Selling Ares! Taking Payment Plans If Needed!!

So after months of thought and thinking this over. I think it is time to let Ares go.
Ares was made and designed at one of the lowest points in my life. I was broken, and I needed to do something to put myself back together. This is where Ares came from concept wise to what he is now. Essentially he was medication that I no longer am in need of.
Due to this I am selling Ares, and will be taking offers on him, money only please no trades. I am looking for $2000, but this can be discusses as well as set up payment plans if needed. Or I will accept the next best offer.

This is for advertisement purposes only. Under no circumstances is anyone to use/claim or even bother asking me to use Ares as their Fursona.
Ares is ME/MINE.
Again, I shouldn't even have to explain this, this should be the only time I should have to explain this.
Artists that produce the art don't have to ask for permission to post art of Ares because guess what? I paid for them to draw Ares!
Random people? If I find out/am told that Ares is being used elsewhere I will take action.
There have been too many instances where I find my characters being used in situations I would NEVER be putting them in and it genuinely disgusts me.
As well as the fact, if you have the audacity to ask me "Can I use your character as my Fursona?" Get your head out of your damn ass.
You're directly asking permission to take something I worked on with several artists, wrote stories for, and brought to life to just be given to you?
Look, it's real simple, there are plenty and I mean PLENTY of FREE TO USE BASES on FA from SEVERAL artists. If you want a sona that BADLY but don't want to pay?
USE ONE OF THE HUNDREDS OF FREE PICTURE EDITING SOFTWARE OUT THERE IN THE WORLD AND USE ONE OF THOSE BASES!
Don't EVER ask someone to take their identity from them and use them for yourself.

