. We had a great time too, though because of my size and his back, we didn't go on too many rides. In anycase, I head back to ND saturday morning, so back to life.

Hey there folks and socal furs and desert furs, I'm going to be back home for a week come the 14th this month and leaving the morning of the 22nd, so I have the evening of the 14th through the 21st. I hope there is going to be something to do and furs to see cause I've been away from furry interaction for quite a while, outside of califur of course. So if any local fur's want to hang out or something (also applies to socal furs in general, I'll have a car) then respond or note me or hit me up on a messenger like skype. Being out here in North Dakota has been a challenge for me, but I'm surviving.

I like both characters (Luna infinitely more of course), but something about their personalities, coloring, and interaction with each other (more now after S05 E13) And how I feel I can relate to each of them, well... I guess it is why it is not just attractive, but more natural feeling for me.

With all of that said however, I totally support making twilight sparkle and flash sentry a couple and having it canon. Those two (in equestia, not human world) are cute together

I had once acquired a copy of "American McGee's Alice", and thoroughly enjoyed the demented, dark, twisted, gothic world that wonderland had become. A journey into the broken mind of poor Alice Liddell, whom had seen the death of her family and home by fire, one which she felt she may have had a part in. This journey let her repair part of her self and come back into the real world, though with some mental instability. Enter "Alice: Madness Returns", the second game in what was planned to be a trilogy. Alice is under the care of a Dr. Bumbly, whom is trying to "cure" Alice by getting her to "Forget" the past. For poor Alice, it is not so easy, and Wonderland is falling apart within her. Here her journey begins again, but this time, she is faced with a pollution that is corrupting and destroying her mind through Wonderland.

I had bought Alice: Madness returns either late last year or early this year, but had other games ahead of it to work through (Assassin's creed rouge and liberation) After finally finished Liberation (which, was buggy as all hell), I popped in A:MR. I finished it just the other day and have to say, I would love to see a third game come out to see how Alice deals with her new state of mind and reality.

For those that like platformers and things on the more dark and twisted side of things, (And some dark humor), I would say A:MR is a good choice. And the ending, well, lets say it is enjoyable and was what we would want after learning the truth about who really set the fire.


And one last thing. Why is a raven like a writing desk? Lewis Carroll said, "Because it can produce a few notes, tho they are very flat; and it is never put with the wrong end in front!" However, I prefer my answer, "Because both have inky quills"

I made it to califur safely. My flight from Denver to irvine was bumpy, but  darknatasha was on the flight with me, so that was cool. As soon as I got to local, I had to have in n out. Friday morning was good and I was able to get a few things and art stuff going. Working the con as I normally do. seeing a lot of fur friends that I miss, and hoping to see more furs as the con continues.

I have hit 35 years old today. yay. Worked, got a gift card, nice dinner, and some cake. So happy birthdays from people on skype. otherwise pretty uneventful.

For those who watched the latest episode of MLP, "Make New Friends But Keep Discord", you might have noticed some references that Discord was giving us through the show. Obviously the metal gear solid box was there to see, but did you notice that the tux discord wore and the hat the smooze wore was from Dumb and dumber? Also, when discord was trying to be a comedian, he took on three specific comic looks. The first was Eddie Murphy, the second was Rodney Dangerfield, and finally, the most iconic with the watermelon smashing, Gallagher.

Aside from those references, we still got to see that there are hippy ponies that are really... out there. Discord has his own plain of oblivion as it would seem (Sheogorath might actually be jealous of it), and the reimaging of The Smooze! Celestia laughs at the joke done about Twilight, and is the one that invited Discord to help liven up the Gala. (oh twilight, when will you learn that the Gala is boring and Celestia wants to liven it up with chaos?) This episode was also great in that it showed us discord learning more about friendship and how you can have different friends and not abandon your old ones. Oh, and sock puppet with crayon drawn background dimension... I had to agree and say what is that when tree hugger said and pointed too.

This had to be one of the top episodes of this season so far.

Pure Genuis

I'm really starting to question a lot of the MLP fandom that likes to "speak its mind" when it comes to reviewing the show episodes and comics. It really feels like all they want is a real reason to hate the show and tear it down brick-by-brick. Now I respect that others have opinions and such when it comes to what is released, but I feel that these "Reviewers" continuously fail to remember one simple thing: MLP:FiM is a cartoon show aimed at young girls, that just so happens to be so good that it can appeal to an older audience and doesn't make gender borders. This is not a show aimed at adults, even though it has some nice little ref's to things that adults will get that are still G to PG. Yes, the success of MLP:FiM is thanks largely because of the adult fan following, but it doesn't mean the show is directly aimed at adults.

