The Meownyrn Clan Discord server got overhauled! It is mostly for discussing the Meownynrn Cat/Catbot avatars as well as other VRChat avatars. Chester is one the 6 pre-made designs included the the Meownyrn Cat avatar base. He's a cute colorful cat with a fullbody rainbow design.

I am currently working on two avatars for VRChat: my "protocat" and "robocat." Both projects are fairly far a long, but have a bit left. My current goal is to release the robocat first on Gumroad for less than most other avatars since I am just a hobbyist (maybe $5 to $15?). The robocat will probably cost a tiny bit more for a complete version, but it has a lot of accessories... and things that some people may want *cough cough*. Overall, I like the robotcat avatar a lot more even though a little less time went into it. The unit below mine flooded tonight due to a pipe burst. I believe this is the 8th unit to be flooded in the building due to a pipe burst since I moved here two-and-a-half years ago. The building is around 18 years old and only has 30 units, so that's a pretty high rate of flooding. I hope mine doesn't flood x.x

NASA's Insight mars probe will be landing on Mars today, Monday November 26th 2018, around 3:00 pm ET (20:00 GMT, 2:00 pm CT, noon PT). Live coverage of the event starts in about 40 minutes at 2:00 pm ET. You can watch live at the YouTube link below! This probe will be looking at the subsurface of Mars, and will test the new MarcO orbital relay system. The probe is not dependent on the communication relay, but if it works then it will speed up communication with Mars. This one initial launch had two small orbital relays, and the Insight ground robotic probe.

For those who missed it, or do not have CNN cable/streaming, CNN aired a documentary on furries that showed us in a very positive light. It did not show the LGBT+ aspect of the fandom for the most part, but it did focus on how the fandom improves a lot of people's lives. The typical question "are furries all sexual deviants?" got asked three or four times, but the question was nicely answered every time with the usual response of along the lines of "they exist, but not everyone." I think the documentary is a good watch! A lot of love to all the furries involved! Meows >^.^<

Meowellos! Sorry for the long inactivity; I still exist! Summer school started back in July, so I was busy over the summer. I only took inorganic chemistry, but it was a full course over a few weeks and I made an A. I also joined a furry community in my area and made some friends too. School started up for this fall and has been going well so far. I'm taking my last engineering lab as well as a materials and math courses.

I've also been spending most of my free time with my boyfriend! ^w^ He is super floofing cute, amazing, and wonderful! I love him to pieces x3 He's such an adorable bunny too! I've made some art fur him, but not all of it I can post here ^^; He makes the kigu pajama thingy I made fur him look cute!

Overall, life has been going pretty well recently. I might post some art of my boyfriend soon, but I'll have to make sure it's okay with my bunny first <3 I hope y'all have been doing well too!

Recently, I've been debating if I should cut my hair shorter or keep letting it grow. I use to cut my hair about twice a year around summer and winter. It would get a little long, but not too much. I tend to like longer hair more, but shorter hair is far easier to maintain, especially in the summer. I've been letting my hair grow out for the last year, but a lot of people say I look better with short hair.

These journals ill probably get annoying after a while, haha. I don't mean to spam anyone!

I managed to sprain my left thumb yesterday. I went on a walk after a scheduled doctor's appointment, but I accidentally tripped while going up some steps. My thumb land against the edge of a step with most of my weight on top of it. It didn't hurt too much at first, but this morning I had shooting pains in my thumb. I went to a clinic near me, and they didn't see any x-ray signs of fracture, so it's probably just a sprain. I got a splint, but it actually makes my thumb hurt more easily. Hopefully some Advil will help reduce swelling and it'll be back to normal soon!

Luckily, I am right handed, so this shouldn't affect me too much. It makes somethings harder in the mean time, but not too bad.
