SO I been debating on making a Ko-fi tip jar for my stories and possibility colorings. Here is the big issue from doing that is related to my colorings, namely how others will react. See most of my colorings are either done as commissions or freebies. What I worry about is getting attacked or sued by artists who feel I'm dipping at their art. Right now I'm just on the fence about it and how I would implement it. Any feedback or ideas would be nice.

I got boned by my college. I'll survive, but my belt will be tight as I push through my internship. If anyone wants something colored let me know! Prices are still pwyw.

I live a rather strange symbiotic life with artists. While they have art they make for their commissioners who come to me to have it colored. Or if it's a friend of mine I care for and want to show them thanks and color a artwork they got. I ways try my best to give back to the artist in one form or another. Best example is I try to buy Sal's art packs as a token of thanks for him being ok with me coloring some of his arts. I never want to feel like I'm taking advantage of a artist, but I understand their fear of me taking bread away from them. I just hope to have a mutual respect for all artists I work with.

I am going to reopen my coloring jobs here on FA. That said, however, I will be having longer turn over times by at least a factor of x3 or so. I will continue the PWYW deal because of this massively increased wait time, but I am working full time internship with no pay for 8 hours a day 5 days a week. Please bear with me during this time. I hope you all have a great day.

I would like to have some sort of tipping jar or something where I can put it out to fund some of my coloring jobs. Since I have a habit of coloring random things for free. But I worry that someone will get pissed that I'm making money off their art and will sue me. Which really sucks. I just feel even a little bit will help with maintenance costs I have to deal with. Ah well. Back to more coloring jobs

Yeah. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day, but it will be somber. Those who dont know, my mother passed away back in 2011. Holidays are rough for me. Mother's day double so. Those who still have mothers, give them a call and wish them a happy mother's day.

Noodle will be hard to reach for a while. I'm getting ready to move back to my home from campus. I have a 3 hour drive ahead of me and I'm not looking forward to it.

Hard to believe I'm going to be older tomorrow. I think I might go out and get my favorite food and a movie to watch tonight to celebrate my 24th run around the sun.

I will be opening my coloring jobs starting sometime this afternoon. I already have had a lot of interest and I thank you. I will have some special rules when I come open so be aware of them once I open. Some of it you may like and some you may not. But I made a fair trade off this year. So I look forward to seeing what jobs you guys will have me do.

So I'm going to change from a fix price to pay what you want model when doing coloring. But the catch is, I won't take payment until the end and I will go at my own clip. So I won't be doing rushed coloring or anything that has due date. I want to enjoy myself color and not feel I owe someone something. That's what's been burning my coloring commissions out.

This year for my coloring jobs. I'm going to only take one commission at a time. I find that I get burnt out too quickly and shut down after keeping people waiting for too long. I will however keep my 'freebie' suggestion open. I will also take tips or do that coffee thing for anyone who wants to support me though would not be required. You are going to see a lot more of me coloring pieces that I like or gift this year for sure. Once I get finish my backlog I will submit my new price guide for coloring as well to represent I am open for business.

So I been mauling this in my head in a while before I realized there is far greater implications to people on this platform that people gloss over in this war of religion and gay rights. Namely the right of artistic expression and right to deny a person a commission in the USA. Depending on the supreme court take a hatchet or scalpel to this can affect many artists here in the long term. While most people wouldn't go to court over it, there area select few who might invoke this ruling to smite artists who have their preferences on what to draw. And forcing people to do this might have a knock on effect of killing some artists off as they fear being called a bigot or other unsavory thing because they won't draw a dick on a chick.

Know that these fears might be unfounded, but I just want people to know that is something I noticed being a underlying theme in the court case that is being used as a defense.

Starting next year I'm going to be switching up my art program. Paint tool Sai has been having more and more issues with Windows 10. I have to hit fix the pen issue every Windows 10 update which seems to be a weekly occurrence. So I'm going to try a different program. I have clip studio in the wings I'm going to try but I will still be up in the air with my coloring until I can settle down with a new program.

Starting next year in going to refund people who I have overdue commissions. I just feel extremely bad being in debt to people who are owed stuff. So I'm going to pay people back and then just start all over again with my coloring job with strict limits.

What are your guys thoughts? Interested in seeing a noodle stream coloring or nah.
