Furzen Update: New Admin

Tcyk89 here after a really long hiatus of nearly a year.
So as many of you know, this group hasn't been very active recently. But there's one culprit and one culprit only for that:
REAL LIFE.
It's hard to manage this group when all the admins are in college and/or have jobs that take away a good chunk of their free time, myself included. It's even harder when some of us make artwork as a hobby and don't have much time to check on this account. Nevertheless, we are still here and the group is still running. But like the last update journal, it's been very inactive, since not too many users have requested to have their art/stories submitted here (and when it does happen, its rare we have time to submit everything they want posted here).
But it's possible that all may change soon! After talking to the other admins, we've decided to make
RossTheDragon one of our new moderators! He's a gas-loving dragon who enjoys just about anything dealing with flatulence, and he's been a devoted follower of this kink ever since he was a hatchling. Plus he makes his own fart images too sometimes. Considering how much of a fan he is and how adamant he is about running this group, me and the other admins are confident he'll do a great job. So feel free to say hello if you're ever visiting his userpage, whether its with your mouth or your gassy behind.

chaz625 here after a good long hiatus (had to have been more than 8-9 months). There's really not much going on with this group right now, in fact little communication between the admins but we're still here...sorta!
Furzen has certainly become less active as most remaining members know. I personally would like to apologize for that. I can't speak for every admin but I've been insanely busy the past several months and so I've simply kept up with my own FA. Not sure if I'm even really gonna try to keep up with the favorites and such like that here on Furzen or let the other admins work with that. But hey I'm still here!
The Furzen interactive story has practically been cancelled and we rarely get artists gifting art to us any more, especially with the rules we put in place of having only a few pieces from each artist, and I apologize for that too.
If you want to communicate with me specifically it'd probably be best to hit me up at my regular account but don't worry ladies and gentlemen Furzen is still kicking!

Final Verdict on Gallery
Posted 10 years agoTaking the advice of those who gave it over the past 24 hours, I've come to this conclusion:
New Gallery Rules:
1) Quality Control
Actual submissions, not faves, to be added to the group's gallery will be graded by the admins on whether enough effort was put into a particular picture for it to be submitted to the Furzen gallery. No this does not mean we are going to JUDGE the artist based on their artwork, but more or less make it a more fleshed out system to showcase what we believe to be the best of the best, while others will still get their artwork shown through faves.
2) NO art limit
The idea to limit the number of submissions per artists has been vetoed. We will resist spamming one artist but there won't be an actual limit in the end.
And yes, I () will still be cleaning up the gallery here soon. Expect to see it skinnier but more beautiful XP
As of now (4:40 PM EST) the gallery is as clean as I want it to be. Enjoy!
P.S. Something to note: When I first returned to the Furzen profile yesterday there were almost 400 submissions from those we were watching. I apologize in advance if most of them that would've been good for faving didn't appear, as that would have been a LOT of submissions to go through. Again, apologies in advance if your art didn't show up.

Who are we?
We are a pair of graphic designers who after having worked the field for a little bit and finished college have found that line of work is not our passion.
We rather enjoy working for ourselves and with your support we can continue to do what we love and produce quality work that you will love. Currently we operate an online store that houses adult graphic novels but we also produce personal work for clients such as character models, character designs and even sequence work. We are open minded artists and for the most part are comfortable producing a menagerie of art and have only a few subjects we shy away from. We are also real open to talking with our audience and clientele to give them (by extension you) an understand that we want to know what you want so we can produce it.

To put it blunt your support will keep us alive.
Seriously, while we work around the clock to produce quality work we really want to be able to support ourselves full time.
With the opportunity patreon provides we can accomplish this. However this isn’t just about making money for our lively hood. The funding we get also cycles back into our business to improve. Your funds be it donations or purchases of our product goes to improving equipment. We purchase expensive supplies like tablets and software to produce out content.
Not only that but we have wanted to create a website that would provide free and purchasable content but have yet acquired the funds for it and with patreon we can begin a savings account to pay for such a venture. Also with enough funds we can convert to fulltime which means we get to dedicate more time to making more content that you and we both love.
What will you do if your Patreon is a Success?

islethewolf. I created the group originally, but the others are the ones who check up on it. (Too busy with life and college. TwT) I enjoy farts and fart humor, and I wanted to make this group for other furs with similar interests. Sadly, like many kinks, it's commonly frowned upon to like that sorta thing. But, hopefully, this group will act like a little "haven" of sorts for furs, y'know? Hope you have fun here. =3

swampbutt, the creator of the icon, and a mod, heh. Anyways, I absolutely love farts, just about everything about em. The stank, the sound they make flying from your bunghole, everything. I'll also probably will be taking care of some art here, n shit like that. And, I do rp! Just pop me a note (not on here, my page) and just ask! Like me long ones, with lots of stank, so be warned. Whether it's the rotten smell of flatulence, the sputtering sound of gas being passed, a large creature sitting on another's face and pushing out a nasty one, or just standard toilet humor that makes me laugh. :p I'll probably be handling the story division of this account, finding flatulent stories and submitting them here (and perhaps, making stories specifically for this group ;p ).
