but i honestly didn't do much at the convention. I had food poisoning for most of it. than i didn't make it past the prelims for the dance comp, and get super depressed about that.
hopefully next year (or the year after) i'll take more pics and vids. not sure if i'll go next year. im honestly too sad to go back.

Posted 10 years agoI've been playing the hell outta BattleBlock Theater lately and had a comic idea run through my head.
There are a lot of prisoners... uh... performers in the game, which means a lot of OCs to find. But I want the OCs to find me, at Anthrocon.
This comic will be started at AC but i'll get a lot more of it done after the con, so im not hounded by stress.
The comic will work like the game. Two people per level (page) with a total of three pages at a time. all characters will show up in the opening chapter cut scenes as well as the "credits" Character can (and most likely WILL) show up more than once.
for the "level" that you show up on, you and the other person will get to come up with the story line + dialodge. (kinda like a RP type of deal)
HIDE AND SEEK IS THE GAME-
If you want to be in the comic-
Step one: Find me at Anthrocon. You have to get a picture WITH me. If you send a picture to me where im some white fuzzball in the background, imma laugh and say no. sorry...
Step two: send a ref.
Step: tell me what you'd like to have thats involved in the game. "weapon, head shape, fav color, trophy?" I'll then make a ref for what your OC will look like in the comic and send that to you. ^^
my goal is to get A LOT of prisoners... um... friends, to do this. And hopefully, in the future, i want to animate it. (or get someone else to do that)
and in the end, im a nice person. If you want to be in the comic but
A) didn't find me/get a pic with me/ or whatever
OR
B) didn't go to Anthrocon
Draw up your OC in a BattleBlock setting and send it to me. I'll add that picture to the comic at a later date.
And no, you cannot pick to be in Hatty's spot (that would be slightly boring anyway) however, if you'd like to be a kitty guard thing, just let me know (that would be in step three)

Posted 11 years agoSo i was thinking recently, about conventions and stuff. There's all these panels, but i never go to them. I'm more of a ~walk around taking as many pictures as possible~ kinda person. but that got me wondering. What am i really missing by not going to panels?
So, below, i'd like you guys to start up a comment based poll (so to speak) i wanna know what types of panels are the best and which ones i should avoid at all cost.
i've gone to conventions for YEARS now, but haven't gone to any properly put together panels.
