Right. So...I was taking a shower, and I got to thinking.
I wanna make an awesomely cool suit :3 But after a while, I think all of my designs suck. (LOL Artist complex)
Soo Yeah.
This is going to be really simple. I'm going to leave this running probably until some time in August(or if one absolutely blows my mind away and I'm like...MUST MAKE THIS NAO)
What I'ma need from yall is to submit a design (one per person, but you can have someone else draw it if you want/need to)with a 2 view minimum on the character, and whether or not you want it toony or realistic. I will also be able to make adjustments as I see fit to the final design for creative/artistic purposes, so don't submit something you want to 100% look exactly like the picture(EX Fursona). The design can be exhisting or one you just made up, so have fun with it :3
It can be a partial, full, or quad suit.
I WILL NOT BE GIVING A DEADLINE FOR THE COMPLETION OF THIS SUIT SINCE NO MONEY IS GOING INTO IT(except final shipping). Additionally, If I don't like any of the designs, I may not make one at all. Since I'm kind of doing this on a whim, I'll leave that up to you guys to WOW me.

General | Posted 15 years agoI ran out of quiet things to work on for commissions. The airbrush and sewing machine are too loud to mess with at 3AM, so I started working on the body padding for mah liger :3

every time I try, and I start drifting off, I jump back awake, but I'm feeling so out of it, I'm afraid to work on commission stuff for fear of fucking it up, or seriously hurting myself between dremel, hot glue gun, and sharp pointies of many kinds. So I've been laying in bed since 7, trying to fall asleep...
Well, I'ma go reset my alarm to noon instead of 11, since i'm starting to be tired again...kinda. I guess. So much to do, so little sanity.

A few hours later, I came up with a whole....2....characters....Maybe.
:c I also realized, I don't really have that much in my life that I really freaking love. As far as hobbies and stuff goes. I make fursuits, and I draw....I obsess over The Lion King...And I enjoy anime....

So, in leu of putting up a meme thing with only one character on it, my favorite character in the whole world is Duo Maxwell from Gundam Wing....

I'm STILL waiting on the 2 wigs to show up from....CHINA... >.> Yeah. But they shouldnt be much longer....I hate it when they give you like a 2 week window of when stuff might show up. it's stupid...
And I'm saiting a couple more days on emergency fur, since I ran out of one of the colors with just hands and feet to finish really. That and finish sewing up a body suit and remaking a head.

..so they offered me a position as a supervisor...

I mean, it pays better, but I've never been a manager thing before...Also it's night shift, so 11PM to 8AM, mostly Tuesday and Wednesday nights.....ffffffff

Anywho, first up is a realistic canine head (nick named Kai ) I made for practice. it turned out nice, and i'm really happy with it, but it doesn't suit me as a personal, so he/she is up for adoption :3
I've also got 2 boxes of scrap fur, one I'll be custom cutting large pieces of overstock that I've got for whoever wins it. The colors by the end of the auction might not be the same as the ones listed.
And I've got an auction up for a Quad suit commission, starting at $800...because...I'ma whore for quads, and I really wanna make one again :3...>.> even though i'm making one for myself >w>....they're just fun.

I've been thinking...Come fall there's going to be a looong, con less stretch for me, and I don't take those times well. I start getting all derpressed and antisocial with everything...So I've been debating on hitting an out of state one. It's a toss up right now between MFF, FC, and Ohayocon (anime, but still very win). Depending on how things go, I'll deffinitely be heading for the later of the three, but I'd be stuck between the first two, with MFF winning out because FC would be so close to Ohayo. All three would require me to fly, wich is an easy 300, and the hotel will be crazy expensive if I go alone....So...

But yah. Planning ahead is awesome ;3

General | Posted 15 years agoHai~ I'ma be dead-ish for the next 3 days. I'm not sure if I'll be on the interwebs much (because I still have suit pieces, personal and for my mom) to finish for tomorrow at the hotel and I'll probably going to be working on those when I get back tonight.

