Don't be alarmed though, it's just because I'm opening them as I go along with my refunds that way no one's note gets left behind or forgotten about. The huge yellow "unread" keeps me in the know of who I need to contact next.
If this is a problem, that is understandable as for a while you've not known what was going on. I hope this journal helps alleviate some of your tension. I am slowly but very surely getting around to taking care of everyone whom I owe a commission to.
If you have commissioned me but did not receive your product, please feel free to note me if you have not already with proof of the original transaction and your Paypal email address. It will be taken care of accordingly.

Posted 8 years agoI feel like part of the reason I haven't been drawing so much recently is because I'm ready to move on and improve but I don't have any concrete starting place / know where I should begin fixing the flaws of my current work.
If you had to critique some of my recent pieces or notice trends with my recent work that can be improved I encourage you to let me know
criticism seems to be widely rejected in a lot of art communities these days but I want it to be known I thrive upon constructive crits, so don't hesitate to leave them!!

Question for artists of any kind
Posted 8 years agoDo you get annoyed when you spend a lot of time on a piece you're proud of, but when you post it you don't get any comments?
This seems to be happening to people I know a lot more frequently nowadays and I always found it very discouraging. One of the best parts about doing art is getting feedback on it so you can grow and improve, and it just doesn't seem like a lot of social art networks have that kind of environment anymore. I don't know.

Posted 9 years agoJust a reminder that if you are interested in a refund for a commission you are waiting on, I encourage you to email me at my business email ( Frindlesart[at]gmail.com ) with the subject line as the username you commissioned me by, and a screenshot of our transaction on Paypal!
If you have a pending commission (OR TRADE), are not interested in a refund, and do not see yourself listed anywhere on my trello or queue, it would be a good idea to email me about that too.
if you have an unread note to me and have not yet received a response, it is because FA's note system is very cluttered and hard to keep track of. Again, I implore you to email me with any and all concerns about your art as email is much easier to manage and I am making an active effort to get in touch with everyone!!HERE'S AN AMAZING ARTIST GO WATCH HIM

I have been very stressed and it's catching up to me to the point where I barely feel like working on any art at all, especially since I'm balancing an actual job now with my commission work.
I intend to finish what commissions I can, but it's looking more and more likely that I will have to begin sending out refunds soon. I am perfectly fine with that.
If you want to discuss the potential of a refund please email me at Frindlesart[at]gmail.com with the subject as your Furaffinity username, or whichever username you commissioned me under. I will need a screenshot of the original transaction and an email to send the money to once I have it.
If you are fine with waiting on your commission to be finished, that is also fine with me and I appreciate everyone's patience.

Posted 9 years agoI hadn't posted anything to my FA yet and wasn't sure if I wanted to do so but I feel ultimately I should.
A few days ago on October 1st, a very close mutual friend of mine and thatweirdo committed suicide and we have been absolutely devastated by the news.
It was only a few months ago that we went out to stay with him for a week at Anthrocon, and fuck, even less than a week ago that we were talking to him like nothing was wrong. It came as a huge shock to us and we're really struggling to pull through now but... we know we can make it. it's just really, really hard to say goodbye to someone so amazing that you've known for years so soon.
Rest in peace, 0ddball. We're really going to miss you.

Posted 9 years agoI've been very stressed out by several mounting pressures in my life & recently kicking a difficult drug addiction- I'm working to get better every day and have been making progress. I felt it fair to make a public announcement of my reasons instead of staying in silence (which I'm very sorry if I have done.)

clarification on my journal from yesterday
Posted 9 years agoI had decided I wasn't going to write an explanation for deleting the journal yesterday, but I have had more than one person contact me believing that the journal was specifically targeting them. If you did not see the journal I wrote, it was a very short journal that said something along the lines of suggesting in a joking way that others use separate porn accounts. It was vaguely worded and that was my fault.
I just want to let it be known that journal was NOT specifically targeting anyone in any capacity. To single out every person on my watch list that draws intermittent porn would be nearly impossible. It was a generalized statement and I meant no ill will to anyone who may have read it and felt attacked. I am sorry if I made any of you feel that way, and that is why I decided to delete the journal- I hope you all understand. It was my mistake.
