The protestors are trying to fight against police brutality in their state. They've seen a lot of unnecessary violence and death, including the Michael brown incident where police fired on a black male while he had his hands in the air.
Man is harassed and suffocated after stopping a fight between two people. He is later announced dead.

Does anyone know this artist?
Posted 12 years agoA few months back, during Furry Connection North, I commissioned a badge from an artist in the dealers den and emailed my ref to her. She said she may be able to finish it before the end of the con and I figured if not she would email me. Her name was trickyartfuldodger or 
artful-dodger.
I payed about 30 dollars for the badge and I haven't received any contact from the artist since the convention.
I don't even care much about the commission as much as I just would like to know what happened. I hope it was nothing serious :/

Went to this really great Japanese restaurant with my parents and a friend and it was really really yummy. Unfortunately, there's not a whole lot that you can do at 19, so it's not too big of a deal. xP Still super happy though.
Happy new year as well to everyone! Hope you are all having a great year so far!

They asked if I had any bible readers, talked a little bit about the Mayan calendar, and gave me a copy of, "The WatchTower Announcing Jehovah's Kingdom". One of the quotes on the front page is, "Does god care about women?". They also gave me a copy of, "Awake!" doomsday edition.

Posted 13 years agoYup. So, apparently, this guy going is giving away 100 dollars, no contest, nothing you have to do except make a journal advertising his journal on the raffle.
Seems more like a lottery to me because you can add 'donations' to the prize, but whatever. x3
