So many fox’s so little time

So many fox’s so little time! each one deserving of it own rhythm and rhyme
I want so much to love them as such. we wonder and dance and dream,
I ponder and watch and pray,
When asked to stay I shy away because I never wanted it to be this way.
We play in the snow and sleep in the sun but when the seasons change I am forced to shun.
It is the little fox’s that get into the wine, sure they look so very fine but in the end we run out of time.
The burden of life, judgment and unbelief, make me cry aloud and weep.
When joy springs up I feel relief, The hope the promise in the presence of the meek.
I swoon for the day I can hold my fox to the rhythm and the beat.
