I have everything needed for it, except... the help of somebody else.
Tried doing it alone but it's just impossible. Having noone to direct sure makes decisions easy, but also having noone as safety assistant, camera op, CG guide, or actor makes such a project impossible to realize.

Believe me, even without speaking of weird fetishes or mental twists, it sucks being bad at social stuff and not knowing enough people.
Especially when you have everything precisely written down, music, script, storyboard and you just can't make it real.

Yep, thanks to everyone who sent reports. As you might have guessed it, the page parser doesn't work anymore with the new layout.

Unfortunately, due to legal stuff my main laptop got seized and I don't have a source backup for FAget, so I'm now sitting there in front of non-functional .exe files without being able to do anything...

If I'm lucky, I'll have my laptop back some day and will be able to fix FAget to work again, but until then, you'll have to wait :(

Tried to do something similar to the voices on the original SNES Starfox game: the text is used as a seed to generate sound made of random assembled syllabes.

I used Fruity Loop's voice synth with minor filtering. I need you to tell me what you think: if it sounds too dumb, too low, too high, too fast ?...

I know, the problem appeared a few weeks ago, but I only found the time now to check what was going on.

It seems that CloudFlare, the new protection service FA is using (which is invisible to users), has a very efficient way of knowing if the site is accessed through a browser or through another kind of program.

Technically, I don't really understand how that's possible except by checking the HTTP user-agent string, but anyways... CloudFlare blocks FAget and I can't find a way to bypass that.

So as I wrote on my website:

"As of the 1st September 2011, FAget no longer works because of FA using a new protection service (CloudFlare), which blocks non-browser accesses to the site. Until a way is found to bypass this problem, FAget won't be updated. Sorry !"

Got FAget to work again, cleaned up the code and added some new features.
Get it before the said "summer update" comes. After, it'll probably need another major update !

FAget is an automated FA gallery retriever I started to write some time ago.
Still in VB6 yes, not willing to switch to .net for now. DLLs and controls are included with the executable.
No installation required. The exe should be clean, but be sure to run it through AV software before launching it.
Better be safe than sorry.

Here's the new stuff:

*Lots of small bugfixes, that "excess data for file" error should come up less often.
*Settings saving is less dumb now, dat files will now be compatible with next versions.
*Get favorites !
*Filter out general/mature/adult submissions
*"Shutdown PC" should work now.

Input, be it bug reports, questions, suggestions or threats are very welcome.

I'm currently learning to write extensions for Firefox, to include some of FAGet's functions in-browser. No more problems with cookies and bad URLs, but certainly no more autosync.
It may not be available as an official add-on, as it doesn't respect mozilla's submission conditions.

Let me know what functions you'd like to see, other than downloading gallery/scraps/favs.

I know FAget freezes because of the recently added shitload of "security" variables in the cookie FA drops.
Don't expect a quick fix, I'll post another journal when the new version will be released.
