Updates, polls, etc.
General | Posted 4 years agoFirst of all, I would like to apologize for the lack of streaming for the past couple of days. I have not been feeling well, and the heat certainly hasn't helped. However, God willing, I will do a stream as soon as possible, most likely tomorrow or the next day.
Second, I am doing a poll out of curiosity: Which kind of diaper does Avion look cutest wearing?
1. regular disposable
2. tied cloth
3. cloth with safety pin
4. swim diapers
5. pullups
Please leave your thoughts in the comments below.
And finally, the current queue:

Apologies and Updates
General | Posted 4 years agoFirst of all, let me apologize to you all for not being able to stream yesterday; for reasons still unknown to me, OBS Studio (the software I use to broadcast streams with) refused to cooperate with me or connect with the channel I use to stream on Picarto. Therefore I had to cancel the stream I had attempted to schedule yesterday. However, I did have some recycling errands to run, so I decided to bide my time going to the recycling center.
As for today, it was spent going around town to various stores running errands. For instance, I had to buy ink for our printer, but Mom didn't give me enough money for both HP ink cartridges (fun fact: it was the black cartridge, the 63 XL, that cost more than the 63 tri-color one, go figure!), so after Mom and Dad came home from Costco and had me unload the groceries, they had me run a couple more errands, mainly for glue traps for mice and the black ink cartridge, as well as a pork shoulder roast for tomorrow. And speaking of tomorrow, they are both going to a meeting of the BSA Owners' Club of Southern California tomorrow, so I will pretty much have the whole house to myself while they are gone. This means that, while the roast will take several hours to cook, and I plan to have lunch at the China Star Buffet around noon PDT, I will have plenty of time to start working on the comic tomorrow. Granted, I will most likely not be able to finish it for a couple of days, but I will definitely try to work on it tomorrow. I will let you all know when I can start the stream. Thank you all in advance for your patience and understanding.

Updates. Moving to a new PC
General | Posted 4 years agoTwo days ago I finally bought a brand new HP desktop at Wal-Mart:
https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachme.....3/DSC04852.JPG
It has a 1 TB hard drive, a 3.6 GHz Ryzen 3 CPU with built-in Radeon graphics, 8 GB of RAM, and a DVD-RW drive. And to top it all off, it only cost $464 after taxes! How about that? I also have an old HP Pavilion m8200n media center desktop that I bought back in 2008, on Valentine's Day no less. It cost $729.29 out the door, equivalent to $933.85 today, which is just over twice as much as the new one cost. Sadly now, the old desktop is broken, and just beeps when I try to turn it on. It restarts after a few seconds but never boots. So my plan is to sell it for spare parts, but I may reuse the old ATSC tuner card and some other parts on the new PC, since there are four unused expansion slots.
My old laptop has so many issues I just can't rely on it anymore, so I will be spending the next few days reinstalling all my programs onto the new desktop and setting it up to where I can draw and stream. I will also be wiping the hard drive of my old laptop, and trying to get rid of it. Maybe I can have it recycled at Best Buy or sell it for spare parts.
There is also the issue of my desktop (the actual desk, not the new computer) being cluttered with stuff I don't know where to put, so I will have to work on that as well. But when I'm done with it all, I will let you know.
One more thing, there are still six slots available on the second part of the YCH: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9923275/

Happy Father's Day!
General | Posted 4 years agoYes, it's that time of year again, when we show our fathers how much we appreciate them. I, for one, will be celebrating with beef brisket.
Also, I am really glad to have finished those commissions the past few days; now the only thing in my queue is two two-page comics for
GammaEradon. It's great not to have so much hanging over my head.
Also, a reminder: Six slots are still available for the Emergency YCH Fundraiser. If interested, please read this journal: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9897736/

General | Posted 4 years agoTwo days ago I took the shop cooler apart, checked it, and put it back together, only to find it was blowing out hot air sometime after I finished. Yesterday I took it apart again, this time I shoveled out mud that had collected inside of it, ultimately pumping out the remainder of the mud and putting the thing back together again. I even cleaned some debris off the element, and it seemed to work fine for a while. I was proud I had finally gotten it to work. Then, late in the afternoon, I found it was blowing out hot air again. Dad says he's going to need my help getting a new element. I also had gone from one Wal-Mart to another loking for a small wading pool for our dogs to cool off in, but apparently they are all out of them. I feel like such a failure lately.
Finally, to add to my woes even further, this morning I woke up to an unpleasant smell coming from my snake cage. On the 11th of this month, I fed two medium-sized rats to my pet ball python, Rascal, and apparently he must have vomited them up because they weren't digested. (They had been shriveled up, though.) It had been a long time since I last fed him, and I worry that he may be dying.I have had him since Christmas morning 1992, and he was a year old then. I would hate to lose him after so long. Maybe I shouldv'e fed him sooner.
Current queue:
SilverDruid--1 flat color commission (corrections needed);
GammaEradon--2 2-page comics;
DrebinGrey39--1 four-character commission.
I honestly don't know when I will have time to stream again, but I do ask for your understanding and that you please bear with me.

