Hiya! Well, the title already tells everything. I’ve been kinda busy with job and my side projects, so I was already behind with my usual projects. The problem was a heat wave we had in the last weeks and I got sick because that (I had stomach sickness, headache and overall unwell; I was told it was a virus infection, but I feared it was some tropical disease like dengue, which it’s been spreading for some time where I live. Well, hot climate countries problems, I guess…). I’m already better now. I just need to keep myself hydrated and keep avoiding heavy, greasy foods during hot weather like that.

So, well, with that out of my way, I can go back to work… But I’m late as heck. I’m posting a Valentine’s Day pic today (yeah, it’s been a month I should have posted that), and I still have to finish and post the Year of the Snake pic and an animation test I made inspired by Brazilian Carnival.

First of all, Happy 2025 for everyone! I hope you guys have had fun in the holiday, and that any obstacle will be easily overcame in this new year! 💪🏼

Second, sorry if I went missing for that long. Lots of stuff happened in the last six months, both bad stuff and good stuff. First, my mom broke her foot in September, so I needed to help her for some time (principally because our house has a staircase and it was very hard to her to move around; she's okay now, though, although still feeling a bit of pain, but much less than before, and she's recovering very well). Next, I had a study opportunity. I got a (online) game development course as a raffle prize in one of the places I've been working at, so it's something nice I always wanted to learn but never got the chance or time to do (although I already have tried some years ago). So, let's see what I can do with that. Need to keep studying before finally put the ideas in practice.

I just need to organize myself a bit. I also have some pics planned (including a very delayed New Year pic I had no time to work on it, since I was out of the town since December 15 and only got back yesterday).

First of all, I hope all you guys had a very good Easter. I was sick during the weekend (talk about bad timing... 😅), so only now I'm getting better. Probably I will be able to get back to eating chocolate until this weekend. 😄

I had a couple of Easter/Bunny Day themed pics scheduled (including a remake/"sequel" of a very old pic), but ended not finishing them in time. I'm working on them right now and probably will post them during this weekend/next week.

Also, if nothing else happen, commissions will be open from April 10th. I've read a couple of kinda doom-y journals from other artists (mostly mentioning AI and other issues) which made me question myself about that, but screw that thinking. I'm gonna try it anyway. So, wish me luck, as usual. 😉

Hiya, guys! First of all, happy new year (almost one month later, yes 😅)! 2023 was kinda rough for me (because work and such, reason why I disappeared for half of the year), but I hope this year be better and less exhausting. Hope you guys had lots of fun these days!

I’m still recovering my energies before get back to my regular activities. I’m just finishing some stuff before that (I’m gonna have them ready to post in the end of the month, probably). Also, thinking on open for commissions again in early February, but I will study that possibility (I don't wanna risk of anything happening in the mean time). I’m gonna let you guys know when I do it, okay? ^^

Just passing by to tell I've been sick in the last few days, due some side effects from my Covid shot (It's probably the fourth shot I had to take, since it's a booster from the last shots). I hadn't any problem to breathe, but my stomach was very weird and I had a strong headache. I'm okay now, though (at least since today's morning).

If I didn't answered anything these days, that's the why.

So... Back to the normal activities. ^^

I had the chance to try the game these days (played on the Switch of a friend). So, is that the wet dream of Pokémon players from 2013? Personally, I liked it. :) Even with the time consuming gameplay, typical from open world games, I think this is what the franchise needed as soon it hit the Nintendo Switch. It really makes me wonder why Pokemon Sword/Shield weren't like this.

The graphics, though... They are really weird (at least for me, since I was used to that cartoony 3D models from 3DS games), but, surprisingly, it doesn't affect so much the gameplay. I mean, it's easy to find stuff in the screen, but anime-like characters in a realistic world... It's not what I expected. To be honest, I even don't think it actually works (principally when comparing to Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, with a world and characters in mostly the same style).

4,5 stars of 5, I guess. It's almost perfect, but it really needs a more consistent art direction. I hope the 9th Gen have a better style, but I really like where it's going to.

Coming back to normal activities soon. I had to take a break to handle some issues in order to concentrate better in learning 3D and animation. Since I've been making progress in both areas, I suppose I can take easy with that.

First of all, Merry Christmas for everyone. I hope you guys have had fun, have had care with yourselves and with your beloved ones, and have had, at least, good memories from this messy year (if it is even possible). Thanks goodness, me and my family are okay, so I'm really thankful for we have got through all of that unharmed.

Second; I really feel I need to apologize about the lack of arts in the last couple of months. But it was because a good reason. I got a temporary job and, although I have worked from home (the contract ended in December 23th), I've been too busy and/or tired to draw (my last pic [NSFW], from early December, took around one week, from concept to finish and posting), so I even couldn't think on something for Christmas (sorry! Although New Year pic is still possible, but will be delayed).

The good part, though, is that this job allowed me to buy a new PC (my old, good laptop is practically dying lately, turning off itself because overheating, and lots of keys from the keyboard already stopped working, including important keys like ALT and WIN keys). I'm still getting used with the new gear (principally with Windows 10), but I'm feeling real optimistic about it, since I want to focus on learning 3D and game developing (and general coding).

So, well, wish me luck (as always xD), and I see you guys in 2021! \o/

Well... Here I am, back from another unplanned hiatus. I’m almost convinced that is impossible for me to just tend my projects (or even my life) without having at least one anxiety crisis per year (and, to be honest, I just can’t take it anymore).

