Emergency Writing Commissions Open
Posted 2 weeks agoMy financial situation is yet to improve, so I'm still open to piecing together commissions to help with that in whatever little way they can.
Cost: Prices are negotiable. I usually like to hear my client's offer after receiving a two page preview of the commission from me, based on what they feel like the product will be roughly worth according to their satisfaction with that preview. I at least expect around $40-60, but could possibly go lower if it's a very short and simple idea that can be quickly thrown together. And of course, more would also be appreciated, but I'm trying to be considerate to what my client thinks it's worth, since I still have no real idea what's commonly charged for writing commissions of my quality. Payments should be done through PayPal.
Themes: Vore is preferred, but fetish-related complements to it may include bondage, hypnosis and transformation, among other things. I can also write stories that don't involve vore, and are perhaps not fetish-oriented at all, but the vore theme works best for me when it comes to short stories of this nature.

Younger Gamers and Control Configuration
Posted a month agoSometimes I wonder. With how many games nowadays use trigger buttons for primary actions, I wonder if that affects how younger gamers configure their controls in retro games. Back in the day, the shoulder buttons were exclusively used for auxiliary actions. I never heard of anyone setting primary controls (like attacking or jumping) to buttons like L and R. But because of how that dynamic has shifted with certain genres, I wonder if people who grew up with modern games are more comfortable having those kinds of functions set to shoulder buttons when playing older games.
Like, if a kid today were to go back and play something like Mega Man X. Would they set the jump and fire buttons to L and R, because that's what they're used to from all their first-person shooters?

Question for Dragon Quest 5 (SFC) Veterans
Posted a month agoBefore anything else, bear in mind that this is strictly a yes or no question. Any elaboration or further information will be strongly disdained. Despite the length of this journal, DO NOT leave an extensive answer, as anything aside from my precisely requested information would be considered a spoiler. Thank you.
I'm recently playing through the original Dragon Quest 5 for the first time and could use some help figuring something out. Is it possible to recruit new monsters when your party and caravan are full? I've heard some accounts say yes, that the monsters will be sent straight to the monster day care. But after having cleared two entire dungeons (one of which I technically ran through twice to grab some chests I missed), and just now having farmed about 50 consecutive battles on the field to try testing it myself to no avail, I'm having my doubts about that information. Especially since there are later versions of the game that could be confusing either people or AI answers. Made all the trickier by trying to find a 100% spoiler-free answer to the question, preventing me from digging any deeper into the game's mechanics.
So, assuming anyone who happens to see this journal is qualified, I want to hear it from somebody with extensive experience playing the original Dragon Quest 5. Is it possible, in the SNES version of Dragon Quest 5, for new monster recruits to offer to join you when your active party and caravan are both full? Again, only provide a yes or no answer.

Emergency Writing Commissions Open
Posted 2 months agoCurrently open for writing commissions to help dig me out of my recent financial troubles. Or at least keep me mildly afloat until the situation improves.
Cost: Prices are negotiable, but I expect to roughly range from $40-60. Preferably paid through PayPal.

Emergency writing commissions
Posted 2 months agoI've never done commissions before. Heck, I'm not even entirely sure what to charge for them. I don't know what would be considered a reasonable rate for both participants. But my financial position has taken a rather disastrous nosedive lately, and frankly I just need the help. It goes without saying that my forte is vore, but through RPs I also have some experience with bondage, transformation, and hypnosis, although I may know a bit less about certain intricacies that might tickle one's fancy when it comes to those topics. Especially if they're done without being tied to vore.
Any questions or comments, feel free to leave them here or as a note. Thank you.
Edit: Oh, and forgot to mention that payments would best be handled through Paypal.

What Kind of Vore Day Person Are You?
Posted 3 months ago1: The type of person who eagerly anticipates it.
2: The type of person who is rather indifferent about it.
3: The type of person who, every year unfailing, completely forgets it's even a thing until everyone starts talking about it.
I'm the third type.

