Posted 17 years agoMy little snit with depression is over, at least for awhile - I have a 4 day weekend from work now, so that'll give me time to get some rest and relax a bit.
Gaming wise, been focusing on TF2 because its mindless and gets my mind... less off things.
Will probably go back to work on Age of Conan tomorrow though, need to catch up to my friend. :)

Depression.
Posted 17 years agoI'm having it again - I get it at random times even though I 'm not really depressed about things.
I guess too many things happening at once - I'm working, A LOT... a picture I wanted commissioned of a character fell through because the artist was too busy. Been trying to get one done of her for over a year now, exactly one year. And well.. yeah. It just doesn't seem like its ever gonna happen. So.. there.
I love Age of Conan, just don't feel like playing or when I do feel like it.. I'm too damned busy.
And console games just dont make me as happy as they used too... I dunno...

Coupla actors in there, didn't realize who they were voicing until the Credits at the end. Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Dustin Hoffman.... coupla people I didn't realize where in the film..
They did a realllllly good job....

Ninja Gaiden 2, Grid and others.
Posted 17 years agoWell, the last 'really' big release of games have happened, and.. me like a moth drawn to the flames.. ended up buying 'most' of them..... :P - Thank god for discounts.
Anyways.
Ninja Gaiden 2 - Like the first game, shitty camera, and incredible difficulty.... I don't see myself finishing this one for the same reason I didn't finish the first one... I just get frustrated too easily. Hell, it took me frikin' two hours to complete the second chapter.. TWO HOURS, because I'd die, multiple times in one area and have to set the game down for awhile to calm down... yeah... but.. hey, I'll try my best to beat it.. at least ONCE.
Grid - This game is a gem, surprisingly good, well done in my own opinion. Another reason its a Gem for me is that its a racing game I actually enjoy playing. This is nice considering I absolutely HATE racing games, period. There's only been two other racing games I have spent any significant time playing and enjoyed fully:
Ridge Racer 4 (PS2)
Kinetica (PS2)
Kinetica is the only one I spent a lot of time to master the tracks on the hardest difficulty, and ended up unlocking EVERYTHING in the game.
Grid is a game I can see myself playing alot.
Bourne Conspiracy - I haven't really played it yet, still wrapped... and probably won't get to it for awhile due to Ninja Gaiden 2, Grid, and my addiction to Age of Conan. But I will say.. I loved the demo....

Posted 17 years agoI got to play it last night (Yeah, a day before.. dont ask me how. :D)
Its rather good, defiantally faster then the last one... though honestly, the Adventure Mode, though a nice idea, isnt necessarily a good one. I spent about 4 hours last night working on it to unlock some of the fighters and only was able to get one character, Marth, out of all the time I spent on it.
Also.. I dont like the fact I have to play characters I dont really like to get to the ones I do. :P - Dying repeatedly with a character like Lucas or Ness, because I hate playing them, is no fun. :P
Anyways. I'll be getting a real copy later.. lets see if I cant get Sonic unlocked. :3

Posted 18 years agoPopped it in today, and well.. lets just say. My breath was taken away... and that video game reviewers dont know shit.
I can see that they reviewed a game prior to release.. and I can see where the load times were a issue for that. But as for the moment, the load times dont do jack... and I came into this a bit skeptical because of them complaining about the load times.
So as of now, this game is a must buy for anyone who loves RPGs. :D

Trade Ins and stuff.

Now... I like the idea of trade ins.. get bored with a game, dont feel like playing it again, get some money back in the process.. now, the only issue I see is. It makes my gaming collection look lacking... now I plan on trading in my Mass Effect and Darkness, as well as Disgaea 2 (All I'v throughly played..) Now. I dont play my ps2 all the much anymore, and the PS3, if I ever get one, the new ones dont play em.. so that kinda leaves my ps2 hanging unless I get Persona 3 (Which is a game thats so good that I'll keep no matter what) - But my 360 games... now I have Gears of War (Which I dont play much,but its a special edition, and hell if I trade it in), Assassians Creed (Which I havnt beaten... yet.), Oblivion (Sure.. I'll trade THAT in... something with more replay value then the universe.. :P), DOA Xbeach volleyball 2 (I like the eye candy... and its different.. also good way to rack up gamerpoints.)
So... I'm getting Lost Oddassy with these trade ins.
Good. Bad. Maybe? :P
