Yes, time for an update and explanation. I am not especially active on FA these days, but not because i changed sites or stopped arting entirely. The past two years were.. eventful for me. If you follow me on twitter or telegram you might have a glympse of it, but i decided to make a bit of a summary here:

- in 2021 we went to the States to kind of rescue Raksha's grandma and (what we didn't know then) very ungreatful uncle
- we succeeded but it cost us 3 months of work and torture which had left me damaged physically and in need to recover for few months after we got back
- 2022 came and i struggled to finish unfinished and promised art, obligations i made and such. I succeded to a degree
- I got pregnant before summer and the moment autumn came it began to be harder and harder to focus and work, so after busy summer i had to slow down and eventually stop working by the end of the year.
- in February 2023 i gave birth to our baby boy, and have been caring for him since, almost constantly, full time job.

Now, i had thoughts, opinions, expectations, but, as usual, as they do, the baby took all of that and threw it out the window. I wish i could be back to work already, i need it both mentally and financially, but as of now, i got rid of any delusions about having a say in when i'll be able to have any time for myself or actual work. For those who know, it might explain a bit when i say we got ourselves a high need baby. Be patient, i'm going to come back.. one day. Hopefully this year.

Of course not, haha, but i'll try to be more active here again. I treat this site as a place to put my finished works more than anything, so since i haven't been producing much i've been a bit silent for the past months. My life has been a big tumble since last August and i am only now finishing recovery, mental and physical, looking a bit more to the future than the exhausting past in my recent months.

I will be trying to participate in the Art Fight this month so that should supply a bit of art here (hopefully) but i'm also gonna be trying to come back to regular commissions. It's been months since i posted here and even longer since i took any commissions and there's a reason to it. Unfortunately, the case is also not changing for the better too soon.

From the beginning of September to almost the very end of November, me and Raksha have been to the States to help his grandma and uncle get around and pack to permanently move them to Poland. His uncle lost sight quite suddenly so he couldn't get around nor care for grandma alone anymore. This was the theory, so for most of the summer, we were sitting on bags, waiting if anything changes, waiting for my passport, kind of in a void. I finished up a few projects before going and some, i assumed, i could finish there. The reality was much different.

Our stay in the States (for those who don't follow my telegram channel) was pretty much some kind of either purgatory or hell. Even if you take roaches, dirt, spiders, fleas, filth, and dry high temperatures without AC, the entire stay was a mental nightmare to put it lightly. I endured a lot of insults and psychical pressure just to get grandma home. That's the main reason. But 3 months there did leave a mark on my health and on my work schedule. I'd very much like to forget everything that happened there, but unfortunately, the health problems endure and are the main reason why i can't get back to drawing much even if i'd like to (most of the days that i can't use my right hand are boring as fuck and i just lay around most of the day). i am taking physical therapy for that, hopefully with the year ending it will get better every week. I have some other health issues that i've started resolving slowly, but the whole package makes it harder to untie. I hope i can get back to the land of the living and work on more than base-adopts after the new year.

I've been having some deep personal drawbacks, and since it might not be a full out depression, it stops me from working efficiently now and then. Fret not! I am a weak creature of a weak will. i've decided to leave few othe other ideas in my mind and as soon as i get through the first batch i will try to tackle the next in line! As an addition, i didn't want to make any explanations on how and why, but i guess i should say something. I'm still not exactly free of my school, though i fortunatelly don't have to pay for it anymore, however i do have to spend some time on things related to it. On the other side, though my situation upgraded a bit, i still have horrible creeping debt on my back and i wish to shake it off as soon as possible. So the commissions i've been choosing were very much influenced by what i can work on and finish as fast as possible so i can be able to take more sooner rather than later. Right now, this is my only source of income and i doubt that'll change in any upcoming months. that's why i'm very gratefull for all your support and i hope i can deliver you some quality art as a thank you~

The form is closed, and i've managed to collect and sumarize all responses into one file. Out of 37 forms, 43 ideas has been filed and unfortunatelly 7 of them were disqualified. Now on that matter, at first i though i'm gonna just close my eyes and not see the wrong answers or incorrect informations, i could work with them, i suppose. But the moment more wrong answers started to appear i started doubting my own english writing skills and read the form forth and back 3 times over. However, the fact that 30 other responses were correct, i believe it wasnt THAT hard to just READ it carefully. It's explained and underlined for a reason.. so i assumed these 7 people were either lazy or distracted and it's not my duty to lead you by the hand since all the info were given in the form. that's all.

Out of the 30 responses that i got left with, i've initially drawn 20 ideas, out which everyone who applied for an icon will get it. as for the rest, i need sleep and after i get the rest i need i'll read the ideas again and rethink it properly. I will announce official list of accepted commissions tomorrow and make sure to contact everyone personally to further discuss on commission progress.

I would also like to thank everyone who filed a response or retweeted or shared this form <3 I'm am forever gratefull for the support and i wish i had time to make all of them come to life! As much as i don't have time now to take all of them, i will most possibly draw some more ideas from the same form in the next batch, so even if you applied but don't see your name on the list, there's still a chance~

Some of you following my twitter account are probably aware that I am still alive and working on my big personal project - the comic about Sheya. The comic is a project i chose for my school diploma work and because of the deadline in June, i've been focusing all of my attention, health and skills on it. Unfortunatelly, what once seemed like an advanced progress and and easy task now evolved into very complex project. Despite my focus and hard work throughout last few months, i will not be able to meet the first deadline and will have to take my chances in September. But, i'm still going to finish the comic till the end of June or at least will really try to. Why am i even mentioning this? Well it's because i really wanted to have it done and actually start posting it online this summer. The fact i'm not finishing it now will postpone that untill i've passed the exam in September.