General | Posted 6 years agoLet's start from the beginning. Ares was your average doberman from childhood, never getting into trouble and always trying to help people. His father was a drunk, and part of the Mafia, he would constantly find any reason to take his frustrations out on his son. Not to say Ares didn't live a comfortable life, his father was the boss' right hand, so he pretty much lived on the house compound of the boss. This however didn't deter his father from taking that pent up anger from his "job" on the child growing up. The young pup would go to school marked and covered in stitches, but no one did anything knowing who his father was, and Ares wasn't one to open his mouth as a child. He kept to himself, ate alone, played alone, and went home alone.
As time went one, Ares was on the verge of graduating high school, top of his class, star Rugby Captain of his year. Just as he thought things in his life were finally going in the right direction, thinking he could leave his life behind, the mafia, his dad, everything. However this wasn't the case, his father had given him two options, which he really had no choice between the two. This was due to the fact that he could get no scholarships while the colleges and businesses about his family's status. Even though he saved some money over the years from doing small odd jobs for subordinates in the syndicate. The options his father gave him were to join the family business and be the Boss' daughters guard, or be disowned and hunted down like a feral beast. Being forced into situations wasn't uncommon for Ares in growing up, so he silently accepted his father's proposal and took the job.
To the recent past, now this is where things start to get a bit interesting for the canine. His father has passed, and he has taken his place as the the head's right hand, and chosen guard of his Daughter. The job he was given gave Ares little time of his own since he had to do his regular jobs for the mob, while also keeping tabs on his "dove", which is what the group called the head member's daughters. One day, though things didn't go as planned, the boss' daughter wanted nothing to do with the family anymore, and ran away. Ares, being her guardian chased after her, hunting her down to bring her back home because he knew what would happen if anything happened to this dove. However there was another thing Ares needed to worry about, something even he never thought about. The boss already knew the canine's intentions when he was just a child. Abusive father, not the most welcoming life to live being part of the mafia, and all of this always left a lingering thought in the back of Ares' head, get out when and as soon as you can. This was knowledge the head was fully aware of and as soon as he heard that his daughter had run away, Ares was suspect number one, especially since the doberman chased after her with such vigor. In the dark, behind the curtains, a plan was rising to turn the tables and hunt Ares, take him out and bring the dove back. Now, Ares could typically hold his own against most of the top fighters and assassins for the house, however even he couldn't have counted on what happened next to ever happen. He was surrounded, all of the head killers of the house leaving him with no way to run. Not being able to run, or even think of it, he tried to beg them to listen, to no avail. They had bound his legs together, arms behind his back as they began to hack away at him part by part. Once the job was done, they left him in that very alley they surrounded him in, not like anyone would bother going after the group knowing what they could do.
A beam of light to the story, a happy ending? One would hope so for this man who worked so virtuously his whole life to be better than the life he was given. He was dying, body parts scattered across the place, his consciousness was already slipping away. The color of his fur fading and slowly turning white, his green eyes slowly fading from the inner part of the iris from green to blue. However it wasn't long before an emancipated doctor from a neighboring city was hunting the alleys for his next specimen since he knew that most dead corpses were just laying around in this city. Stumbling upon Ares, the doctor's face grew with a terrifying almost insane smile while he began to scramble around to collect the pieces. Once he gathered everything he dumped the parts into a tank on a dolly that preserved the body parts, almost a living gel. Phasing in and out of consciousness Ares couldn't make sense of anything, thoughts running wild, was he dead, was he alive? He genuinely couldn't tell during this time. Once brought back to the doctor's home lab, the doctor didn't work slowly since he knew he had very limited time before he lost this subject. Switching the the body parts from one vat to a larger one, the doctor began to place the parts back into their proper orientation. Tediously stitching away at the torn and cut parts of the canine's body, and piecing Ares back together like a puzzle. Little did the doctor know what was happening as the pieces were put back together, the gooey substance keeping Ares' cells alive partially seeping into the canine's body and altering his genetics slightly. Now done, Ares was almost brand new, minus being literally on the verge of death. In almost a Frankenstein's Monster way, the doctor greedily rubbed his hands together before pulling on a lever. A surge of electricity began coursing around the room as the canine's eyes closed, everything fading, he thought it was his time. Wires connected to the vat began surging with power as the electricity began to flow into the vat, Ares shaking violently as his eyes widened full of life once more. Popping out from the vat and sitting up he grabbed at the edges, hands slipping off the metal. Eyes darting everywhere trying to see where he was but he couldn't make any sense of it. Fear, panic, adrenaline, these were all things coursing throughout him, and in that moment everything just came to a stop.
This was the moment everything changed for Ares, he was no longer who he was before. After finally coming to, he woke up on the floor of a dark room only with a few lights flickering around him. Trying to gather himself and figure out how he got to this place as well as what had happened. Not even noticing his hand barely hanging by the threads of his stitches, meanwhile his own limb was slowly pulling back and connecting to the remainder of his body. Wobbling, slowly getting himself to standing, reaching around grabbing onto the vat he was reborn in and slowly pulling himself up. Now standing he looked around once more, only this times his eyes widened in fear, he saw the doctor who laid their completely torn to pieces. No amount of science could bring that doctor back from the damage he had received. Trying to figure out and remember what happened he placed his hands on his face, yet they felt cold, damp and heavy in the scent of iron. Pulling his hands away from his face, leaving his face wet and goopy from the liquid on his hands, he realized what had happened in that instance. Blood, this is what was seen by the canine while he shuddered, in his whole life, he managed to get away from the life he lived in one, and only one way. Never had he killed a person before, until this moment, and causing him to fall to his knees, hands pressed against his face trembling from the realization he killed the doctor.
He had to leave, scrambling about the room, he grabbed at any wall until he manged to make to an opening in the wall. This led to the stairs out, and into an alley which was behind a restaurant that had been closed down. Recognizing the surrounding area he shook his head, still trying to grasp at the situation. Stumbling at the top of the stairs his eyes darted around until he spotted a clothing store across the street. Luckily it was night so the store was closed and it looked like a old school mom and pop shop, which meant no security. Making his way to the store he smashed his hand through a window, grabbing at the clothes on a mannequin and darting off to the side of the store so he could put the clothes on him. Raising a brow he realized what he had done, but he had barely felt anything on his hand, confused as to why what he expected to hurt only felt like someone had rubbed their fingers along his hand. Bringing his gaze down, and fist up he looked at the clenched digits. Shards of glass were running throughout the entirety of his fist, but he felt no real pain, and no blood was on his hand. Then it hit him, his fur changed color, and then looked over at her other arm, seeing the stitches and his discoloration he came to one of the conclusions as to what happened. Remembering nearly everything, from being hunted down and being cut to pieces by the people he trusted, but still not remembering how he came back from that aside from waking up in that dark lit lab. All he could do was clench his fist and began walking away from the scene with only one thing on his mind, which had changed drastically from who he once was.
No longer the innocent, no longer a neutral party, he could only utter a sigh from the rage that filled him. The family he once trusted with his life and thought they did as well but now knowing they could never have been trusted. Even after growing up with most of the people he used to be surrounded by in that adopted family. His conclusion was he had to become better, and use this new life to take back what he lost, aiming higher though. Ares wanted to be on top, it's all he could think about as the anger festered and built up within him. This leads us to the present, learning more and more about what he now was he didn't question it anymore, and accepted it. Genes warped the canine could now assume a feral version, the gel in the vat altering his DNA in a way that made him able to switch between the two forms. Not only that, he found more and more out, like the fact he could detach his limbs where they were stitched, and those detached parts could move like the muscles were still connected to his nerves. The torn body parts normally coming back after short periods of time. Using this he had made his own household, which was now a widely know family even though he bared no children and took no bride. This household was called Curet Domum, translated would be Feral House. Now the boss of his own syndicate, his goals were becoming a reality. . . .Not Hiding, Running, Or Anything!

This account was not created based off of drama or anything, just so you all are aware.
The only reason for this account was because I lost connection with my prior Fursona who is now retired.
I am glad to introduce Ares, the Franken Doggo Dad.
I hope you all enjoy the journey and stories I decide to tell through this character, and thank you all for your love and support through this transition.
