Still Alive! (Lack of Uploads Update)
Posted 2 months agoNobody panic! I know I haven't been uploading as much as of late due to commissions and writing my first book. The Adventures of Otto is still in active development. But it had to be delayed due to the number of illustrations I'm working on, plus my job. I originally planned on a July/August release. But to make sure all the art comes out well and good and that there's no problems with the text, I'm pushing it back a bit longer.
In the meantime, there's gonna be a new crossover AU coming soon so folks have something interesting to check out while the wait on my book. :) And let's just say it's gonna be extra creative with the material. You can find out more details in this journal: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/11149369/
Stay tuned everyone! ^^

Otto Illustrations and New AU
Posted 3 months agoHappy Pride Month, everyone! ^^ And welcome back! Today, I'm happy to announce two projects I'm working on this month: The rest of the illustrations for The Adventures of Otto, and a new Nicktoons fan project!
First off, I feel like my book's been taking a while to make cause I wasn't satisfied with the dialogue. However, after several months of trial and error, and correcting so many grammatical errors, I've decided to settle on the current version of the story and focus on the art. Some of it was posted recently on my Bluesky and Deviantart page to get an early look. But there's a lot of others I have that's a work in progress that haven't been shown off anywhere. That'll be my goal for now, to get 'em all finished.
I know it's a book of course, but I'd like to flex my art whenever possible. Give readers something interesting to look at while they check out the story.
Second, the new fanfiction, Nicktoons The Dark Ages, is actually in the works! ^^ After posting two things on Bluesky and Deviantart that blew up, I'm in the process of getting chapter 1 finished as a sort of pilot episode and completing the rest of the lore, with a background and extra lore ready to go ^^ As you could tell by the art of Jenny, Danny, Spongebob, and Vexus' designs combining styles from Mega Man Zero and Doom, I'm going for a mishmash of things, blending concepts from all kinds of fictional depictions of the story I wanna tell. Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are two of 'em. But for all these, like I did with the Magiswords Trilogy years ago, I'm gonna try and be somewhat accurate while changing up quite a lot to fit in with the AU. So we might end up seeing more of a biblically accurate or more Doom-appropriate version of this universe. A city of Urdak, for instance. I'm totally prepared to get flamed, but yeah. That's the vibe I'm going for. Something metal even if it doesn't make sense. Have Spongebob wielding a crucible spatula. Watch Timmy Turner ride a giant feral Loona into battle with a lethal wand in his hand. I know it doesn't sound logical. But it's COOL.
And I think that's about it. It's a short update but it's to the point and I wanted to keep people informed of my plans, even if it's not much. I hope you all stay tuned for more, and I'll see you all soon! ^^

Frozarcold Deviantart is Closed For Now (Not Frozarburst)
Posted 3 months agoHey everyone! This is a weird sorta journal update because normally I like to mention sites I'm going to or have been on if there's a major change. But this time, I'm mentioning a platform I'm off...for now. Long story short, and I'm not ashamed to admit, I was having it rough on the Deviantart side of things, what with comms not going anywhere except for the most random times, stupidity like people failing to read the comm sheet, trades taking forever to do or just never coming out, active trolling, constant spams in the broken DA Chat, and even a HUGE technical hiccup where if you posted any literature in the past with Stash Writer or pre-formatted, it's now a white overlay with light text unless you change the theme of the site itself. Couple that with my finances not being in the best shape right now, and you've got a recipe for disaster!
So, I've decided it's best to leave the platform as Frozarcold. Frozarburst, my main gallery on Deviantart, has surprisingly been just fine, not having to deal with the same issues as the fetishy side of things. The literature for stuff made before last year is still a mess, but that's fixed quickly with the theme change. The last time I worked on this gallery, I started posting more updates to my first book and even posted a bit of fan art that a LOT of people loved. ^^ And it's got me considering making a new fanfic based on it while we wait on the release of The Adventures of Otto over on itchio. :) It's been a blast! And I can say the same on Bluesky too. Sure, political spamming was an issue as well. But once I found the accounts and tags responsible for it, I managed to gut it from my feed. ^^ Itchio, of course, is starting off very small. But it's my first time using the platform as a creator, and the book isn't out yet. So I wasn't expecting much. Still, I'm gonna be posting updates as needed there too and making sure to have the site linked to in future posts on other platforms. ;)
As for my financial situation, my job has been treating me much better than last year. I think I've mentioned it already in a previous update, but despite the shit I've gone through, I'm still living in the same place and all. Just need the extra money for savings and such. Because outside of rent, I have almost nothing. Any comms from 15, 20 bucks or higher come a long way, so don't be discouraged about asking. ;) I forgot to post exactly what was going on in a journal here, but from my main gallery, I said a majority had to do with terrible management and a poor schedule. They've since been dealt with.
All that's to say, Deviantart's been toxic to me on the fetish end of things, and I didn't wanna put up with it anymore. That's why I decided to leave with this announcement --> https://www.deviantart.com/frozarco.....now-1198780996
Not really a breakdown, but it's a far cry from how I try to stay composed, and I apologize. There's just been a lot on my mind and it took the cake and I snapped. That pretty much told me I shouldn't be there for a bit, so I left the message saying I'd be gone for now. I don't know when I'll be back on Frozarcold DA, but definitely not lately, that's for sure. I'm not even logged in. But you can still see what you'd normally get up there up here and on Bluesky now ^^
Aaaand I think that's about it ^^ Again, I'm still active on Frozarburst and all my other sites, just not the Frozarcold side of Deviantart. So if you wanna follow me on anything else, just check the links below ^^ And be sure to check out my itchio page where I'll post more in-depth updates to The Adventures of Otto ^^
Catch ya later! ;)

