Busy Tiger (Aftermath)
General | Posted 13 years agoWell...4 times to suit up turned into 5 when Saturday came. It was our Open Campus Day where future tigers and the parents had a chance to come on our campus, meet the teachers and staff, ask questions, and tour the school.
As far as the games went, volleyball team lost 3 sets to 1 on Thursday, both our women's and men's basketball teams won their games on Friday in definitive fation becoming 1 and 0 to start the season, Open Campus Day began without a hitch as faculty, staff, furture students and parents took pictures with me and learned more about our school and one lucky group had me as there tour guide (with some help), lastly was the football game....*sighs* although there were some fun moments it was mostly a low time. I did have fun with the high bands that came as well as the opposing cheerleaders and mascot, but the game itself was horrible on our end and worst of all I got my tail pulled. Some random guy made a bet that my tail was detachable, handed my tail to some kids and told them to pull as hard as they can. I though a tug or two, but he said keep pulling...and they did. So Tiger is on the sideline with a torn tail, not completely torn off, but a noticeable tear none the less. I wish this on no mascot or fursuiter ever, it feels bad. I asure you that as soon as Tiger gets better, I will update you on his condition and when he's back in action....and he will!!!

Fantastic Mascot Experience
General | Posted 13 years agoThis past weekend, I went with the cheerleaders to Mertle Beach, South Carolina for the annual NCA cheerleading camp. As you know, I'm a collegate mascot (Savannah State University Tiger).
We had our own class that was lead by Raider Red from Texas Tech. This was so big, mascots that I grew up watching and admiring were there including Hairy from UGA, Buzz from Georgia Tech, and Gus from Georgia Southern. Other big name mascots that were include Mr. and Mrs. Wolf from NC State, Testudo from University of Maryland, Duke Dog from James Madison, The Cardinal Bird from The University of Louiville, and Cocky from University of South Carolina.
Other Mascots represented were Luke from Young Harris College, Panther P and Dimond from Prarieview, Paws from Western Carolina University, Lacumba from Southern University, the NYU Bobcat, Chauncey from Coastal Carolina, and the HCCU Spartan.

Columbus, GA Furs
General | Posted 13 years agoAs a fur that lives in Columbus, GA, I don't get to see many furs. As a matter of fact, I've only met one other fur here.
If there any other furs that live in the Columbus/Phenox City/Fort Benning area, please comment.

Things just keep getting better and batter!
General | Posted 13 years agoOk ok ok, some of ya'll saw my musical chairs victory to win the gold for my team at FWA. As though that wasn't enough, during the sring fling event week at the college I attend, I won the school dance a thon. The biggest honor came when I as the mascot was asked to be the escort for the mayor of the city who is a school alumni. These string of events made me veryy happy and I feel honored and blessed to have these achievments bestowed to me.
FWA 2012
General | Posted 14 years agoFWA 2012 was so awsome and I had a blast!! Not only did I reach one of my goals, I reached three of them. I made so many friends and took many pictures. A lot of contacts were traded and just as many memories if not more were made.
To my roomates, thank you so much for making my stay very pleasurable. You all were very nice and I would love to have you all as my roomates again.
To everyone else at the con, you all made me feel very special and really touched my heart. I hope that I at least came close to doing the same for you. As FWA 2012 is over, it is now on to FWA 2013. Can't wait to see all of you.
Please comment and or share your FWA experiences.

Finally becoming a collegate mascot!!
General | Posted 14 years ago 1-21-12.....a date that will be in my head and my life forever....a date that has changed my life and the course of my career. On that day, January 21, 2012, my college had two basketball games. First the girls played, then the guys. I was running a bit late to the girls game because I was resting from helping the softball team and a slight headache. So I get dressed and walk towards Tiger Arena where the cheerleading coach walked up to me and asked me to be the mascot for the school!! Me being the furry I am and the student I am, I had no choice but to say yes.
So for those of you who I did get to talk to, I told you that I was a collegate tiger, and for those of you who I haven't talked to, I'm a third year college student where our mascot is a tiger and my on campus name is Tiger. Now as mascot, I get to be Tiger in fur...a true tiger!!
Back to the first day as mascot, I was honored that I was asked for personally by the president of the school to help her cut the first piece of the inagual cake. Then, not only did the girls pull out a victory in their game, the boys blew out their opponents in grand fashion. Also, so many kids and adults hugged me and took pictures of and with me.
In conclusion, this was the best first hand experience at being a collegate mascot and I will charish this moment for the res of my life. I am deeply honored at being choosen to play the roll of being the mascot and I look forward to being mascot for the next couple of years. I consider it a privilage to be in this position and I don't take it lightly, but I will have the most fun never the less and make sure I share my experiences with all of you!

FWA Apology
General | Posted 14 years agoThis goes out to all of the furs that attended FWA 2011. For those of you that don't know, FWA 2011 was my very first furry con as well as my first time in suit. I met so many nice furries there and I had a blast! Though some would say that I had too much fun. I've read and heard that I came off kind of creepy. I totally agree, and saying that it was my first time is not an excuse. I would like to take this time to appologise to any and all who I've offended, creeped out, and made uncomfortable at the con. It was all unententional and should have never come out the way it did. If anything good came of this besides being able to perform on stage, it was that I was put in my place and that I've learned from my mistakes. My only request is to please find it in your heart to forgive me and to share this appology to any and all this incident reguards to.
