I haven't even had this thing for 2 years and it's dying on me. I tried turning it on tonight, only for it to get perpetually stuck in a loop of trying to incite auto repair, self diagnose, check for a network, then fail to find anything. It then tells me it'll try again in half an hour and gives a countdown.

So yeah. No new pictures until this gets squared away.

I've had a tumultuous time as of late, but thing might be settling down.

I'm opening up commissions again. Fair warning, I've been practicing hips, thighs and asses while I was away, so I expect ya'll to ask for such.

If you know me, you'll also know that I tend to vanish from time to time.

Life gets in the way, burn out, other hobbies, all that jazz.

I keep drawing in the background, so I'm never really gone. However, I have no social media competency and tend to just go AWOL.

I'm thinking about posting some of my smaller sketches, just so there's a more constant update feed.

I have a question for all of you out there. I have a script I'm writing for a youtube video on Star Fox. In it I make a joke about Krystal being "one of the four horsemen of the furry apocalypse," with a nonsensical image I plan to tie to it. My question is:

Who are the other three?

My current choices include:
Gardevoir (I'd personally pick lopunny, but gardevoir is actually more popular, since she came first)
Renamon
Lola Bunny (Original Space Jam version)
Sally Acorn (Again, her over Rouge the Bat since she came out first, but Rouge is closer to the time frame the Krystal was in)
Nala (Or possibly Gadget Hackwrench, Peg from Goof Troop, any Disney inclusion)

That said, times have changed and I'm an old man. We got these new options that are viable, but I don't think they fit the point of the joke. Characters like Judy Hopps, Toriel, technically Midna, and various ponies.

I think the point is that I'm looking for those Patient 0, OG offenders, hence why I'm thinking of taking Sally over Rouge, but I'm not 100% on that. Ones that forever changed impressionable youths, such as ourselves.

It's just a quick visual gag, but I thought I'd ask.

I've had time to settle over my issues and current spot in life. Still a lot left to be resolved, but it can wait. I want to start moving forward again. There might be a bit of a shift in the Pokegirls art style as I dust off the cobwebs. Despite not updating, I have been keeping myself somewhat busy with sketching during my down time.

I'd like to finish all of chapter one before the end of the year. I'm halfway there, so if I can get back into the groove of things, it shouldn't be to hard. The storyboarding for 1-2 to 2-3 is all done, along with a rudimentary script. Plus, the -3 part of each chapter is usually shorter than the main first two parts.

Hopefully, I can get some traction with all of this, I'd love to make this into a lengthy series that people can enjoy.

I picked SO4 back up and am enjoying it. Honestly, I think it's the best in the franchise, though I haven't played 2, the one everyone praises. Frankly, I think 4 stands out as it gives me exactly what I wanted from the series. I get a crew of colorful alien characters, a space ship and multiple planets to explore. Granted, I think that the latest entry, 6, has the better gameplay, I still feel that 4 is better by execution.

I got up to this one part where we get attacked by weird zombie aliens and the game has me get saved by this pretty boy and an edge lord in a cutscene. Meanwhile my party watches in awe at their display. All the while, I'm thinking, "Bruh, my big ass robot can throw blackholes, every mage on my team can stun lock enemies, and the person with the highest attack stat is a feral 12 year old cat girl in a bikini. But no, game, keep telling me how cool these two bozos are. And then the plot steals my Vulcan and partners me up with the edge lord. Neat.

Been swamped with a bunch of external factors and it's left me burnt out. Gonna go on hiatus until I can recharge. Not currently drawing any projects, but I'll poke my head every now and again.

I've gotten the urge to go through my gallery and tidy up older content. Despite all the internal screaming and void inducing cringing this is likely to cause me, I won't delete anything. I just wanna go over the descriptions, titles and tags, things like that.

Though there really are some entries I should banish to the shadow realm...

Had to slow down a bit and just take some time to settle and relax. While doing so, I came to realize that the upcoming chapter wasn't sitting well with me. Honestly, it was fine as is, for the most part, aside from introducing this element that I wasn't 100% about. I decided to drop it and just redo the chapter.

It's just the middle that's being effected and I'm looking to get it back on track to the ending, as it was originally intended. So, things'll slow down for a bit until I have it all figured out, since I'm pretty much right before the point where changes are going to start happening. It sucks though, because I had to drop a few jokes along the way.

EDIT: All done. Continuing on now. Looking back at it, I'm glad I went over it and changed stuff up. I was able to add in some more colorful scenes. The prior draft had like 5 or 6 out of 24 and even then, they were spread around. Now, I've got about 10, with 3 solid pages of back to back "action scenes."

May is finally over, and with it, another segment to add to "one of the worst moments of my life."

It's fitting really. I've sat here listening to Open Sky on repeat for the last 2 hours or so. In a new room. A feeling of some stability returned to me. All the hardship I just went through, slowly drifting. Not gone, but distant.

There's still a lot to do.

I'll need new speakers, a new dresser, a new mouse. Money to spend, but not impossible to get. I don't know what it is about this song, but I feel like I have something to smile about once again.

I bought and set up my new desk. My old one needs to be let go. I can't keep everything. The same goes for the old dresser my sister decorated and I kept. The more I've tried to hang on to the things that have given me an identity these past years, the hard they were being torn from me.

