So like i said only doing painted sketches this month as i need some cool down from the past 2 months of craziness.

Also casue i don't want to just be biz and shitty life stuff in it entirety on here, i thought i talk about something fun that i think ya'll should check out.


So if you noticed i like battletech, well alongside my love of painting and painting with minis, i also love reading and have slowly been reading a few of the BattleTech novels, witch has been really interesting as this the first time i really used Epub stuff to read the book on my phone before i head to bed, unless i have a one of m frequent headache which regrettable has been slowing my reading of the newest book i got but non the less it has been really nice change of pace as most of my experience with reading book digitally has been with comic and i tend to hate the way the do they tend to do Epub for them. I honestly preferer the old webcomic way of here a page scroll and look at it then hit a button, so ya if you don't have space or want to save cash it a pretty good way to read apparently, who know i guess lol.




First one i read up was BattleTech: redemption rite by Jason Schmetzer, So this was the novel that i was most interested in as a lot of people were saying it was a great place to be your entry point into BattleTech fiction in the current lore and they were not wrong as even with me having read a bit of the lore most of what i know was extremely scattershot or was contained to one sourcebook that just came out, about a small section of the galaxy the universe take place in that not different from said novel. So going in with must well i hope it good and give me a decent frame of reference for stuff maybe and a idea of the general tone and vib of the setting, oh boy was it good.

The book basically is about a famous mercenary know as the wolf's dragoons unit that has ties to one of the major power in the setting know as clan wolf, (there a caste based warrior society, so think Klingons mix with space marines from 40k kinda) and after a minor civil war in the mercs command a bunch of those merc went off to fight with said clan and fucked up badly, so now we have those who stayed behind left to pick up the pieces and deal with there returning fallen comrades. As well as begin there plan to exact revenge on the clan wolf for fucking them over, alongside that we get the perspective on a clan wolf leader as he struggle to maintain the empire after almost every abled boded warrior was taken and along with huge number of supplies and mechs were used in a bid to take earth.

So baring the actual lore and shit the story is about the rebuilding on this merc group and it attack the wolfs empire while there week as part one of there revenge and that decent there some fun bit in that part but what honestly is the most interesting is with our pov character in the wolfs empire. as he basically a man having to rally and hold onto what is basically a huge empire with basically nothing and having to make hard calls as well as dealing with what is basically a massive cultural upheaval when he learns that they finally took over earth and proclaimed themselves ILLCAN aka the king of everything and he missed it, he missed out on the biggest most important event in any warrior in that culture history. so there a lot of interesting bit with him grappling with his faith or loyalty to his clan as he questioning what the point of his actions and his growing resentment to his leader.

So over all i really recommend this book as when i finished it i instantly was left wanting more from these character as well as this writer, there a prequal to the book out called redemption rift and as soon as i finish my current book I'm picking up that to see a bit more of the wolfs dragoons.


The current book I'm reading is another BattleTech novel: A Question of Survival by Bryan Young and while iv only read the prologue and a bit of the first chapter i can definitely say I'm hooked as it written in a way that instantly get you interested in the people we follow and to see what there actions take. this one basically going to have a mix of what goes done from a sourcebook, we got some political thriller stuff mix in with some found family themes and presumably more as iv heard nothing but good thing about the book.

also I'm increasing my prices as once again i think my art has had another decent bit of improvement since as well as me just honestly needing to make bit more just to start adding in a bit of a safety net with all the crazy bull that been happening as of late.

I already began changing the ych pricing if you didn't notice on the last one but single character one are probably going have a standard 60-65 with two character ych's sticking with 75 to 80 as there standard baseline pricing.

