Robby Bevard, a colorist who has worked on everything from Steam Wars to Iron Man, has always wanted to say
see the first 50 issues of Gold Digger in color. He's offered to do it at cut rate, but he still needs to pay the bills while he's taking a half dozen months off to do it.

I'm just going to keep things simple this time. At 8pm est on the 16th, I'll make a new Journal entry.
To reserve a place on the commission list just post in the journal.
This will be a limited commission list so I can only accept 30 commissions.

The composition will be 300 dpi 8.5x11" digital only
Content G to X rated is payable through my payment gateway at shop.fredgdart.com
Content G to PG rated can be payable through paypal to fredgdart[at]gmail.com (But you must include a +3% processing fee.****SEND AS PAYMENT FOR GOODS AND SERVICES, OR PAYPAL MIGHT SHUT OFF YOUR AND MY ACCOUNT!***

Accessories on characters:
Each character can have clothing, a weapon set and other accessories totalling up to 6 extra points of reference.
Helmets, Very elaborate tattoos, special effects like flames or electricity=1 point of reference.
Armor, full suits(feet, legs, jacket, gloves all included )=3 point of reference.
Mecha armor=4 points. (Those things are tough.)
Simple Weapon=0 point of reference for the 1st, 1 point after that... harness included with 1 point spent)
Elaborate Weapon set (2h, x2 1handed, x1 hand, shield, ranged and ammo pouch,ect... harness included)= 2 point of reference.
Any extra limb pair past 2 pairs of arms and 2 pairs of legs(8 limbs total)=1 point. (so 10 limbs, you'd need to spend an extra point.)
Any extra tails past 4 tails=1 point
Familiars, peebos, elementals, mini-versions=2 points.
Implied background=1point
Detailed background=3points
So a full sized nekked winged fairy getting teased by 3 nekked nymphette familiars that were 1/5th her size would actually count as a *one* character commission by level of difficulty. (and a fun idea)
A pic of a gundam with a complex lazer rifle and a set of fin funnels (I'd count 4 of them as 1 familiar) would be 1 character too.
A warrior with full ffxiv style armor and a weapon with a summoned familiar 3+1+2= single character commission. (Another tough one, but it's in the boundaries)
A nekked she-werewolf looking at herself in the mirror is 2 characters. (Sorry. It's 2 full sized referenced characters I have to render. This suggested rule is to give folks an idea of what I'm throwing in for a single character commission.)
Naturally I'm willing to stretch this suggestion, but this will let you know when a character commission *IS* going to stretch the boundaries.

Back From Comiconn
Posted 10 years agoI haven't had a con that relaxing and fun in years.
Thanks for hosting me as a guest for the con, Maverikat! At first I was a little unsure about attending a con in a casino, but it had more amenities than any other I've ever attended. I just had to avoid the siren song of those slot machines!
Plus the hotel was use to having tons and tons of guests so even though it was crowded with thousands, it didn't seem cramped. (Cramped is my biggest con peeve.)
Best of all I got to meet new readers. A lot of them hadn't seen GD or my art before. If I get the chance to come back I'll have more freebies and stuff for them to take home.
Five days gone, but not at all wasted. (Not in the least!)
Now, it's back to work. I've got a ton to catch up on!

Posted 11 years agoBut I seem to have a sore throat that's making it hard to concentrate on art.
Next friday I'm opening up the fall commission list at 8pm est.
The sign in stops at 8pm the next day with a maximum of 100 commissions.
I'll be working on them from dec 01st on and I plan to have them all finished by Apr.30th.
Rated g to adult content.
I'll send a link to the store where the commissions will be purchased.
I'll post a sign up image detailing the compositions I can accept on Sunday after my Sunday stream. (Hopefully I'll be well enough for that then.)
I just wanted to alert folks about the time-frame a week ahead.
(forgot the cost. 50$ character digital ink only (sorry, no color.))

Posted 11 years agoI'm just about ready to initialize the online commission site I have prepared, but I'd like to test it just once more.
Someone suggested a YCH auction instead of commissions this time so that's what I'll do.
I'll post the details tomorrow morning and start the auction at 8pm est and end it 24 hrs later on wednesday at 8pm est
And remember, the next commission list is right around the corner so if you don't feel like participating in the auction.

I'll be modding one of my generic fem models to create a re-do of Cactula to start.
From there I'll work on some others.

The subject will be a little 3d modeling.
I've been reworking my models and I want to try to make a new male base model from scratch.
Or I can make a base model for larger females like Storme.
I'll decide which by then.
Once again it will be on picardo...

They've been at it since Aug 05.
I can't even process the first 4.
I'm really not comfortable with those unprocessed orders sitting in the shopping cart so I've deleted them:unprocessed.
When I get this system up and running I'll start again. (And maybe those who have completed commissions might be able to send me the payment when that happens?)
--In other news, I'm still streaming my tactics elemental content creation this weekend. From 4pm est to questionmarks, Sat and Sunday, Aug 16th and 17th

Next week I'll be streaming again as I work on some of the graphic elements for my Adult Game.
I'm working on one of the late game interludes between Nyeh and Kapak. (Nyeh likes to climb into her date's pants and squirrel around in them...)
By wednesday, Aug 13, I'll have a better idea of what my schedule is so I can announce another commission test run then.
If I'm good to go, I'll ask for 4 more volunteers at 4pm est Wed, Aug 13 on this journal.
Selected first will be commissions who have their ideas all ready to go. (just like the last one.)

So heres what I'll do. I'll take orders for 4 digital commissions at $100 for up to 2 characters...
Then I'll do them on Saturday and Sunday (Aug 09 4pm:EST and Aug 10 4pm:EST) while streaming on

For September I'm trying to catch up with Gold Digger, Get Steamwars3 started and handle the Level UP Kickstarter.
