Hello, Trent here, just wanted to apologise for the delay in our broadcast yesterday. We realised when we got there that we would need the daylight for all of the outside and even many of the indoor shots for our B-Roll. This set us back about 2 hours, unfortunately, and left a lot of people wondering what was going on.

I apologise for the delays, and hope to eliminate them in the future. Thank you for your patience and willingness to stick with us through such issues.

On Sunday, December 19th, the FURS crew will be streaming their interview with Sombra live for everyone to enjoy! Sombra is an artist who uses, well, just about every style out there. She's done some great stuff with realism, anime, and western cartooning. She's uses both traditional and digital mediums, and is currently dabbling in fursuit construction. She is a self-proclaimed pokemon master.

Hello, we just wanted to say thank you to everyone who came out for the ustream, even if you just popped in for a moment. We think it went really well and can't wait to do it again!

FURS FAQ & FC (Frequent Complaints)

Are you furries?
We are, in fact, non-furs! We call ourselves furry enthusiasts, but not really furries. This means we have no fursonas, don't draw, don't suit, etc. We do attend gatherings, cons, etc. By some definitions I guess you could consider us furries for that reason, but we do not self-identify as such.

Why are you making this movie?
We are making this movie because the fandom is, in our opinion, one-of-a-kind and completely unique. There is a magic in this fandom that can't be found anywhere else, and to capture even just a sliver of that magic is our goal. We want to find what “furry” is and record it on film for everyone to enjoy, and hopefully, set some records straight in the process.

Most furries don't fursuit! You're not being accurate!
We are VERY AWARE that the majority of the fandom do not own or wear fursuits. We understand that the fandom's heart and soul resides within the art and creative process of being a furry, and this will be what the film primarily focuses on.

Will you interview me!?
When we are looking for new interviewees, we will post it on our various accounts (twitter, facebook, furaffinity, etc.)

How can I help?!
Spread the word! Let people know about the film and tell them where to find us! Send us messages if you've got a specific skill or talent you'd like to contribute! If we're coming to your city, let us know you'd like to meet up!

Please be a bit more open-minded! We do understand that you guys have been betrayed before, but assure you that we are serious about portraying the fandom accurately. Where are you located?
We work out of Chicago, IL, but we will travel just about anywhere!

Is this going to be an international film? How far are you guys going to travel?
We are going to be traveling all over the country to make this film, and when possible, we will be going international.

What conventions will you be attending?
We hope to attend Anthrocon, Midwest Furfest, Eurofurence, Further Confusion, Furry Weekend Atlanta, and Rainfurrest (these are in no particular order). This list is always changing, however, and may not be accurate by the time you are reading this. The best way to keep track of our travels is by following us on Twitter. If you have a convention suggestion, please send it our way!

Will you be attending meet-ups as well?
We do hope to attend some meet-ups, however, due to the social nature of these events we cannot confirm which ones we will be attending. If you want to suggest a meet-up to us, please do! They are a bit more difficult to find, so please send them our way!

The best way to reach us would be through any of our accounts, really. If you want to reach us privately, then feel free to send a note on Fur Affinity or E-mail. If it's something short and not private then Twitter works great, as does commenting on our Facebook page.

When is the documentary coming out?
This documentary is scheduled for a 2013 release date, however that is likely to change based on how quickly or slowly we progress.
