I felt it was time to set up something where all froggies and toads can join together and chat, exchange ideas, characters, costumes, you name it.
It is for Froggy/Toad Furs but you do not need to be a permanent frog, as long as you draw them or have a froggy/toad form and something in common with us, you are all welcome. Only one rule, no drama!
I don't want to share the invite link publicly so we can ensure only those who want to join, can, just PM us with your Telegram user ID and I'll get you straight in.
====NOTE====
I have also created a Slug/Snail Furs group too as there is a small amount of slimy critters who also need a home too, if you want to join that one too, let me know in your PM. Same rules as above! :0)

Well what a year it has been! I hope SantaFroggy got you all what you wanted for Xmas, a bucket of flies, new socks for those giant flippers and any other cliché gifts!
Looking forward to new years eve! Shame we can't do a big froggy party but ah well... RIBBIT!

Posted 10 years agoI've personally seen tons of these critters appearing in artwork and although they have a weird tongue-thing and two webbed fingers/toes, are they really frogs? Would they be more suitable as lizards or newts/salamanders?

Frog/Toad Character Weight/Size Question!!

I've noticed over the many years of being around frog/toad characters/friends that there tends to be those characters that are thin/muscly/slender and then there are those that are overweight/rounded/tubby/bloated - & nothing really in the middle!
QUESTION: Why did you choose the body weight/size/shape for your particular character?
Feel free to be as blunt as you like...

I couldn't offer any money but if any frogs want their faces on it, I will ask that they contribute $5 & lastly you'd get all the publicity you want?

Quite a few people have sent in messages about the members list and perhaps it would be good to formalise a list of frogs/toads, those with frog/toad characters and those that draw them often for others and lastly a fan list.
So that's 4 tiers & it sounds like it would make connecting with FA frogs that little bit easier, everyone up for it?
If not, please do let me know why it would be a bad idea, i'm all ears! (even though frogs don't have ears per say!)

Do you prefer male, female or herm froggies/toads and why? If you prefer more than one gender, we'd love to hear from you!

I personally love 3 to 5 long plump toes/fingers with a nice webbing between them all, however I know a lot of you are web-less, is this to help with dexterity, etc? We'd love to know!

Secondly we've spent a lot of time going through and +faving ALL frog related pics/stories on FA since it's inception, this is a massive task but we aim to have a one stop resource for all frog/toad-related art/stories here on FA via our Favourite's Gallery, so if you want some frog/toad inspiration, please go through it and check out the members we are watching too!