To me, it feels that these nit pickers are a lot like druggies looking for that feeling of their first high, but can never get it again with what is their favorite drug. The magic of falling in love with MLP and what it had done for them isn't the same now as it was then. For my self, that magic feeling never left and I enjoy all of the MLP:FiM media that I watch and read. I enjoy the show for what it is, I look forward to what's coming next, I don't give a buck about tropes or "plot holes" that others are trying to point out and expose, because at the end of the day, it is all just a cartoon about technicolor anthropomorphic equines with magic and butt tattoos going on adventures and misadventures, learning important life lessons and being friends.

The company wanted to move our crew back to williston since that's where we are working mainly again, and there was an apartment that one of the sub companies has avaliable, so we are moving into it tomorrow. Packing up everything tonight and loading it into a trailer. Sadly the room I'm going to have is currently occupied by someone else who will be moving into another apartment in the building, just wont be out by tonight, so going to be crashing in one of the spare smaller rooms till I can get into the one I will be using. At least the net is already up and avaliable there, so setting up wont be too bad.

So first off, I have nothing against lesbians really, I have lesbian friends, have a liking of lesbian porn, and I don't interfere with lesbians and their relationships. I'm bi, have a sexual attraction to both females and males and have had sexual interactions with both genders many times. (and yes, I'm clean. I'm careful and not stupid.) I am in full support of homosexual marriages and feel that love and marriage should not be restricted or regulated between consenting adults.

Now, what's been chewing on me for a while.

As most know, I'm practically a brony without calling my self a brony. I love MLP. I love a lot of the fan work out there. Past Sins is awesome and Nyx is best OC pony. Twilight is my fave of the mane six and Princess Luna is best pony. I have a small collection of pony figures and plushies, and have a commission for a custom Luna in the works. I don't read fan fic's normally, save for a couple of series that involves Nyx, though I may try getting into fallout: equestria.

What's been bothering me is mlp shipping. Especially lesbian pony shipping. I have a strong feeling that gay stallion shipping would make me feel the same too, but the most seen and know is the lesbian mare shipping. Twilight and Luna, or twilight with trixie (ew), or twi with celstia, AJ and RD, so on and so forth.
Now I get that in the land of equestria, they don't have the bible thumpers that the good 'ol 'Merica and the rest of the world has. I also get that it is all fiction, and there is no reason to think there would be any stigma about homosexuality within equestrian society nor is there any hint at it. But from a nature perspective, despite that a very small percentage of animals are homosexual in some way, the vast majority are heterosexual. SO with this in mind, it does feel out of place and wrong that there is just so much.

I know I'm starting to over analyze a cartoon with techno-color anthro equines, but really, it feels like it is starting to get a little out of hand. I'm thinking it may have to do with that for me, shipping pretty much falls into rule 34 territory, and I'm not a big fan, nor like rule 34 of MLP. Exceptions being where you know who the character is suppose to be, but is far enough removed from the actual character that it feels more like a different character, much like the porn'ed out versions of krystal fox, renimon, and a few others. SO i'm wanting to just chalk it up to my distaste for MLP porn, but really, it feels like there is more to it than just that. Strangely enough though, i do support twilight and flash shipping, but most likely because it is hinted at canon wise and would fall into the more natural progression and such of things. The only other thing is perhaps an over exposure in too short of a time span to so much of this lesbian pony shipping.

In anycase, I just wanted to get this off my chest, and see what others thoughts are on this. Thanks for reading.

Just surviving the winter in north western north dakota. First winter here for me, and I'm from socal. Never have experienced this kind of cold and freezing before. So sick of the snow and ice. And I found out, that my grandfather on my mom's side was born in north dakota!

Also seems that the cold and my car don't agree. The headlights electrical decided to mess up. took it to a shop and got it fixed. 9 broken wire locations. Also, my headlights were wired wrong from the factory. *beak palms* In other news, it looks like the company will be moving our crew from the Blaisdell house to a place in Williston so we can be much closer to our work area. This means less drive time and less fuel used. Will just have to have an Ethernet cable ran from where ever the net modem is to what ever room I end up in. I prefer wired to wireless. More secure, and faster and more reliable.

Also, a bit worried that my mate and I wont ever have sex again as he is never in the mood it seems and I fear that when he come out to meet me in march, it will be a repeat of christmas vacation when I saw him last. If that's the case, then I'm seriously going to consider breaking up. I love him dearly and support him, but if he can't and wont be intimate and physical with me, then whats the point anymore if all I am is just a source of money for his debt and animals and shit. *sigh* Yeah, sex isn't everything in a close relationship, but it sure as hell is part of it. And being rejected like that makes one feel like they are ugly, obscene, unwanted, and viewed as just disgusting by everyone else.
