Posted 13 years agoNeeeeng. I don't know how to describe this other than the current thing I'm obsessing over is wearing off!
First, it was general weeabooness, which will always be in my heart. It's good for laughs and memories and I still enjoy watching it. My supreme weeaboo phase lasted many years, and I went from general newbie weeaboo to one who eventually knew what she spoke about and did her best to not get on people's nerves. During the later ammount of this time, I entered that bakura phase which... takes up 70% of my gallery. Big annoying weeaboo during this phase too? You bet I was. .. is.... I'll always be a weeaboo, but I'm not that idiot about it that I once was.
Then came the ponies.
HOLY SHIT THE PONIES. I tell you what, you'd all be super impressed to see how much I've improved during my pony phase! both art and maturity wise! Though, that's weird to say, considering... ponies, but yeah, it's true, and it's scary when you KNOW it. (Also, I got an EQD spotlight on my "lesson in friendship" comic[Titled: Sincerely, Everyone] which was just a sketch comic... weird)
on the opposite scale of improvement, my typing skills have gone down the drain. I asked around and evidently laptop keyboards do that too you. It's not that I don't know how to spell, it's just I'm always hitting the wrong keys or hit them in the wrong order or add some characters in a word that don't belong. (Though in my defense, "drowning" and "drownign" would be pronounced the same way since I drop the G when speaking)
I've also learned that I'm not a finishing artist like most others are. I'm mostly just a sketch artist. How do I know? Because I can't finish jack[x] shit![x] (Two of many examples; first is pony)
Though I think shading is really fun to play with. x3

Posted 14 years agoDon't get me wrong; I enjoy being with my mother, but enough is enough. I want to go home. I miss people, miss the singular accompanyment, and I have veeeeery much overdue commissions to work on, which I can't do without my computer (sadface).
As much as I love puppies and as much as I love being able to watch nice, constructive TV(discovery, science, animal planet, and...chiller channels), I'm loney, albeit stress-free.
Also I am typing this on my sister's Wii, and lookit all the nice grammar and punctuation I have!
Also it took me prolly 30 minutes to "type" this journal.
...........I hope this doesn't give me carpal tunnel. My hand hurts very bad from holding the wii-mote like this.

So my Dad is in the hospital..
Posted 14 years agoFor all three of you who I told yesterday, I know this journal's a bit late.
So my dad was having some pretty harsh symptoms, and the hospital said that his brain was bleeding, so he was transferred far away to another hospital for surgery. I got word from my aunt right before I went to sleep that they were planning on holding the surgery today instead of yesterday (was the neurosurgeon on holiday?)
Anyways, the point of this journal is that I think I'm starting to come down with similar symptoms as dad and it's scaring me.
But we WERE at a hospital.. full of sick people.. so I may have caught something from them, but I tend to have short, 3-hour illnesses or so anyway, so I'll have to wait and see. I think I might already be feeling better :D

And today marks the first day of My sister coming back. Mom can't deal with her shit anymore, so.. yay. .___.
It's been so peaceful here, too.
and I got to bitch at Mom. It was lovely. I told her right to her face that she purposely induces guilt in order to get what she wants because she started crying(and actually started CRYING) about me calling her a thief. Which I didn't do. she just puts worlds into my mouth.
And as a friend said about this: There's something called moving on. (And no, that wasn't insensitive for you to say. it's the bloody truth. You are WISE <3)
And she claims I don't love her to boot. bleh. It's not that I don't love her, because I do. It's that she tends to get on my nerves. But why?I dunno. She immediately assume things and takes things too seriously, has an attitude problem, and is very manipulative BECAUSE SHE'S MY MOTHER.

Mostly I remember showing Dad a picture I drew, and he was interested, but he always asked "And did you make this person up?" .. which... always depressed me. Thank you father for making an 8-year old realize she's not original. Safe to say I haven't shown him anything in YEARS.
Mom was always busy or preoccupied or just didn't care. I'd show her and she was always like "uh-huh." Also, I pulled up icanhazcheezburger for her once and she didn't even scroll down the first page. I even hovered over her should and demanded for her to do so. She went to the first picture (which was a very terrible one) and.. just stopped.