April Update (Toon Wars and More)
Posted 5 months agoLet's get the important stuff out the way: Toon Wars Legacy is finally done! Long story short, I dropped the last story of the series last night. It's a one shot that ends on a wholesome note, letting us see Kitra reminisc on her adventures before entering a new one with her new family. It's not perfect, but it doesn't need to be. This story has been a long time coming, taking over a year to develop, with multiple versions that told the same story in different ways till I settled on this one. Truth is, I didn't like how I wrote Heroes of Power. It was very disjointed, jumping from one perspective to the next almost every chapter till I lost track of who was doing what. And something was off with the pacing. Eventually, my writing started to slump with the last chapter I put out, which didn't help that I was going through it during that time. Life wasn't going well, what with my job becoming more hellish, losing money, family not being in the best shape, etc. There was a lot going on, and it was pretty obvious that I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do to end the fanfics I've worked on since 2017.
I had plans to make an anthology story, a narrated story, going back to Heroes of Power and continuing using either strategy, or even outright rebooting the thing. But neither combination actually sat well with me until this year. Once my job and my family got themselves together, and my mental state improved, that's when I started to come up with a new approach that just came about one night at random: A final one-shot detailing what went down in Kitra's last grand adventure. And that's what I ran with ^^
With Toon Wars Legacy and it's expansions fully completed, I can officially say that Toon Wars itself is now over ^^ This fan series started out in 2017 as more of a concept that developed into a full story, with four arcs and an entire side trilogy made in 2018 alone. Then it got a sequel that turned into a series in 2020, with an even bigger expansion in 2022. And now we're here, finally seeing the end of it. Just like that.
I can't stress it enough from past updates that I'm truly grateful for all that I've learned from working on all this. I've met a ton of great people, made new friends, learned things about cartoons, games, and all kinds of things from the stuff that crossed over in these stories. And now I'm taking what I've learned to develop and publish my own projects, starting with The Adventures of Otto. ^^ It's been a thrilling journey full of highs and lows. And without it, I wouldn't be where I am now. I was graduating high school when I started working on this thing, and today, I'm a homeowner with a steady job, two degrees, and a growing fan base. I've got much to do to make my books a reality. But like Toon Wars, it's something worth experiencing.
And to everyone who's stuck with me through all these years, seeing my art and scripts improve and bringing back all sorts of beloved things, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart ^^ It means the world to me!
With that said, it's no exaggeration that I've been awfully quiet about updates and whatnot. Life got in the way. So I'd like to remedy this by posting more frequently on my main gallery, as well as providing development notes here and there. Same goes for fanfics, which I still have in the works. Toon Wars Legacy, and other Toon Wars adjacent projects have been completed. But there's still goofs and other side projects I have in mind, such as Samurai Hali, Disposable Ops, and What-If tales. The next chapter of SH is actually finished as of me writing this. So you can expect to see that globally soon too. ^^
As for Anthroshock and Star Heart, the scripts for Otto have been fully completed and revised to the best of my ability. There's still a window for further updates with it if I or a beta reader notice something. But the actual story is done. All that's left to do now is illustrate whatever scenes I can This way it's not just walls of text. As for where I'm planning to publish, right now, my mind is set on Itch.io, which actually does publish stuff other than games. Part of me considered publishing on Amazon. But there's a feeling in my gut that tells me I shouldn't. At least not on my first go. Another author I'm friends with is also avoiding it like the plague. So I'm gonna be testing waters with Itch for now. From my understanding, the site is a bit easier to use for publishers. It does allow you to publish books and all. I just don't know the format right now, nor how to really advertise what it is I'm gonna publish soon. But when I do, there's a few things I'd like to do upon release:
1. Making sure that the story continues to get marketing any way I can (I.e. Word of mouth, teasers in my galleries, journals, etc)
2. Making sure to provide updates as well as the means to get feedback
3. Looking into other publishers as an alternative
4. Possible expansions to Otto. ^^
Otto is not a game, but I'd like to provide content updates as needed post-launch. That's not to say content is missing because of updates. It just means if there's anything I need to fix from feedback, or maybe a bonus to the story that I'd like to do, there'll be a chance to make it happen. For now though, you can expect the book to have about 6 chapters, plenty of art, and plenty of laughs! ^^
Star Heart is much longer than Otto, with a 6-part origin arc and 6 more chapters after the fact. But I'm still not quite done with either of them. So, while Otto is being prepped for release, I'm thinking of splitting Star Heart into volumes to make development easier, as well as the chance to get the book out there while finishing the other chapters. Star Heart is much more action-heavy than Otto is, so it takes a while to script. But it's doable. And like the other book, it's gonna have illustrations as well. Maybe not too many, but still having plenty to look at for every chapter.
For release, I'm aiming for Otto to be published in the Summer. Somewhere around July or August. And the closer I get to that date, the more I'll promote the story. We're already pushing towards May, and it won't be long before June comes along after that. So I hope I can hit that goal.
As for Frozarcold, there isn't much to be said about these secondary galleries. Just that I'm still taking commissions, and absolutely NO TRADES NOR REQUESTS. I've been approached for them multiple times, and the answer is no. Comms only. And I'm not accepting points, fragments, or whatever weird currency system deviantart is using. Just straight cash money. If you have something in mind, hit me up through notes or comments in a ych, and I'll provide details for pricing, payment, and other things.
One last thing I haven't talked about, for those keeping up with lore about my characters with Anthroshock and Star Heart in the works, is if any of my art is Canon. To keep it real, unless it's explicitly a development piece or something I outright say is Canon, it's not Canon. So no: Lucy totally didn't simp for Catherine's toes. That's ridiculous. But I'll tell ya right now, Faith does indeed exist in these books. She's not a main character, but she does exist, and so do the people she knows. There are updates to her and folks closely affiliated with her. But that's something I'll save for it's own post.
And I think that's it ^^ Again, I can't stress enough how grateful I am to have done all this, from finishing my long-running fan series, to getting my foot off the ground with upcoming titles you're gonna love! Stay tuned for more uploads, and I'll see you all next time! ^^