So, if anyone is interested in Sheya and her story, know that the Prologue will be finished soon but i can't be posting it online due to copyright checks before my exams, so it will be available in September. If you wish to have a peek at some sketches or anything comic related, i post some on twitter once in a while and i might revive my patreon (yeah, again) a little bit, once i'm done, and post some insignificant comic content there, maybe some loose sketches and concepts.

The comic has been my every-day struggle for almost 2 months now and i don't do anything else. I actually got to a point where i'm not even able to draw anything that ain't related to a comic and having a break for any unnecessary thing like "fun" (playing, reading, watching a movie) feels like a huge guilt rock over my head. That is why i wish to finish this as soon as possible, to get free of it, at least for a while. so as soon as the prologue is done, i'm takin a mental holiday to recover and shortly after that i'll be opening lots of commission slots. I haven't decided yet on what quality and what way, but i will surely open for few types at once so you can choose whatever seems best for you, if you're interested in taking a commission from me.

first of all, DAMN, i did not ecpect such wide response and i cry internally cause i am not able to take/do all of those offers. either choosing one semmed, or actually, was impossible. so.. i chose three? i know i'm gonna regret it bacause i don't really have that much of a free time during my day, and it's not gonna really change next month, so.. blame it on me.

to explain a bit to those who might get upset, my main factor in choosing wasn't really skill, though it was high in hierarchy. what i love about collabs is that both sides can have fun AND learn something. both sides. so i tried to choose something that will be enjoyable for me too and what i don't know that well, so i can gain some experience too. it ain't fun if one side does all the work, eh?

So.. I'm hearing a lot of that lately "hey, do you have prints of that?", "wow i'd love it on my wall, do you sell prints?"

And really, beside selling few on some EF in the past, i've never considered prints as a constantly available product. Do you think it's a good idea? What size of them if so? A4 is standard, but i think some A3 would work better, maybe. But then again, i have no experience in merchendising such form of art. How do i sell prints so they wont get destroyed, for ex. on their way from EU to US? I wouldnt risk an envelope, even hardened, and a tube for small print or just one of them seems like a bit too much?

i've been in a way forced, or rather i forced myself to reconsider and tidy up my work flow. as all my well looking plans tend to fail tremendously, i gave up making a plan. i'm back on academy, what actually got initiated by a drunk family member getting me stress and hope bursted. i jumped in, i got in, i'm in chool again. and, oH GOSH i'm happy about it. mostly, because it's entirely different school and it's structure and approach is so much different than the one i eventually failed last year. i am now where i wanted to be for those last few years. i hope i can hang on to this boat long enough and get as much treasure as i can. BUT this also means, i'm so much low on free time. AGAIN. i have a tendency for that, ain't i? there's so much overwhelming knowledge i have thrown on me and i need to catch up with the semester, since i joined when the classes already started. that means i go out in the morning and get back when it's already dark, and all i do is lay down on the floor next to my doggo and instantly fall asleep. and then i have to get up and do a zombie-walk through all the chores in the house. this leaves me with very little time to myself, so where do i put work?

well, i have to put it somewhere. i haven't figured out my day-by-day schelude perfectly yet, but for now it seems, i'm gonna have at least one full day of commission only work day. one day in a whole week? gee, that sounds bad. of course i will try to push that work in every free second i have, but unfortunatelly it's not gonna be easy, even less now.

but. you see.
my new school is great, but it's a laughter through tears, cause i have to pay for it. a lot. when i'm done with my current queue, i will probably be opening for pin-up ychs or commissions like the ones i uploaded in september. there won't be many, but will be much frequent than my last few months.

and regarding that money need, there are few changes in my art sites residence.
- i gave up patreon. it's gonna stay there frozen untill i have time to finally start working on Sheya's comic (which i by the way rewrited a bit and am starting to draw it from the beggining with a fresh view. yay, it moves!). till then it's dead. i hate the thought of sharing my work for limited audience and upload it later, when i don't already remember what the work was about. sorry, i'm not the popular type artist, i'm an attention whore that needs love right away.

- every art gallery, beside mentioned AS, here and my twitter, are dead. i will upload mass of arts on them from time to time, but otherwise, there's very little chance i will check them regularly. i'm mostly active on Twitter, where i put lots of wips and personal stuff.

as i mentioned somewhere, i don't like the idea of people paying to see my art. prepaid acces to comic pages are pretty understable, as so limited commissions for patrons only, but i ain't a type of person who can work fast to meet such conditions. i apperciate A TON when people are giving me tips and compliments and want to support me by commissioning me. serously guys, this is best, and i love you. nevertheless, i chose to create a ko-fi page, because it's just a huge tip-jar where tips go right to my account. if you want to help me, to support me financially - go and buy me a coffee. no need for paying monthly, no need to paying regurarly. we live thousands of kilometres away, and a digital coffee is just an easy way to say "hey, i like your art, but why you look so tired? let me buy you a coffee so you can draw some more."

as for some personal insight, i noticed lately that i have a very big problem in adapting to new life situations. i might seem okay, talk and walk like i usually do, but inside i can't move on. it's not even a depression or any mental state i would be aware of. it's probably stress, that i don't want to aknowledge, and it's slowly spreading inside like rust or infection. i find it hard for me to /aknowledge/ things like that. i hide them, ignore them, pretend they don't exist, and it pays of in weeks of stagnation, as always. i think getting a dog (which i wanted eagerly for all my life) in a different way that i planned, and with it being more of a challenge than i could expect, i fell off the edge. it's been 2 months now, and for this whole time i've been under unconcious stress, and having major digestive problems that won't pass no matter what i do.

i am slowly recovering from that, trying to find myself a new routine, that will work me out of this stress state. please be patient with me, since my 'hiatus' and lack of uploads might still continue for a time being.
