Another journal because of journals!
Posted 11 years agoSo alright then, figured I would post another journal here.
I don't exactly have a whole lot to talk about though, any larger projects I've had have kind of been stalled. I just can't seem to write very well anymore when it comes down to anything serious. Mind you I can't write very well at all in the first place, but I'm working on that!
Granted, no matter what I do I always seem to have quotation marks never recognized by FA when submitting anything, but hopefully I can fix that in the future.
Basically just trying to say I'm going to be trying much harder on any projects I have stalled right now, and I'm mostly writing this as a reminder to my future self to stop being so lazy and awful!

Valentines Meme Thing Something
Posted 11 years agoI don't usually do these things, but I saw a few others doing it too so why not? Also because I haven't actually done anything on here in a while.
1: Do you have a crush at the moment?
Not that I can think of!
2: Have you ever been deeply in love?
As far as I could tell, but looking back on it, I'm not so sure anymore
3: Longest relationship you've ever been in?
Hm, two years, I think...
4: Have you ever changed for someone?
I have, but maybe not in the best ways.
5: How is your relationship with your ex?
Decent, I like to maintain contact if I can.
6: Have you ever been cheated on?
Unfortuantely.
7: Have you ever cheated?
Nope.
8: Would you date someone who's well known for cheating?
I don't think I would.
9: What's the most important part of a relationship?
Trust, you can't really get anywhere without that.
10: Do you like to be in serious relationships or just flings?
I prefer serious relationships, I want someone I can lose time with after all.
11: When you are dating someone do you believe in going on "breaks"?
I really don't, "breaks" just feel like a "soft" way to split up with someone.
12: How many people have you ever hooked up with?
Not very many, but I guess you'd have to define "hook up" in the first place.
13: What's one thing you regret saying/doing in a previous relationship?
I regret doing quite a few things, but I regret lying to myself most of all.
14: What age do you think is appropriate for kids to start having sex?
That's a tough question, and also one I don't have a good answer for!
15: Do you believe in the phrase "age is just a number"?
I certainly used to, but nowadays, I'm not so sure.
16: Do you believe in "love at first sight"?
I do, maybe, possibly, probably, sometimes.
17: Do you believe it's possible to fall in love on the internet?
It would depend on the person really, and how truthful they actually are.
18: What do you consider a deal breaker?
Not liking Animal Crossing, and or cheesecake (the only exception would be an allergy to either).
19: How do you know it's time to end a relationship?
When you start to feel tension just with talking, or if they cut down all (or at least 49%) of your trees in Animal Crossing.
20: Are you currently in a relationship?
Nope.
21: Do you think people who have dated can stay friends?
Of course they can, but it would also depend on the people!
22: Do you think people should date their friends?
That's hard to say, once you try something like that it's kind of hard to go back.
23: How many relationships have you had?
Four.
24: Do you think love can last forever?
For the lucky few!
25: Do you believe love can conquer all things?
Not everything, but quite a lot of them, no matter what Flonne tries to tell you.
26: Would you break up with someone your parents didn't approve of?
I doubt it.
27: If you could go back in time and give yourself one piece of advice about dating what would it be?
Spend more time with someone before you decide to open yourself up to them. Obvious advice, but advice I ignored before.
28: Do you think long distance relationships can work?
I used to think they could, but not anymore.
29: What do you notice first about another person?
Their eyes.
30: Are you straight, bi, gay or pansexual?
Gay.
31: Would it bother you if your partner suffered from any mental illness?
Er, it would depend on how serious of an illness we're talking about here.
32: Have you ever been in an abusive relationship?
It would depend on what you call abusive.
33: Do you want to get married one day?
Eh...
34: What do you think about getting your partner's name tattooed?
On me? No thanks, I'm not a fan of tattoos in general, much less of names.
35: Could you be in a relationship without sex?
Probably not, but I don't know what it's like!
36: Are you still a virgin?
Yes, if you couldn't tell from the above.
37: What's more important: Looks or personality?
Personality, what you look like doesn't mean anything if I don't enjoy talking with you.
38: Do you enjoy love films?
Not all the time, but maybe once n a while.
39: Have you ever given anyone/received roses?
I think I gave someone a rose once, but I can't remember when or why.
40: Have you ever had a valentine?
Mhm, though it was a while ago.
41: What's your imagination of a "perfect date"?
This would depend on the person, but I'd love to watch a terrible movie, have a giggle about it, play a few games under a giant blanket, then take a nap under said blanket until we were both awake enough to do whatever they wanted to do next. Silly and simple, but it's something I'd love.
42: Have you ever read "Romeo & Juliet"?
I have, but it was quite a long time ago.
43: What's more important: Your partner or your friends?
Since I don't have a partner right now, my friends. But even if I did have one, my friends have prove to be more reliable in the past.
44: Would you consider yourself "romantic"?
I'd like to think so, but I'm probably not.
45: Could you imagine to date one of your current friends?
Hm, maybe, but I don't think any of them would be up for it.
46: Have you ever been "friendzoned"?
I really do hate that word, but I guess I technically have before, and it's not the greatest feeling.
47: Which "famous couple" is your favorite?
Er, I don't really know any famous couples.
48: What's your favorite love song?
I don't have one!
49: Have you ever broken someone's heart?
I doubt it.
50: If you're single, why do you think you are?
I don't think I'm engaging enough to hold someone's interest for very long, or maybe I'm just not that fun to be around.
51: Would you rather date someone who's rich but a douchebag or someone who's poor but a nice guy?
Can't I just have a rich nice guy? But I'd take the poor nice guy over the rich douchebag. Unless I could date the rich douchebag for five seconds, take the money, and then go find myself a poor nice guy who would soon not be so poor.
52: Are you good at giving other people advice regarding dating/ relationships?
I think I'm alright when doing that, even if I hadn't had much luck myself.
53: Are you jealous of couples when you're single?
Yeah, unfortunately, but that's just how it is I guess.
54: How important is it to make a relationship official (p.e. on facebook)?
Not that important, it's fine just as long as both partners know about it.
55: Would you consider yourself "clingy", "overly attached" or "jealous"?
I'm kind of clingy by nature, which is probably something I need to fix.
56: Have you ever "destroyed" a relationship?
I don't think I have.
57: Do you think it's silly to consider suicide because of a broken heart?
I wouldn't say it's "silly" but it's not a good idea in the slightest.
58: Are you the "dominant" or the "submissive" part in a relationship?
I'm usually pretty dominant, despite how I appear.
59: Have you ever forgotten important dates like your partner's birthday or your anniversary?
I'm usually pretty good with that stuff, kind of, maybe...maybe not.
60: What's your opinion on open relationships?
I don't really like them, but if someone wants to have one (and I'm not in it) that's fine by me!
61: Who's more important: Your partner or your family?
My family always comes first.
62: How do you define "cheating"?
With a dictionary.
63: Is watching porn while being in a relationship inappropriate?
Nah, porn is fine.
64: Do you think Valentine's Day is overrated?
Probably, but it's not hurting anyone! Thoughitmaybemakingmealittlebitter
65: Would you consider yourself a "cuddler"?
I'd consider it, and probably am.
1: Do you have a crush at the moment?
Not that I can think of!