Posted 14 years agoI'm just doing the lineart of me a pony animation for an icon, and I got the top of the main, the tail,a ndthe boady all down flawlessly. just the main goddamn part of the mane is so terribly annlying as sheet. i've worked like.. two hours and there's still so much fail to be bad.
.. just thought I'd complain. This little anim. I'm hoping yall will find super adorable so it's a suprize. :D

Okay, so evidently my mom is injured, so she and my sister came over to borrow a cane. Okay, fine.
naturally my sister's mere presence stresses me to the point where my hair should be falling out.
Anyways, that goes all bleh yadda yadda okay, until they get ready to leave. My sister sits down, and then reaches over and starts digging in Dad's coat pockets. I call her out on it. She urges me to shut up. I call ehr out on it again, because no, stealing is wrong. Again, I won't shut up. It's not that I'm nagging, it's that she's aging it on. She keeps motioning to me and all I'm saying is literally "no."
So she gets pissed and we start arguing and she constantly threatens me with the cane (Dad's trying to sleep and mom's in her tuck. ( till the yelling annoys Dad and he comes out to make us all shut up. Ashley storms out of the house. I tell Dad that she was digging through his coat pockets and that's why this started. Mom comes back, gives me the cane, crying saying "sorry I bothered you." I was trying to tell her that is was because of bitchface, but she wouldn't listen and just left. Yay. I got back to my room and cried a little. I don't liek making my parents upset.
It would have been bad enough, but she wants to file claiming herself on taxes. So no, you're not even stealing from you're own house anymore. you're just stealing. She's hardly belongs here.. Hope she finally stays in jail soon. Make my life happier.

I could have handled that better, though. Instead of opposing her, I could have gotten up and taken the jacket away..

Posted 14 years agoSo I buy Catz 3 off Amazon, really really excited to play this game. I played it a few times when I was little and at a cousin's house, so I was like yaaaay when I got it. I put it in the cimputer... okay I'm just gonna cut to the chase
Evidently the game is SO incompatible with vista that I can't run the setup. Even in compatibility mode, I can't run it.

Posted 14 years agoSo have you seen a few Sci-Fi things like on the Sci-Fi channel or star treck where they are not in our Solar system, yet they call the energies and blah blah from the star they are at Solar? Did you know that was wrong?
But how is it wrong? Answer is simple: The energies produced by the star are named after star in question. So if our stuff is solar, what is the name of our star? The name of the sun is Sol. (Also while we're on the subject of names, "Lucifer" isn't something to call the devil, it is another name for the planet Venus and if you object to this, I'll hit you with an encyclopedia)

Our star's name: Sol
Sol's energy: Solar energy
Sol's farting power: Solar wind
Sol's acne: Sun spots.
Star's name: Betelgeuse
Betelgeuse's energy: Geusian(?)

I don't care they are changing it, however, these zodiacs ALL apply to when you are BORN.
So I was born on Jan 3. I am a Capricorn, therefore, i remain one still.
now, if I was born as of the official changing of the zodiacs, I'd be a Sagittarius. Which I'm not.

She was found by a traveling philosopher, who wanted to keep her, but he had no choice but to offer it to a wealthy figure to the region she was in. he dubbed her Celery since that seemed to be what she loved to eat the most. Her real name her adopted family gave her was.... something very long. i dunno, her full name is written on her ref. sheet. Unfortunately, I can't read Arabic and I lost the file so i can't translate the entire name for you (it's not easy to remember, okay?) But her other main name is Azizah. So you can call her either Celery or Azizah.
So Celery/Azizah is Muslim then? I've never seen her in a Hijab-thing.
I haven't drawn it. Besides, she's an animal and if you were one, would you want to wear a blanket on your head?

They are all humans. And so is everyone else in Pakistan. So Cel's not really allowed to go outside her palace walls because she'd be seen. .. and probably killed. If she must go out, she'd wear a hijab&cover.

Anyways, It might be a bit expensive for my art level, but oh well.
I'm doing sketches for $3. I can't promise greatness. And I want to call out for extra caution for anyone wanting me to do something with a long muzzle. Cats and stuff I should be okay with but...

Posted 15 years ago..soooooo... I woke up at midnight... and right on the dot midnight. 12:00. so.. this scared me. I don't wake up randomly at midnight. Anyways, heard sounds from another room. Normal for mom's house... except I'm the only one here.. anyways, I have the rifle handy believe it or not. Winchester. I dunno the edition or anything.
aaanyways, after 20 minutes of rehearsing my shrieks and my gun calls, I call 911 while crying.
I HAVE A GUN

.. anyways, 911 was... well, she took her job as.. a job. Didn't seem like she really cared. That and she hung up. ..... they aren't supposed to do that, are they..? Anyways, I waiting what felt like a long while in the bathroom then the 911 operator called back.
Turns out there was no one in my house to speak of, but I would like to thank the nice big black cop for looking though my house and easing my fears. ..but did he really have to take my gun away?
But yeah. I'm safe.. was terrified. I was robbed once before, which involved and incident with a machete and the slowest task force ever.. which I'm not gonna go into detail with. but that was at Dad's and I had someone to talk to during the whole thing, so this was alot scarier for me.
