Had an amazing idea for a comic commission
Posted 9 years agoFurlock is walking along, when all of a sudden he sees a monster attacking someone down an alley. He runs in to help, his magical boy transformation kicks in, and the whole scene unfolds as both the victim and the monster watch as he's undressed by disembodied hands, diapered up, then dressed in his magical boy outfit, as though an invisible adult is dressing him for the day. After transforming, he's ready to fight the monster, only to see that both the monster AND the monster's potential victim are snickering, and then full-on laughing at how embarrassing his costume looks. Furlock's power, being fueled by his own embarrassment, goes full on supernova, and he totally decimates the entire alleyway, blasting the whole area --as well as leaving both the monster AND the helpless civilian-- as nothing but charred remains. With his power all spent, and no bad guy to fight, he reverts back to his normal clothes, and walks off with a pout, grumbling a "Not again..." to himself as he walks back out to the sidewalk.

New Padded Suit Pics
Posted 10 years agoThe AUP states "3.5 - Photography depicting nudity (exposed buttocks, breasts, bulges, outlines of genitalia, etc.) or indecently-clothed models (undergarments, diapers, lingerie) is prohibited. Exceptions may be made for swimsuits worn in public locations, such as a pool or beach."
What I don't fully understand is whether by "models" refers to humans, fursuiters, or anything at all, so I'd like to get that bit of semantics put to bed. Still, if you'd like to see the pics now, you can find them at my dropbox here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/gtgdshqp.....2vDguT-0a?dl=0

Fursuit is finished~
Posted 10 years agoAnd it's aaaaaaaall mine. I love it, and I'm more than happy with it. A few little things I need to take care of, but nothing I don't think I can't handle. Certainly not shipping it all the way back to Japan for little tweaks here and there. XD
Pictures will of course be coming soon. Just needing some better lighting and someone to operate the camera. Or at least to get the camera set up on a proper tripod so I can take some myself.

Furlock's Backstory
Posted 10 years agoYeah, I *finally* got around to writing it. Don't expect anything fancy. It's just a little blurb to push the birthday journal outta the way.
Three years after the events of the Lylat wars, Wolf was doing his mercenary thing as usual, meeting up with a lady wolf at a bar one night. Her red hair was long and flowing, nearly down the entire length of her back. Her eyes shone like garnets, and her fur was as black as the depths of space itself. The two wolves hit it off pretty well, and decided to have a bit of fun, heading back to Wolf's place for the night. The next morning, Wolf wakes up and finds his lady friend had taken off, likely a roamer like he was, never content to stay in one place very long. Despite this, Wolf can't help but feel a bit of resentment towards the woman; left somewhat disheartened after --for once-- feeling like he wanted something more than just a one-night stand. With little other option, he goes on about his life, though now a bit bitter about what could have been. "Women... who needs 'em?" he'd say when asked.
About 9 months later, Wolf gets a message from an anonymous source that there's a sizable stash of treasure on a remote planet, one often used as a dumping ground due to its uninhabitability. Being a mercenary, Wolf can't pass up a chance at a big haul, and goes to check it out. Upon landing at the included coordinates, all he finds is a small life support capsule with a baby inside. The runt is blind in his left eye, just like Wolf. With red eyes and hair, and jet black fur, it only takes Wolf one look at the kid for him to know in his heart that the cub is his son. He takes the little pup home to Sargasso space station, his little criminal hideout in the asteroid fields of Meteos. There he raises his baby boy with the help of Panther, who acts as an uncle to Furlock, if perhaps a bit begrudgingly.
Time passes, and Furlock grows into a fine man, eager to help his dad with the mercenary business, and eventually take over one day. He learns to fly his own Wolfen, and is constantly tinkering around with his ship's guns.

A Furlock Fursuit? Part 2!
Posted 11 years agoYep, it's in the works. Well, by in the works, I mean I'm currently saving up for it. Should have the down-payment ready by the end of this month or the start of the next. Incredibly excited for this, as it's something I've wanted for a long time now. I'm glad I just decided to wait, too, because I found a perfect situation.

Not only am I getting a Japanese-style fursuit from a maker I absolutely adore (and who has made no fewer than 10 suits I love to bits), but I'm getting a head that allows for glasses, a moving jaw, an eyepatch that I can see out of, but others can't see inside, AND all of this for under or roughly $3k. That's the STARTING PRICE for most high-quality suits here in the states, and even then I wouldn't have gotten both of those head features with any of the studios I was looking at.
I've been in contact with the main guy, and he's SUPER friendly. Really an absolute pleasure to work with, and we haven't even made anything official yet, other than that I really, really can't wait to throw money at him.
I'm just... I'm so absolutely excited for this to happen. After this, I can start saving up for conventions and stuff! I can basically go back to having more fun in the fandom again. I've really been wanting to go back to cons and stuff, and especially to try going to one that ISN'T Anthrocon (not that I don't love AC!).

kingdomfiend got hirs today. It's been something I've wanted for quite a while now, but I've really been giving it some thought as of late. Problem is, I'm not sure who I'd wanna get. I'm kinda leaning towards 
donthugcacti since I'm looking for a cute, toony kind of suit and since they're well known. NEVERMIND THEY WERE KIND OF DICKHOLES AND RUDE WHEN I ASKED FOR A QUOTE
omgpineapples is also out because they don't do moving jaws anymore.
onefurall is looking pretty good. They've made a lot of great suits that I know and like, and their prices are lower.
What do you all think, people who actually read my journals? Any suggestions?