Still trying to get back online..
Posted 12 years agoI've borrowed an old laptop that I'm trying to setup so I can use until I get another one, but I've still been having a few problems with it. My old method of connecting requires an iTunes install, which is trying it's hardest not to work for me. I tried about five different versions to install yesterday, getting only one to work today only for it to tell me to unistall it again!
It keeps saying it doesn't have the required software to synce with my phone, which is really getting to me here. I'm still trying though, hopefully I can get this working.

Might be back online later today!
Posted 12 years agoI have a laptop setup that I'll be able to use later, it's just a matter of actually being able to get it online. Sadly, it would be the same limited net I had before, but I would at least be able to get back on Steam and talk with everyone.
I really have missed being able to speak with everyone easily, so it would be great to get back. When I start school near the end of the month though my connection may change for the better.
So here's hoping I can get back and slowly take back my rightfully sleepy spot at the top of the sleepbre empire.

Broadchurch tonight.
Posted 12 years agoI almost forgot it was on honestly, but I'm watching it at the moment. Anyone else watching?
Small status update of sorts.
Posted 12 years agoI got a handle on my driving fears a few days back when I went onto the road for a little while. I was nervous and didn't go much further than a gas station, but baby steps. The only real issue is that a lovely wasp couple decided to settle down underneath my car, and I happened to distubr them by moving it.
I wasn't stung, thankfully. After I accidentally disturbed them I drove around in the school parking lot to lose them and then drove to the gas station. I waited a minute or two before getting out though, wasps really scare me like nothing else..
My real scare happened when the empty nest fell from the car right next to me. I had sort of Animal Crossing type scare like when a nest fall from a tree; that one second of "Oh no..." and then you rush to a neighbor's house only to find that this is the one time they aren't home. Thankfully for me the nest was empty though, so I managed to survive the day.
In other news, I'm all set for my first semester...mostly, but I'll be ready before the month is over (which may or may not be when I can get back online)! Hopefully things will work out alright, but I'm sure they will somehow. That's pretty much it besides the occasional kitty that crosses through the yard.
Here's hoping everyone is having a good day.

Possible temp chat solution-ish maybe perhaps...hopefully
Posted 12 years agoWell, there was an application on my phone that I forgot about; two actually, but one of them didn't work so I won't mention it...besides mentioning the fact that I'm not mentioning it.
Anyway! I forgot about the Textfree application on my phone because it was extremely slow the last time I used it. But it turns out it was just lag from there being so many loaded messages (I'm an idiot apparently).
So, the easiest way to get in touch with me would be to text 1 (804) 715-5273. This isn't the best solution of course, but it's the best I can do until I get a new laptop.
Another note though, I'd send many short messages instead of a few long ones. The application has a character limit that screws with stuff sometimes.

