Geez I have been really behind on updating my submissions and journals. I have commissioned a buttload of art, so in the next few weeks i'll dump it all out and get this place dusted off.

Another FJ has come and gone and now i feel absolutely wrecked and relieved. I know I couldn't have done it without all of my amazing friends, staff, and volunteers. Without this amazing community, FurJAM would not happen. I love you all.

I'm not exactly sure what happened in 2016. Felt like it went by like a speeding freight train. Sometime during the year I remember attending some Cons, buying a car, drinking loads of booze, being a potato. Most of it was spent working.

I think in 2017 I'll try fursuiting more and maybe eating healthier? See how long that lasts ha!

Definitely the "party con" when you are getting drunk every night without realizing the slow slow slippery slide toward drunk. It was so fun!

Got some suiting action in, played super smash, chilled with friends, met new ones, got loads of shit at the dealers den... Defs best time!

Being dragged out west, 6 hour drive, to see family. Will most likely miss everything or anything planned for the weekend. Lame fail. Will attempt sketching, gameboy pocket, and musicing to entertain myself for next several days.

One year in the fandom, and my first con.


The first of December has been a pretty important day this year. It was the start of midfur, my first con. And also exactly 1 year since i consider my joining into the fandom after years of camping in the closet. And really my life has never changed so much then it has in the past year then ever. I've never done so much, made so many friends.
It all started with my joining Furstralia, and posting in the greetings section (December 1st 2009) . I could give out special thank you's to tonnes of people that made an impact. But the person that stands out is . If he hadn't read that greeting, and hadn't added me to msn, then none of this would have spiraled out of control :P
I went to my first pub meet. There i met several people that have made epic impacts in my life. takes the cake cause he's my awesome kitty. And to keep this short, i think the rest know who they are :3

Anyways Midfur being my first con, i had high expectations and was very very excited. Most of those expectations were filled bar the hotel... being supposedly 4 and a half stars... Laughable. (did they lose half a star for lift noises and roof leaking?) I want to tell everyone what happened. But so much did. Lets keep this short of a rant. But yes, Midfur was fucking awesome! Thanks to every fur that went, volunteered, organized, entertained and worked hard. I haven't seen so many furs in one place. I haven't met so many furs either. That sense of belonging was definitely at its strongest.

To keep this short, i just want to say thank you to everyone... Yup... Everyone. Every fur and every friend. Because without such a gift, i would not be who i am today.

Everyone has read the new agreement (on cub porn), everyone has had their opinion, I'm sure everyone is going to continue to rage, laugh, troll, and argue against or with for the next few days. But i have to say... Why bother.

FA is an art site. There is plenty of art and porn here for everyone and anyone that says they are over 18 can see. I have seen everything from huge penises that devour females to the dirtiest furry rape. Why bother even banning Cub. Because it so called "depicts a child in a situation some people do not agree with". But what is art and what isn't. There is plenty of art out there with naked children with naked people, in situations very much the same. I bet bums that cant afford the internet go to museums to get off.

So if there is worse stuff on FA, I'm interested to see how far you can go till everything that depicts something that doesn't exist but in our imagination, in a scene that we might not approve of finally also gets banned. Why are we even here in the first place?

I don't think there is any porn on FA... Just Art... to get people off. Doesn't hurt anyone right?

I don't really do those silly meme's or anything. Or questionnaires, well I'm not gonna do something that is testing me for answers. I'm just gonna do it my way.
So midfur is coming up in about a week. Mega, mega excited about it. Even more excited to meet all you furries out there i am yet to meet, and of course enjoy the atmosphere of a large group of people all congregating for the same reason. It's really going to be one of those 'i finally fit in' moments.

And of course it is a year of firsts for me. Even at the end of this year of firsts ill be achieving more. First time to Melbourne of Victoria for that matter, first time driving interstate, first con. It's almost dawned upon me that i have been in the furry community for a year (i just go on when i first met another fur), so that I'm sure is some sort of first too. This all makes me excited for what the future holds, the short and the far. Starting with midfur, i think its going to be even more awesome from now on.

Anywho, I'll be staying at Rydges, and yes i want a picture with you, and yes you can buy me a drink. etc etc lol I'll be driving my rust box down on the 1st of december. So yeah look out for me. If you don't know me, come up and introduce yourself. If you do already know me... then I'm probably already drinking a beer with you talking about the possibility of a furry flavored alcohol beverage and other furry/alcohol related subjects.

Before i say anything about how fantastic Furjam was and how if it was an object i would be bumming it right now cause its that amazing. Just gotta make a huge
shoutout to  rayliehm Because without his personal time, money, blood and sweat. It just really wouldn't have been the event that it had been.

Now on to the important parts... It rocked!!!! Best furmeet ever. Got drunk Friday night, suited all day Saturday. Listened to the dirtiest stand up comedy, thrax style, won the poker tournament then bummed my way to the top in the scavenger hunt. Hugged more people in a weekend then i have in my whole live. Got hit with a pink bat, became a Doritologist, got glomped several hundred times, more bumming. And met even more wonderfully awesome furries.

Now I'm sick, tired, lost my voice. But it was soooo freaking worth it haha.

Thanks to everyone for making it a super duper gangly awesome fun weekend. See you all at Midfur wooooo.