I'm moving on. I found a way out of this nightmare and I'm going forward. It's not the best place to be, admittedly, but it's stable. For now.

My computer's set up. My room is on it's way to completion.

Was walking out my house to go do laundry, because we still don't have the washer/dryer that were promised yet, only to have a room mate tell me that the power's off. I hadn't actually noticed until he said something.

I had actually texted my landlord about the washer/dryer a bit earlier after waking up (never got a reply), and he mentions how she had promised that about 6 weeks ago before he started living there. He also mentions the internet,which he'd paying out of pocket for as well as the promised furniture we were to get.

So we call her and it goes straight to voicemail.

Sooo, yeah. About to head back soon, but I have no idea when/if this'll get resolved. And it'll be night soon, which means I'll be sitting in a dark, cold house, filled with roaches.

FML I guess.

UPDATE

Went back and still had no power. Was talking with my roommate, when a lady drives up and asks about that very thing. We learn that she lives on another property owned by the landlord, which also doesn't have power. All the properties were under the same bill, which hadn't been paid. This was further acknowledged by my roommate, who is training to become an electrician and knows how to read meters. Ours hadn't been paid.

So we try to call the landlord and it continues to go to voice mail. Eventually, they notice that she has silenced her phone, meaning she's ghosting us. After a long talk with that lady, and then my roommate, I decided enough is enough. I'm leaving ASAP. Fuck this house. Fuck this longer commute. And

Fuck. These. Roaches.

Needless to say, shit's on hold for a while until I get everything sorted out.

The roaches are everywhere in this god damn place. I don't sleep anymore, I just pass out after trying to stay awake while keeping them off of my shit. There's new ones every time I go into the bathroom. I spent over $100 on supplies to clean it up, but I think I'm just fooling myself. I bought this pest control spray thing that supposed to make a barrier that keeps them at bay. It ain't fuckin working.

I sprayed all around my room with it, then again later with raid. The irony is that all these chemicals are probably going to kill me first before it ever gets any of them.

I almost finished the last page of chapter 1 for my comic, but got too distracted killing roaches. I haven't even worked on my other professional comic in over a week.

I'm so god damn angry right now. I keep trying to be positive. It's not working.

I moved today. I previously lived with brother, but was forced to leave after he got his girlfriend pregnant and rushed into a marriage. Over night I went from having a home to being a house guest and multiple family members tried to help expedite my departure.

Now I'm sitting in, what I quickly discovered to be a roach infested apartment room. It only has one outlet. On the opposite side from where you'd feasibly want to plug everything in. Not that it matters because I also came to realize that I can't even properly fit my chair in between my computer desk and my bed.

I'm trying to be optimistic, but right now I feel so mad I want to scream. However, I can't.

I'm so tired. I'm going to try and go to sleep.

I've been away, working on an SFW comic for future publishing. I've focused all of my time there, since I want to try and complete a single chapter before year's end. (Probably not going to happen, but I'll at least get the draft version done.)

That being said, I have been sketching away on content that is more applicable here, but they are just that, sketches. So I ask you:

Been focusing on more down to earth, career based stuff. Specifically, trying to draw a three part comic. The characters and story are coming along, but I'm getting caught up in the plot and development details. This is the fastest I've ever put a script together and it feels like it's missing some impactful elements. Things like meaningful character development, set up and pay off, etc.

I've been doing Pokegirl sketches on the side however, to keep in practice. The ongoing comic itself however is probably gonna sit for a while, unless you all out there are craving for more right away.

I normally don't post my sketches, since I feel they look terrible, but I might consider doing a few of the good ones every so often.

Gonna take a bit of a break and then continue the comic. Keeping an eye on that new policy thing in hopes they don't come after me for my Wendy pics. I'm not one to perceive her as underage, but that shit gets pretty subjective when certain characters are considered. Then again, they did specify that they were mostly looking at pokemon and digimon art, so I should be safe.

Doing some artwork for an upcoming convention. Things'll be on pause for a bit.

Now where was I...

I just spent a good chunk of the day trying to accomplish work, only to have my shit blue screen nearly every 5 - 10 minutes. Needless to say, there's gonna be a few delays until I can sort this out.

Convention stuff has settled down, although we are planning a new one in October. That said, I probably won't have to hustle as much as I did to bust out pics like I did with this last one.

Anyway, I'm back on comic duty. If there's anything I've learned so far, it's to ease the hell up on panel detail and just get this shit done. So, sorry to anyone who likes a ll the weird, experimental stuff I' was doing with the comic so far, but I'm probably gonna go a lot looser with things from here on out. Not to sound cheap or anything, but I'm more concerned with quantity over quality as far as the pokegirls series is concerned. I have, like A LOT of story material I want to get through with that.

I've finally finished those SFW pics and we had a pretty great run at the convention.. After talking with my business partner in crime, we felt there'd be no hard in posting most of this stuff anywhere we could. I've already got most of them on instagram, which I barely use to begin with. So, after some soul searching, I've decided there's no harm in posting it here too. I'm gonna leave out the more personal ones, pics that contain my ow characters, and just focus on sharing the more general ones...or at least I would, but I gotta go to work in like 10 minutes, and every single one of these needs to be resized to even fit on this website.
