I know I don't tell you guys much, but I might as well tell you know before I go into commissions.
For the past 7 years I've been working an easy cleaning job at night, but recently I got a bigger
cleaning job at some super market. I still have the smaller job, but despite that, the store is typically
assigning me just enough hours to not be full time. While I try and sort that out, that means I'll have
less time and stamina to draw stuff. Despite that I've been really wanting to open up commissions
and stream again; but I'll have less time and energy.

So here's what I'm going to try. Next journal, some time today around 12 pacific time, I'll open a
round of commissions. Only 4 slots will open. Rules will be the same. I'll try to stream myself
working on them. If things go well, I'll be able to do more of these.

Right. Some of you may remember when I talked about me being psychotic. Well I've been
surviving it so far, but at this point, I kinda need to take more action to treat it.

So I've been seeing therapists and a psychiratrist and they perscribed risperdal to me. I took
a little look at it, and I'm not terribly worried about the side effects.

So what do you guys think of it? It doesn't seem too bad to try.

I must admit that I've been getting lazy and skittish with it comes to public relations. Specifically, I usually don't say whats going on when I don't stream for that week. Well, for last week I actually have noteable excuse. FOR YOU SEE OPAL HAS CAUGHT A FLU AND IS IN NO SHAPE TO MAKE THE TRIP
and I was at a funeral last week. And I am to attend another this Saturday.

In other news, it's good that I'm doing commissions faster than last time, but distractions are still sucking the life out of me. On that note, a lot of projects are being put off as I'm finding myself glued to youtube much more often. Oh you crazy youtubes; always finding a way to make me watch that crazy flash video... on youtube. There are a few changes this time. First, I've done away with the fancy ASCII stuff. For some reason chrome messes it up and it's probably better for reading anyway. I'll most likely be taking them off the recipts, too. Color is still there, though.

Also, I would like to mention that customers are able to request any special or different commissions. So I was at best buy today, and I was eying the wacom tablets and looked more into the features of the intuos (5, i think) thing and suddenly really wanted it, but didn't get it then and there because I wanted to know what other people thought of it.

I don't remember exactly what was there, but I like a slightly less expensive one that had multitouch, intuos big and intuos BIGGER (thinking of the the middle one the most) What are your experiences with the intuos thingy? I usually draw on this dinky little bamboo fun, (4inchx6inch) will moving up to a bigger tablet throw me off? Will Billy reach the school in time to save Jane from the lazily designed plant monster?

Just wanted to talk about convention essentials for a bit. More specifically, I want to suggest some things and see if you think it's smart or not. I don't know what I'm going to do, but at least I'll be prepared

The obvious things like water, clothes, ID and money aren't much to think about. The finer details would be things like:

Protein bars
The main thing I wanted to talk aboot. I like eating. I LOVE eating... but sometimes I don't wanna go spend precious hours running to McDowels for a burger. I only get furcon once a year and I wanna keep nourished with minimal time spent on boring things like walking to non-con things and putting my mouth on delicious thigns. I thought It was a good idea to look at energy bars. Does anyone know a good food bar? And is it a good idea to sort of rely on them for nourishment? Also, a common theme among these protein bars is peanut butter, chocolate and blue berries. Perhaps I should just pack jugs of that stuff instead?
Funny thing, I picked up a pack of this Luna protein while hunting for supplies, but didn't notice it was for women... I don't suppose the nutritional needs of women aren't that much different from men

Ok, I just want to sound impressive. Usually the fancy hotel we room in has these fancy tvs. These fancy tvs nowadays have HDMI ports. I can probably hook up my laptop to their tvs with a HDMI cable and be a major dork by playing SNES emulators, pony MP4s and stupid Touhou flash movies :D

I've got about 10 days to get a room for Furcon and about $400 for con expenses. I'm looking for someone with space in their hotel room and I'm more than willing to share with fursuiters. As for what I'll do at Furcon, I don't really know. Each year I've gone, I've gotten more lax and undefined about it. I might just stick around the creator's lounge as usual and make top hats for remote controlled balloon sharks. Hopefully they've got a bigger room for the creator's lounge.