So, basically, I'm gonna use October to try and get back in shape (art-wise, at least). It means that I'm not doing Inktober this year (I even couldn't think in a theme or get a list, for starters) and commissions will be closed until at least October 15th. Sorry for the trouble and thanks a lot for the patience. :)

Aaaand... 34th turn around the Sun completed successfully! ^^

That was something that have been in my mind for a couple of weeks. Basically, I’m planning to make cheaper commissions (no more than $10) in a simpler style and quicker to make (basically chibi, in flat colors, no more than two characters). Maybe something in that “Animal Crossing” look.

This idea was inspired by the situation of lots of people, who need to save money because quarantine, and my own situation, since the governmental help was denied (welp, this freaking country is a damn mess, anyway… ^^;).

Objections? Ideas? If everything helps, I hope to begin this project until May 1st.

Well, I just need it. I was fighting a anxiety crisis which began shortly after the last commission, so only in this week I’m beginning to feel in conditions to get back to my normal activities. That Corona crisis doesn’t help too. Even so, I think I need one more week to plan myself about what I want to do next. ^^

Well, I’m writing this to thank everyone who liked, faved, commented, watched and commissioned me during the Cat-tober! I’m really happy with the outcome of this project and it really makes me feel more motivated to keep making my stuff. ^^ No need to say this theme month was as success, indeed (even if I couldn’t make everything I had planned, but I’m glad even so). So, to the next project! (I’m accepting suggestions, if anyone have :) )

For a while, I just had to take a break for cool down (I mean, literally. It’s too freaking hot here!) before to work on the ideas I couldn’t draw for the month, before go to other pics and the projects I did put on hold (like that one I was making Pokémon trainers as otters, which I barely began… ^^;).

Oh, and for the ones who are wondering… I actually had a Halloween pic planned, but I didn’t like the idea (in the middle of the process) and ended scrapping it. Maybe in the next year…

Yeah, once again, I needed a time for myself (I really need to remember of letting you guys know when it happens... -.- Depression is an incredibly huge pile of shit, principally in this season of the year...). Hiya, people! And a (kinda belated) Happy Halloween! I hope you guys had fun and enjoyed it!

Well, basically I’m writing this journal to thank everyone for the Fox Month. One thing I really like about these theme months is that my brain becomes a freaking idea factory! Seriously, it’s really good because I’m in the middle of the process of creating a themed piece and, when I notice, I already had a bunch of other ideas based on that one I was working on. ^^ Now I just need to take a time to decide which ones are good to make or even if I’m on the technical level of them (or just file them and wait for the moment I’m good enough to put them on a canvas).

So, I think that this month (as happened with Bunny Month I did in March), it was a real success. I didn’t draw so much as I wanted, but I’m really satisfied with the pics I was able to produce. I still have some unfinished sketches so I think I’ll just try to finish and post them soon, before begin with other stuff.

Oh, and I really have lots of thanks for  darfix for the commissions. As I said some time ago, I’m currently unemployed and the money is very welcome in times like these, besides the fact I always have lots of fun with his ideas! ^^ Although the promo is over, I’m still accepting commissions until the end of the year (or at least until I get a job, which is really hard for now).

And, since I’m thanking to people, I would like to extend the thanks for everyone who liked, faved, commented and watched/followed me during this time! :D I think you guys know it is really a boost for me and it shows me I’m on the right way. So, thanks a lot, guys! *^^*

Well… this is (kinda) the journal I said I was going to write. I actually have wrote a different journal, as I usually do before posting, but, after a couple of days (and looking from a more rational point of view), it looked as crap (basically, it was a rant about how my life has become a shit and how I hate the government and everything it’s part of it… I’m sure no one would want to read that. ^^)
So, this is the real resume of the last months. As you guys must have noticed, the time between posts have become longer than I wanted. This is because, between July and August’s end, lots of stuff happened (lost my job, my father became ill and I had a major panic attack because that. He's already better, what is a great relief), but I’m trying to do my best to keep the pace.

So, I’m focusing my efforts to do what makes me happy while I’m trying to figure out what to do (and, if it makes other people happy too, it’s already a great victory!).
I think I want to do another theme month. I'm not actually in the mood for Inktober in the next month (since my planning was ruined), but I want to do something anyways. I already had some ideas and want to know what you guys think of them (suggestions are appreciated too). Basically, my options in the moment are:

-Cat-tober (cats and other felines; the idea I'm more inclined to, to be honest)
-Fox-tober (foxes and kitsunes), and
-Ott-ober (otters)

I’m thinking if I make a poll about it. We’re gonna know in a couple of days.

I just wanted to thank everyone for the Bunny Month! I think I can consider it a success, anyways (although I lacked a bit of planning, since I had a lot of unfinished/unused ideas, but I had a lot of fun in the process).

Well… Actually, I’ve been thinking a lot lately about make a “theme month” (think of it as something like I did in the last Inktober, when I drew mostly Pokémon). So, since I’m feeling like drawing rabbits, I decided to try a hand (or paw) on it (and, with Easter on the corner, I’m already planning what I will make for that holiday). Any bunny could work, since my OCs to famous characters (so, I’m planning both practice my rabbit characters and draw some pics of characters like Lola Bunny or something like that).

Also, there is other stuff I wanted to do. Although I haven’t advertised for commissions, I’m open for it (I never closed, actually… *^^*), but I would like to announce a kind of offer: for anyone who commission me for draw rabbit characters, it will be 25% off for this month and it will be valid for Flats Colors and Cel Shaded commissions, both SFW or NSFW (I’m working on an “official announce” pic right now but, if you are interested, you already can commission me in these conditions). I already was planning to put more effort in advertising, and I think it’s the perfect opportunity for that. :D I’m still planning what to do for those who commissioned me before, though.