Important Update
General | Posted 4 years agoI regret to inform you all that as of today, I am no longer taking babyfur/diaperfur commissions. In fact, I am deleting all my babyfur/diaperfur art from my
warpwarp1929 account and closing this account.
Pending babyfur/diaperfur commissions will be completed soon, but they will not be uploaded here; you will have to ask for the Dropbox link for them.

Update
General | Posted 4 years agoOkay, for those wondering (and I'm sure there are plenty), I have been having a difficult week. The day before yesterday, my sister paid us a surprise visit and had dinner with us. Then yesterday, my aunt Julia came over with some gifts for Mom and Dad. This morning, the plumber arrived and fixed the issue we had with our kitchen drain, and this evening my brother and his family came over, again unannounced, with other gifts for them. This is just another example of why I cannot work on a definite schedule, as my home life makes my schedule wildly variable. Also, for reasons I can't possibly fathom, my left ankle has been hurting me really badly today, so walking has been really painful. Not to mention the Easter YCH is still in progress, and I have had a lot less energy/motivation to finish it than I would like to have. I also tried unsuccessfully (yet again!) to update my newer laptop to Windows 10 Version 20H2 today, as it took hours showing a blue screen with a message that said it would take a while, and the progress never got above 0%. Which was annoying.
So that's what's been happening to me for the last couple of days, and why I pretty much haven't been active. Don't worry though; I have every intention of getting my pending work done, even if it does take a while. All I ask is that you please be patient with me.
Current queue:
Agumonofalchemy--multiple illustrations for a book project (inking done, coloring started on first 2 pages);
Chistoso-TheJoke--1 two-page, nine-panel comic commission (both pages done, corrections in progress);
ChespinBeefeater--1 two-character commission (sketch done, finishing reserved for March 31st);
Anonymous--1 3-character lineart commission (sketched, revision to be done in the next few days).

Special double birthday stream
General | Posted 5 years agoFor those who didn't know, tomorrow is not only my 42nd birthday, but also the 37th birthday of one of my watchers, namely
MasterLeo, so tomorrow morning (no less than eleven hours from the time of posting this journal) I will be doing a special double birthday stream for both of us. If interested, you can watch at https://picarto.tv/CoffeehoundJoe/

General | Posted 5 years agoA few nights ago, Dad fell on the patio after tripping on a crack. It has left his ribs hurting, so much so that it's painful for him to cough. Yesterday he got an X-ray done, and today we got the results. Good news, his ribs aren't fractured; they're just badly bruised. Hopefully he'll get better soon, but it doesn't look like we'll be going on my birthday trip this weekend after all; we may have to postpone it for a week. However, if we do, then I will do a special double birthday stream on Sunday, since
MasterLeo shares a birthday with me.
Also, today Mom and Dad are going to the fairgrounds to get a Covid-19 vaccination. I wish them the best, but Dad's going to find walking around so much difficult.
Anyway, my polishing work is finished, so I should have some free time to stream today.

Also, sometime this month (perhaps on the 28th) I will be going on my birthday trip with my parents to Kernville, and Indian Wells Brewery in Inyokern. That's always a fun trip.

General | Posted 5 years agoFirst of all, I just learned that Rush Limbaugh, one of the greatest radio talk show hosts, has passed away. I used to listen to him a lot when I was younger, but lately I haven't been listening to radio at all.
R.I.P. Rush Limbaugh, you will be missed.
On a lighter note, yesterday I worked on the dishwasher's drain tube. Once again I had to take the dishwasher out and apart, clean it, and drain it. This time, however, I had to remove the rubber hose into which the drain tube discharges. Then I took it to the shop, and blew through it with 120 psi of compressed air. At first, it didn't work, but ultimately I was able to clear it out using a combination of compressed air and scalding hot water. I did make a great big mess though, which I then cleaned up. Then I put the dishwasher back together, reconnected the drainage tube to the hose, and drained it into a bucket. It drained without any problems, so I reconnected the rubber hose to the dish drain, ran the dishwasher, and went to lunch to celebrate my victory. After I got back, when the dishwasher was finished, it had drained fully. So that problem is resolved, but now we're waiting for a part for the clothes washer to arrive today so we can install it. That should be simple. This morning, Mom noticed that the sink isn't draining properly, and there appears to be a leak around where I was working yesterday. Just when I thought I finally had the issue fully resolved, this has to happen. I don't know when I'll have extra time to work on commissions. Sorry I wasn't able to get around to making birthday gifts for
00aa or
ShinKitsune yesterday, but at least now you know why.

