Well, since my mom’s funeral after her passing, I felt like I’ve healed quite a bit.

I still miss my mom every day regardless and I just know that they are gonna be days where I miss her more than others and of course there’s definitely gonna be some things I need to adjust to…

For example, I was recently watching The Drew Carey Show and there was one episode that was centered around Mother’s Day. It felt really weird watching that after my own mom died, considering that all the characters featured in that episode had mothers that were depicted as still being alive, including the mother of the fictionalized version of Drew Carey himself.

And considering I lost my mom before I was 30 years old, I don’t know how I’m gonna feel about Mother’s Day going forward.

Mother’s Day 2025 was the last Mother’s Day I had with my mom still alive, after Mother’s Day 2026 I may just end up hating the holiday.

But either way, I feel like I’ve healed quite a bit.

I write this journal with a heavy heart because my mother died in her sleep at the age of 51 years old tonight. I know I haven’t posted much in the way of new drawings, but with recent events I’m probably gonna hold off on doing that after an appropriate period of grieving. My last words to her were “I love you too”.



I love you mom, you gave me life, raised me and loved me.

Within the past week, I’ve noticed a decline in favorites in all the stuff I uploaded

My most recent drawing I did of Hikaru got 5 favorites, my two most recent drawings of my arctic fox Flora got 3 each and the debut drawing of Zoey got none

What’s going on here? Am I uploading during a time when there’s hardly any traffic? Am I not using good enough search tags?

Yeah, you read that right I can’t stand my neighbor. But it’s not for the reasons you might think. I have a neighbor of mine who lives across the street from me. He works as a landscaper, and I sometimes work with him as a hired hand so I can make some extra cash for myself. I’m currently doing vocational rehab to get myself in a new job ideally in administrative assistance.

I can’t stand my neighbor because I will be ready at the time he tells me to be ready (E.G. 9 AM) but he won’t be ready until 11 AM. Time is a valuable thing, all of us are only alive on this planet for such a finite amount of time, and I would rather not spend the time that I’m still alive waiting for something to happen that should’ve started 2 hours earlier. Respect for other people’s time should be a two-way street and my neighbor doesn’t do that. He’s even laughed at how I will be at his house, ready to go and acts all surprised about it too.

Is being a reliable person such a crime now? If that isn’t bad enough, my neighbor also teases me and infantilizes me like there’s no tomorrow. I remember one time we were working in someone’s yard in our neighborhood, it got really hot, I was trying to brave my way through the heat, but I was exhausted and my neighbor told me to go home.

The next thing I know, he ends up, making it into something that he won’t let me live down and teases me about it and makes up lies about what actually happened saying that I was “crying“ about it being too hot outside. Heat stroke is no laughing matter, also I didn’t want to go home, I was trying to stay outside so I can get as much money as possible. Since then, he’s called me a baby and tells me that I run away from the heat when it gets too hot.

I’m at my wits end with this guy, I can’t wait for things to go through with my vocational rehab and hopefully get into a position of administrative assistance. I’m only putting up with his bullshit so I can have some extra pocket money to buy alcohol.

For those who have seen this drawing and this drawing I decided on a new rule regarding my female characters wearing tops…

If a top is to be worn by one of my female characters the top worn must only do the bare minimum to cover the nipples and still expose much of the breasts and show generous amounts of cleavage and expose a
significant amount of the rest her body

And of course, female toplessness, and nudity is still strongly encouraged

Well, it looks like after almost 5 years of owning my Dell G3-15 gaming laptop, the hinge has broken, and after doing some more research, it turns out having a broken hinge can cause more damage overtime and causing it to no longer work. I know I did another journal a while back called “list of approved Star Fox ships” however, I will better explain things in this journal let’s get started. I will be breaking this down into three categories.

The OTPs: these are the ones that I support based off of established lore or what would be the most likely to happen

Head canons/if I absolutely had to ship these characters: these are ones that have not been confirmed or denied by any story in the game, but I still have a personal headcanon for if I had to ship one character with another

Last, but not least will be characters that I imagine staying single.

OTPs:
Fox x Fara: I know for the longest time I have shown my support for Fox x Krystal but I don’t mind this pairing since Fara predates Krystal as a love interest for Fox.

Fox x Krystal: my all-time favorite pairing! It’s undeniable that they are The OTP! just look at their interactions in Star Fox Assault. In one cutscene Fox even heavily implies that he wouldn’t mind marrying Krystal one day. Playing Star Fox Assault reinforced my views on this pairing.

Falco X Katt: Katt is definitely meant to be with Falco.

If I absolutely had to ship these characters:

Panther x Miyu: I know both characters come from different continuities, but honestly, if it means Panther is not with Krystal then I’m happy.

