FWA Recap!
Posted 12 years agoI just got back from FWA, and it was a blast!
On Friday
and 
took the megabus from Knoxville to Atlanta, and then checked into the hotel. We then rushed to get to the con as fast as we could. During the con we explored around the dealers den and the artists gallery. I spent a ton of time taking pictures and video of all the fursuiters! We attended a bit of the 2_gryphon 's show which was funny as hell! We went to the furry dancing competition which was a blast to see all the talented break-dancing furs show off their skills and one fur even had lit-up wires inside his costume, which was amazing! All of the dancers got free passes to next years con, which was a new thing for this year! I got my fursona drawn twice, got a t-shirt, a solar-powered collar, and cute dragon emoticon. I meet some of my favorite friends in real life like the one and only wolf-cat

, and :wolfyama:. I also got to hang out with some other familiar friends. We got to go rave dancing after the fursuit dance competition. The rave party had 2 live D.J.'s , and I danced for about an hour before I was just to tired to dance but man was the furry rave party fun! There was also a video game room complete with nearly every game you could think of. The fursuit parade was awesome! Every fur got their picture taken and then proceded to walk to the parade route. I took dozens of pictures of fursuiters and will post links to all of the pictures and video I only posted my favorites directly on FA.

Posted 13 years agoI had a blast at the first ever Yama-Con in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee last weekend! I meet so many cool coseplayers, got to talk to some awesome artists, and got to meet and hug my first real life fursuiter which I got him to pose for a picture, so I thank him for that. The highlight of this con was getting to be apart of my first ever panel. along with . The panel was an introduction to the Knoxville Bronies. It went over the history of the panel and we had a cosplay contest complete with prizes. We also had a discussion and Q& A with the audience members. We finished off the panel with a viewing of the latest episode in Season 3. So in addition to being in the furry fandom, I am also in the brony fandom and the homestuck fandom thanks to 
who thinks I should be John. I also got to finally meet 
and his mate 
. This con is an experience that I will never forget and even though I was only for one of the two days, I packed in more than 2 days worth of fun into one day! I also got to meet a really cool guy Thanks to everyone who made Yama-Con so much fun! I hope to see everyone next year!

Life Update (Depression/Anxiety Issues)
Posted 13 years agoSo I went to the doctor this morning after making an appointment . I knew that I had depression and anxiety issues in the past and it was time to confront them . First I need to establish the degree of my depression. So after talking to my doctor for a bit and talking a short survey, I was diagnoised as being moderatly depressed. My depression and anxiety goes back for until at least the beginning of high school which for me is about 6 years. However when my grandmother passed away a few years back, that when I really got depressed for a while. Up to that point, and not since then have I ever been chronically depressed. That event of loosing my grandmother shook me done to my core. I was very sad and depressed for over a week after than happened. I also know that after talking with my mom, I learned that she had had the same issues with depression and anxiety at my age. So after putting this off for a while, I am finally getting some help for depression and anxiety, I have another appointment with a psychologist on Friday afternoon to see if they recommend me to see the Psychologist and then if they need to prescribe me some antidepressant medications. I hope this will help me finally get me on to the right track into getting over my depression/anxiety. My good friend 
also has this same issues with depression and anxiety too, and talking with him has helped me a lot. He wrote a journal about this same issue recently.

In the 141 years since, it has never been as hot here as it was on Saturday afternoon.
Knoxville set an all-time record high of 105 degrees.
That broke the old record of 104, originally set on July 12, 1930.
A heat advisory was issued for most of the WBIR viewing area on Saturday.
Sunday's forecast high in Knoxville of 101 would also break a daily record.
Stay updated throughout the weekend by watching 10News, checking the weather page at wbir.com, and following WBIR Weather on Facebook and Twitter.
Noteworthy numbers from Friday:
Knoxville's high was 102, which tied the all-time record high for June.
Oak Ridge's high was 104, the hottest recorded temperature ever in June.

First Gay Pride Fest
Posted 13 years agoWent to my first gay pride fest on Saturday and I had a blast! Meet up with some local furs and we watched the parade and got to get out our own pride flag and bracelet! After walking around the area for a couple of hours we headed home. I'm really glad I came! I will attach below a youtube video I took of the parade and my Facebook photo gallery that I created.

Knoxville Anime Con and Brony Meet
Posted 13 years agoI Had a fun morning at the annual Knoxville Anime Con this morning. Meet some cool people and some awesome dealers. The turn out seemed much bigger despite Tara Strong not showing up. Later on We had a Brony meet at the local Fuddruckers which is a local burger place. (They have veggie burgers don't worry). So we ate and talked a bit before we got some group shots with everyone. The meet-up had a good turnout. I would say about 30 people or so showed up at the meet! I am really looking forward to future meet-ups. I will upload some of the pictures from the Anime con and the brony meet up in the future.

Birthday Party and Frank Zappa Concert
Posted 13 years agoHad a wonderful birthday celebration with my family and friends. We had tacos and then chocolate cake, and then presents. After that we watched a 2 1/2 hour plus Frank Zappa concert called "Baby Snakes" which was from 1979. This concert featured some very trippy claymation, songs from a concert, and scenes backstage with everyone talking and such. The concert had some really great moments in it. Like when he picked audience members from the stage to sing and dance with him. Zappa has very odd ways of generating sound, including using toy police cars, and clown horns on stage, along with telling long funny stories. How he comes up with the song titles is beyond me! The best song he did was called "titties and beer". I would recommend this concert to anyone who like classic rock with weird stage performances and classic rock n roll performances.
College Graduation
Posted 13 years agoSo tonight we had my schools graduation. Which was very exciting that makes me a college graduate now! The graduation ceremony featured the most graduates that my school had ever seen! With that said I still need to Complete an summer internship and take the CBASE exam which is the exit exam for my school. Then finally I will go and get my degree in September. However I won't have to really worry about any more classes even though the internship is a required course for my degree. So with that said I am so glad to be able to graduate college! It is truly an honour to be able to go to college. Not everyone is able to go to attend college or even to complete a college education. I am glad to have been in a situation where I am able to do so! Take care everyone!
Spring Break
Posted 13 years agoSo as of today I am on spring break! I will finally have some time to myself to relax and unwind! I don't really know what I'm gonna do over my break, if anything really exciting. I guess I will be trying to catch up on the Steve Jobs biography that I have been slowly reading. So when is your guys spring break? (if you get a spring break)

Posted 14 years agoMy thanksgiving went like this. I spent most of the day with my family at my grandparents house helping prepare food and lounging around, but this years I didn't eat any of the turkey, since I became a vegetarian back in August. Additionally it wasn't at our familys cabin, because it's not big enough to fit 15 people. So I guess I will be spending the holidays at home this year for a change. Just a quick update on my life.