The Candid 2025 Update
Posted 8 months ago[This update's a lot more candid than normal, so here we go]
First off, Happy New Year! ^^ Let's get that out the way. It's 2025 and there's a lot I have planned this year. And second, a lot happened in the last half of 2024, and I feel like I haven't been transparent enough when it comes to updates and whatnot. Especially when it comes to my well-being.
So to start with the elephant in the room…
What's happening with Toon Wars?
Basically, around the time of me writing Heroes of Power, I got drained. I had completely lost the energy to keep working on it. I was able to complete Dust and the Sweeper and give it a pretty satisfying conclusion with a hint that Heroes of Power ends with Max succeeding and Black Hat's ultimate defeat. But nothing was written beyond Part 5 or 6 of the actual story. I tried going back to it on some occasions, tried a narration-style approach with the paragraphs, and I even got input on some scenes through Grammarly and friends in the know. But my heart just wasn't in it anymore. There was an attempt to try and return to the story by merging it with an anthology series I had in mind that I wanted to release this New Year. But again, I didn't have the stamina like I used to. And it was pretty clear that what I was uploading wasn't nearly as sharp as how it started.
At first, I thought it was cause of my job schedule being very inconsistent, which actually did have a pretty big effect on my mental health. Even the job hunt I've been on for something better than where I currently work hadn't gone well, though it helped me get my act together for reasons I'll explain later. But nope. Even after I got that worked out, I still had trouble coming up with the words to put down. However, what I DID do was a completely new fanfic that was disconnected from the Toon Wars, along with two more I had in mind for a while now. Crossover Fallen was a breath of fresh air for me to work on for Halloween, and Samurai Hali was pretty wholesome to write. And we're only on part 1. Now, I wanna wrap up CF and continue with Hali while working on my original projects. :) I guess in a sense, this was a sign that it wasn't me losing my creative drive but rather it was time for me to put a bow on the fan series that started it all :) That said, I have no desire to return to the Toon Wars for now. I think it's time I work on other projects, whether they're fan made or original. That's not to say I won't ever come back to it, but that I'm just giving it a rest. It earned it.
Toon Wars was the project that got me out there as a writer, helping me learn so many things that got me to where I am now. So, after 9 years of working on this fan-based crossover, I'd like to say, "Thanks for the support!" Someday I'll return to provide a proper conclusion to the story in some form or another. But for now, it's been a fun journey, and I'm happy to be working on far better things to look forward to now ^^
(P.S. For those who kept up with the lore btw, you may have noticed Dust and the Sweeper already confirmed that Max and Kitra succeed at the end of Heroes of Power. We just don't see HOW they managed to do it. Eventually I'll work on that. But in the meantime, we'll take a well-earned break).
What's Been Going on With Me?
Long story short: Retail. Inconsistent schedule, people coming and going, lacking staff, nearly abusive management, etc. The list goes on, but perhaps the worst that happened to me was when I nearly passed out on the road one night from working one too many night shifts. Which, itself, was enough of an indication for me to get my availability reworked as well as getting checked out at a doctor's office for a physical. Thankfully, there wasn't anything wrong besides my diet and my sleep cycle. But these changes to them were so very helpful that now I've got more energy to do things than I did before. Unfortunately, for the reasons I explained above, I've been applying for a multitude of new jobs left and right and got nowhere. Each one was either a scam, left a lot to be desired (like they had low pay or no benefits), or outright rejected me. This left me desperate in November, trying to find anyone who would take me in without actually thinking of WHAT I was applying for. And the thing that took the cake on that front was when a shady insurance company was about to hire me had I not read the fine print of an email for the final interview telling me to have my credit/debit card ready to purchase this that or the other. That alone was enough to snap me out of my mental funk, because I realized, I could've easily walked right into a trap out of desperation to get out of where I currently was. And I failed to appreciate the good things I have and continued to dwell on the negatives. I almost did exactly like what those who left my job ages ago had done and quit with barely any plan for the aftermath, or fallen into the hands of a job I would've hated even more. And needless to say, I had a LOT to reflect on after the fact. This is why I've been so tired or not as transparent as I am now.
I want to apologize, for one. It's subtle, but I didn't want people to hear about the negatives going on from my end. But as a consequence, I wasn't being as open and honest about anything to anyone. And second, I wanted to thank everyone for still supporting me in spite of how quiet I've been. I'm not one to post about my personal life or unpopular opinions on current happenings. But everyone's been through stuff like this before, and I wanted to express it instead of keeping it all balled up the way I've been doing. Working on Anthroshock: Otto, Star Heart, the fanfics, and just speaking to great friends I met online and in reality were what kept me going throughout all of this. So now that I've explained what's been going on with me, I'm honestly relieved. So yeah. That's where I've been as far as offline matters go.
The Adventures of Otto and Star Heart
Two things this time around: The original beta for Anthroshock has now been reworked into a sequel for The Adventures of Otto called, Anthroshock Rebellion. The name "Anthroshock" by itself is now used as the duology title ;). What was once slated to be three long volumes has been worked into 10-15 chapters for AS Rebellion, while the first story, Otto, is only 6 chapters. Which, I might add, are actually finished…mostly. See, originally, I planned on saying it was 100% revised. All the paragraphs are done. No more run-ons and stilted narration. But none of that actually accounted for DIALOGUE. And Grammarly doesn't exactly do a good job at updating that to sound natural. So while I work on the illustrations, I'm also going to re-read what I've got scripted to make sure everything checks out. Same for Star Heart. Some may say the dialogue fixes don't matter so long as the story is good. But if ya ask me, it's better I refine it to the best of my ability instead of leaving it the way it is, lest it sounds like the early George Lucas dialogue for A New Hope. If you don't know what I mean by that, there's an interview with Mark Hamill from around that time where he begged George to take out a line he didn't like. And honestly, I can't blame him ONE BIT. Imagine reading that for 6 whole chapters. DEFINITELY gonna make sure it's all tweaked before I throw out slop.
As for Star Heart, and this applies to both it and Otto, the Detective Red sample was a success, and it even got much needed critique through my dms. But I almost made it sound like this was what was gonna be put out in the actual book when its finished. In short, it isn't. I still wanna look over it again before publishing ANYTHING. So when I post a sample of something, it's not to say its gonna be exactly like this in the final version. This is just a public beta of what's to come. If there's ever any issues like a grammar error, dialogue that feels clunky (which there was, but that was patched quickly), or a paragraph not flowing well, go ahead and contact me. You can either use dms if you know me, Deviantart/Furaffinity Notes, Archive of Our Own comments, or Deviantart comments. Whichever you prefer. ;)
I estimate that The Adventures of Otto will be published around Spring time or early Summer if outside factors slow me down. Following that, the rest of Star Heart Book 1 will be finished and ready to revise. I'm still trying to work out whether or not I wanna post on itch.io, gumroad, Google Play Books, or Amazon. So if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to let me know.
Closing Thoughts on the New Years
I think this pretty much sums up everything for me. It hasn't been easy, but against all odds, I managed to get this far and I don't plan on stopping. ^^ I know this update was far more candid than I usually write. But I wanted to be as open and honest as possible, especially when starting the new year. I've been drained, frustrated, and even depressed these past months. But with all the encouragement I've been getting from friends, family watchers, and visitors, I have confidence that things will get better. I just have to believe it and keep doing my best. There's a saying that God has a plan for us and things happen for a reason. Maybe the roughness of 2024 was a wakeup call for me to get out of my comfort zone. So instead of sulking or dwelling on the negatives, embrace the positives that got you this far and continue moving forward to something better. ;)
See you around!
Comic Compression Error
Posted 10 months agoHey everyone! You may have noticed that my latest upload https://www.furaffinity.net/view/58688402/ was deleted and re-uploaded. That's cause it was too big for Furaffinity to submit as a proper gif (not big with megabytes but big as in resolution). The first time I tried, it was posted as a slightly compressed still image. I've lowered the resolution to fix the bug, but you can still see the uncompressed version of it on my deviantart page: https://www.deviantart.com/frozarco.....mic-1117038504 ^^
More info about how I managed to animate this and the trouble I had saving the format are in the description ^^ Hope you enjoy!

