Posted 16 years agoMy counter is at 976 so I'm very excited
Anyway, there is a very slim chance that I might just get to go to Morphicon this year! If I can get the money, and if Mom lets me go, so if anyone else is there you can look for me :-]

I almost died today...
Posted 16 years ago...My school lets us out at 3:20 and the bus used to come at 3:29, but now it comes at 3:17 and then at 3:55, so you can ether get a pass and leave at 3:15 and run across the football field in two minutes of wait for a half hour in the negative degree weather. Today the principal decided that the kids were making noise in the hall and told us we couldn't leave early anymore. So my friend Sam and I ran across the football field, the snow was up to our waists, so we had to run along the railroad tracks to make it in time. I fell over twice and almost threw up. All the while we had to look out for trains. Everyone at the bus stop looked tired, Sam and Andria collapsed into the snow. Now I'm at home and I feel sick and can't stop coughing. If my teacher asks me why I don't have my homework tomorrow I'm going to be very pissed.
I think the least the school could do is let us wait inside until the weather gets warmer. Andria, who's only in middle school, started crying while we were on the bus because she says she doesn't think she can keep doing this every day. I get up at 5:30 every morning, stand out in the cold, carry a heavy back pack around all day. My back hurts and my head hurts. Honestly, I think I'm going to die if I keep having to go though this all the time

COLD!
Posted 16 years agoToday it was 3 degrees with a wind chill of -11, It's very cold, but back in 2007 I remember it got to -10 with a chill of -21. I broke off a 2 foot long icicle from the side of my house and hit it against a tree like a club :-]
Semester exams came back and I got a B- in biochemistry on the test and I got an A- in mixed media classes, we're working on some textural still life thingy, but I still would rather sit around drawing furry art.
Anyways, I was thinking about doing one of those Journal memes, what do you guys think?

Furry reference in the Venture Brothers?
Posted 16 years agoI saw the Christmas special of the Venture Brothers today and Brock catches Hank looking for his Gifts in the closet. Hank claims he's just looking for some Christmas tapes and pulls out a bunch of Christmas themed porn. One of the tapes is called Rudolph the Red-knobbed Reindeer and under that was a sticker that said "100% not yif" XD
So if you see it this year look for it :-]

The Jumble of bells
Posted 17 years agoToday I saw a video of big ben on youtube and it reminded me of when I was little and I lived in a house with four clocks around it. There was one at the church behind my house, one down the street at Trinity church, one five blocks away, and another one three blocks away. Ad so, every half hour, my house was bombarded by the sound of bell songs all jumbled together into an inaudible noise
The house itself was a bunch of crap too. From what I can remember it was pink and narrow and the houses on the street were so close together that you had to walk between them sideways :-] whats more, our dinning room window faced directly into our neighbor's bathroom window, but we were good friends, so she boarded it up for us.
Our neighbor's house wasn't much better. She had a chimney that didn't go anywhere, not a fireplace, but an actual chimney that started on the roof, went down through the house, and ended into nothing on the first floor XD
The oldest house on the street was built in 1832 and was very tiny. As you walked down the street the houses grew newer and larger including Gene's house (1860) my house (1882) and Dianne's house (1900) all in that order
Infact, most of the houses were very small in the black and larger in the front. This was because when poor people came to America they would build small shacks and over time as people gained more money they would add on larger parts of the house. This was most viable in Dianne's house, which had a small back room, an even smaller middle room, and a large front room.
The houses were horribly put together. People in the past who had tried to install electricity saved space by running wires through old gas lines. After a hundred years or so, the wires would rot away, sometimes causing minor explosions :-\ Other than that we had two windows in our house that didn't go anywhere and my friend's basement was only accessible by trapdoor XD And Kathy had a back porch with no door leading to it, just a window.
Well, that's about it for now I'll try to think up some more later

Gone.
Posted 17 years agoOkay, so my family has been hooked up to the free wireless internet provided by the town we live in, but our neighbor recently got wireless also. This blocked our wireless out and because theirs needs a password we can't use it.
Totally pissed!
So anyway, until my family can get a "More reliable" connection I won't be able to post any art. This is also a problem because now my art is piling up with nowhere to go.

November 11th
Posted 17 years agoWell, today is November 11th. It was 90 years ago today that the Great War ended. We should remember the people who lost their lives in the war and also celebrate the people that are still around like Henry Allingham (Britain, 112)
Harry Patch (Britain, 110) and Frank Buckles (U.S., 107).
There were two people in my family who were in the 1914 war. My Great-Grandpa (1896-1968) who was stationed in France and got gassed in 1917 and my Great-Great-Uncle Henry (1888-1982) who was a general.
From what my Grandma told me, My Great-Grandpa was the only one in his group of soldiers who spoke French. One night they got lost and ended up on a farm. He asked the Woman of the house if they could have something to eat, to which she agreed to. There was an old man sitting in the corner. When they had finished, one of the men commented on how good it was. A few minutes later, the old man walked into the kitchen and said to the woman "Which cat did you feed them?", to which there was somewhat of an uproar from one of the men.

Am I wierd?
Posted 17 years agoI was talking to my friends on Wednesday and one of them mentioned the fact that their grandma was born in 1951, and I was like, are you serious? my grandma was born in 1928! and my friends all kind of looked at me like wtf? So...yeah...I guess my grandma is old enough to be my friends great-grandma (almost).
Also, I counted up all of the people in my family and realized that I have 84 cousins! It seems as if there is always somebody pregnant in my family. Three weeks ago One of my cousins had a son and another cousin is pregnant with twins! That with all of the other people in my family leads me to believe that by 2015 we should have enough people to start a small town!
I know we could call it Pamer-Topia or New Shefield!....................yeah.

Spirit weak.
Posted 17 years agoNext week is spirit week at my school Monday is career day, where you dress up as what you want to be when you're an adult. I can't decide if I want to dress up as an artist, so I can dress up as I normally do, or a bum, so I can also dress up as I normally do : )
goodbye Bill
Posted 17 years agoToday I went to Pa Pa Bills calling hours. Some people comment on how lifelike a body can seem; but Pa Pa Bill just looked dead. All of his hair was gone including his mustache and he was incredibly white. He sat there in his casket under a blanket with one eye slightly open for some reason. He was the first person to teach me how to ride a bike; and the first dead person I've ever seen close up. So goodbye Bill; we'll all miss you so much.

strange thing
Posted 17 years agoWhen I got back from NYSSSA I turned on my computer fot the first time in over a month. When I went to use firefox It said "restoring session" and brought up my furaffinity page. I thought "Oh sweet, FA is back!" but when I clicked on a link it took me to that FA is down page. So I went back to the other page and realized that the page had sort of frozen in time, because the page still said I had posted something one hour ago even though it had been a month. It was very stange.
I also found furaffinity circa January 2005