But it's all good. Some furbid stuff is endeing today (4yards of short brown fur and the black grey and dark red scraps) And the rest has till friday.
I'm planning on making some more random head bases to sell. I've already got a fox planned, and I'm looking for 2 more animals to play with. Any suggestions? :3

Fursuit Commissions~ August block almost full

I've got slots for one more partial and one full suit for an august completion date as long as deposits are in before june. (think 3 months after depost, ya?) I can do bits and pieces as well, and I've been getting a lot of interest in just foam head bases (gonna run between $60 and $120*quad*) So those will also be open.

General | Posted 15 years agoSo, my mom had me drop everything I was doing work wise and the last 2 days (with a short pieriod this morning of being out of the house) We've gutted the spare room, reorganized it, and I'm about 80% set up to being able to crack out some suits at a blinding speed :D
Sooooo much stuff I'm getting rid of too. I totally just spammed Furbid XD
I've got 2 foam bases up that were made when I was bored at home and unable to get to the workshop from over a month ago, the second suit I ever made (a quad lion), and 4 boxes of scrap fur. stuffs ranging between $5 and $50 at the moment (unless people bid. have no clue).
Also, I'm setting up a website and I got myself a Youtube for fursuit stuffs *points down* They're both so ghetto tastic. I don't know coding at all, so I'm just flailing about and such.
I'ma be posting Furbid pics tonight, and NICE Commission progress/comleted pics durring the rest of the week. My mom got a new camera and..is niiiice~<3`
Oh...DId I mention I haven't slept it 2 days? No?
Well...that's what I'ma be doing as soon as I post stuffs, so I shall see everyone on the morrow *daze*

Getting everything settled
General | Posted 15 years agoRight. As most people know by now from 
lazywolfcreations Journal, we've officially split, which includes splitting of the workshop. I've moved all of my materials back into my normal (key on normal) house with the mom and step dad (oh fun) and have been working out of my room for the last handful of days. There's not exactly much extra space to put things here, but I've been working on getting organized at the same time as working on finishing up pieces for Rampage Da Coon (name pending?) and the Ferret partial that was won on furbid about a month ago from Lazywolf. The ferret is just about ship worthy, but I've got a new job interview later today that's going to be taking out a good chunk of time. Hopefully I will be able to get that out this friday, as WELL as the raccoon, who's just got feet left to be made and a spare tail for partialing.
*On the coon, I'm more that likely going to be making a second head for that one. The original head we put together, in my opinion, looks a bit too small for the full suit and makes me sad because we were really proud of it when we finished it. :/ I think the new policy on full suits is to make the body first, then make the head so the proportions dont go out the window.
Also, if you took note on the job interview, I quit disney and they can kiss mah furry ass. c: I'm so happy I'm not their slave anymore :D And shall be picking up at a somewhat closer to my house CVS that pays more and my mom's friend works at so it should be awesome. :3
Honestly, I didn't really want a new job right away, but she dropped the "but we're hiring. it's just not announced yet" so I got the "do it now or else" glare. *shrugs*
In final news, I'm going on a real vacation this weekend. May's completely snuck up on me, but we're (me and my mom) gonna be going to St.Augustine this weekend until....monday? or tuesday. I can't remember x3 the historical district, cause we're paranormal geeks like that. But cool stuff is we're going on a tour of the light house at night and we get to go inside :3, and a tour in a herse :D, and a pub crawl tour n_n...and like...a bunch of other stuff. And we're staying in a technically haunted bed and breakfast (the Casablanca) right off the water (but I think our room's in the back T.T). Ah well. So i'll be gone for this weekend. In case I don't get a chance to mail the two Suits in question, they will be going out next week at the absolute latest, and I'm really sorry about any delays T T.
Also, Badges will be going out next week as well, for any that have not recieved theirs yet. All badges are finished and more or less need lamanation (which the laminator has to be replaced. It ate a badge T.T so it's done). And shipping. I'm going to double check I've got the rest of the addresses, and be mailing them out.