Favorite Vore Complements
Posted 3 months agoI may have made this exact journal (or similar) before. But the idea crossed my mind this morning, so I figured what the hell. Here are some of my favorite complements to vore scenarios.
Food Play/Cooking: This is pretty self-explanatory, but I do enjoy when prey is properly treated as food. Prepped and cooked into an actual meal. I love most forms of cooking, and can range from gentle to brutal. I'm even down for the prey surviving being cooked, still alive when they're served on a plate. However, probably my weirdest quirk when it comes to cooking, and one that some people would probably find to be quite unpalatable, is that I prefer the prey's fur to remain intact. For me, the most important aspect of an appealing prey is their appearance, and their fur is part of that appearance. So even if it doesn't make any realistic sense, I prefer the prey to be prepped and cooked without any shaving, or seeing their fur burn away in the oven. Although I can make exceptions to that, I rather the prey retain their general appearance while being eaten.
Bondage: A great way to not only make sure that the prey can't get away, but can also do wonders for the meal's presentation. You can pose them however you want to accentuate certain assets, humiliate the prey, or simply cement their helplessness as they squirm to no avail while the predator takes that first bite. And of course, you can't forget shoving an apple into the prey's mouth as part of the bondage experience.
Hypnosis: While it can be fun to watch prey squirm, it can also be enjoyable when they simply give themselves up to being food. Although I'm not a huge fan of willing prey without any sort of reason behind it, I do enjoy the idea of prey being hypnotized or mind-controlled into offering themselves to be eaten. It can even be done with reluctance or unwillingness behind it, such as the prey's body being controlled but not their mind. It can also be a fun way to totally dominate prey who would otherwise be too strong for the predator to subdue. Turning an insurmountable alpha into little more than another link on the food chain.
Transformation: This is specifically associated with human prey. Particularly because I'm not a fan of human characters when it comes to vore. However, I do think there's some fun to be had when you take a human, and transform them into a more delicious form before gobbling them up. Accentuating their place and that they're about to be eaten by first turning them into some helpless or lowly animal, instilling fear before the predator makes their intentions very clear. And if you want, you can even play with the idea of the prey realizing that even if they do manage to escape, they'll be stuck living this new life they've been given. Unable to change back into a human. Which could play into the predator demoralizing and capturing them.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Question
Posted 4 months agoThis question is for people who have seen the latest seasons of Bleach. I've recently found myself in a position that I can finally look into watching those, but I wanted to ask something of people who have already seen what's available all the way through. Is the series actually over? Not just this arc, but the entire story (I don't read or follow manga, so I don't know if this was the final arc in that). Also, on that note, if it is over, then is it only the three seasons (that's all that I was seeing when I was checking it)? I'm curious because that would affect how I go about watching the show. If it's already complete, then I might as well just watch a few episodes whenever it's most convenient. But if it's still ongoing, then there's no reason to rush since I still have to wait for new episodes anyway, so I might as well savor it by watching maybe only one episode a week.
Snacking
Posted 5 months agoIf things like nutrition, money, health, and getting full weren't things, I would probably spend like 90% of my time snacking. I'm not overweight, despite what this journal may imply, but I just really love to almost always be munching on something. Even if I'm not particularly hungry, I like to have a flavor occupying my mouth.
Same goes for hard candies, if not for concerns like cavities and excessive sugar. If there were no negative repercussions, I would probably be always sucking on some sort of butterscotch, caramel, or fruity candy like Jolly Ranchers. Popping one into my mouth immediately after the current one has dissolved.

Board Games Into Video Games
Posted 8 months agoI recently picked up a board game on a whim because the theme sounded right up my alley. After reading the instructions, I look forward to the opportunity to play it, which will hopefully come sooner rather than later. But it got me thinking. I have a ton of board games that I pretty much never get to play, because I either don't get together with people very often for doing that, or they don't accommodate the right number of players needed for the gathering, or we as a group decide to spend that time playing different games instead. Making me wish that some of them had video game adaptions, specifically with the option to play against computer opponents, so that I could just play them anytime I want.
Does anybody else have board games like that? Games you wish had a video game adaption on your console of choice, so if you get the itch to play but nobody is around, you could start up a match with some CPUs instead. Going with CPUs since online still requires players to be looking for a match at the same time as you, and online games can see their communities die off, making the computer option more reliable for playing on a whim.