End of Month Update (With Future Plans)
Posted a year agoHowdy everyone! It's the end of July and my brief hiatus from writing anything. And I think it's fair to say I kinda needed it ^^; Even though the last update was about my return from vacation, a lot happened after the fact that had me step away from social media for a long while. Not only did I have sleeping problems which kept me from really concentrating as well as I wanted at work or at home, but there was drama in the family, drama online, political drama, work schedule drama, just a lotta drama I was caught in the middle of that I desperately needed to get away from. The scheduling issues were actually what caused the sleeping issues because I've been ending each week with night shifts back to back, only to come back home at around 10:30 or 11 every night when I should be resting. Once I heard myself stutter and fail to come up with proper sentences, I knew something was wrong. So I got a checkup and made sure to take vitamins and a new medication to help me with that. I even changed my availability at work so I can come in during the morning and get off at a decent time in the afternoon ^^ So for those in DM's who're probably wondering why I rarely talk or have time to talk, that's all it was. My job schedule was inconsistent and my sleeping was a mess. So hopefully I can get this sorted out. ;)
As for the rest of the drama, the most important one here is with Kyle Carrozza, who in retrospect, I always had a feeling wasn't the nicest guy out there and looked like what he is, but it was unexpected to hear when it happened. It took me a minute to process his arrest since a friend of mine was in contact with him, and I was worried he tried to pull some nasty stuff with her and others on Instagram. Thankfully, that didn't happen and they're ok. But it really upset me that yet another creator I knew was a fraud. Not that I'm too devastated since I always looked at Magiswords as being held together by everyone else on board the series and was only held back by poor decisions from Kyle and CN. It's just with Kyle, being the guy who started it all, you'd hope it wouldn't boil down to all this, but here we are. Of course, this by no means spells the end of Toon Wars or other fanfics I have in mind. I still wanna use characters like Bimm or Cattus sometime again, and I know a lotta folk really love it when I draw fan art for the series or include them in things outside the cartoon. So don't worry. They're gonna be fine. ;) I can't say I'd use Prohyas again since he was voiced by Kyle, but eh. Never really was too big a fan of him or Vambre, to be honest. ^^;
Next, the Anthroshock Beta. I can't remember if this is my first time mentioning it, but I actually hosted the Beta Read of Anthroshock's first volume in private for the past two months, hence the silence. Many volunteers came and went due to life happening, of course. But those who either finished the whole thing in one read or those who read through the first few chapters and provided the most feedback all came to a consensus: The story and characters are great, but the grammar needs to be fixed. Obviously, I'm gonna use Grammarly to help me out, but not without having folk look at the corrections either. There's also a point about the worldbuilding, which I'm actually working on. But also, one other person gave suggestions for more visually striking shots in the illustrations. The only problem that one person pointed out that maybe a bit difficult for some is the scale of Anthroshock from the beginning. But that's more of a personal opinion that, frankly, I kinda felt the same way about but did my best to work around it. Anthroshock runs kinda like Toon Wars, and Star Heart runs like a cartoon with different stories for different episodes. So while Star Heart is easier to write than Anthroshock, the latter has the most progress made because it's been split into volumes and pre-written. Overall, a pretty good turnout! :D
With the success of the Anthroshock Beta, that means I can go ahead and apply the feedback to the chapters and eventually publish it on a suitable site. ;) However, I still want to complete Heroes of Power soon, which I put on hiatus because of all the stuff going around these past few months, and my writing was dipping. I'll be honest, I didn't like working on the last two chapters of the fanfic. I wasn't sleeping right and the scenes outside of Kitra's felt rushed to me. So I went dark for a bit to get my creative flow back. I still feel I'm not entirely there yet. But that's just cause I'm focused on getting my work schedule and rest back together. Hopefully then, I can come back and finish these years of crossovers with a proper sendoff! ^^
Lastly, and this is to do with my health again, I've been trying to get a confidence boost. For years, my brain keeps reminding me of mistakes I may have made like it’s the end of the world and often can't think of the words to say. I'm actually really scared of failure or making a single mistake. And I only grew more anxious, enough that coworkers started to notice. This is, of course, a combination of sleep deprivation, lack of vitamin d and other supplements, etc. But as of late, I've been getting more confident than I have before. Little hiccups no longer feel devastating to me, and I keep thinking of the achievements I've made even if it doesn't feel like a lot. ^^ Folks are telling me to give myself more credit and even stood up for me when things didn't work. One example of something I did, of course, is the Beta Read, which people thought was good in spite of the flaws, and even getting my own living space that I can support all on my own. ^^ Or better still, focusing on my personal well-being despite management being uppity about night shifts. No means no. I'm trying to get my sleep in so I can think better. I've accomplished so many things, but my brain keeps focusing on what I haven't or what I've failed on. So, I'm gonna keep reminding myself what I can do and give myself the edge I need to let my mind know it can do this. :)
So, yeah. All in all, these past months have been me putting my regular projects on hold because I've been trying to pull myself together. Which I can say with confidence, I am. ^^ It takes time, but it's happening. There's plenty that I've learned about myself and others I know, both good and bad. To say it's been a heavy few months would be an understatement. But now I'm back ^^
It's still going to take time writing the next half of Heroes of Power. Rest assured, I'll be getting back on it when I'm ready. ;) My books are the most important thing to me now, so you can expect more art and details on them soon. It's a joy hearing all the positive feedback and interest in the characters I've made, whether it's under Frozarburst or Frozarcold. And speaking of Frozarcold, it's been most active since a lot of its art is quicker to make, fun to make, and led to me practicing new techniques that came a long way in helping with my real projects. Several volunteers for the beta actually come from Frozarcold, which is both awesome and sort of hilarious knowing what that gallery (or rather this gallery if you're viewing this under it) is XD To those who've met me under it, thank you for your support! ^^ It's not going anywhere. Don't worry.
I guess the question now is, where do we go from here? At the time of me writing this, I'm about to go on my night shift, but the medicine I mentioned earlier has me go to sleep by 10 or 11, so I'm likely to leave early instead. Sure, it's less funds coming in for now (I'll be working as much as I should once the new schedule rolls in). But I've made it clear multiple times that I'm trying not to ruin my sleep schedule again. Especially when my diet and concentration is way off. So until then, I'll see what I can do to hang in there. ;) At the very least, I know my bosses understand what's happening and don't mind if I leave soon since there's plenty of people they have on staff compared to early June. I just gotta remember not to be anxious to speak about it.
I hope to see you all for my next upload whenever that comes out, and I hope to see you for when I post updates for my projects again! Thanks again for your continued support, and I'll catch ya later! ;)

