So I've continued to learn mapping things in Doom, and i fairly recently released my first full map! It's the second thing ive made and im pretty damn happy with it. I don't really know how best to talk about mapping stuff on FA, though im working on concept art things for some custom assets that I guess i could post bits of when theyre done!

A question that, admittedly, probably no one is asking, is why I've not seemingly been doing any art lately. Well, I've continued to be busy on two projects. One is the continuation of CDDA spriting. I feel like im getting honestly quite good at pixel art, especially when it comes to rendering tiny 32x32 px buildings. Secondly (and arguably *much* more excitingly), I've been learning Ultimate Doom Builder, playing around with it and learning how to make stuff in doom! In the course of a week earlier this month, I made and finished a simple little 10 minute map made for an annual mapping project called RAMP, and if I get time, I'm planning to make a second one. Playing with UDB has made me greatly appreciate Doom as a vessel for creation, which is arguably not what a game about shooting demons was intended for, but UDB, with all the advancements it's seen over the decades thanks to things like GZDoom, is actually really quite nice for just making things.

I may post a couple UDB projects in the future, art and scenes made as well as links to actual playable things. We shall see.

Question, do you want me to post photos of the miniatures i paint? Not sure if this is really the site for it, but at the same time, miniatures of large, large burly rat men might belong idk.

It has been an ungodsly long time, but hi, hello again, im back. Ive been updating this gallery with a bunch of my work from the last few years and hopefully I'll keep up with it this time. Life had been extremely rough and turbulent for a while but i think its now calming down. I am not going to go into it.

Hopefully, art will continue too, im getting back into it slowly, making more over time.

Used to go by the name of TatterTail, but being unable to change account names has pushed me to make a new account altogether. I dont mine though, because its been a year and a bit since I last did proper painting.

It'll take a little while to get this page up to speed with new, decent arts, but hopefully things will keep going in a promising forwards direction.