Jesus, so my dad car got broken into last night nothing big (he keep a gun in his car, so that would be extremely bad if they got that) was stolen just some ear buds and a few other little but personal things my dad had in there, what suck is it was like just sitting in our drive way and non of us heard it till i guess one of us got up today. like is the third weird ass car related thing to happen over the past few days like we had a branched of a tree fall on one of my brothers shitty as cars (don't ask why he has multiple cars in the city is so fucking dumb and long i don't want to explain this horse shit) and there another time when some girl ran into said cars again before that after being chased through the neighborhood by some guy who throw a gallon of orange juice at her car and screamed some fucked up shit to this fucking lady. we don't know what the fuck went down to cause that but know atlanta and it people there a variety of reasons.


so ya past few days have been a fucking bit of crazy bullshit not to mention by older brother acting like a spoiled child screaming and throwing a tantrum about my dad car, making it like he was the one who car and shit was stole and that it all about him as always.


So sorry if there any delays or slow down on people coms i got to deal with some family shit here and there so that might slow shit down a bit ether from time or just not having the energy to get this stuff done and trust me i want to be done and take a little break next month as my bad is messing with me atm.

Past few and some have just been slowly getting worse with me not being able to fall asleep recently, like yesterday i was up till 5AM just sitting around in the dark trying to fall asleep, try'd reading and a few other thing but not much has been helping. so it's just having a rough go of it with sleep atm and it not just me as my mother been having the same trouble not as bad buf still we been having a hard time sleep recently.


sleep continue to be the strangest battle i constantly have with life.

Nothing on the large scale general prices of stuff mostly in how i do my extra fee's and what not.


Mostly in like the base line complex character fees and the like still thinking over some stuff about how i'll be changing some stuff around as one time, cost of living and my health are the thing that always make me have to think if im upping stuff or changing things.


as always my health is been .... weird to say the least in how some month i do pretty well and other my body shit the bed and is a congregation of insanity that refuse's to not work or die but ya me bod weird alongside any depressive mood that come in and hit me in the face slowing me down too but ya im still trying to do my best with everything and make sure it all fairly priced it just hard sometimes to deal with everything and also feel happy.


Oh also the goal of getting a good bit of cash saved up to get half a years worth of rent to get a house for me and my two besties is on track for me to have most of it by the end of the year thankfully. (i cant wait to just be near my friend so i can just see there faces and also for use all to watch stuff,play games and ttrpgs together and eat dinner together.)

So i'v been wanting to sketch up some design and what not, both to practice character design as well do some more diverse body's as well as refine a few thing that iv been disappointed in how i draw a few body types atm. So iv been doodling a few design and there a couple i drew up that are cute or cool but I'm not super attached too and would like to use to try and sell off to those that might be interested.


so i wanted to as everyone if you buy adopt or design what you preferer as atm I'm leaning towards doing an auction atm both to see how that work out since iv never done one and to give everyone a bit of time to figure if they want it too.

So it seems like im starting to get my energy back today but today not really the best judge of that as this week got even weirder and creepy as last night at like 3 am, were im natural unable to fall asleep so im watch a pathfinder campaign on youtube here my dog barking like she tends to when someone comes up to our house and walking do stairs and seeing what up it turn out that indeed some random mother fucker was just standing there IN front of our front door for like 10 mins.


So naturally me and fam are a bit pissed and frazzled as we all awoke to this bullshit, i got a photo of the creep from the camera on our door my parents are going to be taking care reporting and doing what ever we can as i think we can only just say "hey neighborhood watch/app/community here's this creep keep an eye out" as we don't know what he was intending, presumably robbery i guess since we have a lot of break in's in atlanta.

life wild man, really wish my state would do a lot more to help deal with that and a lot of the other bullshit Georgia that make it annoying to live here(our roads and housing are awful atm in lot of areas) like we've got a LOT of crime problems thought the state, there's a lot of break in and the like, most areas, even the supper safe one are supper with it being prevalent among others stuff.

Man this week has been weird as someday im bursting full of energy and super motivated to get some work done then bam 1 or 2 day of just a shear cliff of tired and sleepiness hit me and leave me fumbling hard to do any as I'm still motivated just sitting at my desk slowly spacing out or just laying my head to like i wana take a nap.