Tomato with Rye Bread?
Posted 10 months agoI normally don't buy rye bread. In fact, today may be the very first time I ever bought rye bread. But the pickings were slim at the dollar store, and I decided to try something different than my usual go-tos of white, sourdough, or potato bread. That said, after taking a couple bites, my mind was screaming at me that the sandwich needed a slice of tomato (aside from that, it was a simple sandwich of mustard, lettuce, cheese, and bologna). And with every bite, I just kept thinking more and more that a tomato was exactly the thing that the sandwich was missing, and needed. So much so, that I was prompted to come here, and ask if that's just my imagination. Or if anybody who knows better actually feels like tomato belongs on a rye bread sandwich. Because my mind was screaming it so loud, like my taste buds were convinced that the two were made to go together.
Okami 2's Greatest Hurdle
Posted 10 months agoWithout a doubt, the biggest challenge facing the development of Okami 2 is topping Ninetails. Both as a general villain, and as a predator for the delicious heroine.
World of Rich Gamers
Posted 11 months agoImagine, if you will. A world where all gamers are billionaires. Because they earn a nickle every time they lose in a game, and say, "One more try." Only to then lose again, and say, "One more try. That last one didn't count."
Left, or Right Joy-Con?
Posted 12 months agoWhen playing games that use the single Joy-Con controller, I prefer the right-handed controller. Not really because I'm right-handed myself, since most games I play that use a single Joy-Con seldom, if ever require you to hold the controller vertically (Mario Party being perhaps the one exception). Rather, it's mainly because when using the right Joy-Con, the start button is in the proper place. 35 years of gaming muscle memory cannot adapt to needing to use my left thumb to pause a game. I'll instead try to pause with my right thumb, and hit nothing because there's no button there. Or wind up accidentally taking a snapshot of the screen, instead. Perhaps as I'm dying in the game, because it didn't pause the game like it should've done.
Riddles...
Posted a year agoI hate them. It may just be because my brain is wired to look at everything extremely literally, but I can never figure them out. And even when I do figure them out, or have somebody else tell me the answer, half the time they either still don't make sense, or I can't fathom how a sensible person is supposed to have drawn that conclusion. I just can't put myself in the mindset of riddles making any sense.

Perhaps the most annoying thing to me with vore content
Posted a year agoPerhaps the thing that I find most annoying when it comes to any sort of vorish content is when the word "vore" is used as a verb in place of a more conventional word choice like "eat."
Metal Storm: Expert Mode
Posted a year agoI consider myself a bit of an NES veteran. At the very least, I've been playing the console on and off for most of my life, and I've beaten some of the games that are considered the toughest. That said though, I've recently been giving expert mode in Metal Storm a try, and holy shit the perfection it demands of the player is insane. And I'm only on the second level, where I've probably died a good hundred times already. Does anybody else know what I'm talking about?
Biggest problem with Final Fantasy Tactics
Posted a year agoThere's way too many abilities that make other abilities useless. For how expansive the customization in the game is, a lot of that customization winds up being redundant. And sure, some abilities may be easier to access early on, giving a sense of progression from one ability to the next, but that only serves to restrict customization, and make it seem like there's way more options than there are. Not to mention that some of that progression is completely backwards. Like getting Jump +3 from the Dancer for more job points than it costs to get Ignore Height from the Lancer, which is a job you need to level up to even get access to Dancer in the first place.
Maybe it's just me, but with a game like this, I feel like every ability should be viable by the end, and have some sort of specific advantages over its peers that do the same thing but better. There shouldn't be skills that outright outclass others in every way.
