My brains not working, so maybe you can help?
Posted 8 months agoHello friends! I’m looking for a bit of motivation, namely for character design, and I thought, what better way than crowdsourcing a little of it! 😅
I’d like to ask that if you’re interested in popping a little prompt, there’s a few things you can throw my way. ^^
1: Song and a species -
I’ll attempt to create a character that matches the personality, voice, and feel of the chosen song.
2: Throw me 2 MLP characters-
This one is specific. But I like mixing characters, traits and crossing species occasionally, so I feel this one could be fun as I’ve enjoyed designing these in the past
3: Warrior scratch designs:
This one is also specific. You don’t need to be well acquainted with Warrior cats though. Just give me a two word name and I’ll work from there, but you can also give me specific traits you’d like the cat to have (ie. One eye, missing limb, scars)

Stone Valley Clans: Intro/Story idea
Posted 3 years agoThe Stone Valley cats are cats descended from the original lake clans. The cats who settled here traveled from the lake after all of the troubles with Starclan had been seemingly resolved. These cats, after all that had passed, could not settle with how things were and their unease made their paws tingle with discomfort in their own territories.
Three warriors made this known during a moonlight gathering. Mooneye of Thunderclan, Dawnstripe of Shadowclan, and Meadowbreeze of Windclan. These three, who had spoken with each other during the moons of Ashfur’s hold over the lake territories and Starclan, had come to the decision to leave, choosing this time during the gathering to make it known.
What none could have expected was that others felt the same. Cats from all clans had stepped forward wanting to join them in leaving the lake, which probably surprised them the most. Even a single medicine cat came to join them, though guilty as he looked for his choice, spoke their opinion on the group needing him.
The whole gathering was turned into chattering and calls of rebuke, please for them to stay, accusations and more. But the original trio stood strong, waiting for the leaders to say their peace.
Brablestar gave his blessing, though was clearly saddened by the loss of these cats. Mistystar only held a glare on them all. Tigerstar and Harestar both looked on concerned and worried, but gave their blessing to those from their own clans. Then there was Leafstar. Of all the leaders, only she stood to address them and the whole of the gathering.
“Skyclan once left its home to find the place it belonged. For us it was here among the other clans, as Starclan wished it. Our circumstances were not the best for us and the hard decision was made for that to happen.” She held her head high as she spoke, those from her own clan who had taken that journey, quieting to murmur their agreement. She then looked to the rest. “I know many of you remember your own journey from your old territories that lead you here to the lake…… Starclan guided your paws and ours, leading us here. Who is to say that they aren’t leading these cats to follow a destiny that is meant for them?”

Posted 5 years agoSo i'm sure you've noticed i haven't put up anything new lately, and there's a reason for that. A pretty lame one honestly.... That being that i haven't been able to keep track of days.
But! I've made the decision from that to take a media hiatus and am currently working on Junicorn and stockpiling artwork so i can start posting regularly again probably starting on my birthday this month, not that i think i'll really be online much until then. There's more stress and anxiety online this year than i ever experienced.
ANYWAYS! Until the 20th at least, stay safe, stay strong, hang in there. 2020 is half way over and we will make it to the other side! See ya soon!

I LOVE art, but i do NOT live to please others with it. I do it because it's fun, i enjoy it, it's a marvelous outlet for my overactive mind. It's something that i have worked VERY hard to get this far with for years! Just like most everyone on here. Each new piece means the world to me, no matter how many mistakes it may have, it was STILL my hard work.
Usually i don't mind helpful criticism, but when you go and call someone's hard work SHIT! Nu-uh honey, things don't work that way, not with me. I won't be mean unless i've just had a downright miserable day, but i'm more than happy to get sassy with you about it. I would NEVER insult someone's art regardless of what it looks like or skill level. That is not something ANYONE needs to deal with. It's just...no...
I wouldn't do it to you, or anyone else. Besides, all we can ever do is get better, am i right? Just work for it, reach for it. Nothing is ever perfect, so don't stress over it.

Posted 9 years agoI'm going up to volunteer at my old boarding school for the summer! Since they have the guest ranch up and running right now they needed some extra help!
I'll be doing literally doing EVERYTHING but i get to be around horses again!!!! I am SO flipping excited! I may try to finish my current WIPs but if not i may ed up posting those when i come back as well as a boat load of pictures...probably....

