Buff to the Future
Posted 13 years agoSorry for the long hiatus. At last I finished translating FCLG's newest book "Buff to the Future," and it is now available for download purchase at DLsite:
The third installation of FCLG comic takes place at Fukura High School. For some reason, the relationship among the different sports teams of this school is becoming worse as time progresses, and it's up to five pairs of athletes to break the ice to stop the tragedy that is bound to take place in 2012.
Unlike "Some Like It Hot Spring," there isn't any secret organization, alien invasion, or ancient monsters, but there is plenty of high school guy-to-guy action and some romance. Whether you're interested in swimming, football, or Taekwondo, there's surely an episode in it that will tickle your fancy.
Also, in this book I'm participating not only as the translator but also as a manga artist, which makes this the first time for me to join a book made by FCLG (And it's definitely not gonna be the last!). There was certainly some difficulty in meeting the high standard that the group has set on their previous two books, but I had fun imagining what it would be like to spend my high school days in a Japanese school.
If you have comments or opinions on FCLG's books, please state them at:
1. FCLG's official FurAffinity account
fclg
2. their homepage: http://fclg.kemono.cc/
And if you have comments or opinions specifically on my comics, feel free to shoot me a private message or just shout it out! Insightful reviews and critiques are always welcome.
Alrighty then, I guess that's all I have to say for now. Have a wonderful day and enjoy the English version of the manga!

Some Like It Hot Spring
Posted 14 years agoThe translated version of FCLG's newest book "Some Like It Hot Spring" is now available for download purchase at DLsite.
http://www.dlsite.com/ecchi-eng/wor...../RE078517.html
The second installation of FCLG comic takes place at an old inn with a hot spring. There are five groups of guests arriving at this inn, and each of them has a unique identity. Whether it is a spy from a foreign country or a member from Bower Ranger squad, there will surely be an encounter that will change their lives.
Like FCLG's previous book, "Chaki Chaki Bang! Bang!!", the stories in this book are all intertwined, and it is made so that you will discover something new each time you reread the book.
It took me a while to translate this book due to the variety in the genre that it covered (espionage, science fiction, horror, action, and fantasy), but it was fun to imagine all these characters gathering in one location. And to top it off, the last page will surely surprise you just as it surprised me!

Chaki Chaki Bang! Bang!!
Posted 16 years agoThe English edition of "Chaki Chaki Bang! Bang!!" is available for purchase at DLsite.com.
"Chaki Chaki Bang! Bang!!" is the first set of comics illustrated by five Japanese artists in a group that is known as FCLG, and it became popular amongst the people in Japan's furry fandom. Now that it's translated into English, it can be enjoyed by people all over the English-speaking world. And the best thing is that it's all digital, so there is no concern about shipping and handling fees.
The story of "Chaki Chaki Bang! Bang!!" is set in a rural town in Japan during the Fukura Summer Festival, where people from all over the area gather for a night of fun, food, and festivity, as well as a firework event to illuminate the night sky.
There are five stories in the book, each told from different perspectives of people who came to the festival and encountered events that would change their lives. What will they wish upon the fireworks that fade away into the summer night air?
The comic can be purchased at FCLG's FurAffinity account

Second year
Posted 16 years agoIt's been more than a year since I last wrote a journal. Oops! >.<
Actually, I've been quite active in other locations, including a blog that I kinda stopped updating in September and an illustration community based in Japan that's pretty much similar to FurAffinity, only it's not just for the furry arts.
Anyways, I'm currently working on an English website (as announced in the latest illustration that I submitted), and I'll be posting the link soon on FurAffinity. I'm looking forward to communicating more with people all over the world, not just confined to Japan.
Also, I've joined a group of manga artists and illustrators to make a comic book with anthropomorphic animal characters. If you're interested, you can find more information in their website:
http://www.furaffinity.net/user/fclg/
Well, I guess that's all I have to say for now. Hope the next journal won't have the title "Third decade." See ya! ^_^

First day
Posted 17 years agoHello, everyone! This is Fruitz.
Well, this is it! I finally registered for FurAffinity! I've known this site only since around July, but I find it a really cool place to share my illustrations. I just began drawing andropomorphic characters in July this year, so I'm still new to this genre.
I usually hang around at Japanese bulletin boards, posting my pictures there once in a while, but I thought maybe I should try a different place for a change, so I came here.
Also, after reading all the comments, I'm really glad people like it for its "cuteness" because I'm not so good at drawing handsome characters like some artists out there at FA.