Update
General | Posted 5 years agoFirst of all, to those of you who participated in the Valentine's Day YCH, I want to thank all of you. I am still quite surprised by how quickly it went; hopefully I can continue to improve my art in both speed and quality.
Secondly, today I have been cooking beef briskets, but it looks as though they will be done way sooner than I expected. So I may have some time to do a stream later today.
Third, this morning my Dad went to have a procedure done, and good news--he's cancer-free! I am so glad!
Fourth, tomorrow is Chinese New Year's Day, and it'll be the Year of the Ox. So I will have to do a special stream tomorrow to fit the theme.

A strange dream I had last night
General | Posted 5 years agoOkay, I know this has absolutely nothing to do with my commissions or streams, but I feel a need to tell you all about a dream I had last night. Keep in mind, this may come as quite a shock to some of you, even those of you who have known me for some time.
Are you ready to hear about it?
Are you sure?
Okay, but you've been warned...
I had a dream that I was wearing diapers under my clothes! No joke, I swear! And while I can't remember if I encountered anyone in my family, nobody seemed to notice!
Maybe this dream is a sign of things to come. Like maybe I am meant to be an AB/DL.
What's that? I've had this kind of dream before, and told you about it? Well, that doesn't surprise me at all. How I could manage to hide a thing like this from my family, I have no idea. I would, however, like to know what you all think about this.
Are you ready to hear about it?
Are you sure?
Okay, but you've been warned...

Update
General | Posted 5 years agoI got a lot to cover today, so let's just start at the beginning.
For the longest time now, I have been thinking of not doing any more babyfur/diaperfur art. You know why? Because, when I first started uploading to Fur Affinity, I only ever meant for babyfur/diaperfur content to be a passing phase; I never intended it to be anything more than that. However, I made the mistake of letting babyfur/diaperfur art get out of hand, to the point where it now makes up the bulk of my content on my main account, and ultimately became the entirety of content for which this account was created in the first place. I haven't noticed any improvement in how I draw babyfur stuff, despite doing it for over five years. You'd think I'd get better at it by now. It even got to a point where I was thinking of deleting all the humiliation/babyfur/fetish art on my
warpwarp1929 account, never going back to making that kind of content again, and even deactivating this account. However, because many of you watch me mostly or entirely for my babyfur content, and others for the humiliation stuff, I have changed my mind, and decided to keep on doing these kinds of art. I would, however, like to be commissioned for other things on my main account, since I don't want to just be remembered for being the guy who draws babyfurs or the guy who draws humiliation; I don't want that to define me.
Now for New Year's resolutions. This year I plan to:
1. Lose weight and eat healthy. Lately it's been uncumfortable for me to move about because I'm so out of shape, and I worry that I may not be able to get down to my ideal weight.
2. Improve my art. I haven't had much time to do this, between frantically trying to finish pending commissions and working around the house.
3. Work on getting commissions done in a timely manner. This is one of the biggest problems I face lately and it's really embarrassing that I can't seem to get anything done on time.
4. Try to cut down on the drama. 'Nuff said.
There also are still 10 slots left in the New Year's Day YCH. for further information please read this journal: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9727859/
Last, but not least, here is the current queue:
Agumonofalchemy--multiple illustrations for a book project (inking done, coloring started on first 2 pages);
jahubbard--1 two-character January commission (to be worked on later);
Rogeykun--1 6-panel comic sketch commission (also to be worked on later).

General | Posted 5 years agoFor those wondering, my Christmas was, to say the least, pretty unusual. I knew it would be, but I didn't know it would be this unusual. I got just about everything I wanted, and I'm sure it'll keep me occupied even once my current commissions queue is cleared. Will and Kyla got me some Manga paper and some cool Japanese markers in a bunch of colors (I'm sure to enjoy those!). I also got The Complete Guide to Japanese Kanji, which I've wanted for some time, and also a toned grey sketchbook and smooth Bristol board. I even got a colorful Christmas-themed coloring book.
Yep, this has been a pretty good Christmas, all things considered. The absence of Barbara and Danny made it a little less enjoyable but, to make up for it, they will be over around January 1st for a second Christmas party. Maybe next year we can prepare better for Christmas, and not fall behind schedule.
