Yes I'm late, work tired me out and I had lots to do over the holiday marathon the last 3 months.

Hey everyone,

Sorry I have been quiet as of late. I have been dealing with alot of stuff in RL right now. As well been putting alot of time in improving my art skills, picking up a newer hobby and just self care.

The improving on art skills has been anatomy as well working on dynamic poses, clothing. As well dabbling in NSFW content. Nothing really too big.

The new hobby I picked up on is learning to play the Violin. I have have previous music playing experience with the trumpet, but it's due for for repairs and cleaning. I haven't been the best at motivating myself to practice. When I do though, I go for hours till I'm physically tired. I feel the passion is there. It's just lacking will you get started. XD

Self care is more of just giving myself me time. Like playing my massive back log of games and building gunpla. Hanging out with my siblings. Heck even writing this journal. I would consider self care. It gets my thoughts out to all of you.

It's been 2 years of the pandemic... How is everyone holding up?

I thought I was seriously done with this...

Okay, so lately I been having some really bad highs(Mainia) and lows(guilt and worthlessness) these last few months. Really ever since I injured my left arm back in September.

But last weekend, I never hit a low that so far down that I felt like I did two years ago where I had a five day of self isolation from everyone.

Im going to look into this as soon as I can. But I have other health concerns, that are just as important to take care of, first. So... Please just bare with me as my art takes a detour.

So I recently got my hands on an oculus quest 2. I have really enjoyed a few games and started to get comfortable with VR space. I don't suffer from motion sickness. So that is a big plus!

VRChat is hard for me to open up still. Never really was an outgoing person to begin with. But so far, I'm enjoying the world's and finding an Avatar that would fit fme for the time being.

Hey everyone!

Sorry I haven't really been too active here lately. Been kind of a roller coaster ride for me the last few months.

I will start with this though, I have officially dropped out of college. The balance of work, classes and home became too much to bare. It was so bad that I spent a solid semester absent.

Secondly, I have been drawing still. Just haven't been posting here... I'm have been on Twitter, Instagram and Artflo more as of late. So, please follow me over in those three places too.

3rd! I am making plans to open commission. Working on the last few example peaces. Then I will get things a rolling. Got KoFi up and running there, too. That will me more as a tip jar.

Hmm... Oh! Not sure if I mentioned it before, but I got a new Siberian Husky. His name is Kai and is 4 months old in a few days. And he is already up to my knees!

Anyways, anyone that still following and has been waiting for me to post more content. I thank you for being patient with me...

Figured to give an up date since a bit happen this month.

First off, been getting dental work done shortly after my birthday. It started when I busted my back molar, #31. Thought that was the only one that need help, but nope! It needed to be remove, two root canales on the one in front of it. And, the one adjacent to the the broken tooth is the other root canal.

Well, today ingot the broken tooth removed and not spending the time recouping.

Once healed. The root canals are next...

29 years now.

Can't say I'm living the dream, but I don't regret anything that made me who i am today.

As long as I'm bettering myself and able to make someone's day better. I will keep my head held high.

Just want to send an update for this month.

The year is almost done, and 2021 looks murky still. But, the we all made it thus far.

I'm wrapping up my last few weeks of college till i get a little break. I have ideas for christmas/winter drawing, but i will see if i will get to them.

I want to wish you all happy holidays, hope, comfort and joy.

Hello everyone,

How are things going out there? Hope we all had a good and safe Halloween as we could this year. 2020 is really isn't easing up on us with the lost of Sean Connery. But, We all know he lived an amazing life to the age of 90 years.

Mother nature really is beating up the U.S. With wind, fire, Ice and water, just missing earth at this point....

Other then that.... lets hope November comes and goes quickly and 2020 doesn't rest itself on all of us on New years day...

Spent most of last night harshly comparing my works and current project to a lot of artist I follow here and other forms of Social media. I know this wasn't healthy... so i came up with a solutuon...

Temporary unwatch/unfollow the artists i was unhealthily comparing myself to. Majority were Artists that did there works full time or freelanced...

I will re-watch them again once I stop beating myself up from comparing apples to oranges. I'm a hobby artist I draw when I can, and learn what I can. But that self dout likes to try discourage my growth and knows i used to want to be a professional artist years ago.

Hope everyone understands my decision to do this, and I do promise to refollow once i get that confidence back.

Being a leader in anything can be lonely place.

I think why is do to the fact you are putting 'You' out in front. Willing to bring your ideas to the table. To make those you lead improve themselves. Helping them see more can be accomplished as a team then an individual.

But the cost is, you as the leader, are in front of the group and the face. You will be the first one to be tracked down if something goes wrong. You will be yelled at, mocked and ridiculed for your poor decision from your superiors and colleagues.

You need to be the one that helps keep the moral high. In other words, keep your team on the level of what is going on, but do not bring them down. Have them know they can do better and hold them to that stander.

The amount of stress to be a good, and efficient leader is great, no matter where it sits at the totem pole or hierarchy. You will meet resistance from above, around and below you.

Lastly, being a leader isn't a glorious role. You will take the blame for your team's failures and other will be recognized for your success. The moment you think you are the, 'Hero of the story'. You already lost sight what being a leader is.

So, I just found out that Nyx is the Greek Goddess of darkness...

I thought I was being Clever and using parts of my full name pronunciation to make Nyx's name!! D:



-P.S.- My Nyx will still be Nyx... just thought it was something interesting to share.