21 this month.....(B-day rant/vent?)
Posted 9 years agoYeah. So...i'm 21 on the 20th. Woohoo, yipee, or whatever.
What's the big deal really. It's just another worthless day with no meaning other than that i can now totally fuck up my life! Well, legally anyway. I don't know how to really feel about it considering the relapse i've been taking a nose dive into. But hey! I've still got my art! That's a positive! Right?
I dunno. I find no meaning in birthdays anymore. I mean last year i spent the day with someone special but our plans this year seem like their gonna fall through. Considering the broken contact. It's just gonna be one big depressing and miserable month. I'm already feeling deflated and it's only 4am on the 1st.
I don't WANT to do this again. I don't want it to come....

MLP AU Details....
Posted 9 years agoMy AU is set somewhere within the realm of seasons 3 and 4. Whether or not i incorporate any of the latter is something i'm still not sure of. I have very few characters i'm working with due to another project that i plan to start, hopefully very soon. Until then, here ya go!

DubStar:
While often keeping to herself, this Butterfly Changling has still got a lot to learn about herself. Having only recently learned of her origins as a changling, her adopted mother urges her to keep it a secret, for her own safety. Her attempts to learn how to use the form however have almost gotten her caught on multiple occasions. Beside from that however, she is more of a pony at heart, with a major crush on one of her guards. Silly, sweet, playful, and very loving, this mare is always ready for adventure and risks!
SkyDancer:
A friend of Star's, Sky is on the shy side and only ever very talkative around the purple mare. Sky is a strong flyer and while she swoons over the wonderbolts sometimes, she swears she'll never be bold enough to attempt to join up. Where Sky is often encouraged to try the wonderbolts by her friend, she will often flip the tables on her by holding the fact of her crush over her head. When she is't with her friend however, she is an apprentice at a high end bakery there in canterlot.
Princess Luna:
In my AU Luna is DubStar's adopted mother, having found her alone and abandoned at the edge of the Everfree on one of her Ponyville trips. She has raised her, with some help from her elder sister. Luna herself has always been a bit leaniant with Star until she finally told her of her changling roots and has been doing her best to help her since. The alicorn herself, in this AU has an ability unique to her, she can change the appearance of her age depending on the phase of the moon, though usually she keeps her current age or her more teen self.
Diamond Defense:
Daimond, while still in training, has quite a responsibility under his saddle already, watching the supposed daughter of Princess Luna. His first assignment was to escort her to and from Ponyville during the Changling attacks on Caterlot a while back. His personality, while it was discouraged by the other guards, was a big help during the time and got him enough points with the royals to have been permanently assigned to her, which he cockily holds over the heads of his superiors. Still, he tends to be very serious about his job and placement, being both attentive and loyal.

Posted 9 years agoSo, i'v done a little bit of writing way back when, and i have recently fallen for a show called Miraculous Ladybug....
For a few weeks i've had images in my head of a next Generation type of scenario including:
~OC next Gen (Ladybug)
~Mari & Adrien's Son (Timber wolf ((made up miraculous)) )
&
~Surprise character (Cat Noir)
If i get enough support and positives on this, at the very least i'll write up mini stories of how they get their Kawami. I'm also needing ideas for background characters.

~Danny Bourgeois (Chloe X ???)
~Milo (Nathaiel X ???)
~Salene (Julika X Rose ((adopted)) )
Also want a kid from Alya and Nino but i can't think of a good name/gender.

Posted 9 years agoI'm really out on what to do with my art, what i've been drawing is hurting me emotionally and i was hoping maybe that some suggestions from you all would help.
So, what do you wanna see? Ych's, more ponies, species, adopts, you name it. I may not do it all but i'm more than happy to move forward. I do want to start getting to more music themed pieces and maybe some fan art but that's all i can think of to do. Any suggestions are extremely appreciated!

Laptop dead, slow on uploads
Posted 9 years agoI dunno WTF happened to it... at first it was just being a pain to turn on, but it finally gave in. What really sucks though is i lost a TON of files including adopts i never uploaded here, digital wips, a few renders of traditional stuff meant to be FTU bases and a massive amount of downloaded music and materials....
Kills me that i can't upload anything either. Unless i get my hands on a converter or cord that fits my camera it's all just gonna sit there on my SD card.... It'll take me forever to save up for a new laptop but until then at least i can make more tails and maybe try to sell them if i ever find a way to upload my stuff.
Art is still coming out so expect to be bombarded with a ton at some point in the next few months.

Miraculous Ladybug
Posted 9 years agoWell i found my new fix. Not only is the ship cannon but the series absolutely drives me insane because of hw clueless the main characters are! Not to mention it's SO damned cute! The season one finale was a perfect end, so many funny and sweet moments throughout the season.
Totally gonna binge watch it over and over. Still scouring google for fan art and comics and most of it is to DIE for. It's been WAY to long since i've had something that appeals THIS much to my hopelessly romantic self. It's just absolute perfection! I need season two like RIGHT NOW!
