I've noticed a rather large amount of journals being posted on FA regarding change, as of late. I find it funny because I had been contemplating writing a journal on the subject for a while.... and then there was a flood of them.

Change is indeed in the air. People enter and exit our lives unexpectedly. Things that would seemingly last forever, abruptly end. Our lives suddenly change and all we can do is try to keep going with the flow. It's a terrifying and exciting part of life. You never know what the next day, hour, minute, or second will bring.

For me personally, there have been many changes this year. I've bought a house, became more social and made some amazing friends, gotten in shape, traded glasses for contacts, and seven years after highschool I finally have enrolled myself into a program so I can do something with my life. It mostly hasn't been a bad year. There have been a few big negatives.. and I'm still learning how to cope with them...

I've also noticed a lot of these "change" journals end in the person saying they're leaving for good or taking a break for a bit. I wish them all well and hope they find what theyre looking for. As for me....

I don't plan on leaving anytime soon.

Well Rainfurrest is done and the furries have all gone back to their dens, nests, etc etc... Being my first con it was a bit overwhelming at first, but in the end I had an amazing time. I did some dancing, drinking, shopping and met so many amazing people I can't wait to see again. I haven't had that much fun in a very long time.

I'd especially like to thank for breaking me out of my shell. None of it would have been possible without you! Thank you for putting up with me following you around and stepping on your big ass paws on the dance floor. You're an amazing friend.

In other news, I'm hoping to go back to school in the next coming months. It's very possible in the next year I could be on my way to becoming a firefighter. I'm also considering getting a fursuit made of Uno, and have been shopping around. The last bit of news for now is I probably will be deactivating this account sometime soon and opening and new one that makes it easier to find me. Most people looking for Uno would never think to look for a foxy porkchop, lol.

I haven't put up a real journal in a while. To the new watchers, thank you a bunch for spying on me!

I'll be lurking around Rainfuurest this year, first con ever! I'll be rooming with and and probably pouncing around with them most of the con....Possibly quite hammered if Nitro has anything to say about it. You should still definitely come and nudge me and say hello. I'm always happy to meet new friends!

Other than that, today is my 25 birthday, and I have found myself doing a lot of reflecting on my life. There should be some significant changes coming and I am thinking of starting to draw again, as it has been a loooong time.

Anyway, I am here to say that I am still alive and actually going to start drawing again tonight. It's been far too long and I have a few different ideas going around in my head that I decided I need to get out. Work really takes it's toll on my mind and body but I feel it is time I force myself to draw. Hopefully this will break my streak of wasted time not posting anything. I look forward to sharing with you in the coming days/week. I MIGHT even start taking requests if I can get into the swing of things and anyone is interested.


But enough about me. If you're reading this, how are you doing? I am very grateful to all of you who haven't taken me off of your watch list while I was on my little hiatus. Please take the time to amuse this bored otter and tell me something interesting. :p

Hello again all,

I thought I would give a small update. My job is going ok. It is very physical and beats me up. I find myself very sore and tired, I find I don't have much time to doodle because when I'm not working I am usually collapsed on the bed snoring like a maniac. My body is starting to get used to it though, so I am not feeling so bad these days. I've also lost 7 pounds and gained some solid arms so far, hehe.

On another note, Saturday, 9/11, was my b-day, so I am now another year older and slightly wiser... I think. 24 feels an awful lot like 23 to me.

I have really been craving some drawing time, so on my next day off I'm going to try and pump out some artz. I think I need some sexy stuff in my submissions... So look forward to seeing some naughty bits. I know I do.

I got the job, I am now employed, which is awesome. This house has interested parties, which means I am closer to selling it getting out of it and into a new condo with my other half. These are good things, people. Expect more art soon. As soon as I figure out what to doodle, that is.

Mr. Porkchop has news!!

I finally have a job interview tomorrow. This is a good thing!

Not only because $$$ = more coffee for me, but it also could be a very good booster emotionally for me. A happy otter means a productive otter, which in turn means a doodle happy one. Things are still rough right now, still waiting to move to a better place, still feeling blah, I still don't have many friends up here yet, but this one change will do wonders for me.

I still want to thank you guys for hanging in there with me. Some of you might have even forgotten that you're watching me by now, but I see that your numbers are still growing, slowly, but steady. I know I am at fault because I have been one boring ass mustelid for a month or so, but I do see things getting better soon.

Wish me luck on this...

Well currently looking at my page, there are 22 of you now. That's 22 more than I thought I would get. I really appreciate each of you for watching my stuff. I haven't posted anything in a while now, and that is because my home life right now is kind of getting turned upside down. a lot of stuff going on and I don't even know where I'll be living in the coming month or so.

With so much crap going on, it's been hard for me to concentrate or get motivated enough to draw anything. I know I owe commissions, and I will work on them still. For now though, I dunno when I will push out another picture. Maybe soon, I am antsy.


Anyway, I just want to thank you all again for watching my little page, and I will hopefully have either more art or a new update for you soon.

As I have been watching my little corner of FA grow one by one in Watchers, I decided it was probably time I at least said something. So for those who think I have something worth lookin' at, I thank you very much. I know my art isn't perfect, and I am pretty new to it, but seeing that list slowly grow is encouraging.

I just finished my Uno piece, and I am now sitting here deciding what the next piece I do will be. I am noticing the quality of my art getting better bit by bit and I'm excited to see where it goes.
