and its yet another miserable fucking one so far...

Well, I was too ill during the weekend to crawl down some very rickety stairs to say who won my "free art... thingy!" so Ill do that now!
I decided to do two pictures: one for  emikochan with the idea of her getting some cyberware upgrades. I chose this as it sounded both fun and challenging, considering I have not tried anything like this before. and the second was to  koda-kins who suggested I draw "a poofy rainbow flamingo wearing a scarf and glasses While standing on a big rock and looking cute" that just made me giggle so I had to draw it.


... now for my stupidity. I finnished the flamingo picture and got all the linework for emikochans picture done... then realised I wont have my tablet until after xmas (the 28th, to be precise)... in hindsight, I should have uploaded the WIP and finished drawing, or at least sent them to my computer but Im a silly person, sorry guys, youll have to wait for me just a little while longer

So, still no commissions yet (yes, yes, i know i dont advertise myself, like, at all but shush you!) but i have been in a very draw-y mood recently so i have decided to gift one or two of my watchers a free piece of art... What's the catch, right? there is ALWAYS acatch... and yes, you (shush!) there is. If you want a free picture all you have to do is give me an idea of what you want, I'll pick my fave idea and draw it for you... thats it... nothing more.
Ok, i lied a little... only a couple of things. Im not comfortable drawing *ahem* x-rated pictures so they are less likely to be picked and detail is your friend... the more detail i get the better your chances may be ("draw my sona!" for example is not at all likely to get this)
ok, now that is it... i seem to be rambling on a bit now, dont i? what do you mean yes?! how very rude!
i will pick the winner this weekend and get started on monday


(oh, and being the vain fur that i am, bonus points go to if Scul is involved in your idea somehow! *insert evil laugh here*)

... i am 100% skint... turns out one of my best friends from schools funeral is next week and i cant afford the train, let alone something formal to wear, for the occasion... i hate to beg, i really do, but if anyone can commission me all the money is very welcome right now

Uur, soo... the urge to make a suit is taking over my mind again and I was wondering on the best way to go about this as I dont want to make one for myself... its gonna be a foam base which Im not too great at so I dont want to take a normal commission so do I:
A. make a generic character (normal, natural colours, etc) and stick it on an auction site,
B. go for something more creative and sell it as character and suit (again in an auction) or
C. take a commission, charge only for shipping and materials and chalk it up to practice?
I know which could potentially make the most money, but its also the most risky option... *flails* I dont know... until my mind wants to work again Ill be in Skyrim!

So, due to suggestions (from many wonderful people) on how to kill my boredom I have decided to attempt a large, multi-character halloween picture... I'm thinking everone zombified >:3
there are some people who will automatically be included (unless you dont want to, for whatever reason... but, y'know, when has anyone ever really turned down free art?) but to make sure I dont forget you, please poke me with a large sharpened object... also, ideas for your character would be fun to include... hit me with your creativity!!!

I really think it's time I start drawing seriously... I think I may do the seven day challenge I attempted (and failed) back when I first joined this site... Y'know, drawing and uploading something new everyday for a week... Doesn't seem too hard until you try it and run out of ideas but I am bored now and need something to do... Maybe I'll force people to give me ideas?

... So I have been thinking of quitting my job (or at least minimising my working hours) and properly trying to make fursuits for a living. In the last three or four years I have been making personal item I do thik I have improved an aweful lot and this is something I enjoy doing. My techniques have evolved and I now have a better understanding on what the hell Im doing XD
What do you guys think? Is it a silly idea and should I just stick with retail, doing dribs and drabs during my free time? Or should I throw caution to the wind and go for it? If I do, it wont be for a little while as Ill probably need to save a bit of money before hand...

ok, so... rushing into making my fursuit head, ready for this saturday and I have done everything appart from the eyes (STILL waithing for the faulty ones I received to be replaced :/ I may have figured out a temporary solution but it wont look as good as I hoped :( ) and sewing the ears onto the hood... WHICH IS PROVING FAR MORE DIFFICULT THAT I THOUGHT!!! seriously, Im sure I never had this problem sewing ears onto a hood before O.o any help hints or tips would be amazing and rewarded with hugs... I need help with this XD

right, so, due to fucking up of delivery and so on, I will be getting the resin blank mask I ordered in december TOMORROW... a couple of hours before I leave for london MCM expo. this means I will have a few hours (maybe 2?... 3 to be optimistic) to lightly foam and fur an entire head.

Possible, or am I setting myself up for a fall? either way Ill be trying it... even if it means working on the last few bits on the train and at the hotel...

I started off that offer, planning on taking two, maybe three requests but due to my own stupidity took on much more than I could handle... I got out two (like I planned) then became overwhelmed, terrified of letting people down, losing faith in anything I scrawled and eventually getting so down that I haven't mannaged to do anything since. I guess now I can at least say I have learnt a lesson: Only do what you plan to do!
This is my problem so, again, my appologies to those who had a request... I haven't forgotten about you all and I WILL try and force myself to finnish what I promised... Just, bear with me, 'kay? :3

At the moment Im workiong through all me free art requests (a helluva lot more than I originally planned to take on XD)
if you requseted art from me please note Im working through them in a kinda jumbled order... I dont l;ike working in a straight line, as it were... Im less likely to get annoyed and give up if I "mix things up"... that said, Im hoping to churn out one or two a day, and Ill post the like on your page once Im done :3

Im thinking of forcing myself to do another 7 day challenge (drawing/making and uploading something new every day for a week) but this time Im thinking of taking requests from 7 different people rather than just drawing my own fursona... what do you guys think? good idea or not?

Working on my first ever resin cast fursuit head... It seems to be going well so far but once its done I have no idea what to fur it with (dont say fur or fabric, you sarcastic lot!) O.o Any ideas for patterns or colours would be cool and Ill try and work them into the head. Ill post pictures as soon as its camera worthy.

Well, I finally have my paws on a computer again but its been so VERY long that can no longer draw using a tablet... Worst thing is my scanner is miles and miles away (and not set up to anything yet O.o)
Hopefully it shouldn't take me too long to get back into the swing of things and then I will have much more than, well, nothing on here