Thanks again for your continued support, and I'll catch ya later! ;)
Kyle's Been Arrested. Now What?
Posted a year agoWell this is awkward. I know a lot of folk have seen my Magiswords fan art and no doubt heard the news of what happened as of late. Kyle, the creator of the show, was arrested for possession of CP. To have heard all the things he did in the past while I was still active with toon wars wasn't too upsetting to me since I thought something was off with him to begin with. Friends who saw him on Twitter or even got to interact with the guy said he either couldn't take critique, got into hot water with other creators, etc etc. But this was a bombshell. I cannot FATHOM how stupid this is and it's taken me all day to process it. But now I think I got a response.
Although the creator is a monster (and I certainly don't wanna see him again for that matter), and I still think his show is mid despite years of fan art telling folk otherwise, I still enjoy writing and drawing the characters. Specifically the ones I've done most often that the show otherwise shoved in favor of focusing on the main duo, who I never really cared much for compared to the creator himself. Characters like Cattus and Bimm really made an impression on all my work, yet they only show up once or twice out of 50 some episodes. And I know there were really talented people on board who tried their best to make the show work with what little creative control they had.
I can't put into more words how shocking all this is to hear. But I can't bring myself to hate the series and everyone else who worked on it or were associated with it because of the actions of one evil man. I've got no problem dropping in to write the characters into fanfics again sometime and drawing them on occasion. Though, ironically, I'm sticking with the ones that I'm almost certain Kyle has shelved rather than the two everyone now associate with him.
But hey, if it's any consolation, his series did finally blow up for a minute...for the wrong reasons XD I hope he stays away from everybody for a long time. And even if legal issues happen, I hope people continue to let him know how much of a fraud he is. But, don't point and group the rest of the development team with him. They're not the ones who possessed 600 counts worth of highly illegal material.

