Posted 9 years agoSo, i'm starting to think getting business might be a tad easier if i make a TOS that makes me out as more professional, i just don't know how to.
I'm very flexible with things and since right now i'm only doing art and tails, i'm not to sure how to go about it. Any tips, hints, or advice for making, writing one up?

Prologue/need opinions PLZ
Posted 10 years agoDISCLAIMER: My characters are and always will be DUTCH angel dragons, i have changed them to regular angel dragons STRICTLY for the purpose of the plot line and how the story is going to play out IF i continue it past this. ALL characters and writing is MINE.
PROLOGUE (My fight, Our War)
The night was quite and peaceful. I had recently been sent home from our base camp hidden up in the mountains, my leave felt well deserved, as i finally got to see my mate again, though i was currently awaiting her return from a short flight she said she was taking to stretch out her wings. Since i hadn't been around for a while, she'd been home alone, cooped up inside as she watched our nest day in and day out. I was a proud angel dragon indeed. A lovely mate, a highly valued soldier in our war with the hell beasts, and hopefully a good father once our eggs hatched. It was all going so well, but it ended all to quickly for me when i heard it. That scream will forever haunt my soul..... Without a second though i was out of the nursery chamber of my home, out of the entrance and racing towards the edge of the village where a few others had gathered.
"Where is she?! Where is..." My voice caught in my throat at the sight before me. It couldn't be, not her, anyone but her! My body moved on it's own, none of the other warriors that were there tried to stop me from approaching her. As i did though, i saw her eyes open slightly to land on me. I sat beside her, my body shaking as i stared at the huge gash in her side, tears burning at the back of my eyes. Only one creature could do something like that to us.... My voice shook as i finally managed to speak. "S-sweetheart...i..i'm so so-" I jolted at the feeling of her weak cold paw moving to rest over mine, looking to her face there was a smile there, through her pain, fear and the tears in her own eyes.
"Don't....apologize... y-you don't n-need to...." Her voice was so weak and she was so far gone already that i couldn't take it.
"No! I should have come with you! If i had you'd still be....be okay..." I leaned down, pressing my head against her neck, the tears finally slipping from my eyes. "Please...don't leave me...i need you, our young will need you! You can't go! Not yet!" I was all but yelling in my distress... All i could remember after that was her whispering "I love you" and slowly slipping away from me forever......
I was told the day after that i'd gone on a rampage, attacking any who tried to approach her lifeless body. One of my comrades, Mellon, had told me that word was sent back to the base camp of the incident and informed me that i was on house arrest until further notice by orders of our commander. Apparently she believed i'd try to return to the fight if only to avenge my mate...and she was right. A few days later i had packing up my things and was leaving, my nest left under the care of Sweetheart's sister. I was glad my mate's sister had been on board with me, having helped me escape and promising to care for my young if i did not return. I planned to come back alright, with the head of the monster who'd started this war. I would avenge my mate if it was the last thing i ever did!

Posted 10 years agoI think this is one of the better ones and i suggest that you read it whether or not you have watched Soul Eater. My only nit pick about this is that despite the DWMA being a normal school in the story there are still apparently supernatural being in this version of the Soul Eater world.
Besides that, it was romance, a bit of fighting, Sexual innuendos (not an NSFW fic), and plenty of drama to follow the group of teens.

Okay, well. I think i'm going to take a new turn in my artist growth. I have discovered Prismacolor Premier markers and let me tell you, i'm in love. They don't bleed through my paper at all! They look way better than my crayola pencils and any markers i've tried thus far. Heck! if i can book it on commissions i may even try out the Prismacolor colored pencils to see how those do for me!
My only problem at the moment it that looking through sites that sell them, it's mostly the double ended and i've been using the brush tips. So i'm probably going to try to find some of those at my local stores and see how i do with those.
I think i've done well with these though. What do ya think?

Posted 10 years agoAlright everyone. I will be doing a HUGE Dutch AD art project. I will be filling a sketchbook with your Dutchies. This will be a long running thing and i'm going to try to go in order.