Oof iv got family member who have fun some fucked up stuff getting put in mental health facility's, Helping a friend out after there dad get put in the emergency room as well my sleep problems coming back and making it hard to work on stuff as iv only been getting 5 hours of sleep at best. as well as having some personal revelations about myself too. so lot's happening atm it seems.


I'm Glad with what iv been able to get done with what been going on able the past few days and what not but man, this is so far coming up to be a strange ass month so far. anyway felt like telling ya'll a little update on why iv been a bit slow.

After thinking thing over for a bit i think i know what im going to end up doing for my 500 watcher specials raffle. basically one person going to get a single character illustration shaded and then I'm going to do a stream on twitch or picardo were i draw a bunch ofa few ya'll characters as cute little chibi pep like as seen on my new price sheet.


So to take part in this all you need to be doing is 1 be following me and 2 have a ref sheet of your character you like to get drawn and a pose/topic/them for the chibi doot in a replay to this post.

An example would look like this "congrats on 500 watchers, here's my cow girl oc - link and as for like what i want here doing how about a type cheerleading poses"

from there i give you a number and then we'll do two spins for it one for the full on illustration and then 5 peps will get there chibis drawn on stream. there person who wins the illustration raffle I'll contact and we'll work out what you want for your pic and then get that drawn up some point after that.


If you do all this correctly you be entered in and at the end of this month will see who won and who get the chibis, so you got plenty of time to figure out what you like so feel free to take you time when coming up with stuff. so the stream will happen some time in may hopefully baring any madness or shenanigan's that life may thought my way.

So yesterday was the small con i told yall about going to and working on getting stuff printed for it well, it kinda was not great i ended up just making 20 buck which covers the fee for the table but really just doesn't give me much into the way of gains and i was kinda hoping to at least make 50 buck at the lowest but nope... so atm I'm feeling alittle disappointed and sad.

What extra sucked is i had started getting a sorta look alike for my sona's outfit and didn't get to really show of the top i got recently as it as freezing cold and the wind kept blowing it into the bar were the con was taking place, so i didn't get to show off my cute femme sleeveless turtleneck and that sucked, i literally started back shavings over the past 2 week as i felt so happy to have it and everything as i wanted pep to look how cute i was in it and mother nature got be a dick to me!!!


but at least i have some stuff for FWA i guess as I'm going to try and go to that this year for the first time, both to grab a one of those first come first serve tables i heard about and also as my first time go to it/to a furry con in general.

so ya currently plan is to do that and see what happens and take some sketch coms and what not while I'm there as well as if I'm able to get a little saucy book of baily doots done up for it too.

Well after 70ish and some hours I'm nearing the end of my first playthrough of elden ring it amazing so far with only a liberal smear of bullshit in some areas but other are better at balancing things out in the end but not i'll have limit my time with the game as now i return to my normally scheduled well... schedule.


Got some commission i need to get started work on, iv got like idk 4 or 5 sketches for various drawling that i need to get done for myself alongside a good bit of BattleTech models i need to paint too.

but ya honesty this was a super fun like 5 day for me, i don't think iv felt thing much fun when playing a game in a log time or atleast for this long of a time as most of the games that i "vibe" with a lot are jrpgs that take forever or short interesting indie games or the occasional one off older ps1/2 game but elden ring just struck a cord with me and just was fun as hell to play and fight and explore in that world, kinda let me do a thing i always wanted to do which was just walk around the environments in dark souls 1 with out being messed with by enemies as i just love the design of the places you go in that game as well.


but ya expect some more post in a bit as normal as well the next round of hey my commission are open to pop up again here in a bit.

It amazing and i literally just wondering and finding shit.


Going with a prisoner as my first time playthrough as iv never done a magic-ish first run on one of these games, also ended up making baily kinda as alt to play bit with friends as a strength build main. just been super fun