I'm Back! Now What?
Posted a year agoHello, and I'm sorry. You may have noticed I haven't been as active as I usually am as of late. Over the past month or so, I've been radio silent for a number of things. The first being my vacation, second being my busy work schedule, and third and most importantly, getting appointments out the way. This hasn't been an easy few weeks since my last upload, and with some drama here and there at my job and trying to come up with the words to put into my projects, it just tired me out. So I took an extended break online and posted whatever else I already had. This goes for all my galleries, not just this one I'm posting this on, plus any server I'm a part of.
I originally planned on working extensively on getting Heroes of Power completed. But midway in, I just lost the energy to keep it going. It's not canceled, but it's on a brief hiatus till I can get my stamina back. Most of my focus is on getting my books going, which I've been actively working on with volunteered help in a beta read for Anthroshock thus far. Unfortunately, complications with that had me put it on hold as well. Volunteers either got sick or had something going on during the read and couldn't continue. Fortunately, those who made it further in or read through the whole thing did leave plenty of pretty positive feedback! Of course, there's a lot of grammar notes, which is to be expected - This is the book's most basic, unaltered form. But some have given suggestions on illustrations and character moments. Overall, a pretty good turnout, but a very bumpy one as mentioned earlier.
With Anthroshock's beta on its last volunteers, I'm currently jumping back to Star Heart's development, as well as updating the series bible to make it less…bloated to say the least. This is between me and certain people. So what's there to expect in the meanwhile? Well, I'm still gonna be posting a lot of unseen concept art under my main gallery, Frozarburst, and uploading quick, 18+ art to my other galleries. Uploading won't be as frequent since I've still got visits to the doctor's office and overtime shifts to go on. But you can still expect to see some new posts in a bit. ;)
So I hope this clears up any confusion and I hope to see you all soon! ^^ Thanks for your patience!