Ditto/Sweetheart Concept Art

This journal is where i will post concept art & the parts of the short story that they are based off of. I will end up commissioning these from someone once i can afford it and find someone who i can afford to get full scenes from.
Ditto Concepts:
1st Concept:
In the fog of the morning, a single dragon walked through the street, his body silhouetted by the dim and retreating light of the moon. Fur and feathers tinted a pale grey as the figure unfurled it's wings, lifting and then bringing them back down, pushing the mist like fog away from it.
2nd Concept:
"No...it has a deeper meaning to it.... I know you were old enough to remember it, about ten years old, right? When we were purged from Paradise...."
3rd Concept:
His words caught in his throat as he spoke, though he pushed to continue speaking despite the memories flooding his mind, subconsciously moving his paw up to his muzzle.
Sweetheart Concepts:
1st Concept:
"Paradise. That's why. You remember it, don't you?"
Sweetheart glanced to the side, her ears dropping slightly at the mention of their old home.
"Yes, i remember. Young as i was, it's hard to forget it, even now..."
Both:
Concept:
"I'm sorry i asked..." Was all she said as tears began to form in the eyes of both dragons.
Only they and their kind knew the pain of what they'd lost. A memory that would forever be in their minds of a life lost forever and the gap that they could never cross.....

Posted 10 years ago It was a chilly fall morning, and most creatures were tucked away in their homes awaiting the sun as it was still quite early. In the fog of the morning, a single dragon walked through the street, his body silhouetted by the dim and retreating light of the moon. Fur and feathers tinted a pale grey as the figure unfurled it's wings, lifting and then bringing them back down, pushing the mist like fog away from it. From somewhere behind the figure, a feminine voice broke the eerie silence.
"You are just a bit repetitive in this routine aren't you. Just as well, considering your name."
"And yours is only fitting for your coat color, Sweetheart. Now what is it you want this time?" The figure looked back at his new found company.
Sweetheart huffed at him indignantly. "You are a bit of a pest, aren't you Ditto. I was only stating a fact, not trying to be rude, and there isn't much i could want from you." She shrugged, walking up beside him. In stature there was a very slight height difference between them, but not enough to tell. "But, i am a bit curious....why do you do this every morning?"
Ditto glanced at her for moment and sighed, trying to think about over his words before speaking. "Paradise. That's why. You remember it, don't you?"
Sweetheart glanced to the side, her ears dropping slightly at the mention of their old home. "Yes, i remember. Young as i was, it's hard to forget it, even now..."
Ditto nodded in understanding, motioning for her to walk with him. "Remember, you asked me." He told her as she followed. Clearing his throat, he continued. "Well, thing is, the way this fog gathers up reminds me of the patches of cloud back in Paradise. When i was young i always used to love hiding and playing in them. Back then i was still learning to be social.."
"You were anti-social?" Sweetheart interrupted. "I somehow find that hard to believe."
Ditto shrugged and smiled at her. "It's unusual for a Dutch Angel Dragon to keep to themselves, but i did to a point. I can't ever remember seeing another play around in the clouds like i did. It was nice though. The way i could separate and push them together..."
Sweetheart waited for him to finish speaking before speaking up herself. "If that the only reason you do it though...?" She asked carefully, sensing something else he wanted to say about it.
He shook his head and took a deep breath before responding to her this time. "No...it has a deeper meaning to it.... I know you were old enough to remember it, about ten years old, right? When we were purged from Paradise...." His words caught in his throat as he spoke, though he pushed to continue speaking despite the memories flooding his mind, subconsciously moving his paw up to his muzzle. "Though doing it brings me some good memories, it's a constant reminder that we are no longer connected to paradise...."
Sweetheart moved in front of him and hugged him tight all in one movement. "I'm sorry i asked..." Was all she said as tears began to form in the eyes of both dragons.
Only they and their kind knew the pain of what they'd lost. A memory that would forever be in their minds of a life lost forever and the gap that they could never cross.....
What do you think? Also, i plan on doing some art to mirror some parts of this.