New Whose Line!
Posted 12 years agoWhose Line Is It Anyway? is back on the air! It's even better than I expected it to be, I pretty much almost doubled over twice. Can't wait to see more!
Online chatting on mobile
Posted 12 years agoWould anyone happen to know a good chatting client I could use to get in touch with people again on a mobile device? I'm kind of at a loss here.
Small update of things
Posted 12 years agoWell, since I can't really do too much online now, prepare yourself for a wave of bad journals.
My phone is doing alright now, so that's something for me to cheer about. To make things even better though, there have been less bees flying around to scare the stuffing out of me. Today has been kind of a good day in general.
I was also given a copy of Dark Souls recently, and have made it pretty far in these past few days. I'm still looking for a job without much luck, and I'm starting school in a little less than two months. Hopefully everything turns out alright there.
I've also started to pick up drawing again recently, which mostly means I just take about half an hour out of my day to just doodle anything and everything to get used to drawing again. I'd like to think that I'm actually getting close to being able to draw things and have them mostly look like what they're supposed to be!
On the other hand though, my rate of writing has dropped almost completely. Without anyone to talk about my writing/world building with, and the fact that my book isn't reachable right now has really killed my writing drive. That may get fixed soon though.
That's all there is to say for today really, here's hoping today is a great day for everyone!

Phone problems as well now, oh boy...
Posted 12 years agoI may not be able to get on anything AT ALL, for a little bit, or maybe much longer..
I'm having trouble with data rates now as is while I don't have a job, so this may be my last day in contact with people for quite a few months. It also doesn't really help that I haven't been feeling too well these past few days.
I'm still looking for work, but my range is limited. My fear of driving has come back to me again in full force to for reasons I don't understand. I'm so very sorry to anyone who wanted to speak to me, and everyone that I wanted to speak to as well.
My motivation for things has been slipping lately, so I don't see much good coming out of my situation. Your best bet with getting in contact with me now might actually be written mail. If you interested in sending me a letter, I could always note you with an address; good mail often brightens up my day for a bit.
That's all I have to say really. I don't know when my last day using this is, but goodbye everyone; it's been nice talking to you.
Edit: Well, managed to work out something so I'm good for now! This is probably the best thing to happen this week. I'll still be able to post here for a bit, and I might actually have a laptop to use in a week or two.

Not the bees!
Posted 12 years agoSince I'll still be without a computer for a bit, I'll probably do a little status update now and then.
To make sense of the title, I just had to run for my life against the most agressive bee I've ever seen, and felt. I've been bothered by them all day (and had my heart rate double way more times than I'd like), but this guy was sure as heck mad at something. First he smacked into my forehead, making me freak out more than usual, and then he smacked right into the back of my head while I was running away!
Needless to say after the second smack I was pretty sure I set some kind of speed record. I think by now I've finally calmed down, but man are these little guys out to get me.

More laptop trouble...
Posted 12 years agoWell, unfortunately today my laptop decided that it wouldn't power on anymore. I'm on FA with my phone right now, just kind of wondering what the heck I can do now. I'm glad that I was at least able to get on FA with this, but without my laptop I'm pretty much stuck right now.
I'm sure what I have on it can still be rescued at somepoint, but for right now it's just sitting there. This is basically an apology to everyone; I'm sorry, but I probably won't be back on Steam/Skype for quite a few months. All I'll really be able to do is check in with FA every once in a while.
I'll get back on eventually though, with the best case scenario being in November at the current rate, but even then it may just still be Skype. Once again though, I'm sorry for leaving everyone again, but it's really out of my hands now.

Well, I need to kind of expand what I work with.
Posted 12 years agoI've recently been wanting to take on writing requests because whenever I start working on my longer project now it really starts to weigh down on me. So, I just wanted to know if anyone either had a personal prompt they wouldn't mind me writing from, or if they have a story they'd like to work on with someone else.
I'd definitely be up for either, but especially the second since I do my best when I have someone else to creatively bounce off of. So if either options sounds like something you'd want to trust me with, go ahead and comment about it on this journal or send me a note if you think it's a little private. I generally don't shy away from any topics, so feel free to come to me with any idea you have floating around.
On another note/rant/update, I just wanted to mention that I may be able to get back on Steam again in the coming week, but it's kind of a slim chance as I might have some trouble again if I don't find work soon. Hopefully I'll be able to straighten that out though.

I'm alive...ish!
Posted 12 years agoI've been gone for a good while, but I've been able to get back online with a few things now and then over a bit. I've been trying to work a few different projects lately but without much luck, I feel like I'm kind of in a slump as far as prose goes.
Anyway, I suppose this is just a message saying that I'm still around-ish, I'm just not as frequently appearing as I used to be.