Frozarcold Update 2024
Posted a year agoIt's been a minute since I've posted an update on this gallery and took me a while to write it since I wasn't quite in the right frame of mind when I posted the last one on my main account. ^^; I was really tired. But now, I'm in pretty good spirits to talk about what's to come for Frozarcold. And the short answer is…not much you haven't already seen.
I ended up closing my Patreon last month to make all the exclusives there public, and I've been on a huge streak using characters for my books in all this art. Odd way to self-promote, but it's a lotta fun for me to make and I like to use it as practice in a way; trying different styles and perspectives. I especially had fun drawing in a rubberhose-esque art style thanks to some advice from my man
mepwep , tried my hand at SFM again thanks to
qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcv , got paid when I needed the extra funds the most with Patreon and monthly YCH posts, and I've met a lot of cool people like
Emiridian who drew me an awesome pic of Azeria from Anthroshock ^^
It's all been fun despite the stress of December from my job and maintainence issues. And with Heroes of Power and Dust and the Sweeper getting posted on my main gallery in preparation to work full-time on my books, things are looking up ^^ So what to say about any changes to Frozarcold? Well…I can't really think of a reason to reopen Patreon as it is right now. One, I don't really have any new pieces to post there as exclusives. And its verification system is broken. I got it working, but a lot of people have complained about it locking off their account and funds if it couldn't verify your identity. I don't even wanna get over the hassle of using your camera to position yourself just right, clear as day, scan your ID, and it still says it doesn't know you.
So instead, I'm thinking of sticking with YCH posts as its much easier that way to get paid directly, its not hard to draw, and lots of people really seem to like what I offer. The only hiccup I'll admit to, and this is almost 100% fault, I posted the last YCH for the flattened compilation too early. I should've waited till after December to do it because no one, except for one guy, took the offer. To that one guy, you are a legend…but goodness. 60 bucks. As a guy who likes to spend little and save more, when I see someone do all that for me, it really boosts my spirits. So thank you anonymous. But I hope you don't live with your parents cause I'd hate to imagine what they'll say if they see what you've requested ^^;
Anyway, right now I'll be reposting the Flattened YCH for about 5 slots. Same price as before: 10 dollars and 5 dollars for additional characters. However, this time you can ask for 2 characters for those 10 bucks instead of just one. ;) You can also ask for me to draw my characters squashed ^^ I know the last guy asked to see that with Flare. And I have no problem doing it again.
As for everything else, there's still plenty of unreleased art that was Patreon only worth posting. So you can expect future uploads for that and new things. No need to worry about the train stopping since I'm back to work on my fan projects. ^^ I really like this gallery and I wouldn't have made it this far had I not drawn anything here. Not only do I find it fun when I'm bored from working so hard, but it's also improved a lot of my techniques, diversified my style, and in some cases helped me out financially even if I don't do comms frequently. So I thank each and everyone of you for the support. ^^ Especially those who've become fans of Anthroshock and Star Heart as they develop. It means a lot to me.
That's all for now. Take care and tune in for more uploads!

About Deviantart's Policy Update (Not Leaving)
Posted 2 years agoWOW it's been a loooooooooong time since I've posted a single update here, has it? Haven't really felt the need to. But basically, Deviantart recently applied an update regarding lewd content, which makes up about 60-70% of the platform by now, like with Tumblr. From what I gather, and this is all based on a vague statement from staff, anything that's nonconsensual or just outright 18+ is now banned from the site. Which I get. Though they had to release a second statement clarifying what they meant by that. So as far as I'm aware, foot fetish art is still allowed, BUT because of how general and non-specific all this is, I'm still keeping this gallery up which...I've been doing since day one. This isn't new ground for me. lol
Just felt like leaving this journal up for those wondering if that Deviant-update had anything to do with me and if i'd be abandoning the platform like several have done already. The answer is no I'm not, especially since Frozarcold ISN'T my main gallery. It's just where I post most often now releasing new pieces of concept art for my books or random shit while Frozarburst is where I post complete, more professional works. So don't worry about me being banned. ;) In case I DO get booted under Frozarcold, I'll keep posting here like always. ;)
Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more of that sweet content!

Patreon Store Announcement
Posted 3 years agoOn Deviantart, I made a poll asking if folks would be interested in a Patreon, and I'm convinced despite a majority saying they're broke, I should try and make one anyway. ^^ Let's be real though. If I said I would be taking commissions specifically under Frozarcold, a vast majority would say yes. But I think we'll hold off on that for now. Prices won't be expensive so don't worry. when I finish ironing things out. I'll be reaching out to some friends familiar with this for a second opinion and some advice on what I can do to get this going and bring in some followers :D
Again, I don't plan on making my tiers pricey. I'd love to get paid by a real-life job I can count on. Right now, what I can offer is plenty of exclusive content related to both Frozarcold and Frozarburst, from concept art, draft sketches for stuff like posters related to Faith or Mint or full-on covers for Toon Wars, early scripts, or even entire exclusive art ^^ So stay tuned for an announcement for the beta store. ;)And thank you all for the support!

Stylus Flew
Posted 3 years agoSo good news and bad news. My stylus vanished the other day and I can't find it. I checked everywhere and it's no where to be found. But I was meaning to get a backup one just in case of this very scenario, so I went ahead and bought it. No telling when it'll get here since the mailing schedule is inconsistent, but until then, there's not gonna be any new artwork yet. Thanks for listening :)
Stash Link on Tiger Lady
Posted 3 years agoI forgot to update the stash link on the tiger lady earlier, so I went ahead and fixed it: https://sta.sh/2vnqvhpdxpu
Sorry for the long delay. There you'll find alternate vectors with nail polish or sandals. Special thanks to
PrismaWielder for coming up with her name "Li Mei"

HAPPY EASTER 2022
Posted 3 years agoThere's a proper new upload coming in a bit, but in the meanwhile, Happy Easter 2022, or it's proper name, Resurrection Sunday. There's no new art that I have on me this time. So for now, I just wanna say thank you all for your patience. :)
Usually I don't say stuff like this because there's always room for improvement, but as I keep drawing new characters and adding more stuff to their world, I genuinely think we're getting closer to something I can work off of for the future in some way. I'm not just talking about characters under Frozarcold either. I've got ideas for comics or novels (though at this point I'm leaning towards novelization knowing how long it takes for me to draw a single page these days), but where to start? I don't know. Back in the day, I used to just wing it and work off whatever I made up on the fly. But with all the things I learned from making Toon Wars, it's a good thing that I've gone ahead and planned things out. Otherwise, you could end up with another How to train your Hero where Celestia was shipped with Toothless the Night Fury. XD

