Hi, I'm alive if you can believe it

Spent a long time picking away at a huge commission and a couple of others, so I'm going to take a break from them for now while I catch up on some personal stuff. Now that I have a better handle on my workflow I'll be able to adjust how many commissions I take and other junk like that.

tl;dr I'll open up for commissions again soon™ but in the meantime I'll be posting some personal stuff, either things I've yet to finish or old stuff that went on Patreon. You know, when I'm not addicted to Animal Crossing.

The holidays are around the corner and I need to get a headstart in order to prep for gift-giving and all that. Although I still have a few outstanding personal pieces they're nothing I can't finish in time.

So I'll see about (yes, finally) opening up commissions.

If you've done that, please note me or send me an e-mail at ArtByKayu[at]gmail.com with the basics of your request (Tier, # of characters, general idea, special considerations, etc). If I accept your commission I will let you know, request specifics and references, and may wish to get in touch through Discord (faster and more convenient updates, but optional).

Two special considerations for this batch of commissions:

* This is the first time in a long time I've opened for commissions so I may be initially selective in order to gauge how many spots I can take.

* I will favor first come, first serve, as well as ideas which I think can get me back in the swing. Please take no offense if I decline your commission, I will be less selective in the future as I figure out what I can handle. If I pass you over initially I will keep you in mind for a following round.

* Many of you have messaged me over the past months/years asking me about commissions. I haven't forgotten you! If you're one of those people, and you'd still like a commission, I will give it special consideration. Just let me know and I'll check my past notes/e-mails to confirm your prior interest.

If you're wondering where I've been (you probably weren't) I've been picking at a dozen different files. The result is I've barely been posting but have a folder of things that are halfway done or more, so hopefully I get them out soon. A lot of them are ref sheets but there's some fun stuff in there too. Just keepin ya'll updated; have a good one.

Just curious, I wanted to get a few metrics on where people are finding my stuff. If you say other (since I probably forgot a bunch of possibilities) just let me know in the comments. It helps me figure out what kind of audience I'm growing and what I should work on!

Random question, but I had some more ideas involving Khaosz and Zehlon (ex: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/31565120/) but it's not strictly furry. It's an acquired taste, I guess, I know it was something I came into over time. Just gauging interest since I don't want to spend too much time working on something that only has niche appeal

Thanks for all the recent watches, volks. It's good to be getting back in the swing of doing art, so hopefully things will keep coming faster. I have a lot of stuff planned out so I'll keep doing what I do. Feedback and such is appreciated, as always!