Bill x Fay: they are both canines so why not?

I gave it some thought, and I’m going to give it a rest with my hate boner for Panther from Star Fox.

Make no mistake, he is still high on my list of fictional characters I despise, I still think Krystal x Panther is a crack pairing, and I don’t imagine Krystal would ever reciprocate any romantic gestures from Panther

Honestly, it was fun while it lasted but I don’t want to be led by hate and vitriol in the creation of my art.

I plan to go back to drawing sexy women who don’t wear tops like I have always done

I still plan to do Star Fox related art, but mostly pinups of the ladies from that franchise.

As for my dislike of Krystal x Panther, I think I still can express my dislike for that ship in my art in non-hateful ways.

One example I thought was Fox and Krystal sharing a romantic kiss and then Panther could be in the background looking all sad and jealous

I recently played an emulation of Star Fox Assault. It was definitely a fun game, I had a lot of fun absolutely blasting the fuck out of aparoids!
It’s a shame that Star Fox command, which followed after was such a bad game, and began the decline of the Star Fox franchise. I will be sure to avoid command like the plague.

However, there was something else I also wanted to mention regarding this. After playing the game, my views on my favorite pairing, Fox x Krystal have been further reinforced. Also, as soon as I got the chance to shoot down Panther, I did!

Speaking of which, my opinion of Panther Caroso definitely hasn’t changed, I definitely still think that Krystal x Panther is a crack pairing that is bad and makes no sense. I also still view him as an incel who gives off very rape-y vibes. I don’t care if we are talking about Panther from assault or command, I hate him in either game.

With that being said, my views on Fox x Wolf have also not changed because the most I see between them is gaining mutual respect for each other and coming together to take down the aparoid queen.

I'm autistic and I have realized that as a nuerodivergent person, this world is not meant for autistic people like me. I found out that over 80% of autistic adults are unemployed and have trouble with employment, I then realized I have a lot of the same issues. I have a part time job right now but I don't think I'm cut out for work as much as I hate to say that, I don't think I'm cut out for a regular job.

I'm working on getting on disability benefits and as soon as they kick in, I'm done trying to work a regular job and I'll just collect benefits and do simple side hustles for extra money. I wanna do dog walking, pet sitting, house sitting, cleaning up dog poop from people's yards and do weeding as well. I have given up on being apart of society because society isn't for nuerodivergent people like me.

Hey guys about 2 weeks ago I became COMPTIA certified, I passed both exams for my COMPTIA A+ certificate, I’m now working to get my Network+ once I have both certificates I’m gonna be looking to start a career in information technology.

Before doing this I had wanted to be an animator/cartoonist when I went to college back in 2015, I then switched majors to film and video because I couldn’t get the life drawing classes techniques down.

I thought I could be a cameramen or video editor but after doing a couple of freelance editing jobs I realized how much I hate working to create other people’s visions.

I decided to do a trade program in IT because I want a career field that’ll give me more of a chance in giving me long term job security as well as more money and benefits too.

I also just wanted to go for something more black-and-white and objective instead of shades of gray and subjective.

Obviously, my dream of becoming a cartoonist seems to have partially stayed alive with me creating Vulpine Vibes, I still enjoy drawing to but I realize now that I should’ve kept it as a hobby from the beginning but as soon as I have my last certificate I need I’m looking forward to working.

This October I will be starting trade school to get my IT Certification. Originally, I was gonna start in August but I had to start in October due to financial reasons.


I'm looking at 10 hours a week in class and an additional 8 hours of homework, luckily I don't have a job so this will be no problem.


Also, the program I'm doing will only be 9 months then I'll be on my way to a nice, career sustaining job in IT, my dream job is to get in as an IT specialist at a software company.


Now, with that being said I have some things involving my art projects:

Today, I am planning getting started on Vulpine Vibes Episode #24, the 24th episode has some significance to me, in my previous comic series I did "FTN" I stopped after 24 episodes but I'm feeling good about there being a Vulpine Vibes #25, #26, #27 and so on and so forth


In due time, I'm sure there will be a Vulpine Vibes #100


I'm gonna stick with my twice a week frequency with the comic before I start trade school, after I start school I may end up switching to a once a week schedule depending on my schedule for classes, homework due dates, studying and more but If I can still pull off a twice a week upload for the comic and still maintain good grades in my classes, I'll do the 2 pages a week upload.


My art is my hobby, that I plan to continue doing, even after I finish trade school, in fact I have my eyes on a kamvas 16 inch screen tablet by Huion that I plan on buying after I get my first IT job. I'll continue Vulpine Vibes as long as I feel like doing it and I have a backburner project for a secondary comic series I may get off the ground later.