Uh-Oh! My PC Did an Oopsie
Posted 3 years agoYesterday I posted two WIP projects: a comic and an animation, and spent a lotta time last night working on them. But somewhere along the way, my PC mysteriously crashed! O_O Something happened to the display and it wouldn't boot up and needed to reset and some of my progress wasn't saved. So something like feathers in one of my gifs is only used once and none of the comic's current pages have color and dialogue in yet. There's even an entire page with nothing but blank frames and notes I was doing before the crash. Luckily, it's just that. Notes. And I've managed to hop back on the gif project and make newer, better ones than what I wasn't able to recover :) The thing's pretty much complete now. Except I'd have to hop on somewhere like Ezgif and put it all in order.
This is pretty much the reason why I haven't upgraded to something like Windows 11 yet knowing it JUST came out and updates tend to lead to stuff like this. But it's a lot less worrying than losing your progress. Hopefully all this will be worth the wait! ^^ Thanks for your patience!

Thieves in Time was an Odd Game
Posted 3 years agoA lotta people've been wondering since Penelope's in my fan works if I'd be changing Thieves in Time entirely, and the answer is sort of. I've already got a version of the loveable mouse who's a timelord and another one who's helping Slick out. But the real question on everyone's mind is, what did I think of the 4th game? To that I say the game was solid…in gameplay. I got myself a PS3 finally and tried playing the first level but couldn't get into it from getting motion sick from the blur effects. Though my sis wanted to play the game the most, and after she struggled with the effects, we both got used to it and completed the whole thing. We had plenty of laughs over Murray, Grizz being the blackest bear, and the Coopers you get to play as. And by the end, we were left wondering if we'll ever get a 5th game or reboot much like Ratchet and Clank. We thought gameplay was ok, but after playing a second time, we began to think more about the story. And it's a complete mixed bag.
We all know about the character assassination of Penelope by now, but what a lot of people don't talk about is the rest of the plot. Like, I feel like it just sorta comes and goes. It's essentially time traveling to past eras of Cooper's history to stop villains from taking over, but for some reason, the ramifications of them to me never felt quite as heavy as, say, Jak 2 when you jump forward into a complete hellhole. Or perhaps the huge reality bending stakes of Rift Apart. The characters to me spoke way too much (especially Tennessee who I had to mute cause he wouldn't stop talking), and some acted slightly off. Like Sly's essentially a huge dick leading to Carmelita being eternally mad at him and everyone around him for the rest of the game, even if they don't know who she is. Some of what they do like straight up trusting Demetri with the Thievous Raccoonous didn't really add up even if he's reformed (though it was hilarious). And the animated scenes are no different, cause, while they're pretty well done, felt too long and may have hurt the game's budget instead of doing what the past games did and try a comic-book style approach between episodes. Let us not forget, compared to the other games, this one is incredibly short, but it is FULL of cutscenes with tons of exposition.
Another thing I'm not sure is a nitpick or a genuine critique is something my sibling and a friend pointed out. There's no female Coopers. Though I don't think I'd wanna see any in this game considering we have fully done belly-dancing minigames where you play as Murray or Carmelita shakin' their ass like it's controlled by a vibrator. Granted, the past games had minigames where you dance or sing at least once. They were usually tense and made sense for the level they were in. This, on the other hand, happens twice and feels like it could've been traded for an in-game cutscene or a different method of distraction. If Murray's cosplaying adventure wasn't taken out (cause it was honestly pretty hilarious and unexpected), at least Carmelita's could've been out of respect. To me, this feels like whoever was making the game forgot this is Sly Cooper. Not the Jak games. But even they didn't have you play as Tess or Ashelin trying to swoon over a bunch'a dudes.
If there's one thing I can say I did like besides the gameplay itself, it's gotta be Murray and Demetri. I already mentioned them and even though I just said you could take out the minigame of Murray's cosplay, I think the idea itself is absolutely him. It's goofy as Hell. Not only that, but throughout this entire game, no matter what's going on, he seems to be the most consistent out of everyone. Everyone else, even his boy Bentley, feel like they don't wanna be there with how I described them earlier. Not Murray. He's just vibin' 24/7 and hams up every line he's given. And Demetri, even though I said probably wasn't the best choice for the role he has here, is STILL being this silly dude from the 3rd game. Granted, he doesn't have any speaking lines (I'll bet cause the game by this point couldn't afford another actor), but his expressions and interactions with the rest of the cast is perfectly in line with his character.
Now I don't wanna sound like I could do better because some people honestly like this game's writing for what it was. But for me, I think I'd make an entirely different story altogether. Kinda, sort of a reboot/sequel in the same way Doom 2016 was going off of Doom 64 instead of following Doom 3. Do I hate the game overall? No. I just think it could've been a lot better with the writing and some of the direction the developers were going for like I said with the abundance of talking and cutscenes.
Anyway, that's my mini-review of a game I played. Nuff said. Buh-bye ^^

Inkbunny Account
Posted 3 years ago6 months ago, I made an Inkbunny account but forgot it existed until now. So I'm finally posting on it ^^; Check out the first post here: https://inkbunny.net/s/2643278
I'm mostly gonna be reposting both Frozarcold and Darkburst stuff there, so don't worry about switching platforms if you're worried about exclusives.
