Well, all good things must come to an end, and so I board the plane back to FL in a few hours, and leave my love still here in MA.
Obviously its the most immensely depressing thing to ever do ever, forever, and it hurts like nothing can ever hurt before, but it has to be done and shit for right now, until the time can come when we both can GTFO of our current home-lives for a life with the other.

The big dump of paint pics I did while I was here wouldn't upload for some weirdass reason, sooo that'll have to be uploaded later today when I'm back in FL.

Hopefully also, I'll be opening 2 commission slots when I get back, so I can get down into work, instead of laying down and dying in depression (as I tend to do quite a lot after these trips, though I've been trying to power through those for the last few months; still suck at it though xP)

SO YEAH finally finished current commissions, and I'm gonna be randomly plopping out more random TFs that I've saved up, idea-wise. Workwise, there may be another commission coming up + a trade I has with someone, and maybe just random "actual" pronz, since its not something I do often x3

Every attempt is always just as hard as the next and previous, and it becomes this infathomable Hell of procrastination and unwillingness.
SOoo, I ask if anyone knows any good techniques to color an image at a fairly swift pace, in Photoshop - omm CS3?
I already do the lineart/ink on one layer, and color underneath, its just that that takes me forever and a half. Only this recent time I've actually experimented with multiple layers for different color parts, and while that helped a liiiiiittle bit, it wasn't enough to make it any less GYARRGHARRGLE.
Since, other than lazy splashes of color, there probably wouldn't be any general colored pics other than commissioned pics, since its just so damn time-consuming.
And I'd really like to change that and be able to do fully colored things more often :<

But yah, in other news. Michele Bachmann. I dislike her immensely.

Today was rather interesting x3
I've only had like, one submission that hints toward this, but I'm a total Brony now! Maybe my faves gave that way too, but whatevaaa
THING WAS, there's this drawing thingy, drawball, right? Where you can just draw shit anywhere on this bigass ball that others can see and draw on.
Now the go-to imageboard for all your pony love, Ponychan, kept getting their pony drawings parasprited(trolled) by Frenchponies from another site, believing Ponychan to be 4chan, no matter what they said (or something like that, I'm not ENTIRELY privy to what was going on to cause this), and alls I knows was hate and anti-pony-graffiti was rampant :<
But everypony at Ponychan wouldn't give in to hate, and decided to actually extend an olive branch of sorts to the fair nation. And an awesomely planned plan was planned and set off just this evening, to draw a Noel-related France pony, to show that we mean no trolling, we're not 4chan, and that we just wanna be friendly.
And so the Bronies who knew of it WOOSHED onto drawball at a specific time (after the character outline was finished) to quickly paint and fill in the drawing, as well as repair damage made by parasprite attacks.
And slowly but surely, they finally noticed our Noel pony was meant for them, and began ceasing their attacks, posting in delight, loving our extended hoof to them, and even helping defend it and recolor it from attacks. Their site now appears to be good friends with Ponychan.

And I swear, it was like, SOOO fackin' awesome dood XD

Its like one of those genuine friendship moments that one sees constantly flouted about in any show for kids and teens, but who knew it really felt so good?
My boyfriend  retardfabio and I were part of the Bronies who helped fill in the color and stave off attacks and graffiti on it (before my internet went kaplooey in a long shenanigans-filled attempt to help get more resources to better help the image)
and it feels GREAT to have to had a hoof in something that produced so much good n_n

SOooo yeah, I just felt like sharing this to anyone who cares XD
I actually did think for a second to hop on here and journal about it waay early so that we could get help fending off attacks and finishing the picture, but I'm too derpy to remember to do so 6_9

WOOH, finally finishing up the long first session of commissions, which I never expected to stretch out so long x.x

I did the classic newb mistake and bit off more than I could chew in the interest of MONEY MONEY MONEY THINGS *cough*
Yeah, I can be greedy as balls, so I eagerly opened color commissions since thats what people seemed to want.

Another big mistake on my part XD

The reason I didn't offer them in the first place is because I do lineses and sketchy things much better and FAR more prompt than colored pics.
As well, I'm not thaaat good in coloring, imo, and really really really have no patience for it, unless I'm just splashing on low-transparency color (lazy-color in my terms).
Sooo, I'm not sure if I should keep offering color commishies or not x.x

Dilemma aside, expect a string of loooots of works coming from me the next few days, since I'd drawn a LOT in the past, and traditional during my trip to New Hampshire, and I gathered a SHITTON of things that I'm gonna be throwing up like a carsick kiddy on an upside-down tilt-a-whirl.

The thing is, I didn't wanna upload ANY until I was finished with the current string of commissions, and I've stuck hard to that, UNTIL NOW, since they're finishing :3

I went on a trip to New Hampshire to visit my long-distance/online significant other  retardfabio for the first time.

It was sex.

Ah yes, things have slown up terribly, getting easily distracted and pulled into drama, and I haven't been much able to keep things updated.
Kinda sucks as a first impression, doesn't it?
The thing is, a very important trip has come up, amidst other things, and I will be away from my comp/Photoshop for 2 weeks, meaning everyone's commission would technically be delayed (since I usually nowadays just draw in Photoshop).

BUT, I can say that while away from my comp (which is a distraction from work in itself), I can actually physically draw these commissions via pencil and paper (maybe send previews by taking a picture of them), and as soon as I get back, they'd go into the scanner, and inking and coloring can commence.
I see this as a way to (hopefully) kickstart back into art-gear and get things done, so I hope this way could be accepted D:
